Yes, the health care bill has passed the House. The Senate is the final hurdle.
The National Right to Life Committee is loudly claiming that the health care bill promoted by Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) would allow federal funds to subsidize abortions. Imagine my surprise, if you will, to discover that this claim is false.
