Wed, Oct 27, 2004 at 4:51:18 pm PDT

Yasser Arafat isn’t just sick—he’s in critical condition.

And may already be dead.

Had it not been for a scream and an endorsement from Al Gore, something like 4 out of 10 Americans would now be voting for Howard Dean.
Scary, especially when you think about whom their going to vote for instead.

I thought of that, too. But it means that perhaps they'll leave Israel alone for a while. At the very least, a few splodey-dopes will be gone from the internal power struggle.

I hiope the Palis have a toxic waste permit before disposing of his remains.

I wonder what the form of disposal will be. Probably end up being a corpse swarm. After all, it was nice of the Iranians to open the viewing of Khomeini's remains to the world by tumbling him out of his coffin like excited beetles.

What happens if Arafish lets it be known that he wants to be buried in Jerusalem? Can Sharon say no? If so, what level of violence does that bring?

OT

I just got this good news email from the Swift Vets:

"We did it! Thanks to wonderful citizens such as you, we have raised enough money to get our message into Pennsylvania. Our ads started playing this morning.

The importance of this cannot be understated. We have obtained an email from the Kerry campaign which proves his campaign has been actively blocking the ability of the POWs to have their video Stolen Honor played. Three different venues have been booked in the Philadelphia area, and in each instance, the facility cancelled after various threats. It just seems so unfair to us that a man like Michael Moore can readily have his video viewed, but men who were imprisoned for several years by the Vietnamese, such as Congressional Medal of Honor winner Bud Day, would be blocked from the same activity.

You can now view this video by going to [Link: www.StolenHonor.com...]

Though a number of organizations have approached us about purchasing our contributor list, we want you to know that all information about donors to Swift Vets and POWs for Truth will be kept private, as stated in the Privacy Policy we have provided on our web site.

We will keep you posted. And, thank you again for your help."

The wonderful modernity of shari'a law rears its lovely head once again:
Nigerian girl sentenced to be stoned to death for adultery appeals her sentence. Naturally, her boyfriend was set free and will suffer no punishment:

DASS, Nigeria Oct 27, 2004 — Lawyers for a woman sentenced to death by stoning for allegedly committing adultery asked an Islamic court in northern Nigeria on Wednesday to overturn the verdict, and the judge said he would issue a ruling in two weeks.

Hajara Ibrahim's lawyers appealed the sentence at the Upper Shariah Court in the rural town of Dass, 25 miles south of the state capital, Bauchi.

Judge Mohammed Mustapha Umar said he would rule on the appeal on Nov. 10.

Ibrahim, now 18 years old and seven months pregnant, was convicted of adultery on Oct. 5 by an Islamic court in the remote town of Lere, Bauchi state, located in Nigeria's predominantly Muslim north.

On Wednesday, Ibrahim's lawyer Adbullahi Suleiman argued for the conviction to be overturned because Ibrahim was never married and, therefore, could not be guilty of adultery.

"There was no evidence she was once married," Suleiman told The Associated Press at the end of the proceedings.

Under the version of Islamic Shariah law in effect in parts of northern Nigeria, sex outside wedlock is considered adultery if one of the partners is or has ever been married. If neither partner was ever married, then it is condemned as "fornication," punishable by whipping.

While Ibrahim was sentenced on account of her pregnancy, the man she says impregnated her was freed for lack of evidence.

More details here:

Nigerian teen appeals stoning
27/10/2004 17:26  - (SA)
Dass, Nigeria - A pregnant Nigerian teenager appeared before an Islamic court on Wednesday to hear her lawyer launch an appeal against her conviction for adultery, for which she was sentenced to be stoned to death.

Hajara Ibrahim, 18, sat quietly in a makeshift cubicle in the simple one-storey hall housing the Upper Sharia Court in Dass to hear her counsel challenge a ruling that she should be publicly flogged and put to death.

The lawyer argued that the 8 October judgment was invalid because Hajara had not consummated her marriage before sleeping with her boyfriend and conceiving a child and was thus innocent of the capital crime of adultery.

OT -- magical Muslim thinking at Reuters

In their latest story of the travails of poor Margaret Hassan, the Iraq CARE director, Reuters reports that the new tape calls for Care International employees to end their operations in Iraq.

Reuters cannot say that, probably because it does not fit into the liberal script that our enemies want what's good for the Iraqi people. They cannot say Hassan calls for Care to leave. They cannot say the kidnappers call for Care to leave. In an apparent example of the state of denial so prevalent in Islam, Reuters blames the bad news on the television set:

... Al Jazeera said Hassan appealed to British Prime Minister Tony Blair (news - web sites) to withdraw troops from Iraq and not deploy them in Baghdad.

The television said Hassan also asked Care International employees to end their operations in Iraq

Middle East

PART 2: The US-Israel tag-team act
By Ehsan Ahrari

PART I: The enemy beyond

As the US presidential election campaign is coming to a close and Iraq continues to burn, another dangerous diplomatic tussle is taking place: the United States and Israel are acting as a tag-team against the potential emergence of Iran as a nuclear power. The stakes are high in this tussle. At a minimum, that tag-team will make sure that Iran never emerges as a regional power, challenging the hegemonies of the US and Israel. At worst, the intention of this tag-team is to prepare grounds for a regime change of a different type - not necessarily through military invasion, but by taking concerted actions to weaken the Islamic government of Iran so much that it is ousted from within.

First--Could we make sure he is really dead? I mean, wouldn't it be nice to just flatten his compound just to make sure? That would be cool.

Second and OT--I am in Tom Delay's 22 District in Texas. Yesterday, out of the blue, I received an email from Morrison, who is running against him. It turns out that Morrison bought my email address and my home address from Advocacy Inc.

This company buys voter registration records and then bought my information from EQUIFAX or Best Buy(whom I have NEVER given permission to send my info to anyone) ran a database cross check and figured out my home address, driver's license number, my prior voting record in primaries, and attached it to my email address and is selling this info to anyone who wants it. I opt OUT of everything. How is this legal? As crazy as some of the left has become, a little anthrax or ricin in a letter to a person who votes consistently Republican seems like the next step, and here is a company that is making it very easy to get everyone's names right over the internet.

I called this company, and they said it was legal, but then practically hung up on me when I tried to ask additional questions (even though I was polite).

