I got banned from Fark the other day for posting an entry in a photoshop contest that was supposed to be about Stalin.

They deleted my posting saying that it was an unaltered original image instead of a photoshop.

When I pointed out that it wasn't and reposted it, they deleted it saying that it was off-topic and that I'd better stop "berating the moderators".

Then I reposted it explaining how it wasn't off-topic at all, and that their treatment of me this way in a Stalin thread was ironic--that's what got me banned.

FARK forums, after little more than a cursory scan, strikes me as tedious, shallow, disingenuous, fallacious, and some other words I never learned. Not grounded in reality. The rest of the site just seems to be trying desperately to laugh at anything and everything.

The left has obviously latched onto Islam as some sort of religious cause celebre if thats the term, which is odd since they generally dislike dealing with religion. Maybe its just Western religions. More western self-hate at the expense of rationality. While those types are fawning over so-called Palestinians and Muslim outrage, they're likely to catch a IED upside the head.

Its a little like an abused spouse defending her abuser to the Police. Many times, if they don't wise up, they don't survive.

My headline was Spock saying something like, "Yes Captain, there appears to be no intelligent life here". They kept removing it and never telling me why. They would never respond to my emails. Finally just banned me.

After a short time I was deleting it from my "bookmarks."
I haven't missed it at all.
