-RetweetDaily Kos Calls for LGF to Be Shut Down (Again)

Mon, Sep 20, 2004 at 3:22:02 pm PDT

The moonbats at Daily Kos are frothing mad, after being exposed as liars and hacks for trying to promote the forged CBS memos as genuine, and they’re saying mean things about us again.

But that’s OK! One look at Jack the basset hound and all’s right with the world.

UPDATE at 9/20/04 5:36:59 pm:

Please note: the apoplectic post linked above Jack the Basset was not written by Markos “Screw Them” Zuniga, but by one of his acolytes. Markos himself is busy with more important things, like applauding Michael Moore for doing such a wonderful job of undermining the morale of our troops in Iraq.

LGF is for mentally-ill sadists who live in the basement of Mom's house in the suburbs and own porn videos that feature the (simulated, hopefully) mutilation of women. It's for teenaged guys who read Soldier of Fortune and fantasize about spending their summers "slithering around on their bellies in Survivalist camps in Idaho." It's for people who wished the Klan was still around and influential, for people who used to like David Duke but hate him now that he's sympathetic to Palestine, for people who thought the Columbine massacre was "a good thing that they wish they had been in on."

In short: LGF is sicko-ville deluxe. And irredeemably so. This is Stormfront stuff.

The LGF guys are the kind of guys who would think an AK-47 is the only answer to girls like "Carrie" from "Sex and the City."

LMAO!

Check the comments on LGF sometime and view the splendor of people eaten up from the inside by total hate.

That's the one that really cracks me up! Reading the whole comment overflowing with absolute hatred for LGF and then they accuse us...talk about projection!!! They are the absolute masters of it.

33 Final Historian  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 1:32:37pm

Obligitory Racist-Right Wing Nut Job Post (with apologies to Monty Python)

Well now, the result of last week's competition when we asked you to find a derogatory term for the Belgians. Well, the response was enormous and we took quite a long time sorting out the winners. There were some very clever entries. Mrs Hatred of Leicester Said 'let's not call them anything, let's just ignore them' ... and a Mr St John of Huntingdon said he couldn't think of anything more derogatory than Belgians.

But in the end we settled on three choices: number three ... the Sprouts, sent in by Mrs Vicious of Hastings... very nice ; number two... the Phlegms... from Mrs Childmolester of Worthing; but the winner was undoubtedly from Mrs No-Supper-For-You from Norwood in Lancashire... Miserable Fat Belgian Bastards

Please return your tinfoil hat to it's upright and locked position.

Wait a minute there DKos, you've just described Senator Kerry's preferred deerhunting method! I liked the last line about LGFer's preferring AK-47s to "Carrie" from "Sex in the City". All I can say is that I rate the chances that someone on DKos will actually acquire an AK-47 about one million times better than the chances that any one of them will share an intiimate moment (at least a mutual one) with "Carrie".

It's fun to watch the LLL explode with paranoid rage. I can only imagine the silent seething rage that they now harbor against Dan Rather for betraying them in the midst of foaming on about the LGF slander of those authentic Killian memos. Dan thinks the conservatives are out to get him? Hah, he ain't seen nothing like a righteous LLLer that's been betrayed. The word "apostate" comes to mind.

Ok, here ya go: I'm a software company executive and own my own home, I don't read Soldier of Fortune nor do I belong to the NRA. I don't have any porn videos, the KKK is evil and I think David Duke is a character from an old sitcom about a fast car.

But you got one right: I don't watch "Sex and the City".

72 Colt  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 1:42:33pm

Let's just say if Red Dawn happened, I wouldn't exactly be prepared.

Don't own even on porn video and while I might be willing to a confess to enjoying a little French Vanilla on occasion I certainly don't indulge in anything even remotely close to

own porn videos that feature the (simulated, hopefully) mutilation of women

simulated or otherwise. For one thing I'm straight and for another well -squick!-

I've never approved of the klan nor would they have me being decidely Jewish... well I could just go on and on but Master Kos is clearly throwing a temper tantrum and what he obviously needs is a good spanking, and maybe having his mouth washed out with soap.

I hope his Mommy ventures downstairs to check on her baby soon. He's getting out of hand.

Why anyone spends anytime on his site - which is on the same par as DU and Indymedia - escapes me.

This is a perfect example of how the left tolerates gays only if I accept a quasi-dhimmitude role as their political pet. This idiot does not care what sharia says about homosexuality and has not the slightest idea that a gay considering his options might be interested to fight for the rule of man-made law. I always thought it would be a very enlightening sociological study to get a demographic survey of all the great people here. You know, average income, level of education, where people live (city as well as room in the house), profession, magazine subscriptions, sexual preferences, favorite sports, favorite videos, etc., etc. . . .

But then again, I'm not very fond of sociologists and my guess is on average we're probably (speaking for myself anyway) boring, but normal, like regular people.

You know, Kos is right. Whenever I need my fix of old-fashioned down-home Judenhass, LGF is my first stop. Robe-wearin', God-fearin', Jew-hatin', cross-burnin' good ol' boys down yonder, ayup.

Seriously though, I notice that Kos is aware that David Duke supports the Philistines, not the Israelis. He obviously knows LGF is 173% pro-Israel. Yet he cannot grasp the obvious implication: real Klansmen are on his side, not ours.

Kos just blew a gasket, didn't he? He can't say anything rational so he resorts to classifying LGFers as
Klan-loving, Columbine shooter cheerleading rascist dung heapers.

I don't hate muslims or anyone else (although I hate what they are doing). But at the same time, I'm no fool. I can tell who wishes me ill or well. If anyone 's goal in life is to behead me or mine, I will tell it like it is. And anyone who tries to find excuses for why they are doing what they are doing is abetting them...plain and simple. And let the political chips fall where they may. (Chips...no dung pun intended.)

Moonbat Meltdown

The poor Loons are having a tough time dealing with the bursting of (C)BS's bubble. Found on DU, a representative comment:

you know they are true. the journalists know they are true. adn bush certainly know they are true

there was a reason they were presented as is. from what i understand in law, he had to change them up a tad in wording, to not get in trouble. dont know the specific of law.

now you can pretend like rove, like bush since you point to documents as forgeries makes the content false. only the stupid are going to fall for that.

the info is correct

Let's see:

"From what I understand in law [nothing], he [the unspecified he!] had to change them up [up? why not down? or over? or just transform and rewrite the bloody things?] a tad in wording [wording?], to not get in trouble [d'oh! ... that didn't exactly work, now, did it?]. dont know the specific of law ['course not].

