Yes, I know we’re running very slowly today, but unfortunately there isn’t much I can do about it right away. We’re on a nice fast dedicated server, but only so many browsers can fit through one internet connection at a time, no matter how large the pipe. I’ve turned off our bouncing football logo and some of the other resource hogging features to alleviate the problem, and also reduced the number of days on the main front page from 4 to 2. A more permanent solution would involve a distributed server system with a caching scheme, but that will take some major redesigning.

Once the initial swarm of hits from the Reuters Photoshop Scandal tapers off, we should return to our normal speed. Until then, we’ll just have to relax.

Anyone mention yet that JPost mentions LGF by name

The US-based blog LittleGreenFootballs.com first wrote about the controversy and included a series of detailed animations drawing attention to doctored elements of the photograph.

"This Reuters photograph shows blatant evidence of manipulation. Notice the repeating patterns in the smoke; this is almost certainly caused by using the Photoshop "clone" tool to add more smoke to the image," wrote Charles Johnson a regular contributor to LittleGreenFootballs.

Kudos to Little Green Footballs and The Shape of Days , and others.

Dan Rather/CBS's use of phony documents to lie about the president's National Guard service; false reporting throughout the Katrina disaster in hopes of embarrassing the president; the New York Times/Washington Post publishing of national security secrets for, in part, the purpose of preventing the interrogation and monitoring of the enemy; Reuters's doctoring of war photos to undermine our ally, Israel, as it seeks to defend itself against the enemy, etc.

And you know there must be much more of this kind of irresponsible, unprofessional, unethical, and dishonest reporting going on.

Again, congratulations on a job well done.

Supporting massive hits from web browser traffic is not an easy task to deal with. It isn't just the servers, it's how the traffic is distributed.

IP Sprayers, or Load Balancers spraying traffic back to clustered web-servers is a nice strategy. Not the most economic approach, but this is what eBay, Insurance Companies, and other financial institutions do it. It is a proven and accepted method.

Also, if you could offer WAP support for mobile devices with "trimmed down" content that does not overwhelm the hand-helds that would be smashing! A hand-held is great to have but most of the time I can't get LGF to load. The little thing can't load the threads! WAP support or LGF mobile would be very, very cool! Plan on that, because hand-helds are becoming more common.

Charles,

First of all, the problem is not that it's slow, it's that it takes so long to get in that it dies (I had to re-hit this three times before I got into the comments).

And what if it doesn't die down? Every time you've had a big kick up because of a major event (e.g. Rathergate), even once the numbers have gone down, they've been higher than they were before the event.

But it's great for you Charles. Kos must be seething. You passed them in the TTLB rankings :-)

Second try.

That was a good story and clearly demonstrates the difference between an open forum versus a conclusory posting. In LGF we are given the opportunity to prove Charles wrong and indeed the collective wisdom and niche expertise has resulted in Charles pulling a thread. The famous 'collapsing thread' is the latest. In previous wars, there were photographers, and journalists, then a hybrid photo-journalist came into being. In this war with new technology available we are now seeing the blending of photographer and propagandist. So may I nominate a new word for the lexicon - photo-propagandist. Unless it's already (no doubt by one of the lgf minions) been recorded. In which case I will respectfully SDSTFU.

I predict Brit Hume discusses this tonight (likely no one else) and mentions LGF...go, Charles!

We might be at that critical breaking point where media outlets have no choice but to report a story, where not reporting a story will confirm that they are the biased, agenda driven hacks that many long believed. Something like how several outlets sat on the Monica Lewinsky story until it was broken by Drudge, and then became a huge story.

Proven instances of media bias are becoming more common and any posing as a serious news organization might not have the option to ignore it, i.e., media bias becomes a big, ongoing story that can't be ignored.

And Charles might well be the one who's contributed more to making medias bias a major news story than anyone else. Quite an acheivement and a major contribution to all who try to be well informed.

Koskidz on Reutergate...
propaganda vs propaganda

Well, the current story du jour of an apparent Lebanese propagandist with a penchant for shoddy Photoshopping was broken by the propaganda goon trust at Little Green Footballs. (Funny how this stuff always gets discovered by them. How lucky they are! Takes one to know one?) What is important to focus upon is how the headlines and the telling of the story was immediately an anti-media and anti-liberal story rather than a story with unanswered questions to be investigated and answered. It was never a search for truth. It was and continues to be a story misrepresented by a reptitive yet affective (sic) propaganda technique in order to push the right wing agenda. In this case, the agenda has a familiar goal: destroy what they perceive as a liberal news outlet.

