"Amrika, the Belly of the Beast"

Fri, Feb 4, 2005 at 4:18:46 pm PST

StandWithUs.com has a 6-minute video of an absolutely appalling hate speech at the University of California at Irvine, by a Muslim speaker named Amir-Abdel Malik-Ali, announced as “a specialist in international politics:” Incitement on Campus: UC Irvine, February 2, 2005.

Once again, you’re not going to believe what’s taking place on the campuses of America; after spewing antisemitic conspiracy theories and justifying suicide bombings of Israeli buses, the speaker says:

And we have to sacrifice too, while we live here ... in Am-ri-ka. The belly of the beast. The number one imperialist in the world.

...

But ... let’s call it a state, OK? And then you gonna go get some Uncle Tom Palestinian leaders to fall for this okey-doke. Two-state solution is off the table. No. One state. And check this out! One state ... majority rules. One state ... majority rules.

Us. The Muslims.

[crowd yells “Allahu Akbar!”]

Seriously, we've got to start pinning down politicians that are from the area when crap like this goes down. "Sir, where do you stand on this, and what do you suggest should be done about it?"

If our leaders won't take care of us, we'll take care of ourselves sooner or later. You can take that to the bank.

And thousands of American Soldiers have died for this ROP- POS to have the right to spew that crap. Alumni, parents, voters, students, call now and complain. The only thing that scares University officials more than silencing the so-called "voice of opression" is the voice of pissed off customers, bill payers, and benefactors.

From WND:

'That ain't suicide; that's martyrdom'
By noon on Saturday, Dec. 20, conference leaders also presented Imam Malik of Masjid Al-Islam.

(Malik is also referred to as Abdul Malik Ali, Abd Al-Malik and Amir Abdel Malik Ali. Note: This individual is not Imam Abdul R. Malik Ali.)

Malik said he had just come from addressing diplomats at the United Nations the day before. (Malik was on the conference schedule the night before but was not present.)

The imam has previously voiced empathy and support for suicide bombers, denied Muslims were involved in 9-11, characterized the war on terror as a conspiratorial Zionist plot designed to destroy Islam and Muslims, and blamed attacks on affirmative action on "the rise of the Jewish cracker," according to media reports and audio/video recordings obtained by WND. ...

In total agreement. I've had issues with the UN during "the heat" being brought on by the blogs, Fox, and the Internet media (I won't even give the rest credit).

This guy is unreal.. How do they let this happen?

So it's ok (for Freedom Fighters) to kill soldiers on R&R, out of uniform, and enjoying a quiet game of pool.

These zionist jews in the pentagon.. are telling Bush to go into Iran..

With idiots like this we should just sweep through Iran and Syria while we have the troops on the ground. Think about it, our troops are defending against insurgents in Iraq who are from Syria and Iran. If we take out those two rogue states, where would the insurgents come from then? The US can subdue both countries with the same force it took to defeat Iraq and it would then have fewer insurgents to deal with. It's pretty obvious when you look at it, the cost of staying in Iraq and fight Syrian and Iranian insurgents is probably less than the cost of taking out both regimes.

Think W is doing the math?

This hate-filled jerk has been on the indoctrination circuit for a while, but when you read this quote from a CCSF speech in 1999 during black history month you get the impression he probably wouldn't like most Muslims. He must be following the money, like all "entertainers"

Another important idea defined by Ali was that of Assabia, or supporting a person not because they are right, but just because they are the same ethnicity as you. "Do not stand with a person if they are wrong just because they are the same race as you. Stand with them because they are right.

So how does this A-hole feel about Muslim homicide bombers?

One of the first rules that a new graduate student learns if a "successful" academic career is a goal is "them that gets along, goes along, and one needs to be a "team player", all of which makes the sham of tenure the more laughable. Them that goes along are lemmings that find their strength in numbers and it is they that control the Academy. Where is the Academy? Follow your nose! Follow the perfumed odor of excrement! There you will find the "Academy".

