Ron Paul Supporters Show the Love

Thu, May 17, 2007 at 7:50:44 am PDT

Wow. The Ron Paul zombies were really busy last night. I have more than two dozen hate mails this morning, each more obscene than the last. I’m a Nazi. I’m a Jew. I’m a fascist. I’m an establishment bootlicker. I’m cowardly, moronic, and myopic. How do I sleep at night? I suck, and I should have carnal relations with myself. Ron Paul is the only one who can save our “cesspool of a country.” I’m a racist piece of sh*t, and a fake chickenhawk.

Here’s a good one:

All of you who believe in AlKida or the US Government are complete and
total idots!

Some are demanding proof that our poll was spammed. Some are threatening to “expose my fraud.”

Most of them insist that our poll wasn’t spammed, that Ron Paul is the only hope for America, and that I am one of the most evil beings in the universe.

Good morning, lizards!

Most of them insist that our poll wasn’t spammed, that Ron Paul is the only hope for America, and that I am one of the most evil beings in the universe.

Well, we will see if the rest of America will put Ron Paul into the White House, won't we? It's incredible that they would get their panties in a bunch over a meaningless internet poll such that they would viciously attack Charles over it. Shows their level of maturity, or lack thereof.

15 realwest  Thu, May 17, 2007 7:59:03am

I'm not in the US and have never even heard of this Ron Paul, but I hope he's proud of himself if he's attracting people like that.

It would be nice for those baboon testicle lickers to be more original and creative in their commentary.

OT HUMAN RIGHTS SHOCKER: Hamas: We'll 'resume' terrorism

By Stan Goodenough
May 17, 2007

The Muslim “Palestinian” terror group Hamas, which dominates the Palestinian Authority created by the Oslo Agreement, vowed Thursday to unleash a new wave of jihadist bombers against Israeli civilians.

Hamas made the threat after the Israeli Air Force bombed its offices, fired on a car carrying terrorists, and hit an Islamic Jihad terror cell in the Gaza Strip in an attempt to force and end to the barrage of Kassam rocket attacks on Israeli population centers.

A number of Israelis have been wounded, and hundreds have had to be evacuated from the Negev town of Sderot as tens of rockets rained down in the area this week.

According to Arab sources, two people were killed and dozens were wounded in the IAF strikes.

Hamas, which has for years waged a terror campaign killing hundreds of Jewish men, women and children, is now charging that Israel has “declared war” against its people.

A spokesman for the group said it reserved the right to resume its attacks (which it has never really stopped trying to carry out), including “suicide” bombings – against Israel.

32 Innismir  Thu, May 17, 2007 8:06:09am

Am I the only one who has no clue who Ron Paul is?

I'm not paying attention at this point because this is WAY too freaking early to start thinking about 11/08.

Of course, every time I hear "Ron Paul" I instantly think RuPaul. Creepy, Huh?

33 trip  Thu, May 17, 2007 8:07:02am

Who is this Ron Paul? I had no idea who he was until the other night. He will not be president - he does not carry himself well, he does not look presidential, but most importantly he talked himself out of a job!

It's time to stop laughing at conspiracy freaks and their deranged worldview.
They are dangerously evil and dishonest power-seekers, all of them, and a growing force in the world of media and politics. The entire Muslim jihad, for example, is sustained by conspiracy theories.
I have said before that, in broadest terms, the current struggle is a surge point in human evolution. The commercial conspiracy believer represents the purest and most concentrated form of the counter-survival traits that are the targets of this surge.
Destroy them root and branch, or go down to insanity and extinction.

That's actually pretty close to the mark. A lot of these people are extreme libertarian types (i.e. not like normal libertarians - no pun intended, get it normal = NORML - who just want no taxes and the freedom to smoke as much pot as they could humanly handle). These are the guys who think laws against murder are too much government intrusion and are indicative of the "nanny state". They often call themselves "minarchists" or something similar.

I'm not paying (much) attention yet either, but the primaries, which these debates areleading towards, are sooner than 11/08. Iowa may move theirs to this weekend, just to make sure they're up front.

