WhatReallyHappened at Yahoo News

Tue, Apr 19, 2005 at 4:56:03 pm PDT

I’ve posted many entries about Google News and their apparent attraction to anti-American, conspiracy, and radical Islamic sites; and we’re not talking simply about alternate points of view, but downright insane places that were formerly found only on the lunatic fringe.

But Google’s isn’t the only news service engaged in this creeping normalization of the utterly crazy. On April 1 we discovered Yahoo News linking to an article at a radical Islamist site by a Holocaust denier.

Today LGF reader Megan points out that on this page at Yahoo’s coverage of the Oklahoma City Bombing, one of the links under “Related Web Sites” leads to this page at the notorious tinfoil-hat conspiracy peddler WhatReallyHappened.com.

Here’s a screenshot of the link:

Compare Electricity Prices in your area. Texas Electricity is deregulated; you have the right to choose Texas Electric Rates from among many Texas Electric Companies.

Ignorance is blix.
