-RetweetCatmeat Sheikh Replaced with Bin Laden Backer

Tue, Jun 12, 2007 at 11:54:48 am PDT

While we were replacing our hard drive last weekend, Australia’s Islamic community was replacing the Australian Mufti, “catmeat sheikh” Taj Al-Din Al-Hilali.

With another raving Dark Ages fanatic, naturally. Bin Laden backer blasted.

THE refusal by Australia’s new Mufti to accept Osama bin Laden was responsible for the September 11 attacks has sparked a mass brawl online.

In his first day in the job, the cleric Sheik Fehmi Naji el-Imam stuck by his long-standing view questioning whether bin Laden was behind the 2001 attacks.

“What evidence?” he said when asked if he now accepted bin Laden’s role in the atrocity.

Two years ago, when asked the same question, he said: “How would I know? He’s unable to be found.”

More than one hundred outraged readers have written to this website to protest - while others are backing his call. Some have even suggested that, far from the al-Qaeda leader organising the 2001 attacks on the US, it was the American Government itself.

Gonna miss him. Even made a special commemorative graphic for FallbackLGF to honor/dishonor the occasion.

Obviously, that was a plant mis-translated by Karl Rove and the Bush administration to gain support for his illegal war for oil.

You are unfortunately so correct.

They plainly tell us what the plans are for our countries, our way of life and ourselves. Destruction or conversion.

We pretend that we don't hear or understand.

Oh here is a good story for you suckers in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN area who got suckered in by the cab drivers at the airport acting under guidance from groups like CAIR.

One Iraqi commander, a Kurdish general, got a tattoo on his arm to match the tattoo of LTC Jeff Holmes, who commanded one of the 278th battalions at that time. The tattoo said (I believe) “Freedom Isn’t Free.”

We went to a number of picnics with that same Iraqi general and his soldiers, and I can remember his offering cases of captured whiskey. Of course, the Americans couldn’t accept the whiskey, but the smuggling was a different story. In any country where a desired commodity is restricted or scarce, the smuggler becomes a commodity.

Cab drivers here may not give rides to people with alcohol but in the meantime the real Muslims don't seem to have such a problem.

It was the Islamic community that replaced the Catmeat Sheikh, not some centralized Islamic authority.

Islam doesn't need a Reformation. It's been in the structural condition of "reformation" since the death of Ali.

Islam doesn't need a Reformation.

Very true. What it needs is obliteration. It is irredeemable.

I guess the Australian Muslims have the same problem picking a moderate Mufti as the Kos Kids have picking an electable Democrat.

The problem with these people is that they refuse to look at evidence contrary to their beliefs. I'm surprised that they don't believe that the earth is the center of the universe.

muslims do seem to have a difficult time with the whole "truth" thing. Reality messes up their concept of the universe.

One aspect of postmodernism is multiculturalism. Another is skepticism. This isn't the kind that says "prove it" to any new assertion, but the view that says nothing is knowable.

This sheik or cleric or imam or whatever his title is is pandering to this.

In Saudi Arabia, the government appoints and dismisses the imams. Can't the rest of the world do the same?

Suppose that Hillary Clinton was appointed Head Imam for the East Coast. That would scare everyone $_itless.

Yesterday, Sheik Fehmi, 79, said his predecessor had been misunderstood.

He said Sheik Hilaly's comments comparing scantily-clad women to "uncovered meat" who invited rape was meant only for a Muslim audience.

Meet the new boss - same as the old boss

Apparently it is OK that the senior Muslim leadership in Australia say uncovered women should be raped. The new guy seems to agree with the old guy. Another classic non-denial denial.

There are real problems in Australia.

Sort of the Islamic version of smoke-filled room politics. No wonder the "progressives" are so enamored of this bunch; they act like the old Daley machine in Chicago.

OT William Perry Says US Should not Retaliate after 1st Nuke Attack (at least in the case of Russia and Pakistan)

[Link: www.nytimes.com...]

My opinion:
Russia: maybe no initial retaliation, depends on a lot of factors: details on how bomb got loose & what Russkies do in response.

Pakistan: much more likely to retaliate as would more likely to assume there is malice, effectively no control etc. Could possibly be persuaded no if sufficient and the right heads roll literally: Mussaraf start acting like a combination of Kemal Ataturk & Robespierre

OTOH maybe I am too soft: a case could be made for tit for tat retaliation or even worse to show that if you or yours attack US, you DIE so keep your nut cases under control or else.

Your opinions solicted.

Lacking in Perry's assessment is the fact that in practice a nuclear bomb can't be made by an individual. It requires a well-financed group or network to create (maintain and deploy) one. So far, none other than state-sponsored groups have been able to construct one, and that greatly limits the number of possible sources.

Its not at all a foregone conclusion that sooner or later a nuke will go off in the USA, and as far as I know the "suitcase nuke" is a myth.

Perry is right that a knee-jerk nuclear response would be counterproductive if the source of the initial attack weren't immediately known. Actually its hard to imagine a situation where such a response is indicated short of a nuclear first strike by a state, or one allowing a proxy group to do so.

#13 Godfrey: The 'reformation' of Islam and Islam's judgement by God began in earnest when the Qaim came, May 23 1844.

From that point on, He taught, He raised up a new race of men and He suffered terribly at the hands of the Muslim clergy, intent on disproving Him and on obstructing, with every fiber of their being, His Message that the Lord of Hosts was about to come in 1853!

Muslim clergy had the Qaim, (The Bab) executed by Muslim firing squad July 9, 1850 (because the Christian Armenian regiment miraculously 'missed' 750 times at point-blank range, thus ruining the Muslim's attempt to sidestep Muslim prophecy that when the Holy One comes, "Muslims" kill Him!)

Then came Baha'u'llah, the Glory of God, Who lived and taught in human form from 1853 to 1892. (Micah 7:15)

Islam needs no 'reformation', needing only to learn of the Coming of the Holy One, and those Muslims with a spark of life inside will turn, en masse, toward the Glory of God.

Here is a video of the Mahdi Army destroying Mosque in Al Basra.

And here is a very graphic video of an unsuccesful sucide bombers who managed to survive, for a while, after the bomb strapped to his body. For some reason his pleas for help go unheaded by the bystanders.

WARNING: Very, Very Graphic.

I think that unless we change what we're doing drastically, it is a matter of time before they detonate a nuclear bomb on American soil.

Anytime I hear someone say that the government pulled off 9/11 I tell them they have more faith in our government than I do. Sure is amazing that we had the secret prisons leak as well as other leaks and yet no proof has come to how the government caused 9/11.

I then ask them a question to see if they are a liberal. Which is larger, the Sun or Earth? When they say Earth then you have your answer.