Now my moonbat brother is saying that it wasn't the documents themselves, it was the false military jargon that exposed the docs as faked. No credit to LGF! He'd Rather Die First.

Meanwhile, Kerry's got a new mantra:

"I'm good enough, I'm smart enough... but gosh darn it, people don't like me!"

110 FlyingTigress  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 1:52:43pm

Actually, my 82-year old mother is a moonbat... and served as an PERFECT example of what happens to your brain on liberalism.

I wouldn't live in her basement -- even if she still had a home that had a basement.

The lovely prose of Kos is the same that has been used in every "socialist" (=stalinofascist) State against ANY form of disagreement (way less than dissent).

As soon as you don't obey the orders barked by the redfascist gauleiters, you are entitled to every possible name: homophobe, friend of the klan etc. In the end, they will call us imperialistic-Jewish-cabal-nazi-capitalistic scum.

We should be HONORED by their insults.
Hundreds of MILLIONS went through this in the last 100 years and we are surely honored to be treated like them, the Freedom Fighters who, all over the world, laughed at the delirium of power, control and lies of the REDFASCISTS.

As Charles Krauthammer once wrote in a column not too long ago: Conservatives think Liberals are stupid. Liberals think conservatives are mean.

It's obvious we're talking past each other, but the blame lies with the left. Why? Because political debate is inherently a rational activity with careful reflection. We conservatives debate on whether something is true or not, instead of wondering whether it is good or bad. The passions flare when the conversation revolves around how it makes one feel.

Daily Kos reminds me of the Tasmanian Devil character, always spinning and shouting out noises and interjections without really saying anything, while being all worked up over nothing.

Say, thanks for Kos for reminding me to click on the wonderful LGF advertisers. I went to WSJ's Best Of The Web and found this piece of really insightful analysis:

Inasmuch as John Kerry has anything at all to say about Iraq, it is that as president he would somehow expand the U.S.-led alliance by winning over unspecified "foreign leaders" who are supposedly his confidantes. But look how the Kerry campaign treats America's actual allies. The candidate himself has insulted them by calling them "a fraudulent coalition" and "a coalition of the coerced and the bribed."

I assume Kos' problem is he's feeling unloved because of LGF's crushing stats. This despite Kos' place of honor at the Dem Convention and lots of good press. Kos is beloved by the left. He has just the right politics and ethnic credentials. Plus, he was in the American Army, just like his main man. You can't beat that.

Meanwhile, I wish Kerry would stop insulting our Coalition allies by calling them meaningless and insignificant, and telling them they've gone to war mistakenly. He keeps doing this. He went to Vietnam, and then tried to shut down the American military for the rest of the century. This is turning into a lifelong habit with him.

160 Judith  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 2:09:28pm

Whoa! CBC actually reporting on the CBS story!

Also now quoting Kerry's call for a great honest national debate ect. at NYU. Several minutes of his speech and lots and lots of quotes.

CBC quoting him as being smart and honest. "Invading Iraq has created a crisis." and on and on. The reporter is practically drooling.

Now reporting how Kerry has fallen in the polls for a very short amount of time.

Next story:
"An American hostage has died." It just happened, you see.

CBS story now. Rather admitting mistake. He says he's sorry. "Authenticity questioned over the internet." Now stating documents may well be fakes, but content is real. Now quoting conspiracy theory. Totally polarized USA. Won't affect election. People who would vote for Bush already know these things about him and are voiting for him anyway.

Time to go home for supper, but I just lost my appetite.

Mutilated women? Being a woman myself -- Women -- ew. Mutilated -- ew.ew. ew.

Part of the reason to oppose religion of pieces -- although to be honest I don't like mutilated men, either. Padded handcuffs and light tickling would be about the most I would want to see done to ANY human being.

So -- Kos can put that in his pipe and SMOKE it.

However, I do find Sex in the City a puerile diversion that concentrates on sex to the exclusion of everything else. And I think the women in it are needy. This is not a reasoned critique, though. Only watched a couple of them.

." It's for people who wished the Klan was still around and influential, for people who used to like David Duke but hate him now that he's sympathetic to Palestine, for people who thought the Columbine massacre was "a good thing that they wish they had been in on."

Now I did once point out that Pat Buchanann and David Duke both had the same platform, but at least Duke had some managment experience, and as heads of the KKK go he was rather progressive.

My big problem with the KKK is that JUST because I'm jewish they won't let me join. :-)

Of course I've actually been to Palestine ( THe West Bank) and dated both an Israeli and a Palestinian (women, not that that matters). Amazing that I could do all these things while still in my PJ's in my mothers attic watching star trek. :-)

I assume you're both ladies, so you've answered a question I've always had: do any women like gay male porn the way men like "lesbian" porn? Having seen all sorts of porn, I can safely say that gay male porn is the best in terms of the attractiveness of the actors and how much they appear to love what they're doing. With the girl/girl stuff I've seen, the women always look like they're performing; there's a falsity to their acting (and their appendages, for that matter). The boys always seem like they're really into it. Excepting of course the "gay for pay" "str8 guys" genre that I like so much, but that's a different story for a different day...

Nick Berg's father shows once again his son was a better man than he:

"I challenge anyone deep in your hearts to realize that Kerry isn't like Bush," said Berg. "Bush is like Saddam Hussein. Bush condones rape and murder, and does it with a wink of an eye. Bush says he does it in the name of economic policy.

"John Kerry decried rape, murder and genocide while he was in Vietnam. If you think John Kerry will end this war too soon, I say 'too soon for what?' It'll save our sons and daughters.

"I can't afford a third party vote. This time, there is only one issue, justice in foreign policy. Vote for John Kerry--I'm going to."

"We" are not that shallow. Contrary to popular opinion, despite JFK's supposed charm and beauty, women voted for Nixon by a slight margin in 1960. It was men who put JFK into office. (I'm not judging right or wrong on that--simply that women don't always vote on beauty, charisma.)

And to Zuniga and the rest for the tin-foil hat wearing brigade -- I began my school career in 1958 attending a SEGREGATED school in North Carolina because they wouldn't implement the Brown decision, so I don't need some snot nosed liberal telling me what racism is - I saw it every day of my life and know it for the horror that it is. If these pansies ever found themselves face to face with a Klansman they'd crap in their pants and run whining home to Momma and hide in HER attic.

