-RetweetRoP: "The Mushroom Cloud is On Its Way!"

Fri, Apr 21, 2006 at 4:00:36 pm PDT

Demonstrating outside the Israeli consulate in Manhattan to gloat over the suicide bombing in Tel Aviv, the Queens-based radical group calling itself the Islamic Thinkers Society (lgf: search) chanted genocidal slogans and threats of nuclear holocaust: Islamists’ message to Israel at New York City rally: “The mushroom cloud is on its way!”

Excerpts:
Leader (in Arabic): With our blood and our lives we will liberate al Aqsa!
[The rest also respond in Arabic:] With our blood and our lives we will liberate al Aqsa!

Israeli Zionists What do you say? The real Holocaust is on its way
Takbeer!
Response: Allahu Akbar!
Takbeer!
Response: Allahu Akbar!

Israeli Zionists, What do you say?
How many women have you raped today?
Israeli Zionists, What do you say?
How many children have you killed today?

Zionists, Zionists You will pay! The Wrath of Allah is on its way!
Israeli Zionists You shall pay! The Wrath of Allah is on its way!
The mushroom cloud is on its way! The real Holocaust is on its way!

We are not your average Muslims, We are the Muslims of Was al Sunnah

We will not accept the United Nations, they are the criminals themselves
They get paid by the Israeli and the US government to do their job.
We don’t recognize United Nations as a body
We only recognize Allah

Israel won’t last long ... Indeed, Allah will repeat the Holocaust right on the soil of Israel
Takbeer!
Response: Allahu Akbar!

* * *
No wonder they call you sons of apes and pigs because that’s what you are.

We know many government services are watching us
Such as the FBI ... CIA ... Mossad, Homeland Security ...
We know we are getting on their nerves
And so are you ... .
So we say the hell with you!
May the FBI burn in Hell
CIA burn in Hell
Mossad burn in Hell
Homeland Security burn in hell!!

Islam will dominate the world
Islam is the only solution
Islam will dominate the world
Islam is the only solution
Takbeer!
La ilaha il Allah, Muhammad-ur Rasool Allah

* * *
Another mushroom cloud, right in the midst of Israel!
Takbeer!! Allahu Akbar!

Another mushroom cloud, right in the midst of Israel!

So I guess they really don't want "their land" back?

Morons.

8 ScottG  Fri, Apr 21, 2006 2:05:38pm

I'm sure it just translated badly. I'll bet in English it says something completely different. You know, like "we love everyone, let's be friends..."

Let more of them in...it's a religion of peace!

10 tompain  Fri, Apr 21, 2006 2:08:01pm

Good grief. In my hometown. Less than five years after they cause our city unimaginable death and suffering, Islamists have the nerve to raise their voices in our streets. And we do nothing.

"Islamic Thinkers...?"

Wow. Talk about two words that should never be used in the same sentence.

It gets better, more from Emerson's article:

"We, the Muslims of Islamic Thinkers Society condemn the arrests of the sincere Muslim Da’ees (activists) in UK. We condemn the house raids of Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad, Anjem Choudary (Ex-Leader of Al-Muhajiroun UK), Abdel Rahman Saleem (Muslim Youth Organisation), Umran Javed (Followers of Ahl Us Sunnah Wal Jama'ah), Abdul Muhid (Al-Ghurabaa), and Omar Zaheer (Muslims in the UK). The raids, which violated the honor of the women of the household when the police entered at 2am is something we will not tolerate and stay silent about."

Now they're really mad...

OT: MSM says GWB' good economy and low unemployment is bad for you and will kill you:

A Good Economy May Be Hazardous to Your Health
Inc.com
By Drew Armstrong

New research shows a potential link between prosperous times and fatal heart attacks.

Careful what you wish for. You're more likely to die from a heart attack when the economy is strong and unemployment is low, new research shows.

An uptick in the nation's economy corresponds to an increased number of fatal heart attacks, according to a recent study by University of North Carolina-Greensboro economist Christopher Ruhm. The study, which tracked heart attacks against economic activity from 1979 to 1998, found that when unemployment drops by 1%, the number of heart-attack fatalities grows by 1.3%. Why? A go-go economy generally means people are working more -- and have less time to take care of themselves.