It is difficult to understand why the far left seems hell-bent on provoking a violent showdown that would surely bring, not just the end of their power, but their personal extinction.
I think it may be simple hubris.
The institutional media have shielded them for 40 years. Like bullies who suppose that nobody will challenge their abuse, they are counting on this to continue. It is an expression of power, "whattya gonna do about it?"
They are about to find out.
It is evolution in action, left ideology has served to concentrate certain traits that are inimical to human survival. The hate-mongers and power-liars are too stupid and arrogant to see their shield collapsing right in front of them, so they don't deserve to survive.
It has been so for a billion years. These creatures have no idea what they are up against.

OK. Good question. Let's start at the top. When are we going to start pinning down the Presdent of the U.S. when crap like this goes down?

As long as Bush continues to avoid calling out the enemy who operates with impunity in our own cites (e.g. Jersey City, Queens), all other politicians are free to do the same. If he'd come out and say the truth, the others would have to react one way or the other.

If there were any Democrats with a couple of working brain cells, they'd get to the right of Bush on this.

Bush is where the pressure should be applied. I'm glad Bush beat Kerry, but I don't give a fuck about George Bush. I care about our country and our civilization. I've been waiting for going on four years now to hear Bush name our enemy, and he hasn't given any hint he's about to do it.

Malik, while speaking at Malcolm X Plaza, urged a crowd of roughly 500 to 800 to "stop calling them suicide bombers . When a person commits suicide, they are oppressed, without hope, depressed. Palestinian mothers are supporting their children who are suicide bombers, saying, 'Go honey, go!'"

Obviously those little school girls travelling on the Zionist buses are Mossad agents in disguise. How could we be so foolish to believe they were innocent little school girls. They are obviously heavily muscled Israeli soldiers on R&R being bussed around from operation to operation.

I recently spent considerable time in Japan and everywhere were young people taking digital videos with their cell phones. I think the web is a perfect place to show the world what radicals are saying on campus and in the classroom. If Ward Churchill had been stripped of his "behind the classroom door" persona a long time ago, he would not have made it past responsible scrutiny for so long.

"Power to the People" is now in the hands of every worker ant who can expose these often dangerous liars and firebrands to the light of day.

Here endeth the lesson.

The methods of those who want to destroy the Jewish state seem to have changed over time.

On May 15, 1948, the day five Arab armies invaded the new state of Israel, the secretary general of the Arab League, Azzam Pasha, said:

This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades.

That didn't work out as they planned.

On May 31, 1967, five days before the start of the Six-Day-War, the president of Iraq, Abdel Rahman Aref, said:

The existence of Israel is an error which must be rectified. This is our opportunity to wipe out the ignominy which has been with us since 1948. Our goal is clear -- to wipe Israel off the map.

That didn't work out as they planned.

A few years ago, the Chairman of the Palestinian Authority, Yasser Arafat, launched the terrafada, in an attempt to demoralize the state of Israel and cause its population to flee the terrorism. Instead, Israel has been building a splodydope fence to protect its children, and has reserved for itself the option always of zapping the terrorists.

That didn't work out as the enemies of Israel planned.

Now the enemies of Israel want to destroy the Jewish state, as this University of California at Irvine "specialist in international politics" wants, by destroying it demographically. That's what he means by calling Israel "apartheit". He means that the Palis will demand a "right of return" for the millions of descendants of descendants of 1948 regugees. That would engulf the state in civil war that would make the terrafada seem like a picnic. And it would end the existence of the Jewish state. But the population of the state of Israel, including both the Right and the Left, is not so stupid as to fall for such a suicidal path as to marry the state to a murderous and overwhelming enemy.

Perhaps in some cultures marriages can be forced. Especially on women. But Israel is not going to allow itself to be forced in marriage to a murderous and overwhelming enemy. The Left in Israel is sometimes slow to learn, but even they are not insane.

