Ayatollah Khomeini, Circa 1942: RoPMA

Wed, Jun 7, 2006 at 2:49:17 pm PDT

From the book Anti-American Terrorism and the Middle East (a collection of source documents and statements from key militant Islamic figures), the late unlamented Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini (subject of a recent gushing photographic tribute at the BBC) answers the question, “Is Islam a religion of peace?” (Hat tip: Brazilian Neocon.)

Islam is Not a Religion of Pacifists
Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, 1942

Islam’s jihad is a struggle against idolatry, sexual deviation, plunder, repression, and cruelty. The war waged by [non-Islamic] conquerors, however, aims at promoting lust and animal pleasures. They care not if whole countries are wiped out and many families left homeless. But those who study jihad will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world. All the countries conquered by Islam or to be conquered in the future will be marked for everlasting salvation. For they shall live under [God’s law]. ...

Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those [who say this] are witless. Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all! Does that mean that Muslim should sit back until they are devoured by [the unbelievers]? Islam says: Kill the [the non-Muslims], put them to the sword and scatter [their armies]. Does this mean sitting back until [non-Muslims] overcome us? Islam says: Kill in the service of Allah those who may want to kill you! Does this mean that we should surrender [to the enemy]? Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to paradise, which can be opened only for holy warriors!

There are hundreds of other [Koranic] psalms and hadiths [sayings of the prophet] urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all that mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.

Well.

Any more questions?

ahhh more preversions from the dieyatollah, who also endorsed beastiality:

Is there a proper Muslim way to have sex with animals? Indeed, there is! Guidelines for sex with animals can be found in the writings of Ayatollah Khomeini. Two excerpts from his writings serve to clarify the matter.

"A man can have sex with sheep, cows and camels and so on. However, he should kill the animal after he has his orgasm. He should not sell the meat to the people in his own village; however, selling the meat to the next door village should be fine." Don't the buyers deserve a discount of some kind?

Khomeini's "Tahrirolvasyleh" fourth volume, Darol Elm, Gom, Iran, 1990

"If one commits the act of sodomy with a cow, a ewe, or a camel, their urine and their excrement become impure, and even their milk may no longer be consumed. The animal must then be killed and as quickly as possible and burned." What if it was really good and invites another lap or two? Must animals always be one-night stands?

Islam’s jihad is a struggle against idolatry,

Like the meteorite?

sexual deviation,

IIRC, you wrote a paper on the proper islamic way to have sex with animals.

plunder,

Such as the entire jihad project since the inception of islam?

repression,

Such as punishment for blasphemy.

and cruelty.

Uhh....suppose stoning women to death for being raped might come under that heading?

Islam’s jihad is a struggle against idolatry, sexual deviation, plunder, repression, and cruelty. The war waged by [non-Islamic] conquerors, however, aims at promoting lust and animal pleasures.....Khomeini's Teachings on sex with infants and animals....."A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However, he should not penetrate. If he penetrates and the child is harmed then he should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl, however would not count as one of his four permanent wives. The man will not be eligible to marry the girl's sister."......
If a man becomes aroused by a woman other than his wife but then has intercourse with his own wife, it is preferable for him not to pray if he has sweated; but if he first has intercourse with his wife and then with another woman, he may say his prayers even though he be in a sweat." I remember watching his funeral on TV when his "pallbearers" were removing him from the helicopter and came within 2 lousy inches of dumping his casket on the ground, probably upside down! Man, that would have been funny outrageous to see that freak come flopping out onto the ground. The whole lot of 'em would have started wailing and beating their chests...which Sunnis are forbidden by the Sunnah to do.

Islam’s jihad is a struggle against idolatry,

Ok, must have missed that rock worshipping in Mecca. But let's look to its next endeavor and see how it does?

sexual deviation, Ok, this from the guy that recommends sending violated goats to the next village so you don't defile your own village...next!

plunder, Ok, well, at least they have something in common with the U.N. so this one is not too bad.

repression, Ok, depends on the meaning of the word "repression," but all in all I think Islam gets an F- on this one

and cruelty. Ok, hahahahahhaahah...get outa here already!

Understanding

ISLAM

and
the Muslim Mind
By
ALI SINA

I have been called an extremist. I accept this charge with honor. Islam is sheer evil. It must be opposed completely. Anything less would be to compromise with evil. How do you nullify a total lie? With half-truths? To say we should adopt a moderate stance vis-à-vis Islam is a logical fallacy. Islam says, kill the unbelievers. How can one be moderate in the face of that? Does moderation mean accepting that Muslims only jail or beat the unbelievers? Islam teaches one man can have four wives. Should we compromise and say two wives are okay? Either Allah is God or else he is the figment of a sick mind. Does moderation mean recognizing him as real but asking Muslims not to pay heed to his hateful and violent teachings in the Quran?

”Joe Trippi contacted us about helping Howard Dean. And we successfully used our tools and methods to make him one of the election's more important candidates…It was a little scary to carry so much responsibility on your shoulders. And it still is. I daydream about turning things over to a younger generation, but people wouldn't allow it. Not yet”

”I get lots of calls from people who want to learn how to leverage the Internet…The Swedish social democrats, for instance, asked me to come to Sweden to hold a talk, but I didn't have the time. Soon they'll have to come to Berkeley to learn the ropes.”