Interesting to see who the CIA leaker is.

The report says there were numerous contacts between Iraqi agents and members of Al Qaeda. For example, the commission concluded that in March 1998 two members of Mr. bin Laden’s organization met with members of Iraq’s intelligence services, and in July an Iraqi delegation traveled to Afghanistan. In 1999, the report says that Iraq reportedly offered Mr. bin Laden safe haven, but was rejected.

But the commission concluded, “To date we have seen no evidence that these or the earlier contacts ever developed into a collaborative operational relationship. Nor have we seen evidence indicating that Iraq cooperated with al Qaeda in developing or carrying out any attacks against the United States.”

The commission also examined what President Clinton said was a chemical weapons factory in Khartoum, Sudan that he ordered bombed in August 1998.

At the time, CIA officials told reporters that the al-Shifa facility was owned indirectly by Mr.bin Laden; Iraqi technicians were present on the site; and that the precursor chemical EMPTA used in the manufacturing of VX gas was found in soil samples outside the gate of the factory.

The report says Mr. Clinton’s counterterrorism czar, Richard Clarke, believed that Mr. bin Laden clearly would have access to the VX produced there.

But it also says Mary McCarthy, the national security council’s senior director responsible for intelligence, warned Mr. Clinton’s national security adviser, Sandy Berger “we will need much better intelligence on this facility before we seriously consider any options,” and that the link between al Shifa and Mr.bin Laden was “rather uncertain at this point.”

So let's see. Don't go after bin Laden and later sell out your country. Again.

Nice job, Mary.

i was thinking it sounded very familiar too. apart from the obvious ummah collective aspect there is probably some international headquarters that distriubute these ridiculous chants.

and these seemed very familiar

"Israeli Zionists What do you say? The real Holocaust is on its way"

remember the signs from the 3rd of feb hate march in london where one sign said along the lines of "the real holocaust is on its way"?

"Zionists, Zionists You will pay! The Wrath of Allah is on its way!
Israeli Zionists You shall pay! The Wrath of Allah is on its way!
The mushroom cloud is on its way! The real Holocaust is on its way!"

if you get a chance watch the 3rd of feb rally video (the nefa foundation vid)

i think they were chanting something like "uk you will pay, 7/7 on it's way etc..."(about halfway through the vid)

maybe there is something to the similarities

More on the traitor McCarthy.

Prior to joining CSIS in August 2001, Mary O. McCarthy was a senior policy adviser to the CIA's deputy director for science and technology. Until July 2001, she served as special assistant to the president and senior director for intelligence programs on the National Security Council (NSC) Staff, under both Presidents Clinton and Bush. From 1991 until her appointment to the NSC, McCarthy served on the National Intelligence Council. She began her government service as an analyst, then manager, in CIA's Directorate of Intelligence, holding positions in both African and Latin American analysis. From 1979 to 1984 she was employed by BERI, S.A., conducting financial, operational, and political risk assessments for multinational companies and banks. Previously she had taught at the University of Minnesota and was director of the Social Science Data Archive at Yale University. McCarthy has a B.A. and M.A. in history from Michigan State University, an M.A. in library science from the University of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. in history from the University of Minnesota. She is the author of Social Change and the Growth of British Power in the Gold Coast (University Press of America, 1983).

Sorry. Alleged traitor.

Of all things which could be considered free speech, they said that threats like these "cut off the head of those who insult Islam" and "the mushroom cloud is coming" are not free speech but actually threats. You can see the discussion on the Ayn Rand Institute website but you have to register.

Let's make a little adjustment:

"America does not exist = Muslims comfortable."

May they be unconfortable forevermore.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”—Samuel Adams

He's way more charitable than I.