And my proudest day was when my Republican mother told some jackass to "kindly refrain from saying [n-word] where her daughter could hear it. She told me once - "it ain't about black and white, darlin' - it's about right and wrong."

245 manofaiki  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 2:48:01pm

First of all, a little accuracy Charles.

Kos didn't say you should be shut down, he was just incensed to discover that AOL-Time Warner and the Wall Street Journal advertise over here.

We all know liberals are driven insane by discovering there are large segments of society that don't think the way the do, that are not as pure, holy, compassionate and accepting.

Which is why they always use words like RACIST, THUGS, HOMOPHOBE and GUN NUTS.

They are only warm, kind and considerate to those who are within their fold. Outside the fold, you are fair game, and the liberal can, with a completely clear conscience, call you any hateful and spiteful thing he can think of because you deserve it.

It never occurs to him what he's doing to himself spirtitually by doing that, of course.

I haven't met one conservative who I would say HATES liberals. But I have met plenty of leftists that absolutely HATE conservatives.

We think they're misguided and have some good points. We think they should be allowed to say whatever they want whenever they want.

They think we're evil and need to be silenced and not allowed to publish books, talk in the radio, be seen on TV or HAVE BLOGS.

But do not fear, little flock. It's your Father's good Pleasure to remind you that THEY'RE OUTNUMBERED.

Well, I think that the site is more convincing if we DO attempt to answer criticism. If the criticism isn't serious, then you take the time to prove that it isn't serious... If you want to convince people then appearance matters.

And I make my own criticism because I do want the site to be convincing to the unconverted...

That said, we there are deep reasons why LGF makes people uncomfortable. The distinction between a hawk and a bigot can easily be lost on someone who glances at a thread and never comes back. And the need for Americans to be hawks, while obvious from the weight of evidence in the news stories - if you read them for enough weeks and months, can also be easily lost on someone who glances at the site and assumes some ulterior motive for the choice of articles - rather than seeing the extent of the threat.

We have an arguement to make, and we're largely just assuming that people will figure it out for themselves.

After that blistering critique from Kos, I even hate to post this, but . . .

This from today's column by Joanne Jacobs. She's quoting Greg Easterbrooke from The Atlantic.

"Here are the 500 best universities in the world, according to Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The list starts: Harvard, Stanford, Cambridge, Berkeley, MIT, Cal Tech, Princeton, Oxford, Columbia, Chicago.

NormBlog and Nelson Ascher point out the regional breakdown. Of the top 20, 17 are U.S., two British and one Japanese, Ascher writes:

Only 35 countries have at least one university among the 500 (more exactly 502) best.

While Israel (population around 6 millions or 0.1 percent of mankind) has seven of these, all the Islamic countries together (maybe 1/5 of mankind) have not a single one."

Not that it means anything of course. I certainly don't want to be scolded again for demeaning any culture, no matter how sick or twisted they are.

#218 - I hear and understand your comments about dealing with racism first-hand. I remember watching Klansmen march down the streets of a local town when I was in high school. What jackshits.

Of course, Kos's crew are the type that lump all Southerners in with klansmen, so the mere fact that we grew up in - and grew to despise - such blatant racism would probably be twisted and used against us. Kos's crew are as bigoted as they come, so they lump Republicans, and Southerners, and LGF, and Stormfront into one big stew, because it's the only way they can feel superior to anyone.

As for demographics, I'm a female psychometrician (Ph.D. in Quant Psych), own my own home in a very diverse area, work in a major US city, and am active in volunteer work (the local animal shelters) and the adult goth scene. I also have my own blog on testing; unlike Kos, I understand how to harness both the power of Google and the expertise of others on the web.

I mean, his picture would hang in our embassies throughout the land. As mad as we are at the Europeans, we still think this would be unwarranted cruelty.

OT.

Oooh, CBC's "As it happens" is doing an interview on the CBS story. We'll see how what they say. "As is happens" is very good. I don't think I've ever heard them spin anything (though they've never tried to portray themselves as a serious program).

They tend to do very long phone interviews on every story - sometimes with multiple sources. That's their advantage, though if they pick the wrong sources, they still might not get the story.

272 Captain Nemo  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 3:10:30pm

goldsmith,
It's no use. They won't beat you up. I'm gay too; I mentioned it in a thread last week, when it seemed relevant to the political discussion. I had one troll attack me, and the whole gang turned on HIM. It was almost disappointing, really ... I was having fun batting his brain around like a cat with a mouse, placidly agreeing with him on points where he didn't actually realize he had conceded ground, taking him by the hand and leading him back to the scene of his own contradictions ... (Seriously, I enjoy messing with the minds of gay-baiters by answering them seriously and watching them backpaddle. They ALWAYS backpaddle) but my fun was interrupted by mass hordes of LGF regulars stomping him into a little greasy spot on the rug. And then Charles (Hail, O sssaurian massster!) BANNED him. I was quite impressed, actually, & felt quite welcome.

I cannot STAND left-wingers like that Kos guy who presume to speak for me and presume to tell me who my friends and enemies are. My enemy is the enemy who actually DOES kill gay men and mutilate women. My friends are my countrymen who are resolved to resist that enemy, resist shariah, and defend liberty.

276 Joshua (not a hamster) Scholar  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 3:18:40pm

They're interviewing two professors.

So far they've ripped Burkett to shreds, saying that he's been posting anti-Bush screeds online, that (/) he tried to sell his story to the democrats and that he's disgruntled against the National Guard...

They're talking about blogs right now, but they STILL haven't mentioned the evidence that the documents are fake.

The professors are attacking the blogs. "That is too new for me"

The professor is spinning conspiracy theories:
"4 hours after the report aired, blogs posted detailed analysis about the report and the documents and something about a 'th'. My goodness I want to know where that came from."

That 'th' was the only mention in the whole report of any evidence that the documents are fake!.

Damn it. "As it happens picked the wrong professors" They just attacked blogs as "unchecked" they only repeated the MSM part of the story, and they implied conspiracy theories. The repeated "My goodness, where did that come from?" three fucking times!

Oh well.

Also my NPR station is in a pledge drive. They seem to have cut the story short themselves.

What on earth is this pathetic loser talking about?

I've seen virtually ZERO reference that's specifically about African-Americans, in ANY context.