This guy has been featured on LGF before, but I bet no one remembers. In fact, his earlier speech at Berkeley was even worse than this one. The original LGF posting about the article that quoted him can be found here, and the relevant quotes, which were buried at the end of the article can be found HERE:

Abdel Malik Ali, an African-American imam affiliated with Oakland's Masjid Al Islam mosque, took the podium and sent a nervous ripple through the crowd by immediately denouncing "the white man, who is the enemy." Presently his monologue narrowed in on Daniel Pipes. Pipes, Ali declared, "can kiss our behind! Your days are numbered," Ali said sharply to an imaginary Pipes and whoever supports him. "Your days are numbered in the apartheid state of Israel and in America."

"Allahu akbar," some chanted.

"The Zionist Jews done really messed up," Ali said. "I'm talking about the Zionist Jews, not all Jews, not the Jews who are down with us -- because not all Jews are Zionists. I have to say that, otherwise I'll get called an anti-Semite."

Soft laughter shimmered through the auditorium.

Ali said the conflict between Muslims and Zionists "is an opportunity, dawg," because "we're allowed to fight against oppression. It's an act of worship. ... In America, you're mostly fighting with your tongue. But you should also learn how to fight with the sword."

Ali's remarks met with polite silence, punctuated by occasional choruses of "Allahu akbar." No protesters were visible either inside or outside the hall.

"The enemies of Islam know that when we come back to power we're gonna check 'em," Ali said before leaving. "They're gonna be checked."

...

Later that morning, Abdel Malik Ali returned to the stage. Jewelry flashed on his long delicate fingers as he outlined "the recipe for how we come to power: From an Islamic movement we graduate to an Islamic revolution, then to an Islamic state."

"Allahu akbar," came a chorus.

"We must be in power," Ali continued coolly. He rounded up his lecture by promising that "when it's all over, the only one standing is gonna be us."

"Allahu akbar."

"We ain't gonna lose. We must implement Islam as a totality," in which "Allah controls every place -- the home, the classroom, the science lab, the halls of Congress."

It's just as bad or even worse in Holland (you know, that European state which collaborated with the Nazis to murder the great majority of its Jewish citizens). Here, eminent Holocaust scholar, Professor Norman Geras, reproduces a language proficiency test which is no more and no less than a vile anti-American rant.

Idiot Nation

Extracts

"Do you feel like you live in a nation of idiots? I used to (1) console myself about the state of (2) [STUPID] in this country by repeating this to myself: Even if there are two hundred million stone-cold idiots in this country, that (3) [LEAVE] at least eighty million who'll (4) get what I (5) [SAY] - and that's still more than the populations of the United Kingdom and Iceland combined!"

"It comes as no surprise to foreigners that Americans, who love to (30) revel their simplicity would "elect" a president who (31) [RARE] reads anything - including his own briefing papers - and thinks Africa is a nation, not a continent. An idiot leader of an idiot nation."

Let's start at the top. When are we going to start pinning down the Presdent of the U.S. when crap like this goes down?

Knock yourself out. Oddly enough, in my experience I have far more influence over a local or state politician with close ties to a univerisity when compared to my influence with a president running a multi-front war, who can't be re-elected no matter what. Same as I expect better chances and a speedier response at the lower level when dealing with a bad stretch of road where I live. Suprised Bush hasn't gotten back to me on that one yet.

There's no reason you can't do both, Lord knows I have. What do you think would have been more efficient way to deal with Ward Churchill? Small groups of concerned people started talking and researching the matter among themselves, and it quickly was deemed worthy of larger attention and expidited to the front of the national consciousness. Had instead the few people who were concerned about his actions merely dropped off an e-mail at whitehouse.gov, do you think we'd be anywhere with the issue today?

We don't elect god-kings to rule over every aspect of our lives. As much as we can do for ourselves at the lowest possible level, the better off we'll all be.

