At Iran’s Fars News Agency (where they think nothing of faking photographs for propaganda purposes) we discover that a warm reception awaits House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. No link because the Fars News web site is known to attempt various browser exploits.

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Vice Chairman of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission here on Friday voiced preparedness to attend talks with the US House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi.

Speaking to FNA, Mohammad Nabi Roudaki said, “We are ready to attend parliamentary talks with the speaker of the US Congress, Nancy Pelosi.”

Oh, and of course, “Death to America!”

Meantime, he reminded that such preparedness should not be interpreted as restoration of political ties with the US, “because the US administration is a bullying and occupying government which ignores the rights of nations and violates the international and diplomatic rules and regulations.”

You can tell what they think of our music by the places we are forced to play it in. This looks like a good spot for a livestock show. -- The Mothers of Invention were opening for Cream in April of 1968 in Chicago. The place was very large and did look like it had been used for displays of cattle and other such animals.