Also, it would seem that this idiot assumes "anti-gay-marriage" automatically means "anti-gay", ignoring the fact that many gays are either lukewarm in their support for it, or even oppose it entirely.

"Gee folks, turns out I was wrong, the CBS memos actually ARE fake! Turns out Charles Johnson over at Little Green Footballs actually DID deserve that 15 minutes of fame for his neat little GIF. I'm sorry! I'll be more careful next time! Honest!"

Instead, we get: "LITTE GREEN FOOTBALLS IS FULL OF RACISTS, HOMOPHOBES, SADISTS, MISYGONISTS, NAZIS...and people who can tell the difference between a word processor and a typewriter when I couldn't...BUT THAT'S BESIDES THE POINT!!! THEY'RE FULL HATE, THEY'RE NASTY, THEY'RE MENTALLY ILL!!!"

TEL AVIV, Israel - Pop star Madonna (news - web sites) called for world peace Sunday at a conference on Jewish mysticism, a highlight of her five-day pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

AP Photo

Reuters Photo
Slideshow: Madonna

Israel hopes the star — the biggest pop celebrity to visit in years — will revive tourism battered by four years of Mideast violence, and government officials were on hand at a Tel Aviv hotel to share the spotlight, the glory and the photographs.

Madonna, wearing a green-and-white patterned dress, said she was hesitant to come to Israel "after seeing so many news reports about terror attacks."

"I realize now that it is no more dangerous to be here than it is to be in New York," she told the gathering.

Madonna was raised a Roman Catholic, but she has become an avid devotee of Jewish mysticism in recent years. She has adopted the Hebrew name Esther, wears a red thread on her wrist to ward off the evil eye and reportedly refuses to perform on the Jewish Sabbath.

Sterotyping is a terrible thing and the sign of a feeble mind. To lump all LGF'ers into one narrow definition, to say we're all Nazi, racist, bible kissing, anti-gay, republican loyalists, gun lovin' rednecks speaks volumes about the simpletons at blogs like that.

KOS should ask why so many Democrats (many former Democrats) are over here. The truth is LGF is populated by people of many hues and political beliefs, many religions and people from many countries. Why? Because we know the urgent situation facing us today.

And how dare they compare this site to Stormfront. That is an outrageous thing to say.

295 badanov  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 3:36:32pm

LGF is for mentally-ill sadists who live in the basement of Mom's house in the suburbs and own porn videos that feature the (simulated, hopefully) mutilation of women.

My mother and me live apart and I don;t have any porn.

It's for teenaged guys who read Soldier of Fortune and fantasize about spending their summers "slithering around on their bellies in Survivalist camps in Idaho."

I am 50 and I live in Oklahoma

It's for people who wished the Klan was still around and influential, for people who used to like David Duke but hate him now that he's sympathetic to Palestine, for people who thought the Columbine massacre was "a good thing that they wish they had been in on."

Huh?

In short: LGF is sicko-ville deluxe. And irredeemably so. This is Stormfront stuff.

So naturally you provide your readers with a link.

The LGF guys are the kind of guys who would think an AK-47 is the only answer to girls like "Carrie" from "Sex and the City."

No, I think the appropriate response to girls like "Sex in the City" is to whip out the credit card.

I once sold a house to a cute gay (male) couple. My friends who are mostly married women, mostly middle aged, professionals, stable and -- many of them -- terribly religious saw them when they came for a showing and -- after they bought -- tried to convince me I needed to put a bunch of hidden cameras in strategic locations before the new owners moved in.

Shocked ME and I'm hard to shock.

And I didn't put the cameras in. Illegal and all that.

Why no, Bob, it doesn't describe it accurately at all!

If you'd ever read it, you'd know that most of us are actually Lizardoid aliens, from the planet Andymedia. Our leader, the mighty lizard master Charles, hides out in Denver Airport, and has a fondness for cigars.

Not all of us are reptilian aliens, of course; I, myself, am a 1930's cartoon camel, with big, Betty Boop eyes and a bow tied behind my ears (Think Minnie Mouse, from early Disney.) I live in a nice little cartoon house, in Toonsville, and do not own any ponography, and have never read "Soldier of Fortune" magazine. I have no fondness for the Klan, and do not abuse Jews, blacks, gays, or anybody else.

I do own an Ak-47 however, and I have used it to blow away our TVset when the unspeakable Carrie Bradshaw's cross-eyed, big-nosed face with its mop of ratty yellow hair appears---but I assure you, this is merely a critical response to a show I consider a piece of dreck, and doesn't hurt Carrie Bradshaw (who isn't a real person, after all) or the actress who plays her---though it does tend to be rough on our TV's. However, my husband, Boris the Bactrian Kamel, is generous, and is always willing to buy another TV, after I blow up the old one. (I tend to lose control when "reality" shows come on, too.)

Anyway, Bob, I hope this clears things up for you!

Oh how typical! As soon as a leftie gets in a jam out come the epithets, Racist, homophobe, sexist, or some combination thereof. There needs to be an addendum to Godwin's Law or something.

I'm getting a little sick of lily-white lefties speaking on behalf of all minorities. I've never seen a single overtly anti-black post on LGF especially from a regular poster, but I'm willing to bet you can find plenty of disparaging if not openly racist comments about Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell, and/or Condi Rice at sites like Kos or DU.

312 adam_dc  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 4:23:26pm

While I vehemently disagree with Kos, I must say he is right...some of the comments on LGF are indeed blatanly "anti-Arab and anti-Muslim".

Look most reasonable people are neither extreme left/anti-American/anti-Bush--as some of Kos's patrons cheerily are, nor are they extreme bigots, like some LGFers. After reading a few of the posts, I am now turned off by the sampling of the "right" here.

313 zulubaby  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 4:23:49pm

kos's post begins as follows:

Michale Moore has big fans overseas.

Firstly, it's Michael, not Michale. By "big fans" does kos mean that Michale's fans are obese, like him? Further, what is it with the LLL's that they're so enamored with the Europeans? They're such plebs, more in awe of the French than even the French are with themselves. If kos hates the US so much, why doesn't he return his passport and go back to wherever it is that he came from. Or maybe he should move to Europe. I can't post there because kos only grants vampires permission to post on his shit blog so hopefully he'll read this thread. I wonder if binky is working on another deranged, sick rant masterpiece.

