Breaking: Terror Plot at Kennedy Airport

Sat, Jun 2, 2007 at 8:57:22 am PDT

This report must be a mistake; after all, John Edwards says there is no terrorist threat: 4 Charged In Plot To Blow Up Jet Fuel At JFK.

NEW YORK — According to NewsChannel4’s Jonathan Dienst, sources said federal investigators have made arrests in an alleged terror plot on Kennedy Airport.

Four people have been charged. One is in custody in New York.

Sources said the plot involved a plan to blow up a jet-fuel pipeline at JFK setting off a potential massive explosion.

Law enforcement officials said the plot may involve a former airport worker.

A press conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. this afternoon.

What are the odds that at least one of the alleged plotters is named Mohammed?

(Hat tip: LGF readers.)

UPDATE at 6/2/07 9:54:58 am:

One of the alleged plotters, Abdul Kabir, is a former member of the parliament of Guyana, and was arrested in Trinidad.

Some LGF posts on radical Islam in Trinidad:
RoP Murder in Trinidad?
RoP in Trinidad
RoP Leader Arrested in Trinidad

UPDATE at 6/2/07 9:58:42 am:

Again, the media are obsessively asking “experts” whether the plotters were connected to Al Qaeda, and again, it appears they were not.

Let’s all just ignore that big green elephant in the middle of the living room, shall we?

UPDATE at 6/2/07 10:02:17 am:

More names: Russell Defreitas (aka Mohammed), Abdul Nur, Kareem Ibrihim and Abdul Kadir.

UPDATE at 6/2/07 10:08:58 am:

There are connections to the radical Islamic group Jamaat al-Muslimeen. One of our posts about the jihad in Trinidad relates some of the violent history of this group; in 1990, they bombed police headquarters, stormed the Trinidad parliament, and took the prime minister and his cabinet hostage in an attempted coup that killed 24 people. And the plotters in that case were eventually pardoned.

UPDATE at 6/2/07 10:24:56 am:

More info:

Sources said a cargo worker at JFK allegedly began to plot attacking the US last July or August. The cargo worker sought help in carrying out a plan and went to an FBI informant, who gathered information about the plot.

The cargo worker is a U.S. citizen with roots in Guyana. Sources said he be [sic] a former government official in Guyana.

Sources said counter-terrorism officials have been following the plot for a little less than one year.

Sources said the plot involved a plan to blow up a BuckEye jet-fuel pipeline at JFK setting off a potential massive explosion. BuckEye provides fuel to all three NYC-area airports.

Sources said the plot involved putting explosives inside the fuel pipeline but realized that “it was not technically feasible.”

UPDATE at 6/2/07 10:37:06 am:

A possible connection to wanted Al Qaeda operative Adnan Shukrijumah:

FBI agents feared but never confirmed the three men accused of plotting to attack John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York were linked to one of the most wanted al Qaeda leaders, Adnan Shukrijumah, known to have operated out of Guyana and Trinidad.

Officials tell the Blotter on ABCNews.com that they heard repeated references to “Adnan” during the extensive wiretaps conducted on the suspects’ telephone conversations, including calls to Guyana and Trinidad.

There is a $5 million reward for information on Shukrijumah, who officials consider extremely dangerous because of the years he spent living in the Miami area and his known ties to al Qaeda.  Some of the 9/ll hijackers attended a south Florida mosque run by Shukrijumah’s now deceased father.

UPDATE at 6/2/07 12:58:53 pm:

More info at Hot Air: Feds bust terror plot at JFK airport in NYC? Update: Guyana and Trinidad? Update: PDF of complaint added.

Here’s the complaint (PDF).

You all do realize, of course, that this is probably not the only such plot that is active against the large quantities of jet fuel at airports? O'Hare, LAX, and Miami should also be looking out for such plots.

I say this because I thought it was part and parcel of these plans to have more than one such "cell" to plan it. All of the coordinated attacks have had multiple cells initiating such activity.

Police and FBI have their work cut out for them.

Not surprising, but a huge problem. One well placed jihadi working for an airport/airline is all that's needed for an attack to occur.

I'd like to believe that the four aren't going to be Muslim terrorists, and that this might be some kind of extortion play by disgruntled former/current workers, but I know better.