"Take your thirty pieces and your slave's rag and get the f**k out of my sight. We don't need you or your kibutzing. Enjoy sucking muslim c**k. You put the chains on yourselves. I hope they're as heavy as neutron star matter. Welcome to the hall of traitors motherf**kers, and look forward to us remembering you when we kick your master's asses. At 74, U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy still roars
Fri Apr 21, 2006 8:08am ET

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - At 74, Edward Kennedy still roars as one of America's leading liberal voices, longest serving U.S. senators and most polarizing political figures.

While most people his age are retired, Kennedy shrugs off an achy back and heads toward anticipated re-election in November to an eighth six-year term.

"There's a lot to do," he said in a recent interview when asked to explain what even critics describe as his seemingly tireless efforts on behalf of the downtrodden.

"I think most of all it's the injustice that I continue to see and the opportunity to have some impact on it," the white-haired Massachusetts Democrat said.

Kennedy is now helping lead a drive to revamp U.S. immigration laws while he keeps speaking out on such trademark issues as civil rights, education and health care.

Time magazine recently named Kennedy as one of "America's 10 best senators," calling him "the dealmaker." The recognition comes nearly 37 years after the Chappaquiddick scandal that tarnished his reputation and prospects of becoming president.

At rallies, congressional hearings and in the Senate, Kennedy orates with a booming voice. Sometimes it has the cadence of a drum roll, other times the fury of fireworks.

In his office this day, he talks softly and slowly.

Muslim Women Want Single-Sex Workouts

"In Islam, there are codes of modesty for both genders," said Ammerah Saidi, 23, of Dearborn. "When you're working out, you're not dressed modestly, and you're bending in provocative ways, so you can't be working out with the opposite gender."

The company is reviewing the women's concerns, said Jodi Berry, administrative director for Fitness USA. But the company said that the women's written contracts say nothing about gender.

These folks also seem to hate the Ayahtollah Khomeini and Shi'ites in general...

Check out this strange article from the Islamic Thinkers Society website:

Iran's Transexual Revolution

Milad gives thanks to Allah five times a day and, while doing so, always offers a special prayer to the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, "without whom," he says, "every transexual would have had to leave Iran. He was the first to issue a fatwa authorising a man or woman to change their sex."

More than 15 years after Khomeini's death, the cleric's unlikely religious judgement means that Iran now has one of the world's largest populations of transexuals, and the fatwa itself has become the stuff of legend. "A theology student told me that he delivered his verdict after he was contacted by a couple who no longer experienced any physical pleasure. He advised them to change sex and, once the woman had become a man and the man a woman, then to remarry," says Mahnaz Javaheri, 42, the mother of Athena, a 20-year-old who, as she puts it, "needed to be freed of her man's body". A devout Muslim, Mahnaz says that if the three imams she consulted hadn't given their permission, she would never have let her son Hadi become Athena, "even if it meant him committing suicide. These three great ayatollahs all said that he should have the operation as soon as possible."

The real story behind Khomeini's fatwa is scarcely less dramatic than the apocryphal version. He issued it in 1983, after a man named Fereydoon, who had made several unsuccessful attempts to gain an audience with the Iranian leader, eventually forced his way into Khomeini's private rooms. Fereydoon persuaded the cleric that he was a woman trapped in as man's body by revealing the breasts he had grown thanks to a course of hormone treatment...

It gets weirder.

Probation in Oakland liquor store vandalism

The other five men are expected back in court May 12, although one, Dyamen Williams, currently is a fugitive after he failed to appear in court on an unrelated gun charge.

Several of the men have admitted affiliations with the Your Black Muslim Bakery chain, a network of businesses owned and operated by a group that claims inspiration from -- but no affiliation with -- the Nation of Islam or its leader, Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Officials of the bakery chain, including one of the defendants, have publicly criticized the large number of liquor stores in West Oakland and other predominantly black neighborhoods. Consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden by the Muslim religion.

I found this very cool web page searching for "average muslim" Common Logical Fallacies Made By Muslims Here's one of them that applies here.

6. The Fallacy of Force: The Qur'an commands Muslims to wage war against non-Muslims and apostates (Surah 5:33; 9:5, 29).