I am not too familiar with liberal sites, including the one "KOS". I read the background info on their site. It said that the site was named due to the admin person's nickname while in the military.

I am not too familiar with military terms. The only understanding of the term "KOS" stems from online games. There it means "Kill On Sight". Is that what KOS means? If it does, why would this guy call his site, "Kill On Sight"? Did he get that nickname by killing "people on sight" or is it some joke about killing on sight? Maybe someone here knows what it means.

Well, whatever it means, I am not too impressed with what I saw. The post from their site is childish and stereotyping. They preach free speech, differing viewpoints, etc but if you can't "walk the talk" then they just show themselves to be hypocrits. Stating that, "They are all poopy heads." is only used by children when they don't have enough experience or knowledge to discuss things effectively.

Dan Rather says he's sorry. My parents taught me that if someone apologizes sincerely, I should accept it and forgive them. I don't accept Rather's apology, it's not enough and it's not good enough.

I must admit that I usually gloss over the Powell criticism here at LGF. If you like Powell or not I feel that most of the criticism is somewhat unrealistic like the idea that Powell would be canned in a Bush IInd term. However, I haven't seen any LGF'ers lash out at Powell with racial epithets like we know several prominent lefties have done to Rice and Thomas.

345 azul93gt  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 5:14:00pm

I really don't know if Powell is doing a poor job at State because I don't know what Bush expects from him. As far as I know he's doing what is expected of him to show a public counter-balance to other elements of the Bush Admin. policies. (good cop, bad cop) Powell's position requires at least a public appearance of a more conciliatory or neutral position. I can see how an LGF'er would dislike this appearance, but this is the way the game is played as far as I can tell.

"I assume you're both ladies, so you've answered a question I've always had: do any women like gay male porn the way men like "lesbian" porn?"

Heck, yeah.

Not only is it an unbelievably thriving underground market, but you may entertain yourself by web surfing the following:

Slash

Slash fanfic

Yaoi

Shonen ai

An entire genre of comic books is devoted to gay fiction by women for women, only a lot of guys read it, too.

Isn't truth stranger than fiction?

By the way, some yahoo posted that LGF'ers were anti-Arab. Well, a handful might be, but most LGF'ers are anti-extremist Islam.

There are Jewish Arabs, Christian Arabs and poor Sunni Arabs who wouldn't hurt a fly. Why on Earth would LGF'ers have a problem with Coptic Christians who are Egyptian and Arab?

It seems to me that if the folks over at that other site were truly concerned with gay rights and women's rights, they would also be anti-extremist Islam a religion that also teaches that black people are born slaves and naturally subjugated to the Arab Muslim.

I couldn't possibly be anti-Arab. Som of those guys are hot. When they aren't KKKoran-thumpers, that is. No one likes a religious nutjob.

And why are some people over there in LLL land so quick to jump on Southern Crackers from Alabama for having goofy beliefs about the Bible, but if you point out goofy beliefs in Islam, you're just a hate-monger, hm?

And with all due respect, how does such a "reputable journalist" get duped so easily? How does a man whose been in the industry for decades fall for such blatant forgery? Rather's apology might have been acceptable a week ago. What's changed? Has he finally realised that the public know he's been BS-ing? Well that's not good enough. Anyone can apologise after they realise they've been sprung good and proper. At least El Pais and the union guys said 'sorry' the moment they got the chance...

There are better ways to cure that. Put in a glass:

- 1 ice-cube
- 5 cc of cane syrup
- the juice of one lime
- 20 cc of rum

Drink. Repeat medication until the symptoms disappear.

I prefer...

2 ice-cubes

2 oz. Balvenie 15yr Single Malt

Drink. Repeat as needed...

There have been too many policies/dicta emanating from State that have been unhelpful in the WoT. Whether Bush is deceptive by pushing these policies, or the professional dipples from our liberal universities are doing this on their own needs to be seriously explored. And somehow explained. I've been through a lot of political transformations in my life but I've always been relatively open-minded. I was a very vocal Democrat up until my senior year of high-school when the twin towers fell down.

When you're seeing 3000 people incinerated in front of you on live television, all the petty crap you used to argue politics about suddenly doesn't seem so important.

I am still and will always be an atheist, but I have the depth of knowledge to realize that Islam is the most right-wing, reactionary, mysogimistic religion on the planet. I used to be one of those Christian-hating atheists until I stopped and did an objective view of all the world's religions, trying to find the absolute worst ones. Islam won hands down, and were I living in an Islamic country, I would be put to death for apostacism.

Kind of puts things in perspective.

Oh yeah and I'm also very anti-KKK, anti-nazi, and pro gay rights. Somebody ought to get the memo to the Kossacks that the Nazis and KKK folks come in here just to troll these boards because of how pro-Israel this site is.

You beat me to it. Rather's only apologising because he got caught. He is symptomatic of leftist journalism - assume Bush is evil/idiotic and any evidence/BS story that comes along has to be correct. If it's faked, well, it's not too far from the truth, eh? Or not too far from what Dan Rather would like to believe... You can understand this kind of attitude from someone who only gets their news from Al-Guardian (i.e. most of the idiots I meet on a daily basis in the UK) but for a "reputable journalist" it's criminal...

& I'm sure lazytart's dead serious... Check the frontpage :)

361 zulubaby  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 5:33:12pm

lazytart, the world is going to have to realize that there is no reasoning with terrorists, there is no way to deal with them but to crush them. There is this theme with the dems that we are angering the terrorists and that if we just left them alone, they'd leave us alone. A lot of people have forgotten 9/11.

I was confused about this issue because I found this article through Best of the Web: Berg's father speaks for Kerry

"I received a phone call from John Kerry. It wasn't political, but personal. We received no phone calls from the White House. John Kerry will end this war and all of these atrocities."

--

"I challenge anyone deep in your hearts to realize that Kerry isn't like Bush," said Berg. "Bush is like Saddam Hussein. Bush condones rape and murder, and does it with a wink of an eye. Bush says he does it in the name of economic policy.

"John Kerry decried rape, murder and genocide while he was in Vietnam. If you think John Kerry will end this war too soon, I say 'too soon for what?' It'll save our sons and daughters.

"I can't afford a third party vote. This time, there is only one issue, justice in foreign policy. Vote for John Kerry - I'm going to."