This is the kind of plot that would be conjured up by Islamic terrorists who have a hard-on for Port Authority of New York/New Jersey facilities (the WTC and PATH have both been targeted on multiple occasions, as had the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels, the GWB, and Newark Airport was where one of the 9/11 flights took off).

It very well could be "blowback", for the commercial on the Outdoor Channel, where the two Amish men are riding in their buggy, and then they stop, and make sure that nobody is watching, and then they uncover this 4 wheeler, and go meet their buddies who have done the same, and they build a small barn, with power tools and all.

It's Amish "blowback", for sure.

HISTORY OF MY PEOPLE
The Afghan Muslims of Guyana

The Afghans who came to Guyana were mostly Pathans and a few Hazaris. The Pathan comes from the wild west of Pakistan: the Northwest Frontier Province that borders Afghanistan. In his text, Warrior Race. Imran Khan writes, "physically the Pathan has more in common with the people of Central Asia than with those of the subcontinent.

.......

The majority of Pathans are Sunni Muslim. Islam came to them as a great liberating and unifying force. For this reason, their underlying faith and steadfast devotion to Islam is very strong. Pathans are staunch Muslim and will go at length to defend Islam. They practice Islam according to the Quran without deviation. No wonder why we see the Afghan in a prominent role in the history of Guyana. The building of the Queenstown Masjid was the brainchild of the Afghans.

From ABC (yeah, I know....)

Authorities have taken into custody a former cargo worker at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City who allegedly recruited an FBI informant to help blow up jet fuel tanks and pipelines at the airport, law enforcement officials told ABC News.

The plotters had "indirect" links to overseas terror elements and the plot had links to Guyana, Trinidad and possibly Germany, a source said.

The former cargo worker, originally from Guyana, had been under surveillance and allegedly met with a radical group in Trinidad, sources say.

Guess who else is from Guyana.

The limited scope of this plot is troubling. It's not something to out-do 9/11.

The more Muslims we allow in this country, the closer we move to multiple, ongoing, "small" terror hits.

Eventually, we will have allowed so many in, that to get them out will raise the same kind of objections we hear to deporting illegal aliens... "There's too many! We can't deport 12 million people. It's just not realistic. We must find a way to assimilate them into American society." ...etc.

That the plotters mentioned by Charles were pardoned isn't so much of a surprise knowing that one of the four involved in this plot was a Parliamentarian.

Am I to be comforted that they are NOT members of Al Qaeda? I wish they were. I am not comforted that just being Islamic is enough to cause someone to do this, if they are guilty.

158 Bubbaman  Sat, Jun 2, 2007 10:22:44am

We know who's to blame:

After the war, Israel cleared a plaza in front of the wall so Jews could pray there. Among the buildings it demolished was the ancestral home of Raji Burqan, who sold socks and handkerchiefs nearby before he, his pregnant wife and 16 other family members were sent packing to the outskirts of Jerusalem.

"When I first saw an Israeli in 1967, I lost my dignity," he said.

Four decades after an underdog Israeli military captured the world's imagination, the Jewish state is still struggling to come to terms with its victory. The war tripled in size the land under Israel's control and eliminated a threat to its survival. But with victory came burdens, hatreds and many, many deaths for both Israelis and Palestinians.

Today, a majority of Israelis and Palestinians long for a peaceful compromise, but seem no closer than 40 years ago. Mistrust runs deep after convulsions of violence. Israel's settlement expansion and the rise to power of the Islamic militant Hamas movement in the Palestinian territories raise doubt about whether the solution preferred by most — setting up a Palestinian state alongside Israel — is possible.

Hmm, an attack on an oil pipeline that runs through NYC, and/or an attack on the fuel tank farm at JFK. Both would produce spectacular images and cause serious financial damage.

And that's the point of some of the latest attacks - to maintain a higher profile and show that they can attack. Such attacks might make it easier to recruit other jihadis to the cause.

Those Muslims suing for discrimination, Ali and the Thompson twins, don't stand a chance with Judge William Lynch. Bwahahaha!

Unless of course they win this motion:

A plaintiff's motion to exclude one of the player's — Mu'Ammar Ali — statistics from the 2003 and 2005 seasons. Attorneys argue the statistics are irrelevant because the alleged discrimination happened after the 2003 season and Ali was only allowed to play one game in 2005.

because that would make it more difficult to prove:

Mumme and the university have denied the allegations, saying the players' dismissals was because of their on-field performance and their attitudes.