Bwahahaha!

72 pat  Mon, Aug 7, 2006 8:16:58am

Yup, it's slow. Probably good idea someone above suggested to reduce front page content to last two or three days. Pictures, which we've had a ton of the past couple days, really burn up the bandwidth. Other choice, IMHO, is for Charles to go IPO. Some sort of LLC. Buy some serious hardware with proceeds. Could you imagine the first ad - Infidel Airlines, tours to Mecca, Tehran, Ohm Round trip air fare not available.

In a paraphrase of the words of the late Anne Bancroft,

"I'll have what their having."

What is important to focus upon is how the headlines and the telling of the story was immediately an anti-media and anti-liberal story rather than a story with unanswered questions to be investigated and answered.

What in the world are they talking about? How can obvious photoshopping be a story with unanswered questions to be investigated and answered? The facts are Adnan got caught in an obvious fraud. If Charles hadn't found it someone else would have with the same results. Why don't they get it?

I suppose that this is one of the differents between the side that deals in facts that can be proven or disproven, not facts based on emotions, feelings and suppostions that change on a whim.

I guess we shouldn't be too hard on them today, if Lamont can lose 8 points again overnight, some of us may have to go over for the suicide watch and 72 hour committent committee when Liberman wins the primary. Their heads are going to explode. LOL

Hire a writer or three, some 24/7 professional monitoring staff. Add a ping function like FR. I could tolerate some ads. Could you imagine the first ad - Infidel Airlines, tours to Mecca, Tehran, Ohm Round trip air fare not available.

But seriously, how many of us really think the WOT, SJS, or Islamic extremism is something that's going to disappear in our lifetime? Just my .02 cents...

BTW - Charles, if you ever read this, put me down for 1,000 shares at $9.00 please.

If possible, maybe instead of posting all the photos and pictures embedded with the text, you would just include small thumbnails of the photos and pictures instead. Then we can click on them individually to see the full-sized versions.

OT: Times(UK) wears rose-colored glasses over Muslim reformation hopes;

Don't be fooled by the fanatics: Islam's liberals are on the march
Irshad Manji

Even Muslim clerics in Pakistan now hint that the Hudood laws are not divinely created.

IT IS EASY to believe that the Muslim world has only bad news to offer. But easy doesn’t mean accurate; in truth, there’s much good news to report.
---
Let’s start in the East. For almost three decades, Pakistan has followed a set of laws called Hudood, after hudd or penalties prescribed by God, that determine punishment in cases of rape and adultery. Under these laws, more than 4,600 Pakistani women have been thrown in prison for offences that include adultery. By contrast, virtually all men accused of rape go free.

The Hudood ordinances are being seriously challenged at last. Thanks to a vocal, but religiously respectful, campaign by civil society groups, the influential Council for Islamic Ideology recently recommended reform. That move allowed President Musharraf to begin releasing some of the 1,300 women who were in jail awaiting trial.

Let’s see, 4600 – 1300 = 3300 reasons for taking this w/ an extra large grain of salt.

It's the same song and dance for the libs and the MSM.

They accuse others of doing what "they" or their side do.

The Hezbos kill their own for PR purposes, but yet the MSM reports that Israel kills their own for PR purposes.

The libs are the biggest racists, bigots, and haters (even of themselves), yet they say conservatives are.

Then we have them arguing for the life of a tree or bird or plant, while at the same time saying a woman can kill a child at will.

It's an ass-backwards idealism they live by.

Liberalism is a mental disorder, no doubt about it.

This remiinds me of two things :

The first is a line from Ren and Stimpy when little Ren excitedly yells: "We're not just heetchhiking ...we're RIDING!" (blogosphere vs, MSM)

the other and much more pertinent is that twice now I have seen the same agitated Lebanese man with Anderson Cooper (2nd time today, first time several days ago?) yelling about the Israeli response, won't stop talking about the israelis responding to Hizballah is "all anyone can say, but look at what Israel is doing etc etc.."