In effect (literal, measurable effect that is) the far left has already resorted to lethal violence through their proxies, the Islamo-fascist terrorists.
As a sub-culture, the far left is almost entirely a product of the institutional media culture that arose in the 1960s.
The institutional media, the far left academic community, and the Islamic terrorists are simply different segments along the enemy spectrum.
In challenging the most powerful and crucial segment, the institutional media, we have set in motion a series of events that will be nothing less than revolutionary.

When I think "allahu akbar" I think beheadings, rape, honor killings, shari'a, taqiyya, and kitman. There is nothing positive to balance out these perceptions. The more I study Islam, the less I find to like about it. Maybe Muslims can turn their death cult, legal system, expansionist political system into a real religion. The clock is ticking.

Prof's Indian roots disputed

"Tracking blood lines is the business of Nazi Germany and South Africa (under apartheid)," said professor George Tinker, who teaches American Indian culture and religious tradition at the Iliff School of Theology in Denver. "That's not an Indian issue at all."
Tinker said that it should be up to the tribes themselves to decide who is an Indian.

Wait a minute, Tinker. If you don't track the bloodline like a 'nazi' then how can the tribe decide who's a member?

This man is off his rocker.

Zionism is a form of white supremacism? With half of Israel's population being as dark-skinned (or in the case of Ethiopian Jews, darker) than any Arab?

These moonbats often parrot this line. Here's how self-hating swine Alexei Sayle characterises the conflict:

The violent creation of the state of Israel and the subsequent oppression of the Palestinian people has always struck me as being one of the great injustices of our age. After all, the poor Arabs did nothing to harm the Jewish people of Europe; if the Zionists wanted a homeland, why didn't they take a piece of Germany?[Evan: ya see, Jews are generic white Euros, they'll fit right in!]

The answer is, of course, that Arabs then and now were not considered fully human by the Zionists and their supporters in the West (does that sound familiar?), and therefore their land could be stolen and they could be murdered without any qualms. This of course suited the Western powers - in truth, Israel is the last piece of colonialism, the last colony established by white Europe in the developing world[Evan: this from a Jew, but no surprises...], an aircraft- carrier for the United States to protect its oil interests and a wedge to drive between the oil producers.

It would be easy to dismiss these guys as deluded demagogues, but the fact that they hold a bit of sway is worrying.

If I remember my history correctly back in the sixties it was pretty much the same thing. They had the SDS and the Weathermen, and Jane Fonda and Donald Sutherland had their little cabaret act, FTA, or Fuck the Army, during which they told the members of their military audiences to either go AWOL or shoot their CO in the back while out on maneuvers in Vietnam. They made it into a movie in the early seventies, the movie still plays overseas and the last I heard, it was playing in Fallujah. Of course Fonda also said that we should get down on our hands and knees and wish we had Communism.

They also proclaimed that Big Brother, the government, would snatch anyone who complained against the war and throw them into prison, and that the po-lice were pigs. The only ones thrown into jail were the ones who blew up stuff and killed people, everyone else is still walking the streets. Like Fonda, Sutherland, and Kerry. Who just ran for President and had over 50 million votes.

"I'm assuming you mean the blogoshpere's part in bringing down Dan Rather."

In part, but the opposition is much, much more broadly based than that. It includes all the social and cultural elements that are challenging the power of the institutional media culture as it developed in the 1960s.
The latter was a de facto monopoly. In the early 1970s, perhaps 10 men set the agenda for the mass media and alternates were few and far between. The first challenge came from cable television, which the institutional media managed to co-opt at first but which is now beginning to assert itself in ideological competition.
The second challenge was from talk radio, which resulted directly from the repeal of the Orwellian titled "Fairness Doctrine".

The internet itself challenges the institutional media culture is ways that extend far beyond the blogosphere. Keep in mind that Free Republic, for example, is not a blog at all.

