I've decided I'm just going to release the information tonight and people can look it over and tell me what they think if they wish.

23 freedom rings  Wed, Oct 4, 2006 8:04:33pm

Here's pervertedjustice.com's take on the Foley case:

Mark Foley case typical of internet predators

We've been withholding comment regarding the Mark Foley case, as we're not involved in the exposure of that specific internet predator. However, the case has taken on such a life of its own and requests from readers and media for comment so extensive that we might as well wade into what is, right now, little more than a political circus. It is actually somewhat surprising to us to see so much attention on this case, as we figured that by this point... nobody should really be surprised.

...Especially when you contrast Foley's actions with other congressmen in regards to Pages. As reported by CapitolHillBlue, there's a long history of inappropriate relationships with congressional pages. Which is again, not surprising considering that we are entrusting men obsessed with political power over impressionable teenagers.

How I've attempted to obtain the IP address for the owners of "Stop Sex Predators" and the IP address that has come my way:

I set up two blogs the other day, each with a site meter (Thanks Jesus' Boy, who referred me to site meter). Both blogs have no useful content on them. They are just gobbledygook.

However, I sent an enticing email (using a newly created email address) to the owner of "Stop Sex Predators" in an attempt to get them to visit each of the blogs, claiming in the email that the blogs were making some claims about the site and providing a link to each blog. Since the blogs are so obscure, any visit to both blogs would likely be the IP address in question.

The two blogs are:

Krazy Kollegiates at it again:

Mob rule at Columbia University
By Michelle Malkin · October 05, 2006 12:45 AM

Minutemen Project co-founder Jim Gilchrist spoke at Columbia University tonight. He tried to speak, that is. During his remarks, a mob of students stormed the stage and sabotaged the event. Every Columbia U. alum should be assailing the administration. Gilchrist is owed an apology. This is a disgrace. [Link: www.michellemalkin.com...]

The staff of the Blue and White, a Columbia Univ. undergrad magazine liveblogged it at "The Bwog" and took photos. Here's one:
A bit of their report:

STUDENTS WITH A BIG YELLOW SIGN JUST CAME ONTO THE STAGE. The sign says, "There are no illegals." Students rise en masse from the audience and rush the stage. The Minuteman and the students engaged in a tug of war with the banner. More people rush the stage, prompting a fist-fight. One female student is kicked in the head. A guy in a pony tail (definitely not a student) rushes the stage and fights with students (several witnesses saw him kick a student) and then banded together with the Minuteman to shout the pledge of allegiance as the rumble spun out of hand, "One nation! Under God! Indivisible!"

We at least have an IP address (69.14.20) to try and identify the person in question if further information comes up.

69.14.20.# seems to be an IP address range, not a particular address.

But you did apparently narrow it down to a particular ISP and a group of 256 different possible IP addresses.

Might be interesting if people started searching their server logs for hits from that range.

Unfortunately, the most interesting hits would be on sites that are unlikely to want the organizer of stopsexpredators.blogspot.com to be unmasked.

Terrific article...

The Islam Conundrumby Amil Imani
Arutz Sheva

The dictionary defines religion as "the expression of Man's belief and reverence for a superhuman power recognized as the creator and governor of the universe." By this definition, Islam qualifies as religion; so do numberless other beliefs.[..]

Simply because someone or some people say that they believe in a superhuman deity and revere him, should the belief be accorded the privileged status of religion? [..]

In the case of Islam, there is no ambiguity at all. The mosque and the state were one and the same from the very start. During his lifetime, Muhammad embodied in his person all three branches of worldly secular governance - the legislative, the judiciary and the executive - as well as the religious domain. As a "messenger of Allah," he transmitted Allah's laws, adjudicated according to those laws and implemented Allah's design. He also prescribed a set of religious instructions for the spiritual life of the faithful.[..]

When religion crosses the line that separates it from the state, serious problems present themselves. In the case of Islam, the rule of the people, by the people, for the people is supplanted by the rule of Allah, by the faithful to Allah, for the pleasure of Allah.

Other problems arise. Liberty, deeply cherished by democracies, is replaced by submission - unquestioning obedience and adherence to the dictates and precepts of the all-knowing and all-wise Allah.[..]

Sadly enough, instead of Muslims marching out of the suffocating swamps of submission to the meadow of liberty, Allah's faithful aim to drag the rest of humanity into the deadly Islamic quagmire.

