Jamaican Islamic Community Welcomes 7/7 Hate Preacher

Tue, May 29, 2007 at 8:24:17 pm PDT

Before being deported from Britain back to his native Jamaica, Islamic hate preacher Abdullah El-Faisal told young British Muslims it was their duty to kill non-believers, Jews, Hindus and Westerners, urging them to adopt a “jihad mentality”. He also promised schoolboys that they would be rewarded with “72 virgins in paradise” if they died in a holy war. He was the “mentor” for one of the July 7 London bombers.

And he’s being welcomed back to Jamaica with open arms by the Islamic community: Islamic community extends olive branch to el-Faisal.

JAMAICA’S Muslims have made it clear they will welcome reputed hate preacher Abdullah el-Faisal into the community unless he proves himself unworthy, following his deportation to the island last Friday.

“As a Muslim coming back to Jamaica, we welcome him. We welcome any and every Muslim who come here as long as they abide by the rules and regulations that are stipulated,” president of the Islamic Council of Jamaica (ICJ) Mustafa Muhammad told the Sunday Observer.

At the same time, he said they were relieved to learn of el-Faisal’s release from prison.“As a member of Muslim family in general, we are somewhat relieved that he has been released from prison. Just like any family member who has gone to prison and is released, family members will experience joy and relief that he is out,” Muhammad said.

“It is now up to that person (who was in prison) to prove whether their going to prison was justified and whether they have learned anything from the term they spent in prison. And actions will prove stronger than words,” he added.

What is that suposed to mean?!

4 Sharmuta  Tue, May 29, 2007 8:29:03pm
At the same time, he made it clear they would not sit by and allow el-Faisal to preach any message of hate under the guise that that is what Islam is about.

M'kaaay...

"If he [el-Faisal] says anything that from an Islamic point of view is not [of the religion] then we will not just keep silent. We will make it clear that this is not what we are about. And we will have no apologies for that," he said.

Boy- this could be fun. I predict fitna in the Jamacian ummah.

For the newer lizards, be sure to read Dr. David Cook's, Understanding Jihad. It is filled with primary sources which make it clear that the majority of Islamic authors use "Jihad" as fighting on Allah's path to make Islam supreme.

Btw: the publisher's blurb is wrong. Cook defines Jihad as "religiously mandated warfare," which is as about as close to "Holy War" as one can get.

Statistics in this article claim the Jamaican Islamic community is only about 4500 persons. If this guy fouls up and gets excluded, he's going to get awful lonely. I'll bet he misses the jihad so much that he moves to the Gulf in a year or less (probably to S.A.).

Bush Takes On Opponents of Immigration Bill

By JIM RUTENBERG

GLYNCO, Ga., May 29 — President Bush took on parts of his conservative base on Tuesday by accusing opponents of his proposed immigration measure of fear-mongering to defeat its passage in Congress.

“If you want to scare the American people, what you say is the bill’s an amnesty bill,” Mr. Bush said at a training center for customs protection agents and other federal agents here in southeastern Georgia. “That’s empty political rhetoric trying to frighten our citizens.”

***

“If you want to kill the bill,” he said, “if you don’t want to do what’s right for America, you can pick one little aspect out of it. You can use it to frighten people.”

This reads so much like Ahmedinejhad's boasting (while standing on a booster platform) about the super super secret new weapons that would destroy the Zionist Entity and the Great Satan.

For the Russkies, a major technological advance, coming a mere two decades after their boasting of a "robotized washboard factory".

O.T. - Remember also that people have been using opiates in that society for thousands of years. It's usage is a pre-Islamic cultural thing. That, as much as anything, accounts for the attitude toward the use of some drugs in Iran. Casual usage runs high (no pun intended). People from all walks of life smoke opium or use heroin. The war with Iraq created lots of addicts, as do the miserable economic conditions of many Iranian communities.

Do as I say type of mentality. The laws on paper appear to be very strict.

Which, in a totalitarian fascist state like Iran, allows the thugocracy to engage in selective enforcement. Allows them to get rid of those they don't like with the "rule of law" while ignoring those from whom the leaders have support or are neutral.

Mashaal: Armed resistance will end occupation

Hamas political leader Khaled Mashaal has warned that the efforts of the international community to undermine his organization will cause the situation to "blow up in the face of the Israeli occupier," Israel Radio reported overnight Tuesday.

In an interview with British newspaper The Guardian, Mashaal blamed negative outside sources for the tensions between Hamas and Fatah, primarily Israel and the US.

He said that armed resistance was what would bring about an end to the occupation and what caused former prime minister Ariel Sharon to pull out of the Gaza Strip and his predecessor Ehud Barak to leave Lebanon.

I have been to Jamaica 3 times in the last 2 years and found it interesting that Jamaica is predominately Christian. The Rastas are a small minority. The Rastafarian religion was started in Ethiopia and most Jamaicans are decendants of Ethiopians, both the Rastas and the Christians. The Rastas won't be of any use in countering any jihad in Jamaica (they are too damned stoned all the time), but the Christians and non-religious won't tolerate any jihad crap. Kingston has some pretty wicked gangs, very violent and they won't put up with any shit from muslims. I'd hate to see Jamaica fall to the islamists, it is a very beautiful country and I love visiting there.

#57 MarineVet:

An excellent question. Many Christian teachers have evolved theologically into a state of hypocrisy and illness. The Catholic Church has consistently taught that a person can sin through acts of commission (doing something evil) and acts of ommission (failing to do something good and necessary). To not feed the hungry, to ignore the sick and homeless, to walk past an injured peson lying in the street--all of these are sins by omission. Yet due to an increasing sense of moral relativity, the Church is now teaching its people to stand by and do nothing while evil people kill innocent people. To the Catholic Church, and many other Christian Churches as well, killing a Jihadi as he attacks others is just as evil as killing a toddler for the fun of it. Christian theology has become pathetic and it is the main reason my faith is on its own now.
