I haven’t been back to this thread of ugliness at The Washington Monthly, but a reader just emailed to let me know that Kevin Drum has posted the following:

O.K. LGF children - that’s enough. Charles Johnson has not returned to confirm / deny the charges, so I am shutting down this thread.

Since you can’t be bothered to read what I posted here at LGF, Kevin, I’ll reiterate. I have not “returned to confirm/deny the charges” (what “charges?” why don’t you be a man and make your so-called “charges” in public?) because I did not post there in the first place.

You must be nuts if you think I would post at your blog. You have a really vile group of lunatics and stalkers in there pretending to be me, and pretending to be other LGF readers, posting threatening, libelous comments and inventing ridiculous conspiracy theories, and your only response is to blame ... me? You’re shutting down the thread because of ... me?

Nice work. This is why the left is so marginalized, and can’t win at anything.