We are not serious.

We (America and Israel) play silly dhimmi games with Stan.
We make poor people who are of good intent bust their asses and die and break their hearts as soldiers and police and firemen, security, paramedic etc etc - all those who put life and limb on the line

The public information liaison of the FBI should be fired. This should be a feather in Bush's cap, in the FBI's cap, in the Patriot Act's cap, in the GOP's cap. It should be on all the TV stations and all the radio stations. They were following these guys for a year. Why is it not? Because they chose a building with no video access for the press and terrible audio i h=which to announce it. In a whole year they didn't think this day would come and didn't choose a place where the media could hook up? CNN was interested. MSNBC was interested. They gave up. Fox is showing people loading luggage at the airport.
Natalie's disappearance in Aruba had better hookups for the media. Couldn't they wait for a few hours and get a decent location? It is New York City for C's sake. This day in history is going to go down the tubes. The comedians are going to have a field day. Poor GOP, the stupid party.

One thing that has always bothered me about most Americans is that our ultimate goal seems to only live in peace. We could do that right now by submitting to everything and everyone.

No, I don't want to make America peaceful. I want to assure that America remains the greatest country this planet has ever seen for my children. This is why I am personally concerned not with the radical terrorists but the "peace loving" Muslims in America, whether it be 2MM or 7MM, and to a lesser degree the influx from the south who refuse to even learn the common language - and in fact, expect to be catered to.

When a group of people, whether by a refusal to assimilate into the culture, or demanding change to fundamental structures of law, liberty, and personal responsibility is allowed to fester, you have got big problems if you don't deal with it promptly. And we are not dealing very well with a more immediate problem.

I am grateful we stopped the terrorists today. But it is a losing proposition when we are allowing are country to be overrun in the process.

This is why the election a few years back yielded a new government and change for the country as a whole. Guyana also has a vast network of natural resources. Stemming from Oil, Diamonds, Gold, Bananas and other fruit. Sugar cane is a grown also. the major problem is Guyana is there is no security there which is why the governments can be seen as corupt. (SP) The people themselves range from Catholics like my friend, Islam and Buddism and other oriental religions. So its a real mixture with little to know security.

Before I forget...

There is a video of Dore Gold at the life and death post at my blog - he says something very very important near the end of that video and I just pointed it out in the comments there...
I want to point this very important fact out here as well

BTW

In the last video of Dore Gold (who is an amazing great man and a Righteous Jew) speaking about his book the Fight for Jerusalem there is a very very important bit of knowledge that he touches on at the end of the speech.

He speaks about how the land for peace whores keep insisting that if we give them a piece of Jerusalem it will all end and he makes this very very important point that Westerners do not understand:

In their worldview, once they have possession of any part of Jerusalem that is the impetus or the base of the Jihad to establish the WORLD WIDE CALIPHATE

IF they get any part of Jerusalem, it does not STOP the Jihad

IT AMPS IT UP

Understand now why this has gotten so out of hand since Oslo?

He also makes the point that this is the reason the world wide jihad is so fixated on Israel and on "solving the Israeli Palestinian " conflict.

Watch that video it is filled with deep info.

The closer we get to "giving them a state"

THE WORSE IT WILL GET

VERY VERY IMPORTANT

it is all connected
but not in the way they have turnspeaked the world into believing

Darrell Issa: Tancredo Should Recant Gilchrist Endorsement Or Be Tossed from GOP
This story from Congress Daily this morning:

POLITICS - Issa Challenges Tancredo On Support For Third-Party Candidate

by Mark Wegner

© National Journal Group, Inc.

Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., said he would urge that Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., be thrown out of the Republican Party if he continues backing a third-party candidate in the special election for California's 48th District.

"I would ask the state of Colorado to strip him of his party membership," Issa said in an interview.

Tancredo has endorsed and appeared in a cable television ad for American Independent Party candidate Jim Gilchrist, who is running in the Oct. 4 open primary to replace former Rep. Christopher Cox, R-Calif., who is now SEC chairman.

Issa said Tancredo, a vocal immigration critic, could have chosen to endorse any one of 10 Republicans in the race.