Disclaimer: I found this doing a google search for images. I swear. Arafat's Natal Chart

I believe that the exalted Taurus Moon better depicts Yassar Arafat, than the Leo or other chart Moon does, and it is his Moon that sustains him. I therefore take the August 27, 1929 chart.
When we consider the lengthy period he has been confined, only that Moon could have endured this. His exalted Venus in Cancer (1st house) rules this Moon, and Venus houses are the 11th (friends) and 4th (home/country).
His Jupiter, even though it is in detriment, is also in his 11th house, and is stronger than indicated. (check out his progressed Jupiter to progressed Sun!!)
Will he come through this? His progressed Ascendant is at 18 Virgo... the Solar eclipse will square that point... but his progressed MC is at 18 Gemini, which puts that June 10 Solar eclipse there as well. We could see Arafat coming out of this as a hero... or if he is killed, certainly he will go down in history as a martyr. I'm going for the former. I sort of like to try and see the positive side of eclipses, although this one certainly doesn't make that easy.

Last report sounded like he had sepsis. Hospitalization and massive doses of IV antibiotics were in order. Oh, well, he didn't want to leave the compound...

If his problem is gastrointestinal, he probably had a gallstone ileus (mechanical obstruction of the small, or more rarely, the large intestine caused by a large gallstone lodging in the intestinal lumen) or acute cholecystitis (sudden blockage of the gallbladder from stone that can lead to bacterial infection and perforation).

Otherwise, he may have had a simple stroke.

In any case, I offer here a prayer for Mr. Ara-fart:

"Shema Yisrael, Adonoi, Elohenu, Adonoi Echad"

I hope he likes it.

"Apparently, the under-the-radar phone calls and rumor mills have begun. While a sign of desperation by John Kerry and the Democratic Party, they can be effective. The only way that the Republican Party can respond to these malicious calls is if we---the grassroots---let the Party know about them.

The shame of it is he gets to die peacefully in bed; his thousands of victims, from US Ambassador Cleo Noel to little Shalevet Pas were not as fortunate.

His was an evil life that sliced down the lives of many others.

He was thief.
He was a liar.
He was a murderer.
He was a Nazi in his youth.
He broke every treaty he ever signed.
He was a communist agent as a young man.
He created the need for airline security.
He sent terrorists to the Olympics.
He led his people to four successive defeats in war.
He killed or intimidated his opponents.
His election was rigged against a 78 year old woman.

He was many things, none good.

Inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency visited the Mittelwerke during the past week and report that the site is not under guard by US troops and that all V-2s have been removed.
The discovery of the missing rockets comes despite repeated denials from Bush Administration officials that any V-2s have fallen into the hands of terrorists."

Wrong (I think). It puts Kerry in a bind. If he says something about negative about Arafat it hurts him with the Arab vote. If it's positive, it hurts him with the Jewish vote (think Florida). Eventually, it will be non-descript, and it will be viewed as yet another "nuanced" position.

Bush has a much easier time. He has been critical of Arafat all along, and won't get much of the Arab vote anyway. He can easily say something like: "Hopefully, a new leadership committed to fighting terror can now arise".

BTW VX is SO BAD you would wish it could be Un-invented.

Since VX and sarin are both nerve agents, they have similar effects on the body. But VX is about a hundred times more deadly than sarin when absorbed through the skin and about twice as deadly when inhaled. Moreover, sarin is volatile, evaporates at about the same rate as water, and is deadliest when inhaled, while VX is oil-based, extremely adhesive, and long lasting.

Kenneth posted it on a previous thread.

Weapons Cache Stuns Cannucks

In the dusty foothills, 10 minutes drive from Camp Julien (population 2,000), 82 buried bunkers, each 20- metres long, housed thousands of Soviet FROG missiles (one step down from Scud missiles), and every variety of rocket and mortar shells. . .

"Unbelievable!" was Maj. Brian Hynes' reaction when he saw them. "We (troops of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF)) have been here some two years, and no one knew this was at our back door. Unbelievable." . . .

Littered with burned out Soviet military vehicles, the whole area is a junk pile strewn with every sort of live ammunition, fuses, unexploded shells, rockets, etc., all supposedly under the authority of Belgian troops (at the moment), who ignored it.

You'll love the "up yours _sshole" treatment the Canadian combat engineers give the Belgian General as they secure the area.

---This is the deepest level of hell, where the fallen angel Satan himself resides. His wings flap eternally, producing chilling cold winds that freeze the thick ice found in Cocytus. The three faces of Satan, black, red, and yellow, can be seen with mouths gushing bloody foam and eyes forever weeping, as they chew on the three traitors, Judas, Brutus, and Cassius. This place is furthest removed from the source of all light and warmth. Sinners here are frozen deep in the ice, faces out, eyes and mouths frozen shut. Traitors against God, country, family, and benefactors lament their sins in this frigid pit of despair.

Unless they bury him in Israel, which is highly unlikely, I can't imagine any world leader or head of state being there.

Who will garantee their safety?

Eclipse is looking pretty cool from here.

I don't think Arafat deserves to die on the eclipse. His supporters will only use it as a "glorious sign of his passing". He needs to suffer until tomorrow.

Hallucinations? Yeah, the old shitbag of a Hitler wannabe is probably ordering imaginary Panzer divisions over the Green Line.

As pleased as I am to see old stinkfoot buy the farm, a part of me wishes he could have suffered horribly until Nov. 2 and then croaked. If Duyba loses (perish the thought), it would have been a consolation. If Bush wins, then Arafat's death on the same day would be the whipped cream on the hot fudge sundae. (Plus, since the Arabs are so big on "signs" and "omens," a double-whammy on the same day would be a great "sign" - "Hey, Palis, you can stick your ass up in the air 5 or 50 times a day - Allah still doesn't like you! Bush is drawing air and Yassir is food for worms! What does that tell you?"

BTW, I expect Arafat will take a few Palis with him - the ones who have to remove his socks and underclothes will certainly die of the stench.

