Canadian Linked to Austrian E-Jihadis

Thu, Sep 13, 2007 at 7:35:18 pm PDT

Another Canadian connection to a European jihad nexus: Quebec man arrested in terrorist bomb plot.

TORONTO — A man arrested northeast of Montreal for allegedly planning a terrorist bombing outside Canada could face additional charges depending on the results of a search at his home, the RCMP said Thursday.

Said Namouh, 35, was to appear in court this morning to face charges of conspiring to detonate an explosive device. The arrest of the landed immigrant coincided with three related arrests in Vienna, Austria.

The Quebecer is suspected of having links to the Global Islamic Media Front, an al-Qaeda propaganda network. Terrorism researcher Rita Katz, who has been tracking the group, said other Canadians are involved. “The Global Islamic Media Front is individuals that are spread around the world, and there are several of them in Canada,” she said.

Police seized documents from Namouh’s home in Maskinonge, in the Mauricie region on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, but the RCMP would not say whether the search had turned up any explosives, detonators or bomb components.

Well, Canada reminds me of a mix between the USA (Western provinces) and Europe (the East, 'specially Quebec), with the good and bad qualities that come from both.

Canadians are still in Afghanistan fighting al Qaeda, IIRC.

Canada--like the US--has thousands of questionable Muslims hiding in our country. Also like the US, we tend to do almost nothing about it.

The US has just as many Saudi-financed Wahabbi mosques as does Canada, and just as many CAIR-funded radical clerics floating around. Both countries need to get their shit together, but especially the US since it was the US that was attacked in an act of war six years ago. CAIR should not exist right now.

To go on a bizarre tangent, now it clicks, there are more women in the Arctic.
I saw this on junkscience yesterday:

Here's an ambitious claim: "Pollution blamed for fall in Arctic baby boys" - "Twice as many girls as boys are being born across much of the Arctic because of pollution from industrialised countries, scientists have found. The study also found that in parts of Russia many newborn boys were sickly or underweight.

The Scandinavian scientists behind the study suspect the same to be the case in Greenland and Canada." (London Times)

They are looking at a very small population base, so it takes few births to skew ratios to start with. While it is possible this is an unusually sound and thorough study -- and I don't have all the data to examine -- some immediate red flags appear.

To begin with, male fetuses are notoriously more fragile than female -- it's an evolutionary thing with relatively low male density able to maintain a breeding population and greater population survival potential if breeding females under nutrition stress have a tendency to selectively reabsorb or spontaneously abort male fetuses. Animals like kangaroos carry this fetal sex selection thing to the extreme that younger does, who are more likely to survive long enough to provide complete nurture to offspring, have female young while older does at the end of reproductive life produce males.

What has this to do with Arctic populations? Quite a bit really. Poverty, malnutrition and alcoholism are endemic, leading to severe nutritional stress in gravid females and a small population base means few male fetuses need fail to skew the ratio from approximately 1:1 to 1:2 males to females.

Was this controlled for and really complete nutritional and health backgrounds worked up for each subject? Maybe, but somehow I doubt it. If not then biologically plausible (and well documented) effects are being ignored in the long reach for the Greenie Holy Grail of synthesized chemical vilification and that seems a reach too far.

CTV seems to be carrying a fair and balanced account...no excuses that I could see.

The RCMP said Thursday it has arrested a 35-year-old Quebec man in connection with an online threat to bomb targets outside Canada.

The Mounties said Said Namouh was arrested on conspiracy charges Wednesday morning in Maskinonge, Que., northeast of Montreal.

RCMP confirmed what Austrian officials said earlier today -- that the Quebec man was the fourth suspect in connection with an online threat against Austria and Germany.

"He was plotting to explode (a device) outside of Canada,'' RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Elaine Lavergne told the Canadian Press.

"We want to reassure people that the investigation being carried out has never found a direct threat to Canada."

Austrian officials said earlier that three suspects -- two men and a woman, all Austrian citizens in their 20s of Arab origin -- were arrested in connection with a video that surfaced in March.

The three allegedly threatened in the video to attack the two countries unless they withdrew their personnel from Afghanistan.

"The allegations are that these individuals were al Qaeda sympathizers," Canada's Public Safety Minister told CTV News on Thursday.

"And that the things that they were planning, both with explosives and other means, the allegation is that this could have led to a tragic incident. We congratulate our intelligence and security forces for being able to move quickly along with other agencies to stop this from happening."

Namouh is expected to appear in a Montreal courtroom on Friday morning.