55 ibrodsky  Thu, May 17, 2007 8:15:43am

I didn't know who Ron Paul is. Someone here saw me complaining about our current leaders, and asked me what I thought of Ron Paul, implying he was different in a good way.

I went to his website. The first thing I looked for was his position on Iraq. He is no different than most Democrats on the war.

I've since noticed that he bears a great resemblance to the virulently anti-semitic John Birch Society... In fact, Ron Paul's book is the "featured product of the month" at the John Birch Society website book store.

So, he is saying that AlKida doesn't really exist, and neither does the US Government?

Or is he saying 'believe in' as in trust? Because I'm pretty sure this site doesn't trust AlKida.

And what is AlKida?

Did Nicole Kidman take over Al Qaeda, and so they renamed it, like when Sammy Hagar joined Van Halen and some people took to calling the band Van Hagar?

Perhaps AlKida is an associated group of Al Qaeda for kids, like Junior Civitans.

"Just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn't mean that we're not going to walk into that home and check to see if you're being responsible and safe in the way that you conduct your affairs," Harris said.

Yup, another leftard who apparently hasn't heard of the Constitution. Hey, Harris, you utter leftard, you can't do that in the US. Maybe go to Cuba or communist North Korea -- you'd fit right in there, where those pesky "rights" don't get in the way of your dictatorial asperations!

At what point in American history did trusting your goverment, and hating your enemy become bad?

76 Bearster  Thu, May 17, 2007 8:28:14am

The Libertarian Party is anti-liberty because it's just a front for anarchism.

Bush has attempted to fight "terror" without naming an enemy--or winning. This has given war a bad name in the eyes of many people.

The shame is that Libertarianism does the same thing for liberty, in the same way. It's a corrupted notion of "libert" that is actually the exact opposite. So it leaves many people feeling that the only alternative is socialism.

If that were indeed the choice, socialism vs. anarchism, socialism would be preferable. But this is a false alternative.

The Founding Fathers envisioned laissez-faire capitalism with a real government, real laws, real enforcement of laws, and a real military.

Would probably help their argument if they were older than 19 and actually visited outside the state at least once before spouting off a bunch a drivel they read off their favorite conspiracy site.

The 7-year tantrum continues.... So tired.

Some levity from Protein Wisdom on being a Libertarian. (Warning - "progressives " and "leftists" will find it confusing.)

In short, the problem with libertarianism is that in its effort to appear non-judgmental (and champion individual rights), it is, in fact, passing judgment on those who use market forces and persuasion to argue their positions—and in so doing, often aligns itself with cultural progressives, who use coercion to a far greater degree, in my opinion, to enforce their virtues.

the goverment has become the enemy of freedom of of the People of the United States.

every day more stupid laws are passed that tell us how much water our toilets can have, what we can or cant eat, ect.

the politicians feel their job performance is measured in how many laws htye pass, with aero reguard for the laws already on the books.

Bush's only redeaming value is that he was willing to fight those that killed 3,000 of us and he isnt doing that in a way that will bring victory to us.

democrats se goverment as the solution (to problems that goverment itself created).

the tipping point is fast approaching.....

91 jackfetch  Thu, May 17, 2007 8:35:25am

Taking a hip-booted stroll through leftist radio the past two days, and all you hear is how the horrid, non-free-speech, repressive, right-wing-fascist Fox News did its best to shut up the "honorable," "thoughtful," and "nuanced" (that one cracks me up) views of Ron Paul. The only candidate on the Republican side with more than "talking points." etc etc.

Hey, Ron Paul-heads... when Randy Rhodes and her ilk are 100% behind your efforts, when the Daily Kos is rooting for you... do you think maybe... YOU'RE WRONG?

If it looks like a moonbat, smells like a moonbat, loads polls, hate mails, and believes in conspiracy fairy tales like a moonbat...

92 docduke  Thu, May 17, 2007 8:35:58am

It has literally been years since I have commented here -- thanks for remembering my login info.