Some Muslims use a false analogy to answer this argument. They respond by saying, "Well, what about the Crusades? You Christians use violence just like Muslims."

It is logically erroneous to set up a parallel between Muslims killing people in obedience to the Qur'an and Christians killing people in disobedience to the Bible. While the Qur'an commands Jihad, the New Testament forbids it.

It flies in the face of reason, but Hate Speech seems to be okie dokie in our society, thanks to case law determined by some idiot judges. This makes no sense to me in striking down a City Ordinance against this type of hate speech as we are talking about on this thread:

Therefore, city's bias-motivated crime ordinance, interpreted as banning the use of fighting words known to offend on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, or gender, but not on such other possible bases as political affiliation, union membership, or homosexuality, was invalidated for its content discrimination. ''The First Amendment does not permit [the city] to impose special prohibitions on those speakers who express views on disfavored subjects.''111

The actual title of this phrase is takbīr (Arabic: تَكْبِي& #1585;‎), while the phrase itself is "Allahu Akbar". In the Islamic world, instead of applause, often someone will yell "takbīr" and the crowd will respond "Allahu Akbar" in chorus. In many places, this is a fairly recent phenomenon brought about by a reaction to Westernization.

Was wondering what was allowed, or not allowed. Geez...

What makes me livid is that this type of threatening speech is allowed. Against any group.

We could go to the Saudi {insert muslim government here} Embassy and scream the same crap.

We would be disbanded or called racists.

I just can't stand this double standard.

So successful cultures have to just take this crap from the failed cultures because we see them as at a disadvantage somehow?

I was quite disappointed to read the article as I was expecting that they would also be burning some cars as a homage to their co-religionist " youths" in France. Where is muslim solidarity? When do these slime intend to go to the WTC site and stage a similiar celebration? Maybe they are too scared that some construction workers in the area would see them and beat the crap out of them. If they are all so manly may I suggest they volunteer become Jihadi or Hamasnik qassam firers, aka dead meat, in Gaza. Some artillery rounds will send them right where they need to go.

You'll note that she flunked a lie detector test which must mean she lied about leaking the information in the first place.

eh, it depends on how it was done. Sometimes they might tell you to answer "no" to all questions and check the results, then run another series of questions, then stop and interview you some more, then run more questions by you on the machine, etc. Polygraphs aren't difinitive which is why they can't be used to fire someone but they can be an "interview" aid.

If someone is afraid that they might be accused of something they didn't do, it can cause the polygraph to indicate a physiological change when asked a sensative question. So the results of the polygraph itself is more of an indicator of possible deception than proof of deception.

(Back on topic)

If their speech is not "incitement to violence" then that phrase has lost all meaning.

The main purpose of government is to protect law-abiding citizens from violence, or threats of violence.

If the government can't or won't do that, then sooner or later ordinary citizens will take the law into their own hands. And that is something none of us should ever want to see.

#174 St. Pancake - As Thomas Jefferson and James Madison would probably say "hate speech" is when the majority of American citizens determines that it is so.
I don't like hearing people say Sieg Heil. I don't like hearing people say I hate N**ggers or I hate
Honkeys or I hate Jews, but as I indicated before, I hate even more that the government decides for us
what is and is not permissable speech (again, short of that which is intended to or is an attempt to incite violence against a person or group of people).
Imagine, if you will, Ms. Justice Ginzberg telling us what we can and cannot say. That's why, as abhorrent to me as it was, I think the ACLU (back in the day) was right in protecting the American Nazi Party's rights to parade in Skokie, Illinois.
I hate Nazi's and had I lived in or near Skokie I would have been out there counterprotesting in very impolite language the mofos of the Nazi party. I wouldn't want the government saying I can't do or say that. Intellectual consistency requires, therefore, that the American Nazi Party had a right to disseminate it's views in the American Marketplace of ideas.

#178 godfrey - there is a significant difference between committing assault and battery - that is physically attacking someone - and calling them names.
Our Founding Fathers knew only too well what happens when the government regulates who can say what. What happens is that people only get to say what the government wants them to say.