I am thinking Beirut school of drama. Has anyone else see this guy? Dark hair , mustache, today a maroon t-shirt. running down an alleyway after the agitated talk with Cooper was interrupted by booming noise. If I have seen him twice, then he strikes me as at least Cooper's go-to guy for anguished Lebanese citizen.

I am not minimizing the anguish of any particular citizen of Lebanon, just wondering how it is that he is so ...available.

Dr. Sanity's intellectual take on "Joe Lieberman's Sin."

Where I tell it like it is.

I prefer to avoid personal politics as it avoids actually using brain power on the issues, but in the case of Lieberman or any supporter of Israel, there's no reason to beat around the bush. My first paragraph:

The Left is now mainstreaming the notion Israel is "a mistake." This comes months after normalizing the notion HAMAS and Hizballah want "to destroy Israel." They're fine with that. The Left thinks Israel's supporters are dupes of AIPAC and the "Jewish Lobby" of Walt and Mearsheimer. The Left buys into the old "dual loyalties" argument which plagues Jews only for some reason. Anyone can have mixed motivations, but if it's Jews somehow the term morphs into treasonous sounding "dual loyalties." The Left's major enemy these days is the "neocons" - codeword for Jews in power. Ever since the 1967 War and Israel's backtrack from socialism, the Left has been turning away from Israel. Leftist icons like Fisk, Raimondo, Kossholes, etc., believe Jews control America.

I'm not chumming for trolls, but avoiding reality isn't a strong suit of mine.

For a view of how Reuters' captions to photos are biased, check out the first 18 photos related to Israel/Hizb/Lebanon at Reuters' site. Here's the first seven captions which are representative of all 18. Every time, if an Israeli is hurt, it was a "rocket" that did it; if a Lebanese/Hizb is hurt, "Israel" did it. Humans hurt Lebanese, but inanimate objects hurt Israelis, according to Reuters.

No, those are real photos of Israeli girls writing "to Nasrallah with love" on artillery shells. Those shells are intended to be used against a genocidally-minded terrorist organization which declares its intention to kill those girls, their relatives, and all their countrymen.

So what's your point?

Everyone knows that while Leftist ideology resulted in Maoist and Stalinist mass murder, that "right-wing" ideology resulted in the Holocaust, right?

Are we sure about that? Does the following sound like something Republicans would advocate?

WE DEMAND THAT THE GOVERNMENT UNDERTAKE THE OBLIGATION ABOVE ALL OF PROVIDING CITIZENS WITH ADEQUATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR EMPLOYMENT AND EARNING A LIVING.

THE ACTIVITIES OF THE INDIVIDUAL MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO CLASH WITH THE INTERESTS OF THE COMMUNITY, BUT MUST TAKE PLACE WITHIN ITS CONFINES AND BE FOR THE GOOD OF ALL ...

WE DEMAND THE NATIONALIZATION OF ALL BUSINESSES WHICH HAVE BEEN AMALGAMATED (INTO TRUSTS).

WE DEMAND THAT THE STATE SHALL SHARE IN THE PROFITS OF LARGE INDUSTRIES.

WE DEMAND THAT PROVISION FOR THE AGED SHALL BE MADE ON A VERY GREATLY INCREASED SCALE.

WE DEMAND A LAND-REFORM SUITABLE TO OUR NATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, THE PASSING OF A LAW FOR THE CONFISCATION OF LAND FOR COMMUNAL PURPOSES; THE ABOLITION OF INTEREST ON MORTGAGES, AND PROHIBITION OF ALL SPECULATION IN LAND.

WE DEMAND AN AGRARIAN REFORM SUITABLE TO OUR NATIONAL REQUIREMENTS; THE ENACTMENT OF A LAW TO EXPROPRIATE WITHOUT COMPENSATION THE OWNERS OF ANY LAND THAT MAY BE NEEDED FOR NATIONAL PURPOSES; THE ABOLITION OF GROUND RENTS; AND THE PROHIBITION OF ALL SPECULATION IN LAND.