Austria's Interior Ministry spokesperson Rudolf Gollia told the Associated Press that Austrian and Canadian authorities have worked closely together for several weeks, and that it appeared the man arrested in Canada was planning to leave the country.

Canadian officials released few details about Namouh Thursday. And Day would not go into further detail or speculate on how important the Canadian connection may have been to the overall plot.

Senator Colin Kenny, chairman of the Senate standing committee on national security and defence, said the arrest is a sign Canada's anti-terrorism initiatives are working.

"The arrests tell you that they're clearly taking action,'' he told CP. "If the arrest hadn't taken place and this guy left the country, there would be a problem somewhere."

Austrian Interior Minister Guenther Platter told reporters Wednesday there was no discernible plot in the works to carry out an attack in Austria. But he said the prime suspect looked into acquiring explosives.

Platter said in televised remarks late Thursday the prime Austrian suspect had "very close" Internet contact with the man arrested in Canada.

Austrian authorities said they had the three suspects under surveillance for months and arrested them after it appeared they were preparing to leave the country.

Gollia said the prime suspect wanted to leave the country in the coming days to go on a honeymoon trip with his new wife, the female suspect in the trio.

Also Thursday, the SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors al Qaeda messages, said one of the three suspects arrested in Vienna was a leader of the Global Islamic Media Front -- an al-Qaeda propaganda group increasingly tied to terrorism operations.

Gollia said authorities have identified the 22-year-old prime suspect as operator of the Global Islamic Media Front's website for German-speaking countries.

Authorities said the prime suspect travelled to Iraq in 2003 and was also the head of an Islamic youth group in Austria.

The biggest problem we have in Canada is a completely feminized population--just like the UK. We are starting to see US-style crime in our cities, and the natural solution--concealed-carry permits--are not even imaginable here.

In places like Canada and the UK the message is: if you're unlucky enough to get stalked and raped, either "co-operate" or else maybe try to scream for help (which won't come).

I am far less worried about Muslims than I am about the fact that the entire population has completely abdicated any responsibility whatsoever for its self-defense.

That's why I want to move back to the US. And not frickin' Massachusetts this time.

I drop my kids off to school and wonder what is being done to protect my kids and the children of my neighbors. There are quite a few hijab wearing Muslims at my kids school. Even a Muslim child would have no problem going splodydope in a class full of children. That's based on what I've learned here and from the links Charles and lizards have posted here.

DEARBORN - Houssein Zorkot, a 26-year-old Dearborn resident, was arraigned Tuesday in 19th District Court on multiple felony charges, including carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent — a five-year felony.
Zorkot, a third-year medical student at Wayne State University, was allegedly armed with an AK-47 assault rifle and dressed in black clothing with camouflage paint covering his face when he was arrested Saturday in Hemlock Park.

According to police, Zorkot was observed attempting to leave the park in a black SUV after officers had received reports of a man carrying a rifle in the area. He was placed under arrest and is scheduled to undergo a preliminary examination at 9 a.m. Sept. 21 in 19th District Court.

Zorkot has also been charged with one count of possession of a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle and one count of felony firearm. He remains in custody on a $1 million bond (cash, no 10 percent).

re: #63 Pro-Bush Canuck

Why blame it on "feminization"? Self defense is not a male perogative.

86 Pro-Bush Canuck  Thu, Sep 13, 2007 8:33:25pm

That is, the places in the US which are literally swamped with crime are all disproportionately populated by blacks and latinos. It's just the unfortunate truth.

I lived in Lousivlle for 2 years. During one of those years there were 51 murders (if I recall correctly). 50 of those were in the "ghetto" -- a small 6 block area.

The rest of Louisville was basically safer than anywhere in Canada, even though overall the city had a far higher homicide rate than any Canadian city. Such are the bizarre effects of race-based violence in the US.

Philly has finally figured out how to squelch their black on black murder rate (294 to date) and crime problem since they don't allow personal protection with fire arms, cretins that they are.

10,000 Philly Men Requested to Patrol Streets

Yes, while the police chief and Mayor "WE in charge now" Street cower under their desks, a newly hired advisor, former nation of Islam member is asking that 10,000 BLACK men volunteer 3 hours a day for 90 days to patrol their neighborhoods.

This is great: generals comparing their bomb sizes. Just saw it linked at Hot Air. Father of All Bombs got you down Uncle Sam? Well don't forget the fifteen ton robust earth penetrator big fella!

WASHINGTON, September 13 (RIA Novosti) - The U.S. has a 14-ton super bomb more destructive than the vacuum bomb just tested by Russia, a U.S. general said Wednesday.