Of course Jimmah will be in mourning. Hey, maybe Yassir will help Bush get reelected. If Carter hotfoots it over there to attend the Arafish funeral, it might help people remember just who it is the Democrats consider to be a "statesman." And there will probably be a few LLL's who will be so depressed by this news, they'll take to their beds for a week and forget to vote:-)

The best hospitals between Arafat and Boston are at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, but they will not treat him, although they have treated thousands of Palestinians for free. They do not want to be blamed when he dies.

Arafat goes to a fortune teller and asks: "On what day will I die?"

The fortune teller said: "It will be on a Jewish Holiday."

Arafat said: "Which one? Rosh Ha'Shonah? Yom Kippur?"

The fortune teller said: "I do not know, but what ever day you die, that day will be a Jewish Holiday."

Not sure I get your point here. Missing a story is not the same as reporting a false story, but you are certainly justified in waiting to see how it all pans out.

There is no definitive proof yet on the story of the weapons being smuggled, but it sure fits. It makes more sense than every intelligent agency in the world getting it wrong (I am exagerating here a tad when I say EVERY). I tend to trust Bush, the Pentagon, and the troops. I don't trust the French, Russia, Saddam, or Syria. But that is just my thinking.

I look forward to the final results of the investigation. I wonder why the DoD is holding back on releasing the satellite footage of the trucks moving from this site. COuld it be that they know we will want to know where the trucks went? How strained would world relations be if we expose even more corruption from members of the UN. France and Russia were on the take- of course they would help do this!

Just my 2 cents.

"I cringe whenever I hear some idiot say that the Middle east crisis must be resolved first, because no "crisis" can be resolved when one side wants eternal war, genocide or at least ethnic cleansing."

That's right.

And if Kerry is elected, that's just what Kerry will say: the Middle East crisis must be resolved first (by which he means that pressure will be applied against Israel).

There are 2 main schools of thought regarding defeating terrorism (apart from swatting down terrorists, whack-a-mole style): drain the swamp (help reformers make the Arab world and the Muslim world more democratic and more free and more peace-loving); versus "solve" the Israeli-Pali dispute (more pressure on Israel for concessions that threaten Israel's security and vital interests).

Bush's approach is drain-the-swamp. Kerry rejects that. What's left is the pressure-Israel approach, advocated by the Arab world, the Muslim world, the Euros -- and that Europhile Kerry and his foreign policy adviser Holbrooke.

Ara-sleeps-with-the fishes was eating soup at 8PM and then vomited, collapsed and fell into unconsciousness.

This explains everything. Arafat heard that Jewish chicken soup with matzos cures everything, and was so desperate to feel better that he had some smuggled in from Katz's Deli in West Jerusalem.

No, Katz didn't poison the soup. He didn't have to. The secret rule about Jewish Chicken Soup with Matzos (which I, as a goy member of ZOG am privy to) is that it only makes you feel better if you're a mensch.

If you're an evil, murdering, festering sore on the butt of humanity, chicken soup turns into molden lead and makes your guts explode.

ten minutes from their base of 2,000 men.

82 count them - Eighty two 20 meter long bunkers of russian Frog missiles, mortars, and rockets of every concievable type, wide open, unlocked and unguarded, many of em looted,
Under the Authority of the Belgians.

The Canadian Major's phrase was "unbelievable""To me, that's incompetence." ; his Sgt.s phrase was "To me it's criminal," said Sgt. Power, who works with the major in training the ANA.

In the midst of examining the bunkers and taking photos, a Swedish UN guy, a French major and a German colonel arrived to make a fuss and order the Canadians to leave. The French major insisted his government had a deal with the Afghan government for the area, and ISAF had no business being there.

This cut little ice with Maj. Hynes, who is responsible -- not to the commander of Camp Julien, Col. Jim Ellis -- but to the ANA, which has now moved in to secure the site.

The French major was clearly bluffing, hadn't checked the bunkers and got a classic Canadian roasting from Maj. Hynes -- who was supported by a German general who was also appalled at the laxity.

"Now we've stirred up the hornet's nest," grinned Maj. Hynes. "Good. Now we may get some action."

"I feel foolish that for eight days we've been watching our front, when at our back all this was going on and nobody cared," said Sgt. Mazerolle.

Has anyone considered this is merely a ploy to grab headlines away from Castro? I mean, Castro falls, breaks 2 bones, and gets instant headlines. Maybe he figured puking up dinner and blacking out would get the insane-dictator-of-the-year spotlight shining back on him. Just sayin'...

Incidentally, in the event that this is not a ploy, I predict a massive street wailing frenzy at 10 AM eastern time on Thursday.

Hmmm... the fall of Castro; Arafat toes up; Bosox poised to win it all; and a total lunar eclipse... Coincidence?

From Debka:

"...Palestinian Authority officials in Ramallah say it’s all over. Their colleagues are gathering from all over, arguing over rumor that Arafat authorized Qureia, Abbas and Zaanoun to officiate as PA heads during his indisposition..."

This actually might not be a bad idea, a triumvirate, to run the Palestinian area. That way if only a majority wins the vote, the resolutions will always get passed, one way or another. And the majority will have made the choice; and with Queria and Massan, strong men each in their way without Arafat around although, no doubt, corrupt. The story is that Abu Mazen lives in a $1.5 million dollar (US) home in Gaza. How many of you live in a $1.5 million home?

Perhaps each will pull equally and Palestine will finally go down the middle...or then again, it may not. Actually, add a couple more well-respected Palestinians and have a Council of five. The key would be to have an odd number to prevent stalemates.

Of course, it will never happen but it would be in their best interest to do something like that and start to move forward after Arafat's funeral and mourning period are over.

So Arafat may be history - good riddance.

But be careful what you wish for. Arafat, it seems to me, is (or was) motivated by greed, lust for power, love of political intrigue, and other rather petty concerns. They've had a pretty awful impact on the world, admittedly.

But who will replace him? A Hamas or Islamic Jihad fanatic? To me, that's an even worse enemy. Maybe in a way it isn't since a Hamas leader won't make the pretense of negotiating, and so can be fought to the death.

But Arafat's demise isn't going to make things any easier for Israel.

Annan expresses confidence in Hansen

Gillerman also charged that Hansen "for years has expressed anti-Israeli, biased, unrestrained positions and statements." After Israel withdrew the charge, Hansen said he expected an apology from Israel.

There was no mention of an apology in Wednesday's statement from Annan's spokesman, but there was strong support for Hansen.