Beyond the direct opposition, the net provides ordinary people with an unprecedented ability to check many instutional media claims and characterizations.
For example, "Did the Pentagon really say that?" During the Vietnam War, ordinary people had to take the media's word for this.
Today, it is easy to check directly, bypassing the agenda-driven media spin and strawmen.

Essentially, the net takes away the "MSM's" ability to censor reality. Blogs are only a small part of it. The institutional media have already launched a campaign to discredit the blogs in general, sacrificing their own supporters in the blogosphere to do so.
It will be a useless sacrifice because it is so easy for people to see for themselves what the blogs really are. The attack on the blogosphere will fail because it depends crucially on media authority and credibilty. These, in turn, depend on a monopoly that the MSM no longer have.

The institutional media will indeed respond by evolving. This will mean abandoning the characteristic authoritarian media culture of the 1960s, which is what we really seek. Their evolution does not thwart our goal, it is our goal.

BTW, two guys (students) showed up on Cavuto on FOX tonight defending Ward Churchill. I decided to google the pair who were a junior male version of Jeananne Garofalo. Their names are Chris Maes and Dustin Craun. I couldn't find much on Maes other than wherever Dustin shows up, Maes shows up. At the Board of Reagent meeting the pair were fairly vocal and were accompanied by a guy by the name of Shaheed Aleem who was arrested at the meeting. Here's a link to a description of the meeting and the two protesters shouting. I did find some info on Dustin Craun who promoted Desmond Tutu's visit to the US last year.

"...Many in the audience shouted dismay at there being no public commentary period to talk about Churchill, who stepped down from his post as CU ethnic studies department chair Monday.

""Please understand you're going to start a new era of McCarthyism if you allow this," CU-Boulder ethnic studies major Dustin Craun shouted at the regents before he was escorted out of the meeting.

"Another man shouted, "please invite us to your next book burning."

""This is absurd! This is supposed to be a Democracy!" shouted Chris Maes, a CU-Boulder senior, as police physically removed vocal protester Shareef Aleem.

"Aleem was arrested after shouting and struggling with police officers. He was being held in the city jail on $10,000 bond Thursday evening on suspicion of second-degree assault on an officer and disorderly conduct, university spokeswoman Sarah Ellis said.

"It was unclear whether he was a student.

"Metro State student Zoe Williams was accidentally taken down in the scuffle with Aleem, which ultimately became so wild and heated it ended the meeting on the spot.

""When the (cop) grabbed Shareef, the two of them landed on top of me," she said. "I actually had a feeling that something was going to happen."

"Students and citizens shouted that the Regents were stifling free speech, shouting out references to fascism, McCarthyism and book burnings as the nine members of the Board and CU President Elizabeth Hoffman expeditiously departed from their own meeting.

"I'm disappointed they felt they had to disrupt the meeting that particular way and not allow the regents and myself to speak," Hoffman said afterward...."

On "The Big Story" with John Gibson, "judge" Andrew Napolitano explained why public schools cannot punish or censor employees' speech, because the school is the "government" and the government cannot punish the speech of its employees.

On O'Reilly just now (John Gibson subbing for the bloviator in chief) there was a first amendment "attorney" talking about the Oregon school forcing an employee to remove a "Support Our Troops" bumper sticker from his school-owned truck. The "attorney" explained how a government school can censor and punish the speech of its employees.

These people have no idea WTF they are talking about. They're just making shit up as they go along.

And, no, the 1st Amendment does not protect calls for the overthrow of the government.

And, since nobody bothered to ask, our politicians are worse than this jihadi turd in the sense that at the federal level at least, they are sworn to "preserve, protect and defend" the Constitution.

They are not. The jihadi is at least open and honest about his agenda.

Iraqi villagers kill 5 insurgents

The residents of a small Iraqi village have killed five insurgents who had attacked them for voting in last weekend's national elections.