Gilchrist, an anti-immigration activist, is the founder of the Minuteman Project, which monitors the U.S.-Mexico border for illegal immigrants.

"Gilchrist is a single-issue candidate with no chance of winning," Issa said.

You sure he's not ROP? He's got the whole "tolerance" and intimidation thing down

There is a thriving Guyanese-American neighborhood close by, in Ozone Park/Richmond Hill, & the residents' main vice seems to be working very hard & assimilating into American society...those I know personally are wonderful people who are thrilled to be here. Close the border, enforce the laws we now have, punish employers who hire illegals, and start sending as many home as possible. Let them petition to stay from their home countries.

I DO appreciate the great job and the professionalism of the FBI and others, but we are getting too "lucky" here, sooner or later the rats will succeed...

I agree.  Law of averages says we've been too lucky for too long.  We need to get serious about this sort of thing, just as Israel does.

One thing gives me hope, and that's that people here WILL work together if the need is there.  I think I count on the people of this country a lot more than I count on the professionals doing their jobs, though I'm not dissing them.  I just think when our back's to the wall, just like in WWII, the community comes through.  Maybe that's a bit naive, but it gives me emotional stability in times like this.

re the danger to JFK:

U.S. Attorney Roslynn R. Mauskopf called it “one of the most chilling plots imaginable.”

“The devastation that would be caused had this plot succeeded is just unthinkable,” she said at a news conference.

Re 'Jihad Darrell'?

Every six months, a snake crawls out of its old skin, but it is still a snake. Congressman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., – "Jihad Darrell" – should know this.

But while he tries to wriggle out of his recent pro-terrorist comments and actions abroad, he thinks he can fool us into believing he's a new creature.

Jihad Darrell made laudatory comments about Arab terrorist group, Hezbollah, while he was in Lebanon, his third trip in only a few months. It was reported by a number of Arab sources and newspapers, including the Tehran Times. He claimed that the activities of Hezbollah were "legitimate resistance," that the group does a lot of "humanitarian" things, that he has "tremendous sympathy" for its "work," and a number of other accolades usually not bestowed by U.S. congressmen on a group that killed over 261 American Marines and officials, is part of bin Laden's al-Qaida network, and helped bin Laden blow up the Khobar Towers (full of U.S. servicemen) by supplying the explosives.

I wrote a column about Jihad Darrell's outrageous remarks, and he apparently got a lot of hate-mail from his constituents. So, to writhe out of it, he claimed it was a lie – that The Tehran Times made it all up to destroy Issa's self-alleged efforts at "the peace process" (in which he met with Yasser Arafat, but not Sharon, because of "U.S. tensions with Israel." Huh?)

Apparently everyone's lying, but Issa. Or are they? Issa's comments were featured in a number of Arabic news sources, not just the Tehran Times. On Oct. 31, London-based Al-Hayat reported that Issa made a proposal to Hezbollah to get the U.S. to recognize it and remove it from the State Department terrorist list. Issa claims that's a lie, too. Pro-Hezbollah utterances by Issa, similar to those in The Tehran Times, were reported by Lebanon's Beirut Daily Star, Syria's National News Agency and even in his own past comments before the committee on which he sits, the House International Relations Committee. Does the Congressional Record lie?[...]

Way back in 1925 young Allan Odell pitched this great sales idea to his father, Clinton. Use small, wooden roadside signs to pitch their product, Burma-Shave, a brushless shaving cream. Dad wasn't wild about the idea but eventually gave Allan $200 to give it a try.

Didn't take long for sales to soar. Soon Allan and his brother Leonard were putting up signs all over the dang place. At first the signs were pure sales pitch but as the years passed they found their sense of humor extending to safety tips and pure fun. And some good old-fashioned down home wisdom.

At their height of popularity there were 7,000 Burma-Shave signs stretching across America. The familiar white on red signs, grouped by four, fives and sixes, were as much a part of a family trip as irritating your kid brother in the back seat of the car. You'd read first one, then another, anticpating the punch line on number five and the familiar Burma-Shave on the sixth.

The signs cheered us during the Depression and the dark days of World War II. But things began to change in the late Fifties. Cars got faster and superhighways got built to accomodate them. The fun little signs were being replaced by huge, unsightly billboards.

1963 was the last year for new Burma Shave signs. No more red and white nuggets of roadside wisdom to ease the journey.

