 Retweetnot gloating

Wed, Jan 9, 2002 at 10:26:55 am PST

Reading about all the problems my fellow Anti-Idiotarians are having with Blogger and Blogspot, I’m trying really hard (and succeeding, I think!) to avoid gloating about my blazing fast, utterly reliable, custom-built PHP content management system.

I’m so proud of myself for not gloating.

How hard was it to load PHP on your server?

I think the last few days have soured me on Blogger. I would pay for the application if I could it on my server without connecting to his.

Im going to have to give Greymatter a shot.

Anyone else go to Macworld, or the developer party?

PHP is very easy to install. Do you own your own server?

Yes, actually—I am starting to plan a public release of my weblog software. There's no timetable as yet, though.

Sure, you can do anything you want if you have a server that supports PHP. There are a lot of people like myslef who use @Home to connect to the internet that doesn't let you run servers from your account ... and their webspace doesn't even support SSI!