1. Perspective. I've been a fan of Ron Paul for decades. Sometimes, it seems that he is the only one left in Washington that still remembers what is in the Constitution.

2. Vote Spamming. These reports attribute the high number of suspicious internet votes to Ron Paul supporters, and assume they are from the Right. However, it is worth remembering that the Kos Kidz have also expressed an appreciation for Ron. If they are the source of the "noise," it would be more consistent with the profanity you are receiving.

Long ago, I had a similar motivation. In Virginia the Republican primaries were a "beauty contest," the primary voters could vote as they wished, and the Republican insiders would nominate whomever they wished. The Democrats actually used the primary votes to determine their candidate. So I, and many others I spoke with, registered Democratic, and voted for Jesse Jackson, at least partly to give the "real" Democrats fits. It is possible that the votes for Ron Paul are following the same principle. Those who are analyzing the spam votes could probably determine whether they are coming more from the Left or the Right.

3. Viability. Ron Paul has had an unshakeable faith in the Constitution. He is not a lawyer. He has been on the principled side of many, perhaps most, issues. We very much need someone like him. However, based on his performance in the last debate, I believe his time has come, and gone!

Somebody please show me his successor!

Charles

Are we all invited to your Bar Mitzvah?

And I wonder what the cretins will do to this man:

Michigan GOP leader wants Paul barred from future debates

The chairman of the Michigan Republican Party said Wednesday that he will try to bar Ron Paul from future GOP presidential debates because of remarks the Texas congressman made that suggested the Sept. 11 attacks were the fault of U.S. foreign policy.

Michigan party chairman Saul Anuzis said he will circulate a petition among Republican National Committee members to ban Paul from more debates. At a GOP candidates' debate Tuesday night, Paul drew attacks from all sides, most forcefully from former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, when he linked the terror attacks to U.S. bombings.

"Have you ever read about the reasons they attacked us? They attack us because we've been over there. We've been bombing Iraq for 10 years," Paul said.

Anuzis called the comments "off the wall and out of whack."

"I think he would have felt much more comfortable on the stage with the Democrats in what he said last night. And I think that he is a distraction in the Republican primary and he does not represent the base and he does not represent the party," Anuzis said during an RNC state leadership meeting.

"Given what he said last night it was just so off the wall and out of whack that I think it was more detrimental than helpful."

Anuzis said his petition would go to debate sponsors and broadcasters to discourage inviting Paul.

Jesse Benton, Paul's campaign spokesman, said the candidate "is supporting the traditional GOP foreign policy. I think it's a shame when people try to silence the traditional conservative Republican standpoint."

After the debate Tuesday, Paul said he didn't' expect his remarks to end his campaign.

"The last time I got a message out about my position on the war it boosted us up by tens of thousands and I didn't change my position," Paul said. "I think the American people are sick and tired of this war and want it ended."

I’m a Nazi. I’m a Jew.

    Good trick, that ...

I’m a fascist. I’m an establishment bootlicker.

Is this whole thing a list of self-contradictory statements?  Sheesh.

I’m cowardly, moronic, and myopic.

You mean like the craven bits of flotsam that fired salvos at you from their hidden basement apartments?  Heh.

How do I sleep at night?

Why do you sleep at night is a better question ... don't you know there are Islamic folks out there that intend you harm?

I suck, and I should have carnal relations with myself.

If you suck, aren't you already having carnal relations with someone?

Ron Paul is the only one who can save our “cesspool of a country.”

I'm a bigger supporter of Ron Jeremy.  At least Mr. Jeremy has a set, as millions of people have been able to ascertain.  Someone should point that out to these turds (aka denizens of a cess-pool).

I’m a racist piece of sh*t, and a fake chickenhawk.

Thank goodness for being a fake chickenhawk.  A real one would be problematic.  We'd have to alert Foghorn.  The rest of that looks like projection to me.

Here’s a good one:
All of you who believe in AlKida or the US Government are complete and total idots!