A visitor to The Fifties Web contributed this story of a set of signs found in the Oregon wine country as late as 1986. She wrote me that "...two of the five signs were lying on the ground, and one was face down. I hoped the bull guarding them would be friendly as I reached through the fence to turn it over. (He was.)" The signs said, "Farewell O verse, Along the road. How sad to see, You're out of mode."

As befits such an important part of American culture, one set is preserved by the Smithsonian Institution. It reads:

Shaving brushes
You'll soon see 'em
On a shelf
In some museum
Burma-Shave

From your link, Islamic camp in US

The Islamic practice of taqiyya, meaning “deception” or “concealment,” has been refined into an art-form at a jihad training compound for African American converts near the small town of Red House in Charlotte County, Virginia.

The fifty-acre compound is easy to find since the main road leading to it has been named Sheikh Gilani Lane in honor of the guru and founder of a terrorist organization with close ties to Osama bin Laden. The Board of Supervisors of Charlotte Country are either oblivious to the threat of radical Islam on American soil or clandestine advocates of the great jihad.

At the end Sheikh Gilani Lane is a sign – barely visible through the overgrown brush – that reads, “The Muslims of the Americas.” The sign serves to make the place appear as an innocuous religious settlement, until one realizes that The Muslims of the Americas is, in reality, an outgrowth of Jamaat ul-Fuqra, an alleged sister agency to al-Qaeda.

Several weeks before 9/11, a guard house and a gate had been erected at the entrance to the Red House compound.

But the guard house and the gate are now gone, and no sentries – armed or otherwise – are in sight, that is until you get well inside the complex of old trailers and pre-fab shanties. The only person to be seen in the the compound is an African American crone in a full black burqa sans the face cover known as a hijab. The day is hot and humid and the burqa serves to give the wizened old woman the appearance of a wayside witch from a Grimm's fairy tale.

“The men are all gone,” the crone says from a park bench. “No one is here.”

Notes:
General/Shiekh/Mufti Raschid Gilani/Gailani/Gaylani/Geelani/Kailani/Kaylani/Jil ani
* was 3 times prime minister of Iraq (late 1930s and twice in Apr 1941)
* like Haj Amin al Husseini, he fled from Iraq to Berlin in 1941, after a failed anti-British coup
* went to Saudi Arabia after ww2, while Husseini went to Egypt

From the last paragraph above, one can infer two things:
1) The women and children are not counted as people.
2) THE MEN ARE ALL GONE.

Bottom line: Something's up.

In fact, by all accounts I've seen, this was accomplished using "9/10" methodology (surveillance, law enforcement and counter-terrorism agencies, informants, etc.). Who knows, maybe the FBI even got a FISA warrant for their wiretaps.

There is a $5 million reward for information on Shukrijumah, who officials consider extremely dangerous because of the years he spent living in the Miami area and his known ties to al Qaeda. Some of the 9/ll hijackers attended a south Florida mosque run by Shukrijumah’s now deceased father.

Dangerous, here's the link to a story you missed about a guy who had a record of, er, behaving badly at work.

[Link: www.washingtonpost.com...]

Then the man turned his flashing blade in Springer's direction, throwing him down on the ground and repeatedly slashing his face.

"I knew he was cutting me. I could feel it," Springer, 62, a legal administrator, recalled yesterday. Blood began gushing down his left cheek. Then he couldn't see.

By the time the assailant was subdued by two other visitors and an Alexandria police officer, four elderly residents also were seriously injured, including two who were stabbed or slashed as they lay helpless in their beds in the facility's health care center. In all, six people, not seven as originally believed, were injured in the attack, including one who suffered a broken neck and another who needed 200 stitches, police said. Two victims remained hospitalized last night.

Alexandria General District Court Judge E. Robert Giammittorio yesterday ordered a member of the housekeeping staff, Mustafa Mohamed, 30, of Alexandria, held without bond on two counts of malicious wounding.

Mohamed requested that a public defender represent him. Public defender Melinda Douglas declined to comment last night.

Commonwealth's Attorney S. Randolph Sengel said the attack might have stemmed from a disagreement between the suspect and another staff member at the facility, where Mohamed had worked since 2003.

