The original book proposal Scott McClellan’s agent shopped around to the major publishers apparently had very little resemblance to the final product: Scott McClellan Originally Wanted to Attack Media, Defend Bush - NewsBusters.org.
As we revealed Wednesday, the publisher of former White House press secretary Scott McClellan’s Bush-bashing book has close ties to George Soros. At American Thinker, William Tate observes that other publishers approached by McClellan don’t even recognize it as the same book.
