-RetweetNew and Improved: LGF News

The LGF News page has been available here for over a year, but I’ve done some work to bring it up to date—and as usual, digging into the code inspires improvements in other areas as well. The latest version caches the feeds (at 15-minute intervals) to improve performance on the LGF end and lessen bandwidth usage at the target site, and includes feeds from a broad selection of mainstream media, international, and blog sites of interest (more blogs to be added soon). Also take note of the search function, which works with either Yahoo News or Wired—appealing to both policy wonks and silicon geeks. And the Yahoo newsfeeds now include thumbnail photos to aid the visually inclined.