"The secretary-general reiterates his full confidence in the integrity and impartiality of Mr. Peter Hansen, commissioner-general of UNRWA," Eckhard said.

Kofi Annan never met a Jew-hater he didn't admire.

French justice official links anti-Zionism to anti-Semitism

"The link between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism is unequivocal," declared Nicole Guedj, the French Justice Ministry's secretary of state for victims' rights, during a conference on anti-Semitism held in Jerusalem Wednesday.

--

Guedj also said that she backed the findings of a recent anti-Semitism report commissioned by the French government that a broad population in France, not just Muslims or those of Arab decent, commit anti-Semitic acts.

IDF may need to keep peace for Palestinians

The army may be forced to intervene in the Palestinian-controlled areas after the demise of Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat to prevent innocent Palestinians from being harmed in the ensuing chaos, Central Command battalion commander Lt.-Col. Y. told The Jerusalem Post in a briefing Wednesday.

With the recent speculations regarding the Palestinian leader's failing health, the army has to be prepared for all situations, he said. "Arafat is still respected because of his past – he is a symbolic figure – but today he has no control over the area," he said. "When he is gone, I believe we will witness a settling of accounts and the army will be forced to become involved in order to protect the civilian population."

And the world will condemn us for it and the UN will call an emergency meeting. Blah.

Besides reporting this to the police, here is the Bush/Cheney hotline

1-888-610-8170

If you receive a vicious anti-Bush phone call or flyer, call 1-888-610-8170. This is the Bush/Cheney hotline, and, as Ken Mehlman (Bush's campaign manager) wrote, "We need to know immediately if you get one of these calls. We need to know the lies, threats, and distortions those allied against us are spreading."

Apparently, the under-the-radar phone calls and rumor mills have begun. While a sign of desperation by John Kerry and the Democratic Party, they can be effective. The only way that the Republican Party can respond to these malicious calls is if we---the grassroots---let the Party know about them.

And for all the professions of love and impending loss from those Palestinian leadership colleagues who know him best, the truth is that few will be sorry to see him go. Fearful of consequent chaos, but not sorry. The egotistical, malevolent Arafat has ruled because his people would tolerate no other symbol, and because he has held the purse strings, and has thus been able to pit politician against politician, security chief against security chief. Those who dared criticize – men like Gaza strongman Muhammad Dahlan, former minister Nabil Amr, and the prime minister who tried hardest to usurp him, Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) – were ruthlessly ostracized.

Regarding that recent thread on moonbats calling for the President to be assasinated:

a word to the wise

For all my LJ-loving friends, this is a word of warning, a word to the wise, and a word of utter exhaustion after the wringer I've been put through in the last twenty-four hours.

A couple of weeks ago, following the last presidential debate, I said some rather inflammatory things about George W. Bush in a public post in my LJ, done in a satirical style. We laughed, we ranted, we all said some things. I thought it was a fairly harmless (and rather obvious) attempt at humor in the face of annoyance, and while a couple of people were offended, as is typical behavior from me, I saw something shiny and forgot about it, thinking that the whole thing was over and done and nothing else would come of what I said.

I was wrong.

At 9:45 last night, the Secret Service showed up on my mother's front door to talk to me about what I said about the President, as what I said could apparently be misconstrued as a threat to his life. After about ten minutes of talking to me and my family, they quickly came to the conclusion that I was not a threat to national security (mostly because we are the least threatening people in the entire world) and told me that they would not recommend that any further action be taken with my case. However, I do now have a file with the FBI that includes my photograph, my e-mail address, and the location of my LJ. This will follow me around for the rest of my life, regardless of the fact that the Secret Service knows that I am not a threat.

OK, I'm reposting this. Arafat will not die. Ever. Here is how I know:

I deal with some truly fractious (fractious is a veterinary code word for evil) cats everyday. When owners ask me their pet's prognosis, I have to take in to account how fractious their cat is.

Example 1: 'Muffin' is a 13 year old female lap cat with a history of diabetes. 'Muffin' is loved by her family, in excellent condition, and has a very nice disposition. 'Muffin' begins to wheeze and has runny eyes. X-rays reveal pneumonia and antibiotics are started.

Prognosis: Muffin is a nice cat and might die. She is not greedy enough to cling to life. She does not have enough evil glue to keep her together.

Example 2: 'Mr. Stinky Fang' is a 19 year old cat with a history of everything (hyperthyroid, diabetic, kidney values shot, liver failure). He has long since stopped grooming himself, he is greasy and matted, smells like sour milk and dookie, has a doting owner who apologizes for her cat when he clamps on to a tech's arm and begins to chew. 'Mr. Stinky Fang' also has a history of spraying urine when nervous, dumping his litter box and biting his owner.

If Arabfat is really croaking, that's wonderful. One Arab terrorist down, only a billion to go. Send him a slab of bacon as a parting gift. But I wouldn't get all excited yet. If I recall correctly, there was another episode a few years ago when everyone thought the ugly face would be removed from view and that turned out to be nothing.

Remember, there are supposed to be some kind of elections happening soon. With everyone thinking he's suffering, he thinks he can get the sympathy vote and more support.

But I do think Israelis might finally dance in the streets if Arabfat dies!

Kuffar!

The dead can still feel pain. Allah Ta'ala says so!

Nabi [Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam] mentioned, ‘Breaking the bone of a deceased is similar to breaking it when alive.’

Ibnul Malik [RA] states that the deceased also feels pain. Ibn Hajar [RA] states this Ahadith alludes to the fact that the deceased also enjoys and takes comfort (from) those things that a living person does.

In Faatawa Shaamiyah, it is stated that when bathing the mayyit, water should not be too hot as the mayyit also feels pain and is harmed just as the living. According to some scholars the soul is returned to the body in the grave. If the soul is punished or given pleasure, then the body will follow suit.

I hope they don't car-swarm Abu Amar's corpse.

Hijackers Surprised to Find Selves in Hell
"We Expected Eternal Paradise For This," Say Suicide Bombers
JAHANNEM, OUTER DARKNESS—The hijackers who carried out the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon expressed confusion and surprise Monday to find themselves in the lowest plane of Na'ar, Islam's Hell.

