LGF reader “zombie” has new photographs and video from last weekend’s Moronic Convergence in San Francisco, but he’s been warned by his ISP that if he gets another link from LGF (and the thousands of hits that entails) they’ll shut him down for overuse of bandwidth. If you’re a lizardoid minion with a server and some extra bandwidth, and would like to mirror zombie’s pix, please post a comment and let us know.

Here’s a taste of the civilization-hating mental illness captured by zombie:

Just once, only once, I'd like to meet this asshat.

Thanks, reaganite, I was wondering wht the picture on his hat was. ;)

Hulllooo ... I have the space, it's been used before, and my ISP didn't say a word.

Thom to the rescue!

What's with the binder clips on the sign? He didn't feel like using the "Bushitler" placard underneath that day???

Kudos to zombie, who truly braves the "rough edges" of the enemy within ...

6 zulubaby  Mon, Jun 7, 2004 4:11:13pm

MikeO posted some pictures and there was one idiot holding an Israeli flag with a swastika where the Magen David should have been. Truly sickening.

7 Nannette  Mon, Jun 7, 2004 4:14:46pm

Charles,

I've got a lot of bandwidth and disk space available... I sent the details in an email.

8 MohawkDaddy  Mon, Jun 7, 2004 4:14:51pm

Wow! Pocket protector and suspenders with a solid golf shirt. Snazzy. I like how he has those clips holding the sign, it almost looks like there is another behind it, maybe so he can switch when the cameras show up from the networks?

I was lurking at Dhimmi-crat underground this afternoon, Reagan bashing in full force going on there.

Disgusting.

If he's a leftie, it's telling that the left doesn't even bother with their old fake "I'm not anti-Jewish, I'm anti-Zionist" line anymore. No, siree, you can be a proud Jewhater in the streets of San Francisco today!

I'm not even Jewish, and I'm frightened by this.

Conditions are favorable across coastal sections of Texas for tropical funnels, basically waterspouts that form over land in tropical airmasses. They rarely touch down, and when they do, almost never exceed F-1 intensity.

SPC has SE Texas in 2% risk area for tornadoes touching down.

Houston-Galveston WSR-88D NexRad Doppler shows tropical downpours moving north.

Historically, the progression was:

2. You can't live among us.

Looks like we have a new nuance to add to the list:
You can't live anywhere.

Charles-I have absolutely no idea what "mirror site" means but I've got lots of room in my own web accounts for more stuff. I only use a tiny percentage of my monthly allotment I pay my fees for. If some techie person wants to take a look at what I've got and determine if it useful and make a mirror site with it, I'd be happy to have it being used.

I am personally severely web challenged and will be almost no help.

I think that the Western seperatist movement will never be more than an illusion. Firstly, many in the west, especially B.C. and Alberta, are immigrants from other provinces who just got fed up with Eastern shit and so packed up and moved. As such, these people are unlikely to want to seperate.

Also, the Western Seperatist movement is, for many, merely a foil to piss off Ottawa. Westerners see the special treatment Quebec gets because of their constant pissing and moaning and threats to pull up stakes. My impression is that many in the movement are just stirring the pot to get a slice of that pie.

And yes, you are correct about Alberta. Most of them are plenty sick of carrying the rest of the country.

64 Fat Clemenza  Mon, Jun 7, 2004 4:46:27pm

Cam’s right – once you get out of Vancouver, BC is a great place. Spence’s Bridge is one of my favorite small towns in North America. But be careful driving, BCers drive like Egyptians – all over the place. And watch out for those logging trucks – those guys are maniacs. If we could get bigel to nuke Vancouver, BC would be heaven on earth.

67 Judith  Mon, Jun 7, 2004 4:48:55pm
I get the impression that Alberta is your Texas -- oil, cattle, and Canada's most conservative province, both politically and morally.

Yes, there is definately a wildwest component to Alberta. There is also a wierd open tolerance of anyone who works hard, is successful and minds their own business. Alberta has lots and lots and lots of new immigrants, with many secular Muslim fueling the creative fires. Alberta is a high energy highly creative kind of place.

Personally, I didn't like either Calgary or Edmonton though and I chose to live elsewhere. I am not quite sure why. It just doesn't suit me well. Perhaps it is the relative lack of tolerance for nonChristians who don't choose to be secular or to assimilate. The Jewish community is very small and usually can't wait to move back to Toronto.

68 Judith  Mon, Jun 7, 2004 4:50:50pm

I should add I also hate mountains and Alberta is just teeming with the damn things on the west end.

Thanks for the offer, Nannette. Let's see what we can do! BUT...5gb of bandwidth will last about 45 minutes before getting overloaded, the way things go with me. Last time Charles did this, we were talkin' about TERABYTES of bandwidth. Good Godfrey

Frisco is a lovely town, but the people suck.