Can one be an incomplete but total idiot, or a less-than-total but complete idiot?  And wtf is AlKida?  Something like Hentai?

Some are demanding proof that our poll was spammed.

Fark 'em.  (Not really, they're probably all diseased ... )

Some are threatening to “expose my fraud.”

Don't they first have to learn how to reason?

Most of them insist that our poll wasn’t spammed, that Ron Paul is the only hope for America, and that I am one of the most evil beings in the universe.

Funny, you don't look like my exwife.  Well, except maybe for the hair, but really, there's almost no resemblence.

Good morning, lizards!

'Morning Dad ... did you know that you left the gate open yesterday and now the lawn is covered with idiots?  We'll shoo them back out.

Ron Paul is the USA's version of Le Pen of France. I supported Le Pen, too. I also like Buchanan, Tancredo, the Minute Men and websites such as VDARE and American Renaissance.

And yet, I'm considered: quite well educated; (but only by modern American standards; such as they are) mild-mannered; well off and happy enough --especially when I don't read the news; certainly don't write or encourage others to write hateful e-mails, posts or distribute such bile by any means.

Perhaps I'm a representive example of MANY if not MOST of Paul's supporters.

While Ron Paul is certainly not my favorite candidate (RUN FRED!), I do agree with some of his domestic ideas. The size of government should be reduced, and the Constitution should be used in determining what should be reduced.

HOWEVER, he is a f**king idiot over 9/11. And as a candidate for the Commander in Chief position, he better d*mn well better be able to figure out who the enemy is.

So, here is a quiz for Ron Paul and his supporters...

Before crashing planes into the twin towers, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania, the terrorists shouted...?

(a) "Here's to America's foreign policy!"
(b) "For the injustice of the West!"
(c) "D*mn America for dropping bombs on Iraq!"
(d) "Allahu Ackbar!" (god is greatest)

Obviously, Ron Paul has NOT listened to what the terrorists are saying...

Is this your understanding of "well-educated" and "mild-mannered," which is a pretty tasteless self-description as it is. That bizarre kind of thing raises a question in itself. So, do they offer degrees from WND about the Mexican-American superhighway now?

The Bircher conspiracy theorists / supporters Ron Paul / Alex Jones' folks will find no quarter from me. I think libertarians have some things to add to the discussion about rights and economics, but when it comes to dealing with concrete, real issues, they are simply insane.

12 is an exaggeration. He ran at least twice as a Libertarian. He was a Republican Congressman and broke with the GOP back in the eighties. The LP loves him because he actually WON an election. Now he's back in the GOP.

lol! Charles? How is the carnal relations with yourself coming along? Enjoyable?

Wow, that's straight out of Plan 9 from Outer Space: "All you people of earth are IDIOTS."

177 Protagonist  Thu, May 17, 2007 2:01:11pm

I'm a Libertarian, an officer in my locak Libertarian Party and the treasurer of a Libertarian campaign for local board of supervisors. I can't stand Ron Paul. His assertions for a free market are dubious at best, given that he doesn't support NAFTA and wants to hermetically seal of the US Border. (Worked great for China and East Germany, didn't it?) He's not a true libertarian, never was, and is best characterized as a Buchananite Paleo-Conservative.

Don't worry about Libertarians supporting this country. They all own guns and love their freedom and independence. When the jihadis start to harass the US in earnest, and start to seriously, dictate to us how to live and pray, they'll know what side to fight for.

i made a joking reference to ron paul as Ru Paul on craig's list once and his supporter's came unglued.

Ruh-roh! Roo pauled Ron Pawh Ru Pawh! Ruh-roh, Shaggy!

(At one point in the no-too-distant past, "Ron Paul Republicans" were supposed to be a good thing but now they just sound like moonbats with an elephant nose strapped to their heads. (Kinda like how the Nodrog claimed he was conservative/Republican; yeah, righttttt....)

Charles,

Why not have a new poll?

"Most evil being in the universe."

I've already been called the "embodiment of all evil on Earth."