And BTW, I'm also against adding punishment to crimes commmited agaisnst certain classes of people.
If someone murders a gay man, he should be put to death (or at least life in prison w/o parole). The fact that he yelled sexual insults while he was killing him shouldn't add to his penalty - that sets up one or more classes of people in our society who's lives are considered more valuable than others.

Jewels,

At least these enemies identify themselves:

Consider Thomas Friedman’s column in The New York Times today, and its implications.

Friedman, who still supports the Iraq war, opens by declaring that given a choice between a nuclear Iran and an attack on that country engineered by the White House, he would choose the former. That’s how little he trusts the diplomatic and military chops of Bush, Rumsfeld, Condi and Co. He cites “the level of incompetence that the Bush team has displayed in Iraq, and its refusal to acknowledge any mistakes or remove those who made them.”

But then he goes on: “I look at the Bush national security officials much the way I look at drunken drivers. I just want to take away their foreign policy driver's licenses for the next three years. Sorry, boys and girls, you have to stay home now -- or take a taxi. ... You will not be driving alone. Not with my car.”

Yes, just what we need, the NY Times setting foreign policy.

There has to be limits. A counter example: How can anything be classified if the freedom of speech trumps all?

This is not some inebriated dolt sitting on a bar stool and pontificating about the evils of somebody and what he would do if only….. This is about an easily identified organization, consisting of individuals, groups and nations that have shown over a long period of time by words and deeds their desire to destroy us. There is no perfect solution. Utopia is not an option. We can only do what we can do.

228 St. Pancake  Fri, Apr 21, 2006 4:20:00pm

Free Speech and non-citizens

1. "Noncitizens," not "immigrants." First, a simple but often-forgotten note: The question here is not about the speech of immigrants; it's about the speech of noncitizens. The millions of immigrants who are citizens (for instance, me) are treated exactly the same way for First Amendment purposes as any other
citizens. More broadly, we are legally like native-born U.S. citizens in virtually all respects.

4. Deportation for speech alone: The rule is unclear. The leading case, Harisiades v. Shaugnessy (1952), which upheld Harisiades' deportation for being a Communist, speaks about nearly unlimited Congressional power over deportation, but that language is in the section holding that the deportation of Harisiades didn't violate the Due Process Clause. The Court's conclusion that the deportation of Harisiades didn't violate the Free Speech Clause (Harisiades had argued that the deportation violated both clauses) rested on the conclusion that active membership in the Communist Party was substantively unprotected by the First Amendment — both for citizens and noncitizens. (This view that the First Amendment doesn't protect Communist Party membership was the law at the time,)

It would take the enemy by surprise and just maybe, wake up our politicians!

Fuck her pension, she should be tried as a traitor to this Country.

The article from the Washington Post seems to have more than one source. I suspect the source that turns out to be Mrs. McCarthy actually plays a small role in the article.

Read this article

In particular:

The CIA's inspector general is investigating at least half a dozen allegations of serious abuse in Iraq and Afghanistan, including two previously reported deaths in Iraq, one in Afghanistan and the death at the Salt Pit, U.S. officials said.

...

The agency has an aggressive, robust office of the inspector general with the authority to look into any CIA program or operation anywhere," said a CIA representative who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "The inspector general has done so and will continue to do so. We investigate allegations of abuse fully." The spokesman declined to comment on any case.

...

The CIA inspector general, meanwhile, recently completed a review of detention procedures in Afghanistan and Iraq and gave Goss 10 recommendations for improving administrative procedures for holding, moving and interrogating prisoners. The recommendations included more detailed reporting requirements from the field, increased safeguards against abuse and including more CIA officials in decisions affecting interrogation tactics.

Two have been fully adopted, officials said.

I believe the above is McCarthy and that there were yet other sources on reading the whole article. This would back up the information in news reports that there are more than one leak being investigated, and that a criminal investigation that does not involve Mrs. McCarthy has been started.

I believe McCarthy played a fairly minor role in the article but the journalist identified where the information came from (office of the Inspector General) so that would be a logical place for CIA to start digging and it looks like they stuck pay dirt but I doubt there will be a criminal prosecution in her case. The criminal prosecution is going to be someone else that exposed much more than she did.

