The Scotsman has an article up on the Bin Laden tape news. Check out comment number 8, the ones above it are enlightening as well.

1: Sammy25
Doesn't anybody think it a bit strange that a man that US-led forces have been searching for since toppling Afghanistan's Taleban 6 years ago is in a position to be releasing videos?

Perhaps if they had not been sidetracked into invading Iraq they would have found him by now.

These US-led forces appear extremely incompetent.
2: Badwolf
'Islamist website' has anybody ever seen an Islamist website, we hear this all the time, "it came from an Islamist website" but I've never seen such websites makes one wonder if they really exist at all and Osama is just an Emanuel Goldstein figure.

... more like comments with stupid inaccuracies ...

Then

8: Ron Paul Voter
It is good that more and more of us are getting onto the same page in terms of being aware that the main stream media and the government are a bunch of liars. I urge all of you to put Ron Paul into a google or Youtube search and see what he has to say. It's very interesting to see how the media tries to discredit everything he says to tries to "spin" him right out of the race. I hope the American people are smart enough to see through all that.
Spread the word!

Australian Moonbat broadcasters dress as Bin Laden and try to crash APEC in Australia

"Lucky it was us and not Bin Laden..." quipped the leader.

Meanwhile, Federal Opposition Leader Kevin Rudd says The Chaser team pushed the boundaries too far.

Mr Rudd has told Southern Cross Radio he did not find the stunt amusing.

"If you're in Sydney at the moment, the security arrangements are at a very high level and I would very much hate for there to be any injuries, let alone fatalities occurring because people were trying to push the security margins for entertainment purposes," he said.

The eight cast and crew member and three hire car drivers arrested have been granted conditional bail and will appear in court next month.

An astute and regrettably true observation. I nevertheless signed and encourage others to do so... There are so many issues involved here that it's essential to at least try to put the pressure on Carolis (the director of France 2) and the nasty lot of nomenclatura that are suffocating this story.

Germany considers increased spying on Muslims

After thwarting what might have become a "massive" attack on American installations, German authorities will review ways to fight homegrown terrorists, including a proposal to allow Internet spying on all German converts to Islam...
Guenther Beckstein , the interior minister in the German state of Bavaria and a conservative leader of the southern wing of Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democratic Party , has called for a new law authorizing online surveillance of Islamic converts.
"Germans converting to Islam should be watched because they tend to show particular fanaticism in order to prove worthy of their new religion," he said Thursday.

You'll find that some people around here (I'm not going to name names, but you can guess) really can't stand the ideology of the majority of LGFers.

This person will talk nice to you to your face, but will stab you in the back in a heartbeat.
This person truly doesn't like anyone that's to the right of Howard Dean, yet he continues to troll around here making innocuous comments while trying to make friends with unsuspecting Lizards.
This person would sell you out as soon as you catch on to his little game.
This person is duplicitous in his writing, but will deny to your face that his intentions are anything other then altruistic.

Just beware of this person, for he is not a friend of anyone on this website (although he will deny it with a straight face).

Magnus Ranstorp, Chief Scientist for the Center for Asymmetric Threat Studies at the Swedish National Defense College , said that while security forces don't release information on all thwarted attacks, there are known to have been at least 40 and perhaps has many as 50 since Sept. 11, 2001 .
"This is what we can expect for the future: The attack plots are going to come fast and furious," he said. "And, as is clear in both these attacks, they're operating in new vistas. Terrorism in Europe is a part of life now."

And here I thought terrorism was just part of a bumper sticker slogan.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I know where the name came from, but I made a promise to some other lizards in the lounge not to reveal it. That, and I'll respect the fact that Charles doesn't want to say either.

What a pant-load that is.

Okay... He did say something a few (many?) threads back that indicated Moral Relativism in full blossom, but I got no response. It may have been due to the fact he ran out of gas or moved on to 'greener' pastures. I figure if someone (naming no names of course) is going to put words out here that they really believe, they ought to defend them.

I really don't care why Charles named this site LGF. I like it. I enjoy reading what others have to say on our current state of affairs. Most know a hell of a lot more than I do about some of these subjects. I'll keep your advice in mind, and thanks.

He is someone who you will begin to know as someone who has posted on the most heinous of the blogs..lgf watch.

Not really someone worth conversing with imo. Not telling people who they should converse with..this isn't my blog nor would I be that controlling as I think people's senses are usually good judgements of who is genuine and who is not by reading their posts...but I do think people should know that certain posters here such as chen post on an anti lgf website and start stuff here and take it back to their blog to dissect unfairly and really should be looked at in a different light.

No.
No other religion has "legal protection" from being made fun of. Muslims are really upset that they're not as special as they think they are, huh?