"I was promised I would spend eternity in Paradise, being fed honeyed cakes by 67 virgins in a tree-lined garden, if only I would fly the airplane into one of the Twin Towers," said Mohammed Atta, one of the hijackers of American Airlines Flight 11, between attempts to vomit up the wasps, hornets, and live coals infesting his stomach. "But instead, I am fed the boiling feces of traitors by malicious, laughing Ifrit. Is this to be my reward for destroying the enemies of my faith?"

The rest of Atta's words turned to raw-throated shrieks, as a tusked, asp-tongued demon burst his eyeballs and drank the fluid that ran down his face.

According to Hell sources, the 19 eternally damned terrorists have struggled to understand why they have been subjected to soul-withering, infernal torture ever since their Sept. 11 arrival.

"There was a tumultuous conflagration of burning steel and fuel at our gates, and from it stepped forth these hijackers, the blessed name of the Lord already turning to molten brass on their accursed lips," said Iblis The Thrice-Damned, the cacodemon charged with conscripting new arrivals into the ranks of the forgotten. "Indeed, I do not know what they were expecting, but they certainly didn't seem prepared to be skewered from eye socket to bunghole and then placed on a spit so that their flesh could be roasted by the searing gale of flatus which issues forth from the haunches of Asmoday."

"Which is strange when you consider the evil with which they ended their lives and those of so many others," added Iblis, absentmindedly twisting the limbs of hijacker Abdul Aziz Alomari into unspeakably obscene shapes.

"I was told that these Americans were enemies of the one true religion, and that Heaven would be my reward for my noble sacrifice," said Alomari, moments before his jaw was sheared away by faceless homunculi. "But now I am forced to suckle from the 16 poisoned leathern teats of Gophahmet, Whore of Betrayal, until I burst from an unwholesome engorgement of curdled bile. This must be some sort of terrible mistake."

Exacerbating the terrorists' tortures, which include being hollowed out and used as prophylactics by thorn-cocked Gulbuth The Rampant, is the fact that they will be forced to endure such suffering in sight of the Paradise they were expecting.

"It might actually be the most painful thing we can do, to show these murderers the untold pleasures that would have awaited them in Paradise, if only they had lived pious lives," said Praxitas, Duke of Those Willingly Led Astray. "I mean, it's tough enough being forced through a wire screen by the callused palms of Halcorym and then having your entrails wound onto a stick and fed to the toothless, foul-breathed swine of Gehenna. But to endure that while watching the righteous drink from a river of wine? That can't be fun."

Underworld officials said they have not yet decided on a permanent punishment for the terrorists.

"Eventually, we'll settle on an eternal and unending task for them," said Lord Androalphus, High Praetor of Excruciations. "But for now, everyone down here wants a crack at them. The legions of fang-wombed hags will take their pleasure on their shattered carcasses for most of this afternoon. Tomorrow, their flesh will be melted from their bones like wax in the burning embrace of the Mother of Cowards. The day after that, they'll be sodomized by the Fallen and their bowels shredded by a demonic ejaculate of burning sand. Then, on Sunday, Satan gets them all day. I can't even imagine what he's got cooked up for them."

"You have reached IDF headquarters. No one is here to take your call right now. Press one for help in Hebrew.

GERTZ // THURSDAY // WASH TIMES: Russian special forces troops moved many of Saddam Hussein's weapons and related goods out of Iraq and into Syria in the weeks before the March 2003 U.S. military operation, The Washington Times has learned. John A. Shaw, the deputy undersecretary of defense for international technology security, said in an interview that he believes the Russian troops, working with Iraqi intelligence, “almost certainly” removed the high-explosive material that went missing from the Al-Qaqaa facility, south of Baghdad.

The one I knew was his latest lover. He's playing tiger again. The officer monitoring his microphones connected me live with the bedroom, and the squawling almost broke my eardrums. Arafat was roaring like a tiger, and his lover yelping like a hyena."

Munteaunu continued: "I've never before seen so much cleverness, blood and filth all together in one man."

Security alert as Arafat 'fights for life'
By Anton La Guardia, Diplomatic Editor
(Filed: 28/10/2004)

Palestinian leaders were summoned to Yasser Arafat's bedside in his headquarters in Ramallah last night, where the man who has led the Palestinian movement for more than three decades appeared to be fighting for his life.

Palestinian security forces went on high-alert, all leave was cancelled and officers were recalled.

Officials admit that Mr Arafat is in a critical condition
Officials at first denied Israeli news reports that Mr Arafat, 75, had lost consciousness, but then admitted that after several days of suffering from a suspected intestinal virus he was in a critical condition and was slipping in and out of consciousness.

His wife, Suha, was reported to be on her way from Paris to Ramallah, where scores of Palestinian leaders were gathering.

Among those at the bedside were Ahmad Qureia, the Palestinian prime minister, and Mahmoud Abbas, Mr Arafat's deputy in the Palestine Liberation Organisation. Reports said that they would form a committee to act on Mr Arafat's behalf, but Rawhi Fattuh, the speaker of the Palestinian parliament, is authorised to assume Mr Arafat's responsibilities in his absence.

Israel, which has confined Mr Arafat to the ruins of his headquarters for more than two years, vowing to make him "irrelevant", last night renewed an offer to allow him to be taken to hospital, in Ramallah if necessary and perhaps abroad.

Shaul Mofaz, the Israeli defence minister, said Jordanian doctors would be allowed to cross the border into the West Bank to join Palestinian and Tunisian physicians who were examining Mr Arafat. Hassan Abu Libdeh, the Palestinian cabinet secretary, told CNN television: "He has been going through a very slow recovery over the last few days, including the last six hours, and now he is in critical condition. He needs to be examined by three groups of doctors."

Paco: So the little wiener made a threatening comment about Bush on the Internet and is now crying because words have consequences?

Once and for all, I want to state for the record, again: I am a nonviolent person. As I told the Sekkrit Service last night, I don't know how to operate a gun. I've never had any military training. I don't even know how to throw a punch. I failed gym. I duck and cover when threatened with violence. I've said before that I could never join the military because I would totally start crying and wuss out and be the worst soldier ever, not because I want to sabotage the government, but because I'm just not cut out for it. Totally respect anyone and everyone who does, but me, personally? You don't WANT me in your army. In fact, you want me on the OTHER GUY'S team, because I will undoubtedly fuck things up. I'm a klutz.

