-RetweetUpdate: Muslim Brotherhood Says They Weren't Invited

Fri, Apr 13, 2007 at 4:42:41 pm PDT

The Muslim Brotherhood is denying yesterday’s report that they were invited to speak to US Congress: Islamist Group Denies Report of Hoyer Invitation to Visit Congress.

(CNSNews.com) - The Muslim Brotherhood has denied an Egyptian newspaper report saying that a visiting delegation led by House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer had invited members of the radical Islamist group to visit the U.S. Congress.

“These reports are totally groundless,” Muslim Brotherhood executive bureau member Mohamed Mursi said in a statement posted on the organization’s website.

Mursi said the group’s stance on dialogue with any foreign official was that “this dialogue should be held through sound diplomatic methods in the presence of a representative from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.”

The independent Egyptian daily al-Mesryoon reported Thursday that the Hoyer delegation had invited Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed Mahdi Akef and several other officials to visit the U.S. next month and address lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

The Muslim Brotherhood's Propaganda Offensive

The MB's Ikhwan English website, developed in late 2006, runs articles promoting the "benevolence" of the movement and the MB's " reform and moderation," and praising multiculturalism as the way to proliferate Islam.

On the MB Arabic website, however, their leader Mahdi Akef, in his February 22 weekly address, reassured his followers that "the jihad will lead to smashing Western civilization and replacing it with Islam which will dominate the world." Moreover, Akef decreed that in the event that Muslims cannot achieve this goal in the near future,

"Muslims are obliged to continue the jihad that will cause the collapse of Western civilization and the ascendance of the Muslim civilization on its ruins."

I was wrong about something. After careful study of the models, I had decided that AUS area was as far South along I-35 as tornadoes were likely to occur.

Someone had asked about HYI area, and I thought their risks were low.

Well, I was wrong about tornadoes South of I-10

Gee, and all this time the MSM has been telling us what a "moderate-conservative" Steny Hoyer is, compared to Ms. Pelosi's preferred candidate for Majority Leader.

Oh, right- by their standards, this does qualify as moderation. I mean, it's not like he's sounding like Cindy Sheehan or anything.

/do I really need to use the "sarc" tag?

#17: In the book Religion and State, scholar L. Carl Brown describes how an Iranian man called Ali Shari'ati conditioned the young, and more particularly the educated young, to countenance the idea of a revolutionary movement led by Khomeini by demonstrating how Islam was compatible with Marxism. Educated at the Sorbonne in France, those Parisian years were crucial in the development of Shari'ati's ideology. He associated himself with the Algerian nationalist movement and also translated Guerilla Warfare, the book by revolutionary icon, torturer and mass murderer Che Guevera, into Persian. According to Brown, Shari'ati "managed to nationalize (or, better, Islamize) third world revolutionary doctrine," and the Shari'ati ideology "paved the way to acceptance of Khomeini as revolutionary leader."

Of course, when the Marxists had cooperated in overthrowing the Shah in the mistaken belief that they were best buddies with the Muslims, as soon as Khomeini and his Islamic cronies felt powerful enough to do without allies, the godless Socialists were the first ones to hang from lampposts across Iran.

Some people never learn...

HIZBALQAEDA

There is a general suspicion among parts of the intelligence community in Washington that Hezbollah and Al Qaeda, despite their differences, have cooperated in the past and continue to cooperate on jihad-related activities against the United States and its interests at home and abroad.

In June 2004, the U.S. 9/11 commission found no operational ties between Al Qaeda and Iraq. It did, however, conclude that Osama bin Laden's global terrorist network had long-running contacts with Iran and Hezbollah.

The alleged relationship between Al Qaeda and Hezbollah hit the spotlight in 2000 when it was reported that Imad Mugniyah, an international terrorist who is widely believed to be associated with Hezbollah, met with Osama bin Laden in Sudan to plan the bombings of the U.S. embassies in Africa.

Without access to reliable intelligence, the above allegation and others simply cannot be independently refuted. That one or more alleged Hezbollah members may have met in their lifetimes with a leader or fighter belonging to Al Qaeda's global network is a possibility that cannot be repudiated.

All the reports of tennis to softball sized hail in Wise, Perker, Tarrant and Dallas county (and soon to be Kaufman and Rockwall) suggests an insurance disaster that in money terms is comparable to a Cat 2 or Cat 3 hurricane hitting along the Gulf Coast.

I'd also suspect baseball hail blown at 70 mph plus can't be good for all the jets, mainly American Airlines, parked at DFW.

Egyptian police have arrested at least nine members of the opposition Muslim Brotherhood - in the latest round of detentions targeting the group.
The arrests are part of an ongoing crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood, and they follow last month's passage of constitutional amendments giving the government sweeping security powers. The Brotherhood and other groups boycotted the referendum.

