Did Rachel Corrie’s parents poison Yasser Arafat? Arafat cabinet chief says he knows when leader was poisoned.

“Something strange happened to Arafat around a year ago. It was on September 25, 2003...,” Ahmed Abdelrahman told the London-based Al-Hayat newspaper. “The president shook hands with around 30 people before leaving to vomit. It was from that moment that the president’s health started slowly deteriorating,” he explained Monday. ...

“Arafat shook hands with people, who had come to express solidarity with him in his confinement. They were a mixture of Palestinians, foreigners and Israelis,” Arafat’s former cabinet secretary recalled.

“’Could it be that they got to me?’, Arafat asked himself. He also said: ‘Is it possible that 10 doctors can’t find out what I’m suffering from?’”.

“The president was exposed to something, and I’m inclined to believe it was maybe gas or something else. I don’t know about all the types of poisons, but there are some 700 that are unknown,” Abdelrahman said.

On September 25, Arafat received a visit from a group of cyclists from around the world on a peace mission as well as from a group of activists accompanying the parents of a US peace activist who had died six months earlier crushed by an Israeli bulldozer in the southern Gaza Strip.

Just who are these international spies of mystery working for anyway? If I were running the IDF that photo-op would have been an invitation for another freak "bulldozer" accident!

That would the most ultimate revenge ever if the parents weren't really the idiots we thought they were and they were just playing along the whole time to get close enough to the head-terrorist himself so as to poison him as the person ultimately responsible for their daughters suicide/death actually due to Palestinians.

8 Bubble Girl  Mon, Dec 20, 2004 6:46:13am

Yes, he was exposed to something alright... And is that awful picture a gift from Arafat to her parents? How would you like to see that hanging above the fireplace. "My, what a... hmmm, lovely daughter you had"

Impeccable paleostinian logic.

Is it possible that the leader of a 'revolutionary'
group might have enemies other than those
of the group he most consistently murders?

PFLP ... Hamas ... Islamic Jihad ... Al AsQa ...
all have something to gain if Arafat is out of
the way.

They certainly have much more to gain than
the Israelis do if 'da fish' is in the big net
up in the sky.

Funny, but I would have expected this to be the other way around.

Followed by 30 other people who had to vomit after realizing they had just shaken hands with a corrupt, psychopathic, disease-ridden pedophile.

OT - Get out your burkas! Just heard on CBC radio (no link yet) that a report has just been released that reccommends the use of sharia law to adjudicate civil cases between Muslims in Ontario. Apparently, the report suggests some er, safeguards, to ensure the laws don't deprive women of their human rights under Canadian law. But since sharia law, by definition, doesn't grant women equal rights, it's hard to see how these laws can consider the safeguards and still qualify as sharia.

Whew, my ears are still burning from the comment line under the "original is here" post. St. Pancake?

It's pathetic how the partisan lamestream media syndicate downplayed Corrie's role in trying to protect Palestinian tunnels that they were using to smuggle weapons, etc., tunnels not any different than the one tunnel that dug underneath an IDF outpost that was blown up with around a thousand pounds of explosives.

At least the hemorrhoid Arafat is getting his just rewards right now by having 72 Virginians beating the hell out of him to properly prep him for his eventually appointment with the Lake of Fire. That freak has done more to keep Palestinians in a state of squalor and murderous rage than 6 million Israeli Jews could have possibly accomplished if they had been trying to do such for the last 60 years - and the Palestinian people are too stupid to see it. The thought of Palestinian mothers proudly sqeezing out potential suicide bomber babies should be enough to outrage the entire civilized world...but it doesn't. Go figure.

There are at least 7 known levels to the Lizard base beneth the Denver Airport,

Level 1: Reception

Level 2: Security

Level 3: Intelligence

Level 4: HIGH COMMAND (Charles' office is here) (WARNING: Nitrogen Atmosphere!)

Level 5: Smoke 'Em if you got 'Em (Bar and Grill with a normal atmosphere, where Charles goes to light up a stogie. Also the Official "speakeasy" of the FNDT)

Level 6: Nitrogen Generation/Pressurization Units (12)

Level 7: Janitorial Services (Stinky Beaumont's Office is here)
?
Level 100: Escape Hatch. Connected to Level 4 by a direct, high speed elevator, the Command Center's "Back Door" leads directly HERE. A good place for a Lizard to hide out if the LLL's are closing in!