Right now there is almost a 3 1/2 hour wait to get on a shuttle at Moorpark College and go up to Simi Valley to walk by Dutch's coffin. People are pouring in from all over, driving hours and waiting hours to pay their respects.

The bright line between the insane anti-American Left (with their insane racist Islamofascists apologists and promoters) and the rest of us is never more clear. June 5th saw the anniversary of the 6 day war with the neo-Nazi "peaceniks" openly supporting the annihiliation of Israel, and the loathesome bilge from DU and ilk like Rall attempting to piss on Reagan on the occasion of his passing.

So true. And we will survive -- we've survived worse. It makes me sad but we have to deal with this, and if we all land up in Israel, imagine what a party it will be :-)

Alevay... :-)

Israel's a great place to party.

We have survived a lot worse, but in my case I don't feel sad, except when I think of how ignorant and intolerant some people are.

We're only 14 million of this whole planet and yet so many see us as the threat, and not the 1.5 billion Muslims, of which at least 10% are extremists...

The Islamists have to deflect their own crimes by using their very loud voices to condemn Jews and Israel wherever possible, and some of the gullible sheep fall for it!

A few years ago the terrorists said that the west would end up doing their job for them - and it's true!

I was in the 7th bus over to the Presidential Library this morning, went through about 10 minutes after Gov. Schwarzenegger, and was in the viewing area for a changing of the guard.

Very moving experience.

Got there about 3 hours before the shuttles starting running. When I left, the wait was in the 3 - 4 hour range - and there was a 5 mile back up on the roads to get to the staging area.

About 2000 per hour were paying their respects.

I'll go back next week when the library reopens with my daughter. She's almost 7, but likes her visits there (particularly the Oval Office replica) - and she needs to see the gravesite.

I think I know exactly which photo you're talking about. And I'm one of the few people to know what it is! That woman was a protester at a strange breakaway protest at the Port of Oakland about a year or two ago. I'm not sure what they were supposedly protesting -- something about Port layoffs, or Homeland Security rules, or something. Anyway, they got into a very high security area and the cops tear-gassed them, and then shot not rubber bullets but some kind of wooden pellets or dowels that are supposed to be safer. This woman apparently got a couple of direct hits in the neck and head, causing huge swelling and bruises. She went to the media and it became a cause celebre. I think she even sued the cops. Not sure what became of the case.

Sorry if this answer wasn't what you expected!

Anyway, I'm off to labor away on my site. Considering my ineptitude, I hope to be done in about 5 or 6 hours...

I encourage anyone reading this to read the post and view the photos. It is very revealing.

Here's how, Mark: you've got to be one of them. As I am. You see, my cover is blown! This time around, there's no way to hide this fact in my images: I am in the inner circle of one of the main anti-war groups (won't say which one), so I know about everything that's going to happen long before the general public does. And I can walk amongst my unsuspecting "brethren and sistren" without raising the slightest suspicion! People have often asked me how I got some of the images I've taken, as no one else seems to be able to get quite so close and have such willing photographic subjects. This is my secret. Don't believe me? Check out the pix and videos on the site tomorrow, and you will see that only someone well-known to the [deleted for security reasons] crowd could mingle so freely in the thick of things.

Oh, how I relish the Stalin-esque purges and internecine paranoia this post will engender!! And I'll have a front-row seat watching the whole movement disintegrate internally. Ahhh...

Not really! You see, I am totally immune from criticism in this group! Why? [More secrets revealed>>] Because I am a "person of color." (Shocked?) It's quite funny, actually. I know their psychology better than they do. Part of the whole ethos in these groups is that "stupid white men" are always the obvious villains in any scenario. Not only is it not OK to point out the villainy of a "person of color", it is totally verboten to even suspect or accuse such a person. (OJ Simpson, you have a call on the white courtesy phone.) So, even if someone on the exceedingly unlikely chance figures out which one is me, they will never dare to accuse me publicly, lest they be called a "racist" by me and others. This is their greatest fear. Their hands are completely tied by their own cultish belief systems, which I have evilly exploited. (Charles also refers to me presumptively as "he," another potentially misleading identification which I've decided to leave unchallenged.)

I still can't get over how funny this all is.

An illuminating article on Palestinian disinformation and propaganda

Telling the Truth about the Palestinians
A briefing by Khaled Abu Toameh
April 27, 2004

'The lack of free speech in the territories should not be dismissed as an internal Palestinian problem. When Palestinian journalists are intimidated, it affects foreign journalists, who depend on Palestinians to be their guides and translators in the territories. When foreign journalists interview Palestinians, many translators often mistranslate or even reprimand Palestinian interviewees critical of the Palestinian Authority, and foreign journalists' ability to accurately gather facts is thus hampered.