THE CONCEPTION OF THE STATE IDEA (THE SCIENCE OF CITIZENSHIP) SHALL BE TAUGHT IN THE SCHOOLS FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. WE DEMAND THAT SPECIALLY TALENTED CHILDREN OF POOR PARENTS, NO MATTER WHAT THEIR STATION OR OCCUPATION, SHALL BE EDUCATED AT THE COST OF THE STATE.

more from oure friend cindy:

E

arlier Sunday, about 50 protesters attended an interfaith service Sunday on the 5 acres that Gold Star Families for Peace recently bought with insurance money Sheehan received after her oldest son, Casey, died in Iraq in 2004.

The vacant land, with a field and tree groves, is near downtown, about seven miles from the ranch. Sheehan, who plans to donate the land for a park after the war is over, said she plans to register to vote and get a driver's license in Texas.

Nice to see that the insurance money went to good use, like a headstone for Casey's grave. Just more proof that all Casey is a soapbox. To cindy her son is just a platform for her dadical aganda, not a loved one who died.

Now why would she want a Texas DL or to be voter? When the Iraq war is over, after we win, how long before the moonbats will claim credit for ending it?

Saudi Arabia is calling for a boycott of the US over the conflict in Lebanon. One can only hope it'll include boycott of Saudis travelling to the US. Actually if the Saudies had only started their boycott earlier then there would still have been two building standing in New York and 3000+ living souls. When the Saudies last started a boycott of Denmark, the Danish economy soared as a result – it’s still in acute danger of overheating. All in all Saudi boycotts are good. Wish they’d just boycott the whole world and we’d never hear of them again.

Another "Lebanese and Iraqi Shias resent, are contemptuous of, and will not take dictation from Iranians" Update: "Hizbollah fighter tells Israel he trained in Iran," from the Hizballah News Agency, aka Reuters, with thanks to Nick:

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - A Hizbollah fighter captured by Israel has told interrogators he received training in Iran and arrived there on a flight from Syria, a tape of the interrogation released by the Israeli army showed on Monday.
During questioning the man also confessed to taking part in the cross-border raid on July 12 in which two Israeli soldiers were captured, the incident which sparked the current conflict. [Link: www.jihadwatch.org...]

"We trained in Iran," the man, who gave his name as Mahmoud Ali Suleiman, told the interrogator. "We went from Beirut in civilian cars... to the airport in Damascus."

Suleiman, who gave his age as 22, said between 40 and 50 people went with him for the training, which involved instruction in the use of anti-tank weapons. He didn't say when the training took place or how long it lasted.

Today's Vent calls attention to the already forgotten Seattle shooting, the firebombing at Baltimore's Hebrew University, and other worldwide attacks on Jews and Israel that won't get front-page headlines.

Haaretz reports that Jews are on "heightened alert" in the US. Debbie Schlussel has background on the Baltimore attack.

And here, for the record and for those still under the delusion that Haq was just some misguided, newly baptized Christian rather than the self-proclaimed angry Muslim-American he demonstrated himself to be, are a few snippets from the police records released last week on the Haq shooting (excuse the formatting):

Israeli attacks kill 45 Lebanese

BEIRUT (Reuters) - Israeli attacks killed at least 45 people in Lebanon on Monday and a U.N. Security Council vote on a resolution to end the 27-day-old conflict was delayed after Arab nations objected to the draft.

Israeli air raids killed at least 40 people in southern Lebanon and the eastern Bekaa Valley, and another five died in a strike on a crowded area in Shi'ite-dominated south Beirut.

AP News Alert

The Lebanese prime minister says only one person died in an Israeli air raid on the southern village of Houla, lowering the death toll from 40.

What if you held a pro-Hezbollah rock concert and nobody came?

An anti-war protest concert, without protesters

No more than 50 people climbed up to the South Tel Aviv roof where the "Emergency Festival" against the war was being held, and most of them did not look particularly upset by the Israel Defense Forces activity in Lebanon. One of the performers noticed this indifferent mood and provokingly asked the crowd: "Is there anyone here from the left at all?" Silence. "I mean, really, does anyone here attend the leftists demonstrations? No? So I don't really see what we're doing here."

Charles has hit the bigtime! No one deserves the recognition and accolades more than the Lizard Master himself. Cheers!