”I was in England recently, where they don't allow political ads on TV. It was a fantastic experience. It was so beautiful that I cried.”

My grandfather sure as hell knew about real Islam and he (Grandad) died in 1991, almost ten full years before history as the liberals know it started in late November/early December 2000. Everything that happened prior to that time is malleable.

You basically need to have a complete historical brainwash to not know the real truth about Islam. Nothing about it has changed. It prosthelytizes through violence and has never really disguised that fact.

They will not mellow out if we "leave them alone."

They don't care if you're liberal or conservative, left or right. You are a target because you are freedom loving westerner. Period. Hello Canada.

If there were no oil in the Middle East they would have nothing to offer the world. Nothing at all. If we didn't buy it they couldn't eat it.

We -the United State of America- have gone to the defense of Muslims more so than Muslims themselves. Yet "avenging the killing of brother Muslims" is common vernacular in suicide bombing circles.

They have invaded our lands and culture much more than we have invaded theirs. We have gotten nothing in return except non-assimilation and a need to constantly look over our collective shoulders.

ROPMA.

And yet there is a substantial part of our population that thinks that if we just arrested OBL and withdrew from Iraq -apologizing profusely as we tuck tail- that everything will go back to being peaches and honey between Islam and the west like it was before history actually started in the year 2000.

**sigh**

All one has to do is look at a map of the region and people would begin to understand what's really going on.

Somolia is on the Horn of Africa, which means that terrorists could go after sea lanes into the Red Sea. They could also cross into the Arabian peninsula.

Or, they could head overland and join up with the Islamists in Sudan. Considering the porous borders, lawless regions throughout the area, and jihadist mentalities, the jihadist takeover of Mogadishu is a sober reminder of what happens when no one bothers to deal with the problems of failed states - or to follow through in attempts to deal with the problem.

""How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine - must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

"Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die. But the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytising faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science - the science against which it had vainly struggled - the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome."

It wasn't just Khomeini. This is from a 1952 article on the Muslim Brotherhood:

When I first met him in Cairo, be was still a shy man with nervous hands and shifty black-button eyes. His black collier style beard was unkempt, and even the tassel on his red tarboush looked anemic and frazzled. His short, stocky frame was accentuated by an Egyptian zootsuit: loud stripes, wide, almost bell bottomed trousers, and a jacket that came nearly to his knees. Like the usual brand of dictators and apprentice-fuehrers, al Banna was a bad conversationalist. He could speak effectively to a crowd, but began to falter and stutter in a question-and-answer interview. El Banna's shyness increased when he had anything to do with women...During a subsequent interview, el Banna looked more opulent with a lush tassel to his fez and a better cut suit. But his vaticinations were as frightening as before. He wanted "one state and one religion, from Casablanca to Karachi." He wanted to abolish elections and parliaments. And, as in the medieval days of Haroun al Rashid, this "super-state" was to be ruled by a Caliph. Naturally, that anointed rules was to be Sheikh Hassan el Banna.

From the New Yorker THE AGITATOR by MARGARET TALBOT
Oriana Fallaci directs her fury toward Islam.
Issue of 2006-06-05
Posted 2006-05-29

Excerpt:

Fallaci’s interview with Khomeini, which appeared in the Times on October 7, 1979, soon after the Iranian revolution, was the most exhilarating example of her pugilistic approach.
[snip]
...And, when the interview was over, Ahmed whispered to me, ‘Believe me, I never saw my father laugh. I think you are the only person in this world who made him laugh.’ ”

Fallaci recalled that she found Khomeini intelligent, and “the most handsome old man I had ever met in my life. He resembled the ‘Moses’ sculpted by Michelangelo.” And, she said, Khomeini was “not a puppet like Arafat or Qaddafi or the many other dictators I met in the Islamic world. He was a sort of Pope, a sort of king—a real leader. And it did not take long to realize that in spite of his quiet appearance he represented the Robespierre or the Lenin of something which would go very far and would poison the world. People loved him too much. They saw in him another Prophet. Worse: a God.”

Upon leaving Khomeini’s house after her first interview, Fallaci was besieged by Iranians who wanted to touch her because she’d been in the Ayatollah’s presence. “The sleeves of my shirt were all torn off, my slacks, too,” she recalled. “My arms were full of bruises, and hands, too. Do believe me: everything started with Khomeini. Without Khomeini, we would not be where we are.

Today, Fallaci believes, the Western world is in danger of being engulfed by radical Islam.

They've done everything they can to capitalize on the 9/11 tragedy to push a very liberal political agenda - almost from the get go.

As far as I'm concerned, that makes them fair game for mockery just like Cindy Sheehan.

As far as I'm concerned about Ann Coulter, I believe she says what many think but aren't willing to take the heat for...and she'll back down from no one as Hillary Clinton is going to learn here shortly.