Although there have been a number of high-profile incidents of workplace violence in recent years, the number of homicides and assaults has declined about 20 percent since the mid-1990s, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Health care and social services workers faced the highest risk of non-fatal assault.

During 2002, the latest year for which statistics were available, 18,104 non-fatal assaults, including shootings, stabbings and beatings, were reported at private-sector workplaces.

According to court documents, Mohamed also was accused of pummeling a co-worker in another dispute at a workplace, a CVS drugstore, in 2003. The case was dropped after the victim declined to testify.

Is this the world we want to leave our children? If not, we need to demand that our politicians get off their politically correct multi-culti high horses and put America first, security first, assimilation first, English first, Judeo-Christian principles first.

I really don't think it is even possible at this point, to effect change through traditional political channels,

the infiltration
capitulation
manipulation
intimidation
and
domination
of the
dual whore and beast commislamist influences and persons
in all bureaucracies
media
government
world bodies
academia
science

its all corrupted, it's over one hundred years deep

time is tight
we don't have the luxury of time now

We are in birth pains time,
big changes coming,
pains of labor,
just like He said.

Everyone is blind and deaf and acting like a bunch of deluded assholes just like in the time of Noah, just like He said.

Everyone thinks I am crazy, just like he said they would.

The "world system" as we know it is coming to an end.

however this is a birth
a beginning

OLAM HABA

the world to come

it's coming

All birth is bloody painful and ugly
right?

but then...
the payoff

Can you hear Him coming?
I can.

Such as? Think about how much would be required. Not likely at all.

I've worked with and around this stuff for 42 years. Jet A, diesel or motor fuel does NOT explode. I have been nice and close to a burning tank farm (Denver airport). There was and never was an explosion hazard.
Had the perps succeded, there would have been one heck of a fire, nothing more.
All the explosion talk is just the MSM making news, not reporting it.

You are right that diesel doesn't "explode" but diesel aerosol can cause a big effect (Look up FAE) Aided by explosives we could have had a very large explosion, following by very long burn fires.

It's also all about placement -- in the right area thousands of gallons of diesel can have collateral effects, or have you forgotten?

One of the best things Romney said a couple of years before deciding to run for head of the GOP was that he wanted to take the ACLU on as a conspiracy.

It must have been the public information liaison of the US attorney who arranged that horribe press conference.

If you can't figure it out, after all these years, why don't you go ASK the thousands and thousands of brave men and women of our Armed Forces the reasons why they are out there?

I'm sure they are quite capable of speaking sloooowly enough and using small enough words to help you capture that understanding that eludes you.

Of course if you believe that thousands of our bravest men and women of our Armed Forces are too stupid to know why they fight, then they would be wasting their breath and energy on trying to enlighten your dim brain.

So, what is it?

I guess this is another attack by the slogan people whos religion we shall not name. I really think its islamophobic of us to even notice this alleged incident and while I am sure muslims could never come up with a plot this complex I am also sure it never happened at all but if did/didnt then its obviously Dick Cheney using Haliburton to drive up gas prices just as we are about to prostrate ourselves at the G8 summit over our arrogant and angry white male CO2 emmissions we are using to destroy the third world. If we had solar or hemp powered airplanes this wouldnt even have been an issue.

"The arrests mark the latest in a series of alleged homegrown terrorism plots targeting high-profile American landmarks."

This line from the AP story is SO loaded, so simplistic, so Republican --

Makes it sound like a coordinated overall strategy -- when they are unconnected, and none got past the "planning" stage.

They list only three over the past year - and Fort Dix may be strategic but it is NOT a "high-profile American landmark".

VERY close to lying, here.

Another non-story about a bunch of terrorist wanna-bes who were tracked by the authorities right from the start.

The first question that always pops into my mind with these bogus revelations is "Why right now?"...

This administration has so little credibility that I always look first at the political slant...who does this help, and what scandal are they trying to cover up with this "be afraid" noise?

CCW is only one reason to live in Missouri.
One of our best kept secrets is the low,low property prices. That part of Mo I live in, you can't give houses away. just saying.... not inviting all to move here, though.

Too late, I bet some have seen your words are thinking about it now.

My mother was born in Missouri, and I was through there just last year on a road trip (following Route 66 back to Chicago so that I could go visit where she lives in Michigan now).  Good people, good food, too bad my life keeps me out here ...