And the most unsettling thing for the media is not just the success Charles has had exposing their "trickery". Its that he has educated so many tens of thousands of curious people who discovered LGF, then made it a regular stop, and eventually got hooked on anti-idiotarianism. Regular LGF readers are highly informed people, far moreso than anyone who just watches TV news and reads newspapers.

And Charles knows that not all our enemies are at the other side of a weapon or IED detonation switch. Some of them are right next to us hiding out in public. But they want us lose all the same.

Hezbollah fighter confesses to kidnapping IDF soldiers
By Reuters

A Hezbollah fighter captured by Israel has told interrogators he received training in Iran and arrived there on a flight from Syria, a tape of the interrogation released by the Israeli army showed on Monday.

During questioning the man also confessed to taking part in the cross-border raid on July 12 in which two Israel Defense Forces soldiers were captured, the incident which sparked the current conflict.

The man, speaking in Arabic, said he joined Hezbollah in 2000 and had carried out two operations with the Lebanese guerrilla group, the first in December 2005 when they had tried to take on an Israeli tank entering southern Lebanon.

The second operation was the one in July, when the two Israeli soldiers were seized and eight were killed in subsequent mortar fire and clashes.

In addition to the brief stint in Iran, Suleiman said he had done extensive training at a Hezbollah camp in Baalbek, in Lebanon's eastern Bekaa valley.

Lebanese hope that Hezbollah will be completely wiped out.

In an interview on July 19 with Israel National Radio’s Tovia Singer, Etienne Sakr (a.k.a. “Abu Arz”), a former south Lebanese army officer and leader of the Guardians of the Cedars militia, called on Israel to press ahead until it gains victory in its offensive against Hezbollah. He said that Israel must not allow the Islamist elements in the country to survive the war; Lebanon can be rebuilt.

Sample paragraph:

"While the Israelis have been busy at work making the desert bloom..."

I've heard this exact same vile, racist clap trap used to justify the European theft of native American land, Zulu land, Australian Aborigine land. Maybe I should come grow some vegetables on your front lawn since you aren't using it. Heck, maybe I should have it paved so I can park my car on it. Maybe I should squat in your spare bedroom. Heck, tell ya what, maybe I should fight you for the whole house.

If Palestinians want to heard goats on their land that's their business and none of yours.

Ah, yes - the "if I barge into your house analogy". It's quite popular.

And that Jews bought infertile land and made it bloom is not "racist claptrap". It's funny how these far-leftists accuse Jews of crying "anti-Semitism" in the face of criticism, but are so unsparing with the term "racist".

Miss Dynamite (Also known as Eva Sirkowski) is a printed manga, a webcomic and a Flash anime created around December 1990 by Sébastien Fréchette is about a sexy freelance terrorist and her bisexual assassin friend, named Tanpopo "Blackie" Chin, going off on "action packed mostly weird" adventures.

The manga's sexual and sadistic humour makes this a popular webcomic. The manga has also spawned various Flash short films at a popular Flash website called Newgrounds, also has been published in MensuHell, a Canadian comic publication.

The man behind the pen is Sébastien Fréchette (also known by his artist name as Sirkowski), a resident of Québec, Montréal. Canada. He attends many comic and humor conventions in that region. He supports himself solely on his artwork and is available for hire.

Muslim police chief calls for inquiry into extremism

One of Britain's most senior police officers today called for an independent judicial inquiry into the radicalisation of young Muslims in the wake of the July 7 London bombings.

Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Tarique Ghaffur, the country's highest ranking Muslim officer, said Islamophobia in Western society had created a "generation of angry young people" who were vulnerable to extremism.

Why is this asshat even bothering with this phony "probe"? After all, he's already figured out the cause. It's not Muslims or their drenched-in-blood ideology that passes for religion. Of course not. It's always white people and their damned "Islamophobia". That's the root cause of terrorism in the world.

I don't care if he is a high-ranking police chief, or how moderate he tries to sound; the sooner the UK deports this man (and his family and probably friends too), the better off that country will be.

Reuters et al. propaganda was exposed as far back as 2004:

Blogger discussing the city of Rafah's "Hiroshima 2004".

It was a military operation for sure, and yes there was some confined destruction. But what took place in Rafah surely doesn't rate as genocide nor does it compare with the aftermath of an atomic explosion.

