The Pakistani released by Islamic serial killers in Iraq says he saw his captors decapitate three people in front of him: Iraq hostage ‘saved because he was Muslim’.

A Pakistani hostage released by his captors in Iraq claimed yesterday that he saw them behead three people before sparing his life because he appeared to be a devout Muslim.

Amjad Hafeez, who worked for an American company that supplied food to the United States military, was released last week after the intervention of leading Muslim clerics.

“The people who were beheaded - their hands and legs were tied and one fat guy came and beheaded all three of them, one by one, after saying ‘God is Great’.”

Mr Hafeez was next in line to be executed, he said. “They told me, ‘The cameraman is coming. Then I cut your neck’. I waited to die.”

He believes that his captors accepted that he was not an American spy, as they had alleged, when he began a Muslim cleansing ritual before saying his final prayers.

Meanwhile, masked militants bombed five shops selling alcohol in Baquba, killing a passing Iraqi taxi driver, police officials said. In the northern city of Kirkuk, a cinema that had been showing erotic films was burnt down overnight in a suspected arson attack.

The last paragraph proves GWB right again: they do hate our freedom.

As for the obvious religious animus of these savage crimes, what else is new? I know the BBC disagrees, but it's Islam, stupid.

Hmmm...

The Islamofascists are placating fellow Muslims by not beheading Muslim captives; however, they terrify their captive by making him a witness to their savagery then releasing him as a warning to others.

Darleen (#2),

That's who intimidation and fear work hand in hand to maintain power.

Alcohol and erotic films??

Way to go, Iraquis!!

Now if we could just get rid of those Islamo-Nazi pricks...

If he's squealing like this to the media that is picked up and carrried around the world, it makes me wonder how devout he really is.

D-Fens, wouldn't it be more accurate to say that the BBC is whoring for Jew-haters?

11 zulubaby  Sat, Jul 10, 2004 4:21:32pm

The stories get worse by the day. How are we going to put an end to this?

U.S. Marines pummeled guerrillas ...

All we have to do is give them permission to do their job. They're so damn good at it!

Powderfinger, I'm not sure what we're waiting for. The US is the super power of the world and we're being manipulated by thugs. It boggles the mind.

Isn't Political Correctness wonderful? And on top of that, it's Election Season: the boggling has only just begun.

I wonder how many times and how hard we're going to have to get hit before we get serious about this.

Or maybe after November, Bush will feel like he can take the gloves off. It's terribly sad that he'd get hammered for doing it now.

Is there a "pope" of islam? if so, why is he so quiet?

20 zulubaby  Sat, Jul 10, 2004 4:50:34pm

Powderfinger, I think about that too, how many people have to die before we are willing to truly destroy the enemy.

Or maybe after November, Bush will feel like he can take the gloves off. It's terribly sad that he'd get hammered for doing it now.

What will be even sadder is if he doesn't win in November.

peace be upon me, so now they're "zealots"?

I’m guessing that Mr. Hafeez’s hands and legs weren’t tied like the others?

Is there a "pope" of islam?

No. There is no hierarchy. Apparently anyone can become a "respected cleric" simply by studying the Koran and killing enough of their rivals.

26 SwampWoman  Sat, Jul 10, 2004 5:54:01pm

Yeah, the Japanese used to behead their English/American captives as well, unless there were too many and they merely tied them up and machine-gunned them. If the Islamonuts read history, they'd realize that this is something they really don't wanna start up again.

Sure is a good thing that all cultures are the same, as the multi-cultists teach, else this would discomfit my digestion.

28 Shira  Sat, Jul 10, 2004 6:45:43pm

OT, sort of, but fits in with the concept of the religion of atrocity -- A little over an hour ago (at 5:00 a.m. local time) I heard on Israeli radio news that a gang of six men armed with knives attacked a mother and baby on a train in Sarcelles, a suburb of Paris, because they thought the woman was Jewish. They abused her physically, robbed her, and overturned the baby carriage. President Chirac condemned the attack.

I don't remember whether the report said specifically that the gang was Muslim, but I'm sure they were.

29 zulubaby  Sat, Jul 10, 2004 6:50:23pm

Shira, there's a link posted here. Absolutely disgusting.

The men of North African origin also overturned the pram holding her baby, aged 13 months.

Yeah, they were Muslims.

30 zulubaby  Sat, Jul 10, 2004 6:51:02pm

It really is a Religion of Atrocity. Feh.

31 Ribbity Frog  Sat, Jul 10, 2004 7:10:38pm

Did you ever see those silly websites that claim that the Nick Berg murders were staged by the CIA because the murderers were fat, and there are no fat Iraqis?

I guess this Pakistani worker must have seen a CIA operative in action.

Those Yanks sure know how to chop off heads.

He believes that his captors accepted that he was not an American spy, as they had alleged, when he began a Muslim cleansing ritual before saying his final prayers.

Just practice a little taqiyya on 'em. All westerners in the Gulf should learn enough of the Religion of Peace to get them out of a jam like this. Cleaning rituals, how to defecate in a hole, which hand to wipe with, etc. Name, rank, serial number and "Allah akbar".

33 Nekama  Sun, Jul 11, 2004 6:33:07am

Muslim cleansing ritual? That means sharpening the knife.

34 Anonymous Al  Sun, Jul 11, 2004 10:23:05am

... ‘saved because he was Muslim’... ???

He would be saved if he came to Jesus, but Muslims burn in Hell with their false "prophet" after they die.

35 Pete(Detroit)  Mon, Jul 12, 2004 6:23:58am

any chance of teaching everyone who goes over seas these "cleansing rituals"?

36 Pete(Detroit)  Mon, Jul 12, 2004 6:36:44am

You realize, of course, that 'erotic films' are 'Frankie and Annette Beach Flix'... ?