Besides the fact that the man is clearly deranged, I thought to myself, what is he talking about, Kerry isn't going to end the war. The thing is, Kerry is so unpredictable that I'm not sure even he knows what is going to come out of his mouth next. He stands for nothing.

Rick,

My point is that I don't think that we're privy to know if in fact Powell is at odds with with the over-all policy of the Bush admin or if other factors are at play. For better or for worse I doubt if Powell is in danger of being removed.

365 zulubaby  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 5:42:46pm

RickZ, LOL, Judge Judy would tell him his fortune for free.

lazytart, isn't it unbelievable that this is the best the dems can come up with? I can't stop thinking about that. In this country, with all the brilliant and dynamic people out there, this is their representative?

Dagenham, Rather is still insisting that the essence of the memos is true, even if the memos themselves are fraudulent documents. He's decided that what was stated in those forgeries is the truth, and this is supposed to be acceptable? If Rather can't tell the story honestly, even if it contrary to his own beliefs, then he has no business being a journalist. The same goes for any journalist but Dan Rather has been a trusted and respected anchor for decades. How dare he do this? It's an insult to all of us.

367 templar  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 5:46:44pm

Greatings to all my fellow LGFers,

For Kos's information, I'm a molecular biologist at a Big Ten University. While I am in fact white (Scotch-Irish descent from a family thats been here since before the Revolutionary War) I am not and never have been a member of the Klan (I had never heard of Stormfront until Kos brought them up...way to share the love there Kos). I do not believe the violent deaths of homosexuals, women, or minorities (half the people in my lab are from out of the country). On my wall I have a Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (1944), an M1 Garand (1943), a Moissan-Nagant Model 1890, a 1933 Turkish Mauser, and a K31 Swiss bolt action (1950). I have never used them to shoot at animals or people. But then again, I don't watch Sex in the City, or Friends for that matter. There is something about unappealing about shows concerning thirty year olds acting like junior high students.

368 azul93gt  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 5:50:43pm

This guy is sick.

"I challenge anyone deep in your hearts to realize that Kerry isn't like Bush," said Berg. "Bush is like Saddam Hussein. Bush condones rape and murder, and does it with a wink of an eye. Bush says he does it in the name of economic policy.

Firstly "economic policy?"

Secondly If I follow Mr Berg's logic, since his son was purportedly in favor of Bush's policies and was supposedly in Iraq in furtherance of Bush's policies, and Bush's policies according to Mr. Berg are murderous then I'm left to conclude that Mr. Berg's son's 'execution' must have been justified according to Mr. Berg.

369 Portia  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 5:56:02pm

Mr. Berg is a member of ANSWER which was a communist front in the old cold war days and now is... a communist front, plus whatever it is that communists have going with the islamofacists (never seen an ideology so enamored of dictators -- any dictators. Or perhaps they view it as an ally in the fight to bring down western democracy. Who knows?)

This is spoken by a man who saw the USSR tumble down, withstood the revelations of what really went on behind the iron curtain and still remained one of the party faithful.

So, you must evaluate anything he says in that light.

Y'know, LGF and dKos say exactly the same things about each other--this post here on LGF, as well as the other froth-at-the-mouth posts on dKos, don't mean shit. The ad hominems fly as furiously here as they do over there, or vice versa, wherever you want the emphasis to be. dKos is mildly insane at the moment, but there're those who try to inject sanity. I can't really make judgement here, cos I'm a visiting guest, but I'll go out on a limb and say that trolls are stomped and the rest of you...are just plain pissed.

Answering some other random comment:

Kerry was, to paraphrase, all for getting the President to take a big stick to the UN so as to the support of, hopefully, the rest of the world or at least the US allies. By this I do mean after the French and Russians started in with the naysaying. If he disagreed with Bush after that, well, ain't nothing wrong with changing your mind, is there?

No, I didn't, maybe I'm a little slow. Maybe I should just read the comments upthread, but hell I'm lazy. Thanks for repeating previous sentiments.

Don't ask me about Gulf War I, but the point is no one was certain that Saddam had WMDs, which is why the inspectors were sent in, and I agree that they probably wouldn't have turned up anything conclusive, but yanking them wasn't exactly the right way to go about it. Also, if Saddam had/has WMDs, where the hell are they? No one's found any so far. Like I said, I believe Kerry wasn't for the war in and of itself, but for gathering the rest of the world to get Saddam to come clean and stuff, and his point is that Saddam is an asshole, but the US didn't have to gungho storm the whole freaking place. And y'know, I can't help but agree.

I don't have to prove it. It's not a court of law. It's my opinion, and the opinion of most others on this site. I'm sick and tired of having to "prove things". I don't care if there "were no WMD", or if "war is a bad thing", or if some believe "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter" (which KOS certainly does). I'm sick and tired of nuance and debate about essential things like the survival of our very country. I couldn't care less if people want to debate whether or not we should start really getting tough on terrorism, or if we even should call it terrorism. I'm sick and tired of Leftists labeling patriots as "Nazis". I don't think it's up for debate and I don't really care what KOS, or any other regular commentator on his site thinks on those issues. They support Michael Moore who describes beheaders of innocent civilians as "Minutemen" and hail them as heroes. They're not heroes. They're sick assholes who deserve to get shot up in a violent and extremely prejudiced way. It isn't a point of debate for me.

That makes me extreme, I know. That's just too bad. I happen to want to win this war. I want to do to the "insurgents" what we did to Dresden. I don't care if some people think it's "wrong". People who think that it's "wrong" to kick your enemy's ass are "wrong". People on KOS think that it's "wrong" to kick your enemy's ass, so they are "wrong".

KOS is a "progressive" which means he likes to turn back the clock and live in a cave. That makes him "stupid" and "wrong". KOS supports the "Palestinian Arab Cause" which means that he wants another six million Jews to face the very real prospect of getting wiped out in the first attack wave from the borders of a new Palestinian state. KOS supports the killing of contractors in Iraq because he thinks they're "mercenaries", which makes him "wrong".

KOS, and all his followers, are idiots who actually trust the United Nations to do "what's right".

That alone makes them "wrong".

That's judgemental of me, I know. I actually judge things. That's so...un-liberal of me. Cry for me. Feel my pain.

toonman, RickZ, I was asking about Jayson Blair because I wanted to know if there was ever a situation where the media went after one of their own. The Rather forgery will only stay news if the media decides that it should.

#380 zulubaby

What toonman said.