Why would a purported nation want to feign or orchestrate their own holocaust. Is it not and aberration to aspire to catastrophe? On one hand it would seem impossible to actualize this base fantasy - unless, of course, the foreign press, EU, UN, international courts and humanitarian agencies were in collusion with the Palestinian Authority. Sound far fetched? Well for starters, the UN's vehicles and ambulances have been conscripted to kidnap soldiers, steal body parts and smuggle terrorists and weapons.

Rather than adhering to even the most basic of ethical standards, the international media's photojournalists behave like they're on some macabre fashion shoot for a high-gloss edition of Morbidity and Mortality.

While perusing the online photo archives of Reuters, I couldn't help but notice that the same corpse of a child was repeatedly photographed with different people carrying it. Was it staged or candid? [unfortunately no link]I really don't know, but deliberate or not, it does give the illusion of additional casualties. Suspicions are raised even further now that IMRA disclosed that two Palestinian children who died in the Rafah procession incident were murdered by Palestinian gunmen and that the IDF photographed the shooting. If you doubt the authenticity of this report, please note that it was first reported in Haaretz by Amir Oren on May 21st.

Meanwhile in the oft photographed morgue, a lone child is repeatedly photographed in different locations of the room as he sits over assorted groupings of bodies. A spontaneous photographic opportunity or was it posed for propaganda purposes?

Another morgue picture taken by the same photographer features a teenage brother and sister who were supposedly gunned -down by IDF troops. But an initial investigation indicates that their deaths were caused by an explosive device planted by the Palestinians. The photojournalists are a rather homogeneous bunch -hardly representative of an international press core. These are the names of the photographers and photojournalists from AP, Reuters and AFP who covered the action for the Palestinian side of the street in Gaza these past two weeks: Mohammed Salem, Suhaib Salem, Mohamed Azakir, Goran Tomasevic, Khalil Hamra, Adnan Hajj Ali, Nasser Nasser, Hussein Malla, Lefteris Pitarakis, Ahmed Khateib, Salah Malkawi, Abbas Momani, Said Khatib, Mohammed Abed, and Awad Awad.

Is Adnan Hajj/Reuters also Adnan Hajj Ali/Associated Press?

333 Alan The Brit  Mon, Aug 7, 2006 1:12:20pm

The Reuters story featured on BBC 2 Newsnight in the UK. The story discussed the faked photos and had exclusive interview with Adnan Haj, the photoshop guy. Haj said that the photo of the aircraft was OK, no problem at all, an Arab Mary Mapes methinks. They also discussed the staged photo ops in Qana, described by Richard North (a blogger) as “Vast grotesque theatre”. The Daily Telegraph had used some of the images from Qana and said of a man carrying a dead child that “the basic truth is undeniable”. This sounds like Dan Rather’s comments on the dodgy memos. Paul Holmes from Reuters welcomed scrutiny from bloggers to hold the media accountable. They didn’t mention Charles or LGF but I detected a new level of respect for the activities of bloggers (Jeremy Paxman who normally host Newsnight has described blogger efforts as “internet tittle tattle”).

334 Salem  Mon, Aug 7, 2006 1:14:28pm

Charles, how about when things calm down you run a week-long telethon (blog-a-thon?) to raise money to buy a distributed server system? I'm sure everybody on here would thrown in.

It's times like these when you want new visitors (like the 100+ from Reuters) to be able to really spend some time on the site, go back through history, learn about the role you played in the Dan Rather scandal, etc. etc.

Unfortunately, there are probably a lot of fools coming to this site for the first time and thinking this is what it normally looks like and how it normally runs.

If any of those fools are reading this, do yourself a favor and spend a couple of hours going through the site and really learning about LGF.

#321, aboo-hoo-hoo. Your link shows the whole Reuters-esque slant of the CNN piece, including the 40 massacred innocents (less the 39 not killed). I didn't notice, but did they get the date right? Or did they report the story using the Hegira calender? CNN is worse than Reuters.

341 gaby  Mon, Aug 7, 2006 1:18:21pm

Charles,
Do the re-design. You can beat dkos by the number of visitors, but not with the current software and hardware you are using. Also, do the diaries. THis will facilitate people working in teams and will further increase participation.
Can't you find a like of Soros on the right to give you some money?