Hold on to your hats people ...

Film ridicules US portrayal of Arabs

Sayyid Badriya does not act very well, but then he never really had to - Hollywood has only ever wanted him to look crazy like a terrorist.

Now the Egyptian actor who played the bad guy in films such as The Insider, Three Kings, and Executive Decision has got his own back with comic drama T for Terrorist.

Badriya plays a bit-part actor who loses his temper at a director's demands for more and more wild-eyed looks in a terrorism scene. So he holds up the set at gunpoint and forces the pasty-faced director to play the gun-toting lunatic.

So to ridicule US films' portrayal of arabs, this genius makes a short film that includes an arab going apeshit and holding people at gunpoint.

Schtoopidity, your name is Badriya ...

Go for it! It does get a bit dicey since some of the cast are still dead..perhaps suhaha could portray arafart? A tea towel on her head would do it quite nicely (over her face even better). St. Pancake could be a bit more difficult.Jeanine Garafalo might do...and since it is reality TV, it would kill two (one?) bird(s) with one, uh, tractor.

Re Yushchenko, I could not make this up, but then the Russians could, to make him look bad (no pun intended, but darn if it isn't a possibly semi-decent one). Ukraine’s Yushchenko to Have Plastic Surgery in Israel for Dioxin Poisoning. I bet Hanoi john knows a few Botox specialists..anyone know what the combination of Dioxin and Botox could do?

Thanks for the link, Thom! Good grief! What an idiot this Badriya is! When is the last time any Hollywood movie portrayed Moslems in a negative light? Even popular novels, with Moslem villains, always have the badies switched over to being "Right wing white Nazi-Facist types" (which are permissible to hate) when they hit the silver screen! If anything, Hollywood---and a lot of fifth-rate popular fiction---idealizes Moslems.

(Oh, and I love the way the character in this film is shown as taking hostages---because he objects being portrayed as a wild-eyed terrorist, who takes hostages! That'll show those bigoted Westerners not to judge Moslems unfairly!)

If anything, Hollywood---and a lot of fifth-rate popular fiction---idealizes Moslems.

Yeah, no kidding!

In the movie Executive Decision, Muslims were the bad guys who hijacked an airplane, but they made sure to show that it was really only the one leader (and one cohort hidden among the passengers) who wanted to blow up a bomb they'd brought onto the plane (to blow up once they'd landed in the U.S.)

They had asked for a terrorist to be released and EVEN HE was shown trying to reason with the guy on the plane not to do anything else (like try to blow up America.)

When one of the guys on the plane asked the terror boss why they weren't ending the hijacking once the terrorist was released, the terror leader shot this guy and killed him for saying 'This is not about Islam. It's about your own hatred!'

EVEN AMONG A GROUP OF TERORISTS, they were trying to give the message 'Not all Muslims are bad' (actually in this case it was 'Not all Muslim terrorists are bad.')

The 9/11 skydevils were cutting people's throats to make sure that everyone else knew that they were not just asking for asylum someplace. If Hollywood ever portrays these hijackings (I hope not!), they will have half the 9/11 skydevils saying things like 'Couldn't we let the passengers off the plane before we fly into the World Trade Center?'

Hollywood doesn't have the guts to tell the truth. They'll be even worse now that they've seen what happened to Theo Van Gogh, of course.

"The Sum of All Fears" - the book was great - terrorists found a nuke that detached from an IAF fighter during the Six Day War. Good premise / story etc...

The movie - ummm, who knows. After I learned it was changed to have Europeans be the enemy so they don't offend anyone (remember - if you have white skin no one worries about offending you) I couldn't bring myself to see it.

Opening credits are great. Rapidly becomes stinky.

I kinda think it's along those lines, too. OTOH, it may just be that people who like to write are attracted to the law, b/c it's one of the few profession where you can earn a steady living by being essentially, a writer, even if you have to write long-winded, non-sensical run-on sentances about things like trover and conversion...

More of Rachel's own words. Incredible.

Today I tried to learn to say, "Bush is a tool", but I don't think it translated quite right. But anyway, there are eight-year-olds here much more aware of the workings of the global power structure than I was just a few years ago.

They're still more aware of it, Rachel.

We could probably make it through if we made serious use of our international white person privilege,

Yes. Go for it, my arrogantly deluded child. Your 'white' carcass will certainly stop those nasty Jews from defendiong theri women and children.