The NYTimes is print. They fall squarely under the First Amendment and outside of libel laws, they can pretty much say what they want.

CBS on the other hand, is granted a license by the FCC, and is regulated because they broadcast over the "public airwaves." They are legally bound to FCC statutes.

Add to that mix, now, the McCain/Feingold byzantine crappola. We are within the 60 day window before an election in which "attack" ads are banned, but a "news" organization can still report "news." Yeah..forged documents are "news" alright.

Third can of worms: Bill at INDC Journal discusses the relevant TEXAS statutes that might apply:

Section 37.10 of the Penal Code
TAMPERING WITH GOVERNMENTAL RECORD

(a) A person commits an offense if he:
~ ~ (1) knowingly makes a false entry in, or false alteration of, a governmental record;
~ ~ (2) makes, presents, or uses any record, document, or thing with knowledge of its falsity and with intent that it be taken as a genuine governmental record;
... [etc.]

Sec. 32.21. of the Penal Code
FORGERY. (a) For purposes of this section:
~ ~ (1) "Forge" means:
~ ~ ~ (A) to alter, make, complete, execute, or authenticate any writing so that it purports:
...
~ (b) A person commits an offense if he forges a writing with intent to defraud or harm another. [etc.]

And I'm also on the lookout for the Killian family to file a lawsuit against CBS.

The fat lady hasn't even warmed up yet.

From what you say, you were right to make that comment and someone ought to've backed you up. P'raps I ought to offer an apology for whatever nuts those were (haha lookit me, god I'm full of it), but I do assure you that...there are better people than that over there.

No equivalency? I beg to differ--as I said, they have exactly the same opinions of you as you do of them. Why's that, do you know? I swear I'm not being sarcastic, it's just that I've been in enough flamewars to know that the catalyst was usually some fucking stupid event in the first place (double apologies to anyone offended by that, in case anyone here doesn't like cussing). I don't know, lots of folks over there say they've been banned off here too. But the way I see it, LGF certainly hasn't lived up to its rep of being murderous hate-mongering soandsos, because I'm still here commenting, aren't I? But if my word counts for anything at all: dKos isn't any worse--or better, either--than here. They have debate, people do agree to disagree. There're madshits there, but what was the Kathryn Cramer death/rape threats story here? (Secondhand info, yes, but that's exactly my point.)

The rest of your post is dangerously personal; I'm not telling you how to write'em, but I thought that I should say why I'm not responding to all of it.

Don't ask me about Gulf War

Why not?

but the point is no one was certain that Saddam had WMDs

BS. He had 'em, used 'em, and we found some of 'em. Not all of 'em, because some of 'em are in Syria, or have been used by Syria in the Sudan. But some are still there, and we'll find 'em.

the inspectors were sent in, and I agree that they probably wouldn't have turned up anything conclusive, but yanking them wasn't exactly the right way to go about it.

Huh? Saddam kicked out the inspectors for what three years? Then, when the inspectors went back in there were so many conditions on where they could go and on what notificiation timetable and what they could NOT inspect (all those Oil-For-Food palaces), that there was no way in hell they were going to get anything accomplished.

No one's found any so far.

Very wrong.

I can tell. Saddam, at that moment in time, was an aggressive threat, gathering force, and in violation of the Cease fire Agreement. While Iran and NK have become worse and taken over the next spot in line as far as the US is concerned, Saddam was THE threat when he threw out the weapons inspectors that he had agreed to in the Gulf War I Cease Fire Agreeement (sorry, but you cannot ignore Gulf War I).

Look, we're all sick and tired of this huge fucking mess that the political state is in, but that's why we fucking adhere to the customs and civilities to prevent all the damn chaos from happening (happening more than it already is, at least).

I am not, will not, and cannot judge you for being, eh, "judgemental". Let me make that clear. But.

War is a bad thing. If there're no WMDs, why the hell have the bloody war in the first place? Iraqis aside, those are American troops dying out there. War isn't the first option, it's the last damn resort.

I do disagree with it not being a point of debate for you. What, then, you'd stuff the war and everything else down our throats? I don't think so, bucko.

I don't damn trust the UN either, but there are OTHER WAYS to do things besides opening war.

Um... we don't need "proof" that the memos are forgeries.

Little analogy. Someone send me a picture of what the person says is the real Mona Lisa painting to "prove" they have the picture. Now, obviously I cannot "authenticate" the pic, but I can state categorically it is fake if it looks this.

There are serious questions about the memo. That means those people who present them as authentic have the responsibility to prove it. Not vice versa.

In a court of law, the burden of proof rests with the People, the ones making the accusation. Dan Rather/CBS made an accusation against President Bush and waved fraudulent documents as "proof" of their allegations. It is up to them to authenticate the evidence. That they have now backed off demonstrates their culpibility in perpetuating a fraud on the American people and, minimally, libel against a sitting President in a time of war and during an election cycle.

That's criminal.

Ok, prove it. Give me a plausible (do look up the word if the concept escapes you) alternative to war that also removes Saddam as head of Iraq.

I think everybody is missing the point of what Kos is saying here.

Read his words IN CONTEXT. What are the women like Carrie in Sex and the City?

They are modern, liberated, sexually active women.

They speak their minds and are not subservient to men.

Now, picture Kos's mindset about the kind of woman a knuckle-dragging neanderthal right-wing gun nut would think is perfect.

'Carrie' does not fit it.

What Kos is saying, is that when you right wing, sadistic, homophobic, anti-feminist guys met a girl like Carrie, you will think an AK-47 is the only answer to dealing with her.

In other words, he's saying you'd shoot her.

Thanks. I honestly did not know. A few people in my office do the online games and those games are the only place I heard KOS used. It did not click about the name but now is a lot more obvious after being pointed out.

414 Stinky  Mon, Sep 20, 2004 9:42:13pm

This Kos fellow needs to view non-Leftists that way. It rationalizes his own extreme opinions and his own unwillingness to debate the issues. He can just issue a blanket issue, wipe his hands clean, "And that's the end of THAT", and go about promoting his ludicrious, ill thought out, corrupt socialist/moral equivalent/pro PLO agenda. He doesn't have to prove centralized planning, he doesn't have to prove the validity of the PLO, he doesn't have to explain the inconsistency in "universal" moral relativism, he can just ad hominem till his heart's content.