Yes, he seems to change his name depending on whether he is working in a Sunni or Shiite neighborhood.

I also highlighted the names of several others I recognize as being involved in the recent QanaGate incident. There were 8 in all that split a $500 award from Reuters for their "great work." Charles ran a thread on it. Archives.

Yeah... And they convinced the CBS and Reuters editors to go along with the con! Remember when you fold your hat, you want the shiny side of the foil OUT, or it won't work to protect you from Karl Rove's Mind Control Rays. HTH.

New poll from Londinistan...
Survey reveals shades of Islam in Britain

For example, almost 80 per cent of those polled believed those who published controversial cartoons of the prophet Mohammed should be punished, though 50 per cent thought the protests in Britain against the cartoons had gone too far.
...
Fewer than five per cent of Muslims polled believed they should separate themselves from non-Muslims, and fewer than 10 per cent believed it was acceptable for religious or political groups to use violence for political ends (9% approve of violence? not good at all-ed).

But nearly a third said they would prefer to live under Sharia law than British law, and almost half believe the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center in New York were a conspiracy by Israel and the US.

Despite the rosy multi-culti spin, these are not good numbers.

Apologies to Fox fans, but that stunk!

HELLO!

Using faked pictures, and then knowingly showing them, to the entire world,is more than a mistake!

It got more Isareli's killed today, and put a greater threat against the USA and all of the West!

Worker suspended after telling American blogger: ‘I look forward to day when you pigs get your throats cut’
Yaakov Lappin
A Reuters employee has been suspended after sending a death threat to an American blogger.
The message, sent from a Reuters internet account, read: “I look forward to the day when you pigs get your throats cut.”
It was sent to Charles Johnson, owner of the Little Green Footballs (LGF) weblog, a popular site which often backs Israel and highlights jihadist terrorist activities.
In the threat, the Reuters staff member, who has not been named, left his email address as “zionistpig” at hotmail.com.
Reporting the message to his readers, Johnson wrote on his website: “This particular death threat is a bit different from the run of the mill hate mail we get around here, because an IP lookup on the sender reveals that he/she/it was using an account at none other than Reuters News.”Speaking to Ynetnews, Johnson said: “I was surprised to receive a threat from a Reuters IP, but only because it was so careless of this person to use a traceable work account to do it.”
He added: “I think it’s more than fair to say that Reuters has a big problem.”

A couple of very manipulative British journalists managed to get the scene staged. They gave the parents of the girls words to copy.

One thing not acknolwedged, was that these kids and parents are from very poor families, with little education. The way the media manipulate the shows is sickening.

And some people thought Charles was making a big deal about this. Actually, at first glance, I did too. I still don't think it goes to Reuter's bias overall. That's there for anyone to see who wants to. Reuters obviously isn't enjoying this controversy. This flap just shows how astonishingly incompetent they are, to go along with their ethical depravity.

Just noodling something through here:

Islamists have been killing the only real remaining non-muslims left in Arabia ever since Israel was formed. The Arabs denied the creation of Palestine simply because it would legitimize Israel. No strategy to defeat Israel, they just kill so they can get attention, and then have the opportunity to cry victim.

Same with 9/11. They seemed so disappointed that Americans did not Molotov mosques afterward. All of the mosques in Northern Virginia where I lived at the time were on high alert. Nothing ever happened. In spite of their press conferences.

They kill children in Beslan after holding them hostage and demanding attention.

They hold hostages in a Moscow theater and take videos to release to the press.

Etc.

Now they stage this big offensive against Israel by lobbing WWII technology rockets into her cities.

And the main mission that Hajj of Wire Services had was to manipulate photos to create more victim hood and gnashing of teeth.

No strategy or capable of winning. Just killing. Iraq and Afghanistan are the same. As is Bali, Madrid, The Philippines, London, The Embassy bombings in the '90's, The Cole...

I'm getting a headache.

Yep. The islamists don't create civilizations.

They are only motivated to destroy them.

Afghanistan is a classic example.

So is Sarajevo. Hosting the Olympics one year, being destroyed by the islamists soon after.

Americans like to talk about (or be told about) Democracy but, when put to the test, usually find it to be an 'inconvenience.' We have opted instead for an authoritarian system disguised as a Democracy.