It sure would be great if Charles could make this a main post:

The Valour-IT program, which is a charity that funds the purchase of laptop computers and voice activated software for use by our wounded service personnel has a backlog of 25 people in need of systems.

Cox and Forkum's excellent drawing and editorial is here.

This project has been around about a year or so now and has enabled wounded men and women to get back into life via technology.

If you have a few sapre bucks kicking about, consider donating to this very effective project.

Here is the link to Soldier's Angels to donate, and the history and other info is available at that site.

Many of the MilBlogs have stories covering the effectiveness of this program, including some 1st person testimonials, and this all came about becasue of the idea of a wounded Army Captain (a blogger before the IED attack) and some American ladies who wanted to put meaning behind "Support the Troops."

Dragon Software and some company that sells laptops have stepped up to the plate and have been gracious in thier discounts. A system is about $600/person...and't that's not a lot to give back to those who have given much for us.

Good morning, LGF.

After thoroughly Googling that IP address range, I find that it contains several proxy servers, so your visitor may have been smart enough to cover his virtual trail.

The following are proxy servers in that IP range:

69.14.20.15:7212
69.14.20.105:10242
69.14.20.207:63809

And as noted earlier, there were a few Wikipedia vandals who used IPs in that range (perhaps using proxies):

#61 Dar ul Harb,

Yeah, I Googled the IPs last night and noticed that there were a couple of proxy servers and a few different Wikipedia vandals also.

It is possible that the person in question is using a proxy server. Then again, you would probably find a few proxy servers in many different IP address ranges that are used primarily by people for personal internet access.

The only way to try and find out is to see if anybody has logged the actual IP address in the past few days.

I detect the whiff of panic in Lizard Nation. It seems to have finally infected Charles too. The thought that this puts the nail in the coffin to continued Republican misrule of Congress is clearly causing some spittle to fly in Santa Monica and in Lizard lairs around the world.

By the way, apparently what Foley did isn't even a crime if the pages were between the ages of 16 and 18, because 16 is the age of consent in the District of Columbia.

This isn't about crime - this is about moral hypocrisy on the part of the Republican leadership - stirring up demagogic passions against homosexuals while harboring a homosexual with pedophilic tendencies within its own house.

Yeah? They turn into perverts?

Of course they did! Everyone knows, as soon as you start drinking too much, you instantly develop an attraction to very young people. Or midgets, or certain fuzzy ruminants, if you live in the country.

In my case, though, it used to happen the other way. When I was a young and inexperienced drinker, I went after the older women, preferably the late-30's gals, bored housewives and bitter divorcees. When it comes to a one or two-night stand, you can't beat them! Except, the ones who desire a little spanky-action, or other forms of role-playing, sometimes a little too rough for my tender young sensibilities.

Too much info, I know. Sorry, but I am pledged to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the slightly-embellished truth. The truth is, older women make beautiful lovers, like the song says. As long as they're not too old. :)

I'm sorry, but when I was in grade school, you didn't get to sleep with your hot young teachers, like the boys do today. I went to Catholic school, and the old nuns idea of a good time was rapping your knuckles HARD with a good stiff wooden ruler. When it comes to S&M, I'm not an aficionado, but if push comes to shove, it's gonna be me holding the whip.

Gordons picture used to appear on this blog regularly. The problem with the photos was that you couldn't see his head. These photos were later featured in the the Journal of Emergency and Cosmetic Proctological Surgery. Gordon is famous for his survival despite his normally terminal disability

Could this be what you saw? Or this? Then there is also this....

If you want to give charity to the Mennonites for the hospital expenses, go to

[Link: mds.mennonite.net...]
Click on donate.
Where there is a picture of a Visa card and Mastercard click on "Donate Online Today".
Then fill out forms.
You have to tick off the box for the school shootings because they were raising money for Katrina victims before this.

They only take visa and mastercard.

The Mennonited don't have medical insurance.
I would hate to see the families go into bankruptcy because of this since they live in a non cash economy.

I hope Al Jazeera is covering this story of the Amish as a lesson in how people can respond differently than the behavior we've seen in Muslim countries.

However I must say I am surprised that the Amish tell their children not to think of the killer as evil. I thought recognizing good and evil was fundamental to religious thought. Since it is heresay maybe the reteller left out something important such as the elder telling the children that the act was evil.