His message of love, justice, honesty, compassion, purity, courage, responsible self-determination and rational investigation of the truth... was ANATHEMA to Muslims, who scuttled away from His light, back into the shadows of their own ignorance!

To return to normalcy,

BTW, the atmosphere over the Gulf of Mexico is quite dry, which is hostile to tropical cyclone formation.

Deep layer wind shear below 10 knots is considered favorable for tropical cyclogenesis, and shear over 20 knots is considered hostile. Wind shear is extremely unfavorable for tropical cyclone formation today.

But, while it isn't favorable today, the water is warm enough.

But, for about 3 days running, the Canadian develops a cyclone in the Caribbean Saturday, and has it approaching Louisiana about Monday.

The Canadian shows the system weakening, from about a Cat 1 hurricane, to a tropical storm before landfall, apparently due to unfavorable shear near the coast at that time.

The GFS and NOGAPS show no such thing. The 18Z WRF at tau=78 (tau=84 unavailable on PSU site) does suggest lowering pressure near the Yucatan Channel. The Yurpian Community model shows a tropical wave moving into the Bay of campeche next week, without development. I like the fact that the Environment Canada Global is so consistent, but only 1 other model (the experimental WRF) supports it, so Louisiana residents should not yet freak out.

The wit and wisdom of the Ayatollah Khomeini

A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However, he should not penetrate. If he penetrates and the child is harmed then he should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl, however would not count as one of his four permanent wives. The man will not be eligible to marry the girl's sister."

"The meat of horses, mules, or donkeys is not recommended. It is strictly forbidden if the animal was sodomized while alive by a man. In that case, the animal must be taken outside the city and sold."

"If one commits an act of sodomy with a cow, a ewe, or a camel, their urine and their excrements become impure, and even their milk may no longer be consumed. The animal must then be killed as quickly as possible and burned, and the price of it paid to its owner by him who sodomized it."

Khomeini's brand of Islam should be getting it's ass kicked.
Those witless and foolish souls
aka,
moderate Muslims, should be one front in the multi-pronged war against radical Islam. The West, with all its superiority on various levels over the jihadist, should already have given these people a new orfice to use during their morning BM. Sadly, at best the West is holding the front in the war whilst simultaneously being undercut by the left of our society. Are "moderate" moslems invisible because there really only a figment of the Wests imagination?!?

You seem to imply that there are no "moderate" muslims. This is untrue and misleading. Allow me to set you straight on this matter.

A "radical" muslim straps on an explosives belt, and detonates it in a crowd of innocents, killing himself and as many infidels as possible. A "moderate" muslim applaudes his actions...and pays for the belt.

Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.’”
Qur’an:7:3 “Little do you remember My warning. How many towns have We destroyed as a raid by night? Our punishment took them suddenly while they slept for their afternoon rest. Our terror came to them; Our punishment overtook them.”
Ishaq:510 “When the Apostle looked down on Khaybar he told his Companions, ‘O Allah, Lord of the Devils and what into error they throw, and Lord of the winds and what they winnow, we ask Thee for the booty of this town and its people. Forward in the name of Allah.’ He used to say this of every town he raided.”
Bukhari:V5B59N512 “The Prophet offered the Fajr Prayer [Prayer of Fear] near Khaybar when it was still dark. He said, ‘Allahu-Akbar!’ [Allah is Greatest] Khaybar is destroyed, for whenever we approach a hostile nation to fight, then evil will be the morning for those who have been warned.’ Then the inhabitants came out running on their roads. The Prophet had their men killed; their children and woman were taken as captives.”

I'm still a little fuzzy on that...so jihad is an internal struggle to kill non-muslims and is based on a wide strata of ways to kill non-muslims? And how do non-muslims fit into the peaceful picture of jihad? I wish his writings were more accessible...I guess if I didn't have this Zionist computer I'd be more able to understand?

A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However, he should not penetrate. If he penetrates and the child is harmed then he should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl, however would not count as one of his four permanent wives. The man will not be eligible to marry the girl's sister."

When I read Kohimeni's words, I am again amazed at what a doofus George W. Bush was to announce that islam was a religion of peace. THAT was one of the biggest victories of the islamics in the wake to 9-11.

It is time, it soon will be time, for us to go back to the side of "asymmetric warfare" that favors us.

But I don't think that Bush, from an oil family cozy with the Saudis, will do it.

Feh. The islamics will have more time to gather more strength. Feh.

You seem to be missing a basic point. The US administration policy is not to deal one on one with nutjob dictatorships that desire nuclear weapon technology. Our position vis a vis Iran is no different than North Korea - multilateral talks in concert with Countries in the region. Asian nations with North Korea and the EU, etc. with Iran.

Are you really so obtuse that you don't see that our foreign policy is the same with both nations?

Apples and oranges.

Different Administrations with different foreign policy objectives. North Korea's attainment of nuclear weapon technology resulted from an Administration that conducted bi-lateral negotiations - in hindsight, pretty obviously a failure.

So this Adminstration is trying a different tact. I too hope this will work out better.