I cannot at this time recollect the exact circumstances of Hitlers rise, but there was an early group that helped him rise to his Chancellorship that was eliminated once his ascension was secured.

wikipedia - Ernst Röhm
Night of the long knives

The Night of the Long Knives (Saturday June 30 and Sunday July 1, 1934) (German, Nacht der langen Messer), also known as Reichsmordwoche, "Operation Hummingbird" or "the Blood Purge", was a lethal purge of Adolf Hitler's potential political rivals in the Sturmabteilung (SA; also known as storm troopers or brown shirts). The SA was the paramilitary organization of the Nazi Party that had helped the Nazis rise to power in the 1920's, culminating with Hitler being appointed Chancellor of Germany in 1933.

By secret communique, the Brotherhood (AKA the Muslim Brotherhood to all you infidels and jooos) has advised me that they will not be coming to DC until the following conditions are met:
The MB will be welcomed by parades in DC in honor of the surrender of the US to the forces of the suicidal cult;
The parade will be silent (no infidel music) and Nancy Chamberlain in a burka will present flowers to the noble arriving conquerors;
Shillary will wash the feet of the noble emirs, caliphs, etc., prior to the great ceremony at the then Washington, no strike that, Mohammed, cathedral, no mosque;
The ceremony, however, is scheduled for just after the dhimmicratic victory in 2008.

These reports are totally groundless,” Muslim Brotherhood executive bureau member Mohamed Mursi said in a statement posted on the organization’s website.

I don't know about anyone else, but this sounds very similar to an ixnay on the invitenay, via the DNCnay.

Well, with the Koran commanding Muslims to lie to non-Muslims - what else should anyone expect except confusion?

I say - shame on ALL of America's leaders [on both sides of the isle] for not taking a stand against Islam - PERIOD! - with the "Just Say No" policy.

The future for all of our children depends on it.

The Left and Islam share similarities in many respects; primarily their mutual disdain for the Jew and Christian and the morals based on the writings of Moses and the servants.

According to Yaron Brook (last night's panel discussion), what they chiefly share is a hatred of the success and happiness of their enemy -- the capitalist and free West. According to their gods, we do everything that should lead to disaster and misery -- and yet we continue to be happy, properous, free, scientifically advanced, and powerful. We're doing everything wrong (enjoying life) and they're doing everything right (pursuing death and denying themselves all pleasure) and yet after all their obedience and all their self-inflicted suffering, they're still not in charge. They're still not having fun. It enrages them to murderous heights.

If you ask me, this emotional thing -- shared hatred and burning resentment -- is scarier than the intellectual thing. We're talking obsessions and fantasies of violent rape, the sacking of American cities, mushroom clouds.

#113 Square Peg: Concur Yr Analysis!

The jealousy, the obvious cognitive dissonance, the denial of joy on a personal level, the (seriously) repressed sexual energy, the angst, the self-loathing, the continued Arab/Muslim poverty (accented by occasional news reports through a neighbor's TV, showing western opulence!), the enforced sexual apartheid, and the Muslim clergy's continued refusal to allow Muslim ummah to learn of Baha'u'llah...

THESE provide fuel for RAGE, and if the fire burns the enraged individual, Insh'allah, it is the Will of God!

The Muslim Brotherhood is pretty much the same as the Aryan Brotherhood - a racist, genocidal hate organization. If the Democrats are trying to reach out to these cretins, they have really hit rock bottom.

Realy carridine?

Have you never read the Koran?

It teaches the most wicked teachings when it comes to sexual pleasure.

Have you never read what is required of Muslims who dicorce their first wife?

You will deffinately be surprised if you haven't.

And those two groups, Moslem Brotherhood and Ayran Brotherhood are the real power inside America's federal prison system. It is there that they both recruit and often train their most violent American operatives.

===

Do we have any confirmation of Hoyer meeting with MB/Egypt?

Considering that I live in Maryland and considering that Moslem Brotherhood has both promised to kill me and sworn that there would never be any negotiation on that issue...

I think I have more than just a right to know what my "elected" representative was "negotiating" about with the Moslem Brotherhood.

I have a responsibility to know what was discussed, in great detail.

Words have power Render. (Never forget that)

But - the question is - how many are willing to come forth with words that will not only save their own lives - but the future for their children also?

And how does such power '''Unite''' so that they can be effective? What foundation can unite them?

That is a question

Why would anyone in their right mind invite these sub-humans to anything. If Islam is to survive then it has to be represented by intelligent people, who can come to terms with the advanced civilisation of western culture.

121 uptight  Sat, Apr 14, 2007 12:12:37am

That's a non-denial denial.

"the reports are groundless" could mean "the report may be true, but you don't have an official confirmation"

“this dialogue should be held through sound diplomatic methods in the presence of a representative from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.” is hardly a denial, either

Normally, any group like that would be tooting its own horn to the max and emphasizing whatever influence it might seen to have.

But here, perhaps they are more interested in protecting their comrades in the struggle, the Democracks, from having their useful cover as a responsible political party blown too hastily over this invitation.