In others words, she's a dork with a nasty mouth. That's why I'm not overly worried about lefties rioting if Bush gets reelected. Most of ones in my neighborhood could get their butts kicked by a couple of Girl Scouts.
They really don't look up to duking it out with the cops.

#484 piglet--LOL

Time to revise a joke I heard recently, along those lines.

After Arafat's death, the PA descends into chaos, and Arafat's cabinet members are holed up inside the Muqata, surrounded by Palestinian swarms screaming for their blood, finally prepared to take revenge for the PA's corruption and human rights abuses.

The cabinet members call out on an open radio frequency: "Somebody, anyone but Israel, help us! The people are at the gates! They are coming to massacre us!"

Dead silence. No incoming help.
The swarms have broken down the outer door, and the cabinet members move into a back room with the radio. Again they call out: "O Arab brothers! Anyone who can hear this, except the Israelis! Please help us! Our people have stormed the Muqata! They are coming to massacre us!"

Nothing. No offers from other Arabs, Hamas, anyone. The mob is pounding on the inner door, and the cabinet falls back to Arafat's inner sanctum (which is getting a bit rank). Smoke begins to filter beneath the door, as the mob has set fire to the outer office. Desperate, they call out on the radio: "Help us! Anyone--INCLUDING the Israelis! Save us from the mob!"

Reception is poor in the inner sanctum, but they can hear a voice coming through. "Yes, this is the Israeli Defense Forces. How may we be of service?"

"The mob is coming!" the ministers cry. "Save us!"

"Don't worry," says the IDF rep. "We can help. Do you speak Hebrew?"

"NO!" cry the ministers (beginning to cough from the smoke--and the odeur du Fish).

"Very good then," says the IDF man. "Repeat after me:
Yisgadal ve'yiskadash, shmei rabah..."

536 independent_with_common_sense  Wed, Oct 27, 2004 6:05:23pm

How will Arafat's death before the US Presidential elections affect the outcome?

A lot would depend on whether the immediate power transition is peaceful.

If the transfer of power is relatively bloodless, those who believe that Arafat's passing will aid the Mideast peace process and thus require less harsh measures from Washington will vote for Kerry.

It is also possible, however, that other voters might be gripped with panic, especially if there is an outbreak of violence and a radical outfit like Hezbollah (or Sharon) seizes power. Should Sharon move in despite Bush's pleas, the President will be seen as weak and Kerry wins.

Of course there is always the superstitious voter who will see Arafat's passing as a sign.

A right-leaning will attribute this to the luck of Bush; a left-leaning voter will see it as a positive sign for Kerry's first term.

It will be very difficult watching his funeral with heads of state from every country saying how he fought long and hard for the palestinian people...for their undying yearning for a homeland. {puke} While weeping for arafat they will not miss a chance to slam Israel. And the whole thing broadcast across the world. It will be no picnic those days following his death. [unless of course the palestinian people go bonkers and kill each other]

More interesting than the dubious effect on the US election is, what will the Euros do, once the Revered Leader is gone and it is obvious--even to them--there is no one for them to try to force Israel to negotiate with?

Even a "triumvirate scenario" is a questionable mandate under which to attempt negotiations, 'tho the Euros would probably try. They see negotiation as a useful end in itself. And where they go, presumably Kerry would go. Talking would be useless but harmless, if they didn't keep insisting Israel make actual concessions, while Palestinians are required to do nothing.

Everyone..not so sure I want that pig to kick the bucket. You all know what will happen THEN. The World will define the next "leader"as a so called MODERATE and then proceed to put pressure on Israel to agree to whatever. Then they will help those "people" grab as much of Israel as they can with the promise of MORE as this Terror State is fully established right next to Israel with all the protections and goodies that come to a legal State.

Why is America, after 30 years of promising Jews that they would NOT support a Palistinian State actually turning around and supporting a State guaranteed to always try to destroy Israel? What about the 30 year promise to Jews? What happened to that? If they do this kind of thing to us...(break a solomn pledge) they will do it to you in any kind of venue...Foreign Policy or Domestic Policy.

There are*** NO Palistinian People and No REAL Palistinain State now or ever before. Why is this fairy tale turning into a State? Could it be that whatever hurts Jews makes many people happeee? Is that the bottom line here? Theres no such a thing as Palistine and we American are going support in every way and HELP this new Criminal State.

Next..what kind of crap...will they throw out for the reason or reasons they are dividing Jerusalem. Ive heard it a DONE DEAL already. (heard that about three years ago--Its in the "air" in and around Washington) NEXT? What next? Right of return? The END for Israel if that happens. Maybe that the quiet hope of many.

Sorry this is all I can conclude. These are vicious murderers and they are being made excuses for and getting what they want. My G-d.

MikeL didn't get back to us, but he did get back---last night, at the end of the "Zucker Lampoons Flipper" thread, and he started up with the "A-man-as-important-as-I-am" schtick again.

Funny thing was, J.D. was there too, and she immediately got onto him re his creepy remark about her "wife" on the previous thread---she told him her husband would have knocked his teeth down his throat if he'd ever come onto him, and said she hoped MikeL didn't wear dentures.

MikeL went away after that, and hasn't been back since, far as I can tell. By the way---I'm still voting with you on getting him banned, and will back you up on that one; a troll is one thing, but MikeL's viciousness and delusions of grandeur really are off the wall.

As for the other trolls we've been getting lately: Shintriad, "Reason", etc., they all sound so much alike, I'm beginning to wonder if they're all reading the same script or something! I know, I know, I'm paranoid. . .

My prediction (which, added to $7.50 will buy you coffee at Starbucks) is that Bush's statement will "focus on the future" of the Palestinian territories...this is a time to move forward, establish an elected government, fulfill Palestinian obligations under the RoadMap, blah blah.

No administration official will attend. At most they will hint at sending Colin Powell but then cancel for "security considerations."

They will give the okay to Carter or Clinton going as symbolic "elder statesmen" (although this will give them access to the media, and they will use the opportunity to regret the lack of progress towards peace because of the Bush administration's "lack of involvement.") Before the election--will get them out of the country. After the election--who cares if they go or not?