#220 godfrey "What civility do I owe to people who are openly calling for the destruction of my society?"
Absolutely none at all. However, as far as I can tell, although this was a disgusting "assemblage" it was "peaceful" - you certainly have every right to go down there and be (non-physically violent)as verbally uncivil to them as you are able.

#233 msdixie - if we could put aside our differences and arguements about illegal immigration and march and parade about it...a lot of us would lose our jobs! Semi-seriously,I don't know how these folks can, day in and day out march, protest etc. etc. unless they're on welfare or are trust fund babies or something.
More seriously, there is not a consenus in this country about illegal immigration, though there probably is on LGF. There are LOTS of businesses, and not just agrigultural businesses, that survive or make make profits or make HUGE profits from employing illegals at below minimum wage, don't deduct taxes and social security or pay the employers share into social security, who are NOT against illegal immigration. And a lot of people, everyday type people, who are American citizens who work for these business are against immigration reform for fear that the business that they legally work for will go bankrupt without the ability to use some illegal immigrant labor.
I think what's been missing from the illegal immigration debate is the feeling and desire for national soverignty. It's the only thing I find shocking at all at many politicians who want to legalize those illegal immigrants who are here now and talk about closing the borders later; who talk about what a disgrace the healthcare system is in this country, knowing full well that many, many states have ENORMOUS health care costs for illegal immigrants. Like Teddy the Swimmer. His family roots, like those of most Americans, are immigrants.
LEGAL immigrants, many of whom started out with nothing but tried to assimilate, tried, wanted to become American Citizens.
Judging by many of the marchers and parades over the last few weeks, they want to live as Mexicans in the USA. As Muslims want to live in the USA but under Sharia law, not US law.
I don't care who you are or where you come from, you should not be allowed in this country, nor should you be able to avail yourself of our bounty and healthcare system, unless you want to become an American. Maybe our system of legal immmigration (e.g., Brits can't get Green Cards, but French can) is in need of serious overhaul, but the answer is not to legalize the status of those living here who don't want to be Americans.

"What civility do I owe to people who are openly calling for the destruction of my society?"

The same BASIC civility you would owe anyone. Depending on how you were raised. Someone calling for the destruction of your society has every right to their opinion and is free to express it without fear of reprisal. As long as they don't actually do anything to destroy the civilization, they are fine. You might call for the destruction of their movement too. But you may not take things in your own hands and act on that call.

You may shun them and choose not to associate with them. You may also express your own opinion but not to the point of interfering with their expression. That's just the way it is. If you want to have your rights, then you have to allow them theirs. We don't choose who has a right to express or what they have a right to express except in very narrow cases of obscenity and hate speech.

You protect your rights by protecting theirs.

What was so objectionable about rayra's #195? While IANA constitutional scholar, it seems to me that:

The tenth amendment states that any rights/duties not specifically delegated to the feds or the states are delagated to the people.

Should not the responsibilities that ARE delegated to the feds or states, but are not fulfilled, then revert to the people?

Obviously, the folks who are building the fence at our border agree with this interpretation.

We need the wall. It is better compared to the Great Wall of China, than the Berlin wall the L3s compare it to.

One was to keep the Huns out. The other was to keep subjects in.

I'm reminded of this:

great gap in modern ethics, the absence of vivid pictures of purity and spiritual triumph... All I venture to point out, with an increased firmness, is that this omission, good or bad, does leave us face to face with the problem of a human consciousness filled with very definite images of evil, and with no definite image of good. To us light must be henceforward the dark thing -- the thing of which we cannot speak. To us, as to Milton's devils in Pandemonium, it is darkness that is visible. The human race, according to religion, fell once, and in falling gained knowledge of good and of evil. Now we have fallen a second time, and only the knowledge of evil remains to us.

If the government can't or won't do that, then sooner or later ordinary citizens will take the law into their own hands. And that is something none of us should ever want to see.

These people are taking that contract and shredding it in our faces.