Several other insurgents were also wounded.

The insurgents raided the village of al-Mudhiryah south of Baghdad after warning its inhabitants not to vote in the election.

The villagers fought back, killing five of the insurgents and wounding eight others.

The insurgents' cars were then set alight.

Al-Mudhiryah's tribal sheikh says his people are sick of being threatened by Islamic extremists.

"Abdel" is an idiot. Calling him an "African-American" is a disgrace to decent Afrimericans** who worked hard to build this country up. Most of whom wouldn't take on the name "Slave"*.

Don't lump decent people like Matthew Henson, Dr. Martin Luther King, Wesley Snipes, and --yes--Denzel Washington(he wasn't Malcolm X; he just played him in a crappy movie...) in with Abdel Stupid. Don't even drag in the boxer formerly known as Cassius Clay. They're good, decent folk; even the former Lakers center who thinks the name "ABDUL" is a fine name.

Seriously, what compels Afrimerican men to take on Islam, anyhoo? If you hate Christianity that much because of a few wealthy white slave owners that died almost 200 years ago, Wesley Snipes converted to Buddhism(a REAL religion of peace), violent action flicks notwithstanding. There's Hinduism, Judaism, Shinto, Zoroastrianism, Wicca.

Anything but this sick, misogynistic ideology that sucks the native intelligence out of human beings of all skin types.

(by "we" in this segment, I mean "black people".)

From 1865 until the mid-60s(that's a CENTURY), we invented the traffic light, open-heart surgery, and planted the US flag on top of the world. We found 300 ways to use a peanut. We were teachers, doctors, poets, & playwrights as well as athletes & musicians. We were philosopher/reverend/scholar politicians who stood for righteousness and called upon common human decency.

(end royal "we" segment.)

Please tell me--WTF HAPPENED! I have some suspicions, but had Islam not been a mind-negating influence, I'm sure even "affirmative action" and rap music(which wasn't always crap like now....) wouldn't have warped my "ethnic group's" mind like this.

I sincerely hope that Dubya and the Republicans continue to reach out to more Afrimericans--or rather, individuals like me--by simply presenting us with real options and solutions, instead of the platitudes and handouts we must have been fed for decades.

But more important than that, I really want African-Americans to reexamine Islam.

(really, of all the religions in the world, [royal "we" again] we chose this stinker!? DOUSHITE!? (that means "WHY!?" in Japanese: the people, while historically quite bloodthirsty, had real honor and truth in their beliefs/precepts.)

* [The word "abd" means "black" but also means slave. How do you think we got to the US in the first place!? The Arab Muslims sold my ancestors over the Atlantic. I blame Islam, and Allah will never be forgiven.

I will never understand why idiot "afrimericans" embraced this religion when Christianity--which had an Ethiopian missionary and preceded Islam by centuries!--was superior in every respect.]

** (Afrimerican: my personal word for African-American, black, etc. I wouldn't use these designations at all, as I'm not a Power Ranger Zeo or a color; however, the shorthand is needed.

Honestly, I was born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Charleston, SC, and lived in Lakeland, FL for three years. For me to call myself an African-American is an insult to true immigrants from Africa, including Kim du Toit.)

- - -

I am happy, proud, and grateful to be an American. My ancestral past was dark and cloudy, and that can't be changed. No amount of Islam, "race quota" or Confederate flag-hating will change the fact that my ancestors were once slaves here, probably sold at the old market in downtown Charleston.

But I recognize what good the Founding Fathers did. And Lincoln. And so I forgive the slave-owning Fathers for...being dependably, fallibly human. I forgive the wealthy plantation owners for the same.

I just wish Abdel and other hostile Afrimerican Muslim converts would do the same. Especially old bakayarou(dumbass) Louie Wrath of Farrakhan--so he could shut up.

