-RetweetReuters Takes ANSWER's Word for It

Sat, Sep 24, 2005 at 5:43:35 pm PDT

Al-Reuters reports more than 100,000 people at the “anti-war” tantrums in DC: Thousands protest Iraq war, globalization.

The crowds swelled throughout the day, and by late afternoon organizers of the anti-war demonstration said 300,000 people had assembled — exceeding an anticipated 100,000. Washington police declined to comment on the size of the rally.

Notice that Reuters’ source is the cheery Stalinist outgrowth of the Workers World Party, International ANSWER.

Notice also: there are still no photos on the wires that back up this claim—and one that refutes it.