Another problem with the Palestinian media is the sad fact that some Palestinian journalists see themselves as foot soldiers serving the revolution. These so-called journalists are often politically affiliated with one group or another. Under the PA, you basically cannot be a journalist if you are not a member of Fatah or the security forces. All the credible independent journalists have been fired by the three major Palestinian newspapers, and there are many professional Palestinian journalists, but they have been forced to seek work with the Arab and foreign media.

Any way, I, as living in a free state, will preserve myself the right to defend myself in case of any aggression he might produce against me or against others.
I think it's too easy to live in SF to look for the truth in stars or news' headlines. But anyway, I know that we have to deal with such people too and take them seriously.

Jihad Comes to UC-Irvine

[Link: frontpagemag.com...]

There seems to be a pandemic of anti-semitism or Jew hatred going around the world, particularly in campuses in the West, masquerading as anti-Zionism. This is inexplicable, for campuses are not places where one expects to find irrational hatred. Yet there it is.

I just cannot believe that large numbers of non-muslims are infected by religiously inspired hatred, as Muslims are re Jews. The only thing that may explain this phenomenon, is the continuous vilification of Isreal/Jews by the BBC. The BBC is the premier new organisation of the world and despite its outing by blogs such as LGF, it remains a trusted source of news and commentary. Other media simply re-broadcast BBC output on the basis that it is honest and fair. The result is that many in the world, including students and academics in campuses, end up believing that Israel is the source of all evil.

Now I'm not suggesting that the BBC is evil in all its many output. Far from it. It still produces some quality stuff. It is the News and Current Affairs programme that is in need of 'some education'. Its willful ignorance of the evil nature of Jihad and its source, does no one, including Muslims, any good.

is it not true?

israel=jewish state.

where any jew can migrate and receive citizenship based on the facthe/she is a jew. move to the occupied territories, get subsidized housing loans
on "settlements" , special car license plates for use on jews-only highways.

Hmmm, totally opposite of say, Saudi Arabia, where anyone of any religion can visit any part of the nation, practice their religion as they please, and know they are totally respected?

Unlike Pakistan.

Interesting thing- the penalty for killing a Muslim is death, the penalty for killing a non-Muslim is a prison term.

I think it is so unfair that a group of people targetted for persecution for centuries should be allowed to live in their ancestral homeland in a nation smaller than New Jersey when the poor oppressed Arabs only have a few nations from Morocco on the Atlantic through Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Sudan, The Emirates, Iraq, Qatar and Kuwait on the Persian Gulf.

That is just so wrong.

There is no such thing as "Jew only highways," but everything else you've said is correct. Israel is a Jewish state which welcomes every Jew as a citizen. As Israeli citizens Jews can settle in their historic homeland, including Judea, Samaria, Gaza and the Golan Heights.

Are you offended that the Jews didn't ask you for permission? Deal with it.

is this how you deflect criticism?

that's like saying "hey,we only put electrodes on prisoners balls put saddam did that too AND he turned the power on"

thank buddha israel is sooo much better than saudi arabia.

lets face it. zionism is a relic of 19th century european nationalism. with globalization and ease of movement across borders, the concept of an ethnic group receiving favored status within a specified area based on what their god told them in some holy book is outdated.

200 Avi W  Tue, Jun 8, 2004 3:51:09am

I'm deflecting criticism? I think you should re-read my post. I'm not really interested in deflecting that sort of criticism. The object of Zionism isn't to appease persons such as yourself. 2000 years of Jewish history have shown that Zionism doesn't have an expiration date, but unless you're a Jew living in Israel I'm not really interested in whether you agree or not.

I think it'll go like this: you'll keep criticizing and we'll keep building. I, for one, am completely satisfied with that arrangement.

:)

The only reason I replied to your comment was to say that there are no "Jew-only roads" in Israel.

Cheers.

203 Ayatollah Ghilmeini-Berlin 1945-Ramallah 2004  Tue, Jun 8, 2004 4:32:10am

The most sordid act in human history was the Molotov von Ribbentrop agreement. The left fascist alliance was no accident. Stalin refused to believe Hitler would make war against him until the Germans were already barrelling down the road to Kiev.

Just as Stalins' bootlickers in Paris, and the cadres worldwide, praised the peace with Hitler and sabatoged every effort for France to prepare for war in 1940, they still deny the great truth that Hitler would not have started a war that killed tens of millions of people, if the communist regime had not made common cause with him.