Way OT but nowehere else to post

There's a great mathematician who is used as a standard by other mathematicians. I can't remember his name so I'll call him Schwartz. A mathematician's "Schwartz Number" is how closely they are related, academically, to the great Schwartz. A Schwartz Number of 1 would mean that they co-authored a paper with him. A Schwartz Number of 2 would mean that they co-authored a paper with a co-author of Schwartz. And on and on.

Well, along those lines I must be positively radioactive to the DU/Kos crowd. Not only have I actually spoken on the phone to the great Lizard Master himself, the nefarious Charles Johnson, but tonight I actually got to say Hi to Karl Rove. No handshake from Mr. Rove, though, he was about 10 feet away. I did get to meet this real nice guy named George, though, and later on his wife Laura stopped to say hello.

Zulubaby

Ya know, I went back to the long thread about the Orange County terrorist, and re-read some of the troll reason's remarks. . . and I'm beginning to take my own paranoia more seriously. He sounds an awful lot like good old MikeL---and all the other trolls who've posted here recently, too!

They all start out trying to sound quite elegant in a strained way (i.e., "As a well-educated, well-endowed man of the world, who hobnobs with billiionaires, I am curious to discuss with you the upcoming election, in order to decide who to vote for. . .") and, when challenged, descending---quite quickly---into what sounds like their more natural mode of expression ("Well, F---K you, you retard! You are just a f---g retard! I don't talk to f---g retards!)

And they all use "retard" as an insult. Now I rarely hear this coming out of the mouths of adult, halfway-educated, halfway decent people---but I hear it a lot coming out of the mouths of nasty, overly-aggressive, not especially bright teenage boys. I'm getting very suspicious. . . I think we've either got somebody posting under different nics, or tag-team trolls (or trolls working off some sort of script.)

It's getting late, I have to go, but I'm going to look into this tomorrow.

Good night to all, G-d bless.

Let's see, a clan society that practices honor killings, raises its children to be killers, fires assault weapons into the air celebrating everything from funerals to weddings, has so many different 'military factions' that you need a scorecard, and you think a dictator's death could trigger a bloody power struggle?

633 Cybrludite  Wed, Oct 27, 2004 8:29:21pm

annelid,

I can sympathize. Over a three week period in late summer of '01...
Week 1: GF dumps me.
Week 2: 9/11
Week 3: Loose job.

Main difference is I ran up my debt trying to stay out of my parent's spare room. I really don't reccomend doing that. Took me 16 months to land a permenant job again, and another 4 to stabilize my finances to the point where I could move back out.

Aisha tells me that Islamically, he has to be stripped naked and washed ASAP after his death by (preferably) another man, or his wife. First step is to wipe away any "impurities" expelled before or at death. Then one presses on the stomach to expell the contents, and repeats step one. Then one washes the genitals.

Ain't that a pretty thought, folks.

Sorry Throbert.

My wife of 22 years dumped me for a fucking cowboy.
She tried to get me to pay her Jeep payment last week and got pissed when I refused.

Let the shit kicker pay it.

Get over it, find a new lady and go on. I did.

BTW it still hurts. I mean, a fucking cowboy for christ sakes. Won't even cosign for her to refinance the Jeep. Getting a lawyer here. Any lizardroids that can help out a fellow reptillian in a divorce would be great.

I got her on adultry. She hooked up a week after leaving me, while I was feeling like I wanted to die, she was having the time of her life screing this little sawd off fucker.

There's also always the "sudden reversal" to hope for!

I can't wait to hear the reaction of his Palestinian filth to the parties and celebrations that we'll be having all across the world when this creature finally dies. I hope someone will work at collecting video clips of such. Maybe they'll all commit suicide in a "national" gesture of mourning? We can hope!!!

Arafat should be cremated, his ashes distributed to all those hurt by his monstrosities, and they should flush him away with their next bowel movement.

Actually, I think they won't be able to decide upon a single lie. It's like all the mohammedan moonbats who are perpetually torn between:

1. blaming the Jews / Ariel Sharon / the Mossad for 9/11 and

2. congratulating the mujahadeen [magnificent 19 and all that] for striking a blow against the Great Satan (TM).

Yep, he's in a bad way allright, the poor man...

My feelings on this matter are tempered by the ridiculous reaction that will occur in the Western media.

"Man of peace" they'll say, poor Yasser leading his poor, honorable, peaceful Palestinians against the satanic, facist Israeli's...

They will mention nothing of course about his instigation of evil. cowardly attacks on children, his frantic attempts to stop any pathway to peace at all costs, the offer by Jordan years ago to share power in Jordan with him, to giove the palestinian people a home. Rejected of course by Arafat, the panic in his eyed I would have loved to have seen.

Will the press mention the slyness of the man? Someone who professes peace to every western journalist who will listen, yet at in the same breath call for Jewish blood to Arab journalists standing nearby? He played western jornalists like a cheap violin, more fool them for believing his poison.

#358 Cavy,
OT--
You think you are freaked out; these people know where I live. They have my email address, my name, my driver's license number, and which primary I voted in. They say they got the info legally--from the state voter rolls, from a credit bureau (!?!), and from a company where I bought a DVD online and then correlated it to make up their list of 26 million email address covering 150 million voters. And they are selling this list to anyone who has the cash...

Think about it; if a terrorist really wanted to kill off people on the right, they would buy this list and mail out a few letters with nasty contents...or maybe they would pick out the APO and FPO addresses and screw up our military. At the very least, their database could be used for the biggest identity theft ring in the US...

The ability to abuse this (as has already been done, considering how much spam I have gotten) is so easy to see that it makes me very paranoid. (I really, really hope I am just being paranoid.)

(PS..sorry I did not respond earlier, I was trying to get my camera ready for the moon, and then taping it.)

# 686 glwing:

Actually, the muslim tombs are located on the slopes of the Mount.

As often is the case in archeology, the burial site (notably on the eastern slope) is placed on top of older burial sites, Christian and Jewish.

The Eastern slope holds special significance for Messianic Christians and Jews, as it is believed that the Final Judgement will take place thereabouts. For that same reason, Muslim rulers had the Eastern Gate bricked up in the 1200s in a symbolic act.

