A few black colleagues took great offense at his choice of words and created an uproar, after which the offending employee offered his resignation. Mayor Anthony Williams, who by the way is black, to his great credit refused the resignation and subtly suggested that those offended should buy a dictionary.

This Burger King story is the same kind of thing, and would be hilarious if the implications weren't so ominous in what it portends for the future.

He got in SO much trouble that tho he was born in this area, and loved this area, he decided that any real future was NOT in the DC area and he left. He is now, because of his own talent, the top Talk Show Host in the area he moved to. Just went National.

He wouldn't want to speak about this incident Im sure, but it happened and these "flaps" have real Consequences to real people.