I still feel like I'm relatively safe and think that my most likely risk in case of a larger-scale incursion is arrest.

Uhm, it might get a little more dangerous than that, honeybunch.

What is the prevailing wisdom?

15 million Jews rule the world.

The Jews invented human rights in order to protect themselves.

The Jews invented the Holocaust in order to demand special favors for themselves.

Islam is a religion of peace and is subject to discrimination and persecution all over the world.

Western countries are rich because they stole the wealth of other countries.

AIDS was invented by white people to kill black people in Africa.

Therapeutic touch works. Crystal therapy works.

And so it goes.

Is there any hope for the human species? I am not sure.

Thanks for posting the link to Rachel Corrie's words. UGH!

So when I sound crazy, or if the Israeli military should break with their racist tendency not to injure white people

No wonder she committed suicide over there. She believed that Israel would move heaven and earth to keep from killing anyone with white skin, so she felt free to step in front of bulldozers or bullets or whatever.

She didn't know, apparently, that HALF of the Jews in Israel are from Middle Eastern descent (NON-WHITE.)

If she had LOOKED inside the bulldozers that she was so anxious to get run over by, she would have seen for herself that the Jewish people in Israel come in ALL COLORS.

She was such an IDIOT!

She also builds a case for the use of terrorism:

If any of us had our lives and welfare completely strangled, lived with children in a shrinking place where we knew, because of previous experience, that soldiers and tanks and bulldozers could come for us at any moment and destroy all the greenhouses that we had been cultivating for however long, and did this while some of us were beaten and held captive with 149 other people for several hours - do you think we might try to use somewhat violent means to protect whatever fragments remained? I think about this especially when I see orchards and greenhouses and fruit trees destroyed - just years of care and cultivation. I think about you and how long it takes to make things grow and what a labour of love it is. I really think, in a similar situation, most people would defend themselves as best they could. I think Uncle Craig would. I think probably Grandma would. I think I would.

The terrorism against Israel is WHY Israel has had to fight the Balestinians in the first place.

She was a stupid girl who committed suicide. No pity for her.

#259 Michael - Waiting for butt expert to arrive, his shift is coming up.

Kofi- JFKerry wrote up most of the AfterAction Reports that did result in most, if not all of the medals. Amazingly, his 3rd Purple Heart happened on March 14, he admits he was hit in the ass by rice pellets and tiny bits of grenade shrapnel in his book, Tour of Duty, does not say who threw the grenade, there were no enemy in the area at the time. Later another boat hit the underwater mine, Kerry said his boat hit one too, and he got an owwee-boo-boo on his forearm when he hit it on the boat.

It was these horrible injuries that let him recieve his 3rd PH just four days later, that's megafast for medals, the same morning he recieved the medal his commander sent a request to Washington to give Kerry the 3 Purple Hearts and you are out of the battlezone. Kerry won't admit that he had been yanked from command of his boat the day after he hurt his ass and arm.

265 Roger  Mon, Dec 20, 2004 10:13:04am

I would like to make the point again that Corrie did not stand in front of a bulldozer and the bulldozer run her down. By eye witness accounts, she climbed onto the blade while it was moving and found it impossible to get off, slipped and fell. Her own doing; nothing to do with the operator. If someone does something that unexpectedly stupid around earth moving equipment bad things will happen.

Amazingly, his 3rd Purple Heart happened on March 14, he admits he was hit in the ass by rice pellets and tiny bits of grenade shrapnel in his book, Tour of Duty, does not say who threw the grenade, there were no enemy in the area at the time.

Several months ago, it came out that Kerry and his guys(?) threw the grenade. They dropped it into a rice patty or something then ran away before the blast.

Kerry didn't run fast enough, so he got rice pellets and bits of shrapnel mostly in his butt, I think.

When the Swift Boat Vets for Truth (I LOVE THOSE GUYS!) started talking about these medals and even Bob Dole started commenting on Kerry's foolishness to bring all this war stuff up -- some Democrats started wailing that Kerry should drop his pants to show the shrapnel that was still lodged in his thighs or whatever (as if it came from an enemy attack.)

Kerry should have run faster from his own grenade. He was probably busy planning out how to film the re-enactment later so he dawdled.

My Dad was a Vietnam Vet. He was never hurt in the war, thank G-d, but he went through some very scary times. After Kerry's performance back in the States (where he trashed our soldiers and got our country to spit on them) -- my Dad never mentioned his experiences in the Vietnam War ever again. Never.