Ancient burial sites (pre-mussie) were discovered, but the Waqf quickly had the evidence covered up with concrete and to this date, no excavations have been permitted.

The Al-Aqsa mosque is built on the site of a Byzantine church as well as on top of the location of the two Temples, of course.

The Waqf is doing everything it can to prevent any further archeological evidence of cultural presence on the Mount, which predates islam.

Still wonder if Fuckfish put other signatories in place on his vast network of accounts, hmmm?

Somehow, I think this could be the issue the Pali-scum so-called leadership are sweating the most right now.

Oh, that and their looming civil war for Successor to the Rotting Fish.

I think that you ladies and gentlemen of the LGF persuasion are being most unreasonable in begrudging that poor Mr Arafat a burial. Personally, I would take a spade and bury the bastard anywhere, anytime, breathing or not.

A bit OT, the story behind the picture that fanned the flames of Arafat's Infitada
Sulzberger and his New York Times suck even worse than I thought they did.

Yup. Wish I'd have thought of that one first. Although (unfortunately) littleoldlady seems to fit me very well.

Heh, I wish that's what the Egyptian scumbag had!

Would end all the speculation and set off a nice all-night celebration here in Ramat Gan...and all over this country, I s'pose.

With the possible exception of The Fifth Column...uh, I mean, the Arab Sector. HAH!

Many thanks for your kind words. I was strolling around Loch Lomond when the idea came to me.

Thinking of which, it would save a lot of digging if we buried Arafat in Loch Ness. Oh damn, there's one monster in it already.

Nu? What makes you think he wouldn't want company after all those years being alone?

The Palestinian Authority announced on Wednesday night that a committee consisting of three senior officials had been established to run the affairs of the Palestinians following reports that PA Chairman was in critical condition. The committee consists of Prime Minster Ahmed Qurei, former Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas, and Salim Zanoun, chairman of the Palestine National Council, the PLO's parliament-in-exile. Interesting that Abu Mazan ( Mahmoud Abbas) is back and the disengagement vote took place in the Knesset on Tuesday night

That works for me.

I just get over my disappointment that he didn't kick the bucket yesterday. I believed Mr Pol when he said Arafat was dead, so I totalled a whole bag of Hershey Nuggets in celebration. My only consolation is, as bad as my stomach feels today, Mr Pol's head (hangover) is probably worse. ;-)

And that brings me to ‘The Power of Nightmares,’ a BBC series that could easily be branded scurrilous were it not based on such an absurd premise. This is the BBC outdoing itself, claiming in the first teaser- minute of episode one that the war on terror is a product of the collective paranoia of George Bush, Tony Blair and a bunch of Jewish neoconservatives who have been obsessing about the ’mythical’ ( the BBC’s word) threats out there since 1949.

This extraordinarily bizarre programme explained that the nineteen hijackers of 9/11 can trace their origins to an Egyptian student who spent time in America in the 1950s and decided that the way Americans fixed up their lawns -- yes, their lawns -- was just one of many signs of the immorality and selfishness of Western infidel culture that must be destroyed at all costs. Yep, he was angry about their lawns.

To be fair, the BBC explained that the Egyptian had attended school dances and had been mortally offended witnessing the ‘lustful’ dancing of youngsters in their suits and crinoline dresses. So, that was offensive, too, but not as bad as the lawns.

Arafat must be a Cubs fan. He probably got them confused with the Red Sox because he could die 'happy' knowing the CubsRed Sox won the WS and was confused because of his dementia. When he learned that it was the Red Sox and not the Cubs, he summoned up the strength to continue living.

Why can't he be a good boy and just die already.

Do they perform autopsies on schmataheads? Will they find that he died of tertiary goat disease? Will they find a heart? Will they find the money that he stole from the European Union, the United States, and his "brothers" (who paid blackmail to keep him from sending homicide bombers to their houses)? Only the Shadow knows. And the Shadow is too busy sniggering to care...

726 WriterMom  Thu, Oct 28, 2004 5:13:46am

Arafish is probably being transfered to the hospital because they don't have enough embalming fluid in the muquata.

And #354 zenbone LMAO!!!

Those two images are going to be circulated by moi. I'm so jealous of my dad and step-mom being in Israel now for all this!!

Liver failure. And speaks volumes for how shitty the paleostinian medical community is. And how pathetic that they have shot themselves in the foot with Israel, considering that absolute world class medical care is available in much of Israel, certainly in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

Kinda like the "boiler suit" Churchill used to wear... or an oversize version of the kind of thing babies wear.

Yep, I fear he may have taken us all for a ride.

The latest is he's going to FRANCE for treatment. Where else?!

RAMALLAH, West Bank - It is highly likely that Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat is suffering from blood cancer, Israeli sources told NBC News Thursday.

The sources said that according to information received by Israel, gathered from laboratory tests, Arafat’s red blood cell count at around noon was 35,000. A normal red blood count is 50,000 and at death the count is 10,000.
734 kevin the ox  Thu, Oct 28, 2004 10:42:31am

#689: Yes, the Dome of the Rock is built not only on a precise plan of a 5th/6th century Byzantine commemorative church style (as in the house of Peter in Capernaum and the church atop Mt. Gerizim), but probably of substantially the same materials as the original church, destroyed by the Persians in their 614 invasion of Jerusalem. The placement of the church on the site of the Holy of Holies is precisely due to an ancient Byzantine tradition that the Virgin Mary was dedicated to the Temple as a child and lived in the Holy of Holies (this is probably why an almost identical commemorative church to Mary was built on Mt. Gerizim, directly above the ruins of the Samaritan Temple there). Thus some think the cave was dug underneath early, as part of the standard practice of early Byzantine churches comprising a "luminous cave" of some sort, or in Crusader times. Stories that the Byzantines used the area for a literal dump were fictitious, as the holiness of the spot, attached to the church commemorating the childhood of the Virgin Mary, was quite high simply because it was the site of the Temple where she was supposed to have grown up. The area was probably still scattered with ruins of the centuries between, but was certainly not a garbage dump.

Mount that fish-head and put it on the wall being put up. After the flies and maggots settle down, we can use it for target practice. Lips count for double.

Gee. He's so little and wizened. What's he gonna do with the seventy virgins waiting for him?
