-RetweetTerror Supporter Seethes Over Nonexistent Koran Abuse

Sat, Jun 11, 2005 at 4:21:47 pm PDT

In the Detroit News, here’s another op-ed by a Muslim leader, Imam Mohammad Ali Elahi, whining and seething about Koran “desecration” and demanding apologies, new laws, and punishment for the nonexistent perpetrators: Abuse of Quran hurts U.S. democracy push. (Hat tip: Alex.)

No need to quote it; by now most LGF readers can probably write nonsensical articles like this themselves.

But a more pertinent and outrageous fact is that in a previous piece for the Detroit News, Imam Mohammad Ali Elahi went on record praising the thoroughly evil “spiritual leader” of the terrorist gang Hamas, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, as a saint and a man of peace with “a heart full of love:” Peace still possible despite sheik’s killing.

Sheik Yassin, the Palestinian spiritual leader, had a heart full of love for humanity, especially for the poor and suffering. He condemned the explosion in the Turkish synagogue, supported a ceasefire with Israel if Israel agreed to stop assassinations, and supported a series of negotiations based on the 1967 borders. He wanted to see the peace process moving forward.

Shame on the Detroit News for giving a voice to terror apologists like this.