My Dad was in the war for three years, not just Kerry's four months.

I'm glad that the Swift Boat guys came forward. I'm very glad for my Dad who passed away from an illness several years ago. I wish he'd lived to see this.

LOL -- Rashoman Vietnam

Kerry's Version:

As I turned I felt a sharp sting in the back of my thigh, warm liquid seeped down my leg. Gooks dressed in black pajamas ran away from the river bank into the densely bambooed jungle. I fell onto the deck, paralyzed from shock. The pain, the pain was immense, overwhelming.

Kerry's gunner:

I saw Lt Cmdr Kerry fall to deck, a look of pain and bewilderment on his face. "Am I hurt bad, don't lie to me, make the pain stop," he said. I looked at the back of his thigh, a Mekong Mosquito had bitten through his fatigues, the Lt. had pissed in his pants from fright.

The Gooks on shore:

We were fishing on the banks when we hear loud shrieking, it come from one those American Swiftboats, we ran for our lives, we very, very scared, it hurt our ears. I never forget that noise, as long as I live.

This would be ultimate justice wouldn't it? Rachel Corrie, part of the terror infrastructure, dies accidently. Her certifiably LLL parents make a pilgramage to kneel before the king of terrorists so as to finalize the terrorist canonization of their misguided daughter. After all that, they are then forever wrongfully linked to a US inspired covert action that killed the king of terrorists and are shunned by by their LLL friends and associates for life. A perfect ending.

As seen in this comment 159 posted on the peaceful Pali's thread from yesterday, models are starting to see never before conceived possibility of Christmas Eve/Christmas Gulf Coast snowstorm.

Well, the trained experts at the Hydrometeorological Prediction Center (who see the models in much better detail on their workstations than I do on the innernut) are taking interest...

FINAL MEDIUM RANGE DISCUSSION...

...POTENTIAL STILL EXISTS FOR A MAJOR SNOWFALL FOR PORTIONS OF THE GULF STATES AND SOUTHEAST FOR CHRISTMAS EVE AND CHRISTMAS DAY...

AFTER LOOKING AT THE COMPLETE 12Z/20 GUIDANCE...DECIDED THAT 06Z/20 OPERATIONAL GFS OFFERED THE MOST APPROPRIATE COMPROMISE FOR
THE TWO MOST CONTENTIOUS AREAS OF THE NATION THIS PD...THE GULF AND SOUTHEAST CHRISTMAS EVE AND DAY...AND THE NORTHWEST DAY 7. ABOUT THREE-QUARTERS OF THE 12Z/20 GFS ENSEMBLE MEMBERS...THE 06Z/20 AND 12Z/20 OPERATIONAL RUNS OF THE GFS...AND THE 00Z/20 OPERATIONAL ECMWF SUPPORTED A SIGNIFICANT ISENTROPIC SNOW EVENT FROM ERN TX TO THE SOUTHEAST PIEDMONT AND MID ATL COAST. OTHER GUIDANCE... INCLUDING THE 06Z/20 DGEX...ARE OFFSHORE WITH THE PCPN. WITH TWO 12Z/20 GFS ENSEMBLE MEMBERS SO WOUND UP THAT THEY PRODUCE RAIN FOR MUCH OF THE E...AND CONSIDERING THE HIGH IMPACT A MAJOR WINTER EVENT WOULD HAVE ON THE DEEP SOUTH ON CHRISTMAS EVE AND DAY...BELIEVE THAT ERRING ON THE SIDE OF A MORE WRN TRACK OF THIS STORM IS MOST PRUDENT. 06Z/20 OPERATIONAL GFS GOES FOR A SIGNIFICANT WINTER EVENT OVER THE SOUTH AND EAST...BUT DOES NOT OFFER THE ALL-OUT WHOPPER OF STORM THAT SOME OF THE GUIDANCE SUGGESTS... HENCE...IT WON OUR CONFIDENCE.

...GULF STATES...

POTENTIAL EXISTS DAY 4 FOR A SIGNIFICANT SNOWSTORM ACROSS ERN TX...WRN LA..AND NRN MS AND AL. A THIN SLIVER OF ICE IS ALSO POSSIBLE ON THE SRN EDGE OF THE SNOW AREA...WITH A COLD RAIN ELSEWHERE.

...SOUTHEAST AND MID-ATL...