Well, you're quoting rickl to respond to me, but since we said much the same thing, that's fine.

Vigilantism, in my book, gets a bad rap. There is extensive legitimate history for it. In times before the development of organized policing/sheriff's, people relied on each other to protect them from depredation. This went on longer in the American West then the east, of course.

When the police and sheriff's organizations were built, an agreement was entered into that citizens would follow the system in exchange for protection that used to be provided by fellow citizens. The government is, by extension, a part of this agreement.

When the protectors abdicate their responsibilities, you can't simply have no protection. Therefore, because there was been a system error in the police/government protective system, some locations have "rolled back" to an earlier method.

The root word of "vigilante" is "vigilant".

I won't say that it's never had it's problems, but demanding that version 1.0 be shut down when version 2.0 has crashed, leaving nothing, is unreasonable.

As for the Islamists, it might very well BE "protected", but damn if we should just ignore it. Islamists have a very bad habit of following speech with action, for one, and for another, incitement to violence/riot does not fall within the protected realm anyway.

We are in a war. As much, if not more, an existential one as my great-uncles fought in. We cannot play nice guy. That's been tried and failed.

That's a great statement. Ayn Rand vs. Communist atheism. Gotta remember that.

Of course, Communists worship the State as a god, so it's more like non-supernaturalist theism.

For a while I was having a difficult time understanding the Chinese lady I work with. In different discussions she kept saying Chairman Mao was a very spiritual person. Turns out after further explanation she was equating spirituality to his vicious desire to become a god.

If the brave jihadis are such a dire threat and the world as we know it is about to end, why aren't there daily suicide bombings in U.S. cities? Talk about something that would cause widespread panic and disruption of commerce. It's not like we have secure borders or anything.

Surely these are enemy combatants who should be shot. Never again means just that. If the forces of evil demand death, we in the civilised world shoudl give the lefto and islamofascists what they demand.

See them. Shoot them. throw bodies to sharks.

After the "cartoon jihad" I knew immediately we needed mass counterprotests. I posted about this several times on LGF. Hardly anyone paid attention or replied to my posts. I think I contacted the Protest Warriors and even they ignored me.

But I've got nothing to be proud of. I and a friend of mine planned to attend a counterprotest against illegal aliens and decided instead to work on our investment property.

Well, most normal, average people don't take to the streets because we're busy. We have a life. We have jobs, we're raising children, feeding pets, mowing lawns, fixing stuff, going to church, pursuing hobbies, what have you.

The problem with this is, if we DON'T demonstrate our solidarity, commitment, and determination, we may soon wake up and find we have no jobs and our busy everyday lives are gone.

All it took to get the WW2 generation to drop everything and commit itself totally to a two-front war was Pearl Harbor and a powerful speech from FDR.

That was a different world.

"The Islamic Thinkers Society" ?

There must be something in the Patriot Act
which allows immediate deportation of these
sick-fuck shitheads.

Religion of Peace? Islam is a Satanic Cult.
Compare what is written in red in the New Testament to the words of
Mohammad-the-Molester in the Quran.

Want to get chills down your spine? Watch "The Hamburg Cell"
That is the reality of Islam as a Cult.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the Rand "cult". I don't take it that far, although I do think she was probably the greatest American philosopher of the 20th century.

In my comment, I was just trying to distance myself from Communist-style atheism. I'm a believer in freedom of religion, while the commies try to stamp it out by force.

Mmm. I can see where this would be a problem. Would you consider it legitimate, were non-felons that are already property owners, to use force for legitimate defensive purposes?

324 Bubbaman  Sat, Apr 22, 2006 7:04:38pm

So CTB now has a link to a video of the "so-called" protest on their site. Very underwhelming. The 5 minute video is of 5 [bigoted word] guys standing around shouting moronic stuff while carrying signs about the holocaust.

Why arent these people arrested?

For the same reason as those who brandished placards calling for the destruction of the West and Israel outside the Danish Embassy in London weren't arrested. We've gone too far down the PC road - so far down it that arresting Muslims has become a violation of their human rights.