Great Post. As a guy who works in the City of Detroit, I see first hand every day what the "Great Society" agenda hath wrought. Many of my "Afrimerican" co-workers are starting to see that the blind loyalty to the Democrat party has been a complete losing proposition, and the continuing onslaught from the Demo moonbat wing aimed at everything sacred to the Christian religion is becoming too much to simply ignore. Those whom I've seen convert have become very angry at their years of wasted effort helping prop up manipulative Dems.

Many Afrimericans will eventually find a perfect fit in the Republican party of opportunity, liberty, self determination, and moral guidance instead of the Democrat party of privelege, indoctrination, pity, and moral equivalence.

A theory for the attraction

Christianity doesn't sanction hating the western culture, white people etc .

Islam does
It provides a channel for any anger and grievences. It sanctions hating and wishing to destroy in the name of Islam

291 Ariana  Fri, Feb 4, 2005 5:15:52pm

Before anyone starts bringing up European repressions of different branches of Christianity.. I don't mean how kings and politicians twisted its meaning, I mean the actual teachings don't sanction killing and teach forgiveness of those who harm you. That belief system doesn't support violence

I know this guy. I've seen a lot of him lately.

This is his theory on western foreign policy. It occurs in these steps.

1) Western cultural values are exported to the world.
2) Western values bring western corporations.
3) Corporations set up shop.
4) Christian missionairies then follow becuase the corporations pay for a lot of security.
5) Christians take over the value system.

He theorizes that the "Zionists" are the puppeteers to the christian missionaries.

The majority of Arabs already agreed. They agreed to flee their homes so the Arab states could kill all the Jews and create the habitat for the Arabs to return. They agreed to persecute all the Jews in the Arab world to force them to flee to Israel so they would be easier to destroy.

You know the rest.

Sounds good to me, but "militant Islam" is too vaguely defined, and the main thing is that this would be trumpeted as proof that "Islam is under attack by America" and is therefore only defending itself, yammer yammer...

anybody who has called for the replacement of the US government with a shar'ia state should be detained or deported as an enemy agent.

Bingo. Or how about, anyone who has advocated overthrow of the US govt through any means. I don't know how any sane and non-treasonous American can argue against that. They want to sponsor Muslim candidates for elected office - fine. But any person or organization that openly calls for destroying the govt and throwing away the US Constitution is by definition an enemy of America and should be dealt with accordingly.

As a state worker (that's staff,NOTfaculty, and there is a large distinction)I have to stand there and listen to this spew. All this man spouted was hate for my country, and the state of Isreal. He was almost, promoting violence during the speech. I tried to file a complaint about hate speech on campus, but was told that in order to avoid any violation of his free speech rights, there was nothing that could be done. My question at that time was, where is my freedom of speech? As a state employee, I can't get up to voice my opinion, which, I assure you would be completely diffrerent from this persons.
I have read LGF for over a year now and have just started posting.I almost feel that I know some of you, and although I have been a lurker, I have felt akin to you as we have the same political outlook. What is important about this incident is that Muslim Student Organizations in California frequently invite this man as their guest to talk about Islam to muslims and non-muslims. His fervor is brought back again and again.

The behavior is similar to that of a "heel"(bad guy) in sports entertainment wrestling. They're zealous, crazy and bonkers, but the "heel" is secretly liked while Amir should be loathed. Yet the Muslim groups will continue to bring him back again and again.

We don't elect god-kings to rule over every aspect of our lives. As much as we can do for ourselves at the lowest possible level, the better off we'll all be.

Apologies for not having responded earlier. I had to drop off the thread soon after posting last night.

I don't expect the President to be concerned about highway potholes, and I would not compare a pothole to the presence of Islamofascists openly recruiting, fund-raising, propagandizing, plotting and murdering.

Absolutely right, we citizens have to do all we can at whatever level we can. But, a war should not have to be a grass-roots-up effort.