You would have to include me as a choice in the poll.

I lived in Texas (72 to 86) and part of that time, ron paul was my "representative". Most who were aware of his "leanings" at that time were more than embarrassed. What suprises me is that he still manages to get re-elected.

[sigh] NO, I'm not anti-Jewish in the least. Jews have a right to live where they wish, have a country--Israel-- that is safe and secure and Jewish. Jews continue to contribute mightily and way out of proportion to their population in every country they live in. I believe there is good evidence for their intellectual superiority, actually. They are indeed God's Chosen people and I would not wish harm to any of them.

France is lost but Le Pen was for the real French, not the immigrants. Last time I looked, Jews have been an enriching part of every European country and are not outsiders. Sometimes, if a person simply considers Jews as equals to other groups, folks mistake that stance as anti-Jewish. Buchanan is one such person who gets misjudged on that score, IMO. Jews are hyper-sensitive due to historical reasons whenever anyone says, "Immigrants out" but I think America's Jews will soon realize that a majority European-based USA was the best hope for a thriving Jewish population in the USA. Many have already heard the tune, and are preparing to migrate to China I've read recently. I think we all had better learn Chinese and Spanish if we stay in the USA!

I mentioned education and such because some folks generally believe anyone who disagrees with them is a snaggle-tooth moron. I have great teeth (ooops bragging again) and a Mensa-sized I.Q. and quite decent undergraduate degree from a large university.

There may be marvelous attributes that can said of atrocious figures of history or the present, but such 'positive' points or rationalizations can never excuse what wrongs these people have done or do. What I noted about Le Pen above is completely true; the people who were most revolted by his frequent racist and antisemitic language were conservatives in Europe, because he was taken by many to represent the anti-Islamist right. Pat Buchanan has spoken numerous times about the occult powers of Jews who control Washington -- this should be sickening and viewed as evil by, yes, even you. Therein, that is, in such cases, lies the kernel of the problem: perhaps for the sake of advancing a theory of paleo-libertarianism or radical isolationism, you overlook and excuse the basic malice of these people. That's solid evidence of a complete lack of a moral compass, placing oneself behind dangerous and racially motivated people.

The suggestion that judgments about Buchanan or Le Pen are made on the basis of Jews' hypersensitivity is false and patronizing. This is indecent and in fact seeking to explain and cover over the stench emanating from these people's hate-filled souls. Take statements like the following from Buchanan's book (via ADl): "Israel is free to choose. But American needs a Middle East policy made in the USA, not in Tel Aviv, or at AIPAC or AEI" or "America has given up its role as 'honest broker.' President Bush no longer sits at the head of the negotiating table, but directly behind Sharon." These statements about Jewish conspiracy theories have been made openly and continually. Furthermore, I am not Jewish, but rather try to confront this evil in a sober manner.

Again, regardless of "anyone" who thinks Ron Paul supporters are x or y, it should be a sign to you and others that you feel the need to claim, over the internet, that you have these attributes. That is about as poor in form as it gets -- and the people who claim these things tend to be the contrary of the high quality, superior character they portray. The evidence seems to bear that out as well.

All of you who believe in AlKida or the US Government are complete and
total idots!

This person really needs to learn to use their spell check.

Thanks for the laugh Charles. I promise I will never call you an idot! What the hell is an idot? Thank goodness you have all of us you love you Charles!

i heard all chuck has to do is get a couple drinks into himself and...

187 Joan Not of Arc  Thu, May 17, 2007 8:06:09pm

Do these people even listen to themselves? I mean, I realise that if you are going to spout bullshit you needn't be consistent (though it would help) because everything one says is nonsense, anyway, but really- they pile contradictions up like nothing. They should be forced to listen to recordings of themselves when they speak so they can hear how bad they sound.

I'm very late to the e-world, sorry for this post. There's a psychological name for a mental illness in which a person believes he/she is the only real person (possibly entity) in the whole Universe. Everyone and everything else is part of the jig; a cosmic size "Truman Show." Anyone know the name of the malady?
