At Least They Spelled My Name Right

Tue, Jan 23, 2007 at 9:16:57 pm PST

Uh... it’s always nice to be recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the web’s top bloggers.

But apparently that recognition doesn’t extend to actually being... recognized. Who the heck is this in their picture? In Pictures: The Web Celeb 25 - Forbes.com.

Gotta love it.

UPDATE at 1/23/07 9:47:08 pm:

The picture came from a moonbat’s blog, above a nasty comment about me ... and it’s actually Martin Peretz, owner of the New Republic: Welcome to Pottersville: Assclowns of the Week #44: Primary Colors Edition. (Scroll down.)

Ironic enough?

UPDATE at 1/24/07 7:57:39 am:

The moonbat who runs the hate blog linked above has noticed the traffic from LGF, and has spewed some more venom in my direction. For some reason these guys seem to think calling me “Chuckie” is the height of derisive wit.

UPDATE at 1/24/07 8:19:19 am:

I received an email this morning from a Forbes editor apologizing for the mistake; I’ll be sending them a photo of myself to replace Martin Peretz.

UPDATE at 1/24/07 10:45:40 am:

The photo has now been replaced with someone who looks like a young Leonardo DiCaprio. Ahem.

Compare Electricity Prices in your area. Texas Electricity is deregulated; you have the right to choose Texas Electric Rates from among many Texas Electric Companies.

Ron Paul knocked some sense into me and now you guys seem really are out there.