I'm honored that you should think so. Thank you, kindly for your words.

I take my licks when I need to when people prove me wrong. I will admit it, when I am. I stick to my guns in certain things that I will not budge such as my faith in God among other subjects..but only because I feel I've done enough research in it.

And in regards to this blog which most of my defense posts are built on, I have read enough of Charles and known enough of the plight in the past to expose islam that I feel this is a website worth fighting for as well as the blog owner that puts his life on the line to expose this stuff.

I was denied going into the navy or marines back in the day. Since then, I have often wondered my purpose. I'm a patriot and love my country. Other than my family, I seriously think I feel my purpose is to expose islamists and their creepage as well as their APOLOGISTS. Charles is a class act from what I've witnessed and I have done a ton of reading from the archives of lgf to see that.

To those who wish to destroy this blog and the regular GOOD contributors' name by your insults, I will expose you if I see it needs to be. I know I'm not alone..many feel this way. LGF is worth fighting for. The message here may not be significant yet to SOME, it will in the future I believe. I typically try to do my best to save my cross words for those that are hell bent on trying to defame LGF yet come here with a different face and fool people. They do not fool me and many others.

LGFOhio BBQ 2007

Friday, Saturday and Sunday September 7 - 8 - 9

A day/weekend of beer, deer, Buckeye football, swimming, boating, shooting and general BSing. Everyone is invited, weather don't matter, we have barn. Bring your own food and drinking water. Camping outside or in the barn if weather turns. Grills(Kosher) and fire ring (non-kosher) for cooking out.

LOL. Yep, eastbound and down is right. How did you know I was in Chicago? Ben is southeast of me.

Speaking of Chicago, I saw on the front page of the Tribune that someone at Minot loaded up a B52 with nuclear weapons by mistake? Apparently they were activated. I cant find it on the website of the Tribune but it's in the print edition.

Like I tell my customers...the mailman knows everything. That B52 story has the KosKids knickers in a bunch. There was even a version of the Maccabee story from a couple of days before, where a friend of a cousin of a mechanic's lover's night watchman has it on good authority that it was accidentally on purpose. They stage those '52s from Barksdale, you know? Of course, the fact that our subs and Carrier Groups have nuke tipped missles as well, never occurs to these Little Einsteins.

A co-worker, former military officer had an interesting take. Barksdale where the bombs ended is major staging area for aircraft going to the Mideast theater. That this "opps" is way of making public the fact nucs are being moved, movement of nukes is a very highly classified operation least someone think of doing something. re: #125 Clio

Frontpagemag, The New Dreyfus Affair, with an inspiring ending:

Though he is the one on trial, Philippe Karsenty is not Dreyfus. It is the State of Israel and the Jewish people who are Dreyfus today. Nor is Karsenty Zola. Why? Zola enjoyed wide acclaim as an important writer and was, thus, capable of stirring public opinion in support of Dreyfus. It was the storm of public outrage that finally won Dreyfus’ freedom. But, that outrage was the product of a journalist who was willing to publicly question the lies on which Dreyfus’ conviction was based. Karsenty is merely an ordinary citizen who, standing almost without allies, has elected to pit himself against yet another terrible lie. But, alas, there is not even one Emile Zola today. Nevertheless, the hope still remains that, even at this late hour, a new Zola will come forward to speak out, to demand justice, and to stake his honor and reputation on the truth.

Even if those tapes were to be released, would they really change anyone's mind? There is a weird, "Don't confuse me with the facts, my mind is already made up" kind of zeitgeist in the world today. This should have been trumpeted by Israel years ago, but she - ever the scapegoat, is guilty until proven guiltier of something else she isn't really guilty of, either.

Those tapes should have been released a long time ago, but there are people whose anti-Israel and antisemitic agenda overrides any and all journalistic considerations.

Hi LGFer, Kiken. The western world is waking up to your lies. The holocaust is the original victim swindle. 6000 died, not six million, Jews "Young Turks" were responsible for the Armenian Genocide, jews found the open arms of Turkish genocidists when they escaped (with their carpetbags full of gold) WWII Europe, I wonder why? Jews hate Christians, hate Christ, hate Europeans. Jew Trotsky, Lenin, and Bela Cohen killed millions of Slavic Christians. Usurist capitalist kikes can FOAD. Charles Johnson is a log cabiner along with the rest of LGFer morons.

146 re  Fri, Sep 7, 2007 9:26:13am

i think 2232 is fairly representative of those who oppose the release of all the tapes.

if they have nothing to hide, then they will release them.

i feel they do have many things to hide, and also - being antisemites - they fear the release will help israel.

they'd rather be discredited by withholding the info then by releasing it.

147 MadJadBad  Fri, Sep 7, 2007 10:00:32am