I don't expect or want the President to be involved in "every aspect of our lives", but I do expect the President to properly address the single most important aspect of all or our lives, that being the fact that Islamist fanatics want to kill us and our families, and that they are right here in our cities and on our campuses, right under the noses of our “homeland security” authorities, moving forward with their plans..

Bush has not properly addressed that aspect of our lives. The fact that these creeps are in our midst, not hiding, but brazenly, in our faces, shouting out their intentions, is due to the failure of all our "leaders", from the top down, to put our national defense above political correctness.

Nor does Bush have to get involved personally in every particular case such as UofC or Ward Churchill. Reagan did not have to respond to every Pinko whack-job after he said what he said about Communism. But, the fact that he did say it set in motion the chain of events that led to the end of the Soviet empire.

What Bush does have to do is to come out and plainly state the truth, we are at war with Islamists, (not "Terror", which is an emotion, or even "Terrorism", which is a tactic).

If Bush were to do so, we citizens might not have to do all the heavy lifting to out the Ward Churchills and Amir-Abdel Malik-Alis.

I expect Bush to lead. He has done some good, but in this aspect, the most important aspect, he has failed to lead.

All this is expected from the UC system. Let this fool spew his rant (though state funds shouldn't go to it). The louder he squeals the more ridiculous he sounds. Eventually even the LLL will see that these people are completely opposed to EVERY tenet of the civilized world. These people will NOT take over the world folks. Fundamentally because they represent a step backward and I don't believe the message will find fertile ground outside the middle east and its artificial pockets around the world. Will it be a struggle to check and eliminate them - yes. Will we have to put our protection of individual rights on a shelf for a bit -yes. Will Islam be around in 50 years? - maybe - if this cancerous element is removed from their religion. Will we succeed - yes. Teach your children what is at stake. Learn to shoot if you don't know how. Make friends with a Hindu or Buddhist while we're at it:)

One has to wonder who's listening to this guy and thinking... oh yeah! That's what I'm talking about!

Because we should find those people and ship them off to Iran or Syria ... whatever it's all good.

its like 'we' have to go underground to defend our country...

I am more and more worried...

I think that your comment should be changed to:

It's LIKELY we have to go underground to defend our Country.

I prefer the "one stout rope" solution for traitors and Islamic fifth columnists.

I live near UCI, I've investigated them in the past, and here is what you are going to get from the deans:

They have a right to their opinions. Unless threats or ethnic slurs were made, our hands are tied...

It's the old "free speech" excuse. At a university, it doesn't matter how nasty someone is to a politician, government, or an individual, whether anything they say is true or not, just that no one is threatened with violence.
Trust me, I'm an expert in this problem. There are ways around the "free speech" issue, for example:

1. Were any university or student funds used?
2. Who actually paid for this event?

If university funds were used, people could lose their jobs. If the funding source was off-campus, it could lead to a major scandal.

Any California lawyers out there want to look into this matter with me?

Just read the
World Net Daily article on this "Amir," Arabic for "Prince" -- he is indeed a racist and should not have been invited.

There are now grounds to cause the university legal problems.

I live in the area, I'm a well known journalist, but not a lawyer. A local California lawyer is needed to do this, one with shark's teeth.

I know what needs to be done. Trust me.

One of the human details I've noticed after a couple of years of Israel advocacy is that the hardcore Israel-haters are often palpably stupid. I'm not talking here about moral idiocy or ignorance of history. I mean these people are often of a lower stratum of intelligence. This accords with one of the basic premises I've adopted since 9/11: that utopianism is a quick-fix mindset to which the superstitious and stupid are prone; and Jew-hatred is a hallmark of (at least modern) utopianism.

One of the basic ways in which this stupidity manifests itself is in a chronic inability to spell "Israel" in written media. There are principled anti-Zionists, and there are "Isreal"-haters. Notice how Malik Ali, so tangibly dumb in his oration, actually says "Isreal" repeatedly. I must say this is the first time I've seen it carry over from writing into speech.
