-RetweetPelosi Has CODEPINK Arrested

Fri, Mar 23, 2007 at 9:55:43 am PDT

Nancy Pelosi had the Capitol Police round up the CODEPINK kooks outside her office and drag them away this morning, provoking a round of whining and sobbing: Anti-war protesters arrested at Pelosi’s office.

CODEPINK members were crying outside Pelosi’s office. When asked why, Rae Abileah, 24, said she was crying out of “outrage that this is all we can get from the Democrats,” referring to the Iraq supplemental funding bill, scheduled for a vote Friday.

“We’re just heartbroken that Nancy Pelosi has decided to keep funding George Bush’s war, and now the war belongs to the Democrats as well as the Republicans,” said CODEPINK co-founder Medea Benjamin. “We thought we were going to get a change when they came into power.”

Good work, Nancy. Wouldn’t want the Democrats’ base supporters hanging around while the Dems try to push through the surrender bill. Kind of messes up the image, you know.

(It’s amazing how much the CODEPINK behavior resembles that of very small, very spoiled children. They want everything NOW, or else they throw tantrums, lay on the floor, and scream. Then they weep if they don’t get their way.)