Every proponent of far left ideals carries this baggage, the sign in this picture just underscores the great truth: the only difference between a Nazi and Communist is the shape of their helmet. These are toxic ideologies devoid of any shred of humanity and certain formulas for mass death.

204 Ariel  Tue, Jun 8, 2004 4:34:46am

geekpunk #199,

thank buddha israel is sooo much better than saudi arabia.

Well, if you lot chose to actually compare Israel to the many other countries that are much worse, perhaps people wouldn't need to remind you.

How is your protest against the Holy See, aka Vatican City, going?

zionism is a relic of 19th century european nationalism. with globalization and ease of movement across borders, the concept of an ethnic group receiving favored status within a specified area based on what their god told them in some holy book is outdated.

Does it take practice to contradict yourself in the space of the same paragraph? Is Zionism a relic of 19th century nationalish or is it something based on some holy book? I'm so confused.

In any case, just as soon as the Jew-haters of the world decide that they're tired of hating Jews and just as soon as the religiously oriented states throughout Europe (e.g. Ireland) and the Middle East are dismantled, you might have sort of a case. In the mean time, your discrimination in choosing the Jewish state is quite telling.

You have decided which nations shall live and which shall not live? What gives you that right? What happened to the idea of self-determination?

According to the hard Left, self-determination is for everyone -- with one exception: Israelis. And if Israelis want self-determination too, just like other peoples, well then self-determination as a concept has to go, according to the hard Left.

This concept is part of the new anti-semitism. Israel is the Jew among the states. And so Israel is singled out for anti-semitic treatment, denying it the common right of self-determination.

From Dershowitz's book, The Case for Israel (Introduction)

So long as criticism is comparative, contextual, and fair, it should be encouraged, not disparaged. But when the Jewish nation is the only one criticized for faults that are far worse among other nations, such criticism crosses the line from fair to foul, from acceptable to anti-Semitic.

In the new antisemitism, the Nazis have morphed into the hard Left, and the individual Jew who was the target of the Nazis has been replaced by the Jew-among-the-states, Israel.
Die, Jew has been replaced by Death to Israel.

Or, as in the sign above, Smash the Jewish State.

Hitler is dead, but the hate that he helped organize lives on, in the hard Left.

Speaking of which:

DENVER -- A bizarre situation developed in the small mountain town of Granby, Colo., Friday afternoon, when a heavily-armed man knocked down at least six buildings with his homemade armor-plated bulldozer before being stopped.

The massive, heavily modified D-5 Caterpillar was finally stopped around 4:40 p.m. and law enforcement officers were climbing over it, assessing the situation and trying to get inside. It was reported that the driver was killed, but that has not been confirmed.

Dont expect a response from geekfuck. Your point has made him finally see his black, jew hating soul for what it is.

He doesnt care about those "other countries", where true gender, religious and ethnic apartheid exists because the people running them aren't jews.

There is no other explanation for his indignance at the "evil" Zionist state but utter silence on KSA, Pakistan, Gulf States, Iraq, Yemen, etc, the TRULY fucked up countries where being anything but a muslim makes you persona non grata.

He hates jews. Simple as that. Or he's a self hating jew, which is six in one hand, etc.

Right on the button. The Left has always had a fascination with unadulterated Power. They will ally themselves with any ideology that offers them control over the 'masses'. I dont they quite realise that with Islamofascists, all they will get is a beheading.

Now they have allied themselves with Islamofascists, or is it Buddhafascists (I'm getting so confused by Charles and other posters of who these terrorists are). In the UK, the Socialist Workers party has actually allied itself with one or the other Islamic organisation and calls itself 'Respect'. R-E-S-P-E-C-T! Wasnt this a great song by Aretha Franklin.

why so defensive on the accuracy of my statement saying that israel=jewish state?

i do care if other non-jewish states ie. arabs treat their citizens as you say " where true gender, religious and ethnic apartheid exists "

however, i despise more the hypocrites who thunders "the middle east only democracy" when policies of pure racial exclusion is being practised.

ie.

a jew from stockholm, sweden can decide to migrate, get citizenship and enjoy full rights simply on the basis of being a jew.

replace jew with any other name will make it equally abhorrent.

Even if I accept your assertion that you care about the way Arabs are [mis]treated in Arab states, there is something deeply wrong with your statement:

1. Citizenship laws vary from country to country, but it's fairly common to be able to claim citizenship simply because your parents had it, or one of your parents had it. I think it's true of Ireland, and some Americans with Irish go for it. So Israel is doing exactly that: You have Jewish parents/grandparents -- you can become a citizen of the Jewish state. It doesn't stop there, though, because converts are eligible Israeli citizenship.

2. Jews are not like the French or the Saudis. One thing we learned from our history is that we actually NEED a state to survive because, you know, we do live in a racist world.