POTENTIAL EXISTS DAY 5...CHRISTMAS DAY...FOR A SIGNIFICANT SNOWSTORM FOR MUCH OF THE SOUTHEAST PIEDMONT AND COASTAL PLAIN... AND THE DELMARVA PENINSULA...FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER ARCTIC BLAST DAY
6.

299 gutterfiend  Mon, Dec 20, 2004 11:09:43am

I've always been sort of fond of Corrie... see, about a year ago I was reading a newpaper article that briefly mentioned her, but didn't give any details about who she was or how she died. So I did a search for her name on the internet, and got a whole mess of wacky moonbat sites singing her praises. Several of them mentioned LGF (though not in a positive way - I'm sure you'll all be shocked to hear that) and I ending up coming here to see what all the fuss was about.

Eventually I found all sorts of cool blogs - Daimnation!, Lileks, Relapsed Catholic, and some others - that I didn't even know existed. So in a way, Corrie introduced me to right-wing blogs. Thank you, Rachel Corrie!

OT - IDF and Police rescued an Israeli man who took a wrong turn to end up in Ramallah where he was surrounded by a raging, stone throwing mob:

Security forces came under heavy barrages of stones when they entered the Al Amari refugee camp in southern Ramallah to rescue Assi Sigawi, 28, from Giloh, an Israeli civilian who accidentally drove into the city and was surrounded by a raging Palestinian mob.

The Balestinian report on this is hilarious, though:

Palestinian reports stated that those responsible for the stone-throwing were young children and that no one intended to harm Sigawi.

Just a bunch of toddlers tossing pebbles into the street, I guess. :(

Thank G-d they were able to get to this man. Balestinian lynchings are monstrous. Even when toddlers do it. :(

One little girl (maybe 5 years old) had red hands in the exact same pose as the guy who was showing off the blood on his palms during the Ramallah lynching.

She wasn't smiling, but the adults (men, fathers) behind her were grinning themselves silly.

Responding to a question on the powers that would be vested in a second vice prime minister, Sharon made it absolutely clear that in the event that he would not be able to perform his duties, current deputy premier Ehud Olmert would step in to fill the breach. "Olmert has done his job well," he said, "and when the prime minister cannot fulfill his responsibilities, it will be Olmert who takes over."

Olmert is no better than Peres.

The only hope to prevent this government from happening is that Mickey Eitan manages to tie up the bill to amend the "basic law" to allow them to have two deputy prime ministers. What a farce! Either that or UTJ gets cold feet and they suddenly don't have a majority.

Speaking of farces, how many of you have seen Prosecution to probe whether settler leader incited to rebellion? Since when is civil disobedience "incitement"? Can you imagine Martin Luther King being placed on trial for sedition?

339 cybermonk  Mon, Dec 20, 2004 12:51:43pm

#338 Carl in Jerusalem

In today's Israel, MLK was be in administative detention. Anyone who challenges Sharon's power and scheme is marked for destruction, politically, or personally.
There is only freedom of the press and speech for those who speak against the Jewish people. Any fanatic who supports the Arabs, is against the Jewish religion or Zionism is celebrated as champions of free speech. If you feel that disengagement is wrong, that making parts of Israel Judenrein, that using the courts to support the Labor party is wrong, you are dangerous. You are an enemy of the state and could be locked up without due process. There is a civil war brewing and ultimately, Jews will fight against Jews for the right of Israel to remain a Jewish state.

340 cybermonk  Mon, Dec 20, 2004 12:52:10pm

341 rightasrain  Mon, Dec 20, 2004 12:59:33pm

Yes, I did see the story about the so-called incitement:

The Justice Ministry will 'look into' statements made by Binyamin Regional Council head Pinchas Wallerstein, calling for civil disobedience against the Gaza pullout, to decide whether he will be charged for incitement to rebellion.

(rolls eyes)

Ever since Rabin's assassination, it's open season against the right wing in Israel for whatever the heck anyone on the left feels like saying about the right (while at the same time, absolutely everything the right says is seen as incitement to murder.)

Israeli Arabs, meanwhile, conducted a VIOLENT protest in October 2000 (with tires burning, property being damaged and Jews being hauled out of cars) and they asked afterward why they aren't allowed to protest (as if violent protests are really just a form of free speech.)

The left won't say a word against the Israeli Arabs about this either (except to say that Israel was picking on them by not allowing the violence to go on.)

Israel and America both have loonie lefties. :(