What a worthless, blind, clueless human being. If this is the Left, Thank God. It's the reverse for us, we're the ones able to dismiss him w/ a flick of the wrist because he doesn't propose anything, any solution to the War on Terror, any solution to education, any solution to illegal immigration. All he is, is hatred and stupidity. Although it may get a rise out of us, make our blood boil, we should just start to wear their insults like badges of honor. If he is this stupid when it comes to knowledge of world history and economics, then is it not a complement to be hated by such a buffoon?

If the Left is like this for the next 30 years, then they will take themselves off the political spectrum, and do the country a favor. A sweet, consiliatory Leftist who can sugar up the populace is more dangerous than a ludicrous mud slinger who just looks fucking stupid w/ his irrational, easily refutable accusations. WE'RE the ones who want to AK-47 a liberated woman? WTF is he doing then sticking up for the Radical Islamofascist movement in Palestine and Iraq, whose members REALLY DO want to AK-47 a Carrie from Sex in the City? He really is that freaking stupid.

LGF is one of the most non-right wing "Right wing" sites I've been to--which is good, because you get more original opinions than at a FreeRepublic or similair tow-the-GOP-party-line site. I'd wager at least half, if not moreso, of the regulars on this site (including the owner) are former Democrats, who probably still agree with decent chunks of the Democratic Party platform (although hopefully they're learning ;-). That, more than anything, is probably what pisses off KingOfShit, because he knows that if former Democrats can sell the Bush Doctrine, the Left is crushed.

King...Of...Shit.

For one thing, I happen to be a big fan of both LGF and Sex and the City, so that doesn't fit his narrow little wordview.

As for the rest of his "profiling" - sorry, doesn't fit either

As for slithering around on bellies - isn't that exactly what Jean-Francois Kerry said was one of the enjoyable aspects of deer hunting?

As for hatemongering - the lefties are masters of it - meanwhile, when you know someone hates you, it's a very difficult thing not to hate back - a difficulty which, by the way, is at the heart of Christianity.

Perhaps he is trying to get CBS to notice him for an anchor spot?

428 sonofdad  Tue, Sep 21, 2004 8:15:37am

This is a totally misleading link title. Michael Moore is not in Iraq pushing the play button for GI's, this is our men and women watching a movie of their own choosing. GI's are exercising their right to select which movies they watch, in between being shot at-Charles has a problem with this since he does not agree with that choice.

I think I know what has happened. The GI's judgment has become clouded-maybe all the mortar attacks, extended deployments, roadside bombs, dead friends and civilians have rendered their judgment invalid. I'm sure they have no idea what they are doing-and really shouldn't be thinking for themselves...(sarcasm).

Perhaps if they were in Charles' office, their judgment would be clearer. They could see, staring at a computer screen, what they so obviously don't get by "only" being in Iraq. Read the linked story-real people expressing opinions about something Charles has zero experience with.

Charles sitting at a computer, telling people what soldiers should be watching...now that's entertaining.

evilstorm;

"Also, if Saddam had/has WMDs, where the hell are they? No one's found any so far."

My son-in-law was a tank commander with the 1st Marines/1st Tanks during the Operation Iraqi Freedom. He told me a story about an Iraqi Colonel who surrendered his entire command without a shot. He was sick of Saddam, and the final straw came when a Republican Guard commander came to hime and ordered some of his troops to take several trucks filled with 55 gallon barrels out into the desert and bury them. These men were summarily executed, so they could not tell anyone where the trucks were buried. I have absolutely no documentation for this (perhaps I could ask CBS for some?), so this is strictly anecdotal. The point is, having given Saddam over three months notice to remove his WMD (prior to Mr. Blix and his incompetent inspections), any and/or all of the WMD kept in storage (including nuclear devices) could have been shipped to Syria or buried in the desert.

The simple fact that we haven't found any WMD in light of the ease in which they could have been removed or destroyed doesn't surprise me. It's the equivilent of calling someone a cheat at cards, then leaving the table to go to the bathroom. Where will the evidence be when you get back?

I just went to that site and I am fuming about how they wrote that people at LGF are racist, homophobic...etc. As my handle states, I live in L.A. I have to hear these stereotypes all too often.

They say - Consersatives are racist. But which party is it that keeps treating non-whites like they can't handle doing things without a lot of help?

They say - They never judge. Maybe not about what tools they stick in their orifices. But, if you choose to stay home with your kid..your a gold-digging simpleton. (They just judge on different issues.)

They say - Democrats/Liberals are the compassionate party. Yeah, compassion for terrorists, genocidal dictators, pedophiles...I could go on, on and on.

They say - They believe in free speech. Oh, is that why when I voiced my opinion at a party in L.A., I had a Liberal stick her head between her knees and moan, "I need to leave now. I can't hear anymore."

They say - Conservatives are brainwashed by Fox news. It's the only news that has a modicum of optimism and doesn't ridicule every move President Bush makes. Do they hate Fox for being the only televsion news channel than doesn't parrot the others?

And if the Liberals are all such individual thinkers why is it that they get nearly orgasmic over Michael Moore's sunny depiction of Saddam's Iraq? Why do they all screech about oil, Halliburton...their mantras are all the same. Have they taken the time to turn off KPFK or NPR to talk to an Iraqi, an ex-Cuban citizen who risked their lives to leave or a person from South Vietnam? Have they challenged their professors?

Give me a break!!!

Thanks for revealing that you're an idiot. CBS are pawns but not in the "Blog War." They're pawns to the DNC.

No matter what "counterproofs" your boy offered he was wrong, which is something most competent people recognized at first exposure to the forgeries. I'm going to go so far as to say that this Kos character knew that those memos were forgeries but thought he could help facilitate the hoax because he knew how Dem hopes were invested in this smear campaign.

Thanks for that, Freekeys.

I just sent another package to Operation Gratitude this week.

My next package will include hundreds of copies of fliers that I will print at my own expense, taken from the websites discrediting Moore's propaganda.

That our own people would be sending our own troops Moore's filthy lies makes about as much sense as our own people financing Tokyo Rose in 1944.

PS.

Just a correction for accuracy.

Kos did not write the screed linked to at the Daily Kos above.

It was written by someone named 'Bink'.

Kos may concur, but he didn't write it.

I'll take the blame for that, since Charles most likely picked up on my posting on September 19 in which I failed to point out that the accusations came from the Daily Kos website but not from Mr. Marcos "Kos" Zuniga himself.

Apologies to all.