The statement was made by retired Lt. General McInerney, chairman of the Iran Policy Committee, and former Assistant Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force.

McInerney said the U.S. has "a new massive ordnance penetrator that's 30,000 pounds, that really penetrates ... Ahmadinejad has nothing in Iran that we can't penetrate."

He also said the new Russian bomb was not a "penetrator."

Mandy,

You won't get far with me with the politically correct PC stuff about men and women being interchangable. That is leftist crap. That is not to say that women are less capable than men in general, or vice versa. However men and women are different for profoundly important reasons.

One of the first things the communist/socialists do is try to erase gender roles. Every time. This is a prelude to the destruction of social order in general which permits the State to usurp traditional roles.

You may not see the damage in the US right now, but rest assured the destruction of traditional masculine and feminine roles has been all but lethal in the decaying, rotting dregs of European civilization.

Further to my point about the feminization of European males--they allowed 15,000 of their elderly to die a horribly painful death 3 years ago in a heat wave.

Such a thing could not happen in the US or Canada, where there are still enough real men (AND women) to prevent it.

It has NOTHING to do with feminity. It's called simple human decency.

That wasn't the point. The point is that men and women are different, and there are traits (positive, life-affirming traits) associated with both sexes. Previous generations understood all this implicitly. It is only 30 years of leftist PC indoctrination which has instilled the belief that men and women are

interchangeable

. That is a monstrous lie, and it is the primary reason so many nations are rapidly depopulating.

None of this is to cast aspersions on women in any way, shape or form. Nor is it to suggest--as Mandy seems to think--that women are incapable of courage (or men incapable of nuturing a child, for that matter).

When we attempt to impose socially-engineered redefintions of what men and women are--and what the good and natural relationship between the sexes should be--then we are monkeying with a formula devised for us by God.

So many folks are saying that the number of Jihadi's arrested in Canada is a sign that something is wrong here in Canada. I think it's a sign that something is right here.

The question is not why Canadian authorities are arresting so many, it's why US authorities are arresting so few.

Both countries have a large number of Muslims, and within that population, a number of Jihadis. The Canadians have been doing a far better job of making arrests, of stopping their plots, than the Americans.

You joke that these arrests mean you have a problem to the north...on the contrary, you have a solution in action in the North. It's your own backyard that the problem probably persists.

Don't worry about us. This arrest is further proof we've got your northern back.

Its not like it would be difficult to pull off, especially if it is run as a suicide mission like the Beslan School and the Russian Theater attacks.

Glenn Beck has been talking about it all week. The 'dots' are all there, like before 9/11, and like 9/11, there's no exact information that will lead to knowing exactly when/where something will happen. What we know of Beslan isn't the half of it, and from what we've found on hard drives and training tapes, they have Beslan X manyfold planned for here, all simultaneously.

Dunno if I'd go that far. Canadian authorities can be hamstrung by politically-correct politicians, just like in the US.

The main difference is that Canada has FAR fewer traitors than does the US. Moonbats in Canada rarely go to the extremes that US leftists do. The American Left openly wishes for their own country to go down to defeat in Iraq.

A Canadian moonbat openly calling for Canadian troops to be defeated in Afghanistan would probably get a swift kick in the arse. Or worse.

Yes, well right is right. Men are not women, and vice versa. If we lose that distinction we lose the human race.

The problem is extremes. The Muslims have an extremely warped ultra-radical definition that makes women a different species. The left has an equally warped definition that says men and women (and trannies) are all "persons" which are completely identical in every way.

Hillary shows false courage. She is a paternalistic authoritarian.

The problems are far greater when men adopt stereotypically feminine personas, as is drastically the case in much of Europe. Many European males would not save their own families from a fire. They'd cry and scream for help.

Is that not the agenda of Socialism? To castrate the strength of society and have us depend on the "Nanny State" and be thankful for the gruel and slop they serve up?

That's the whole reason for the slow emasculation of a previously free society. With an already oppressed society like Russia's, another oppressive form of government can step in and rule. When you're dealing with a free society, like that of America, Canada, or Europe, you have to 'boil the frog' and break society down slowly. Then you get the chaos, and people who are utterly unable to deal with as much as their lattes being made improperly, so you need a strong entity to step in and save you. Remember... A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have. -Thomas Jefferson

The feminization of society to the point of not taking responsibility for self-defense, etc.: that was the term you used. Rush uses it all the time, too, and I cringe every time I hear it. It is the wrong word. It does not adequately or correctly describe or define the syndrome about which you speak.

If everyone in society evinces only the traditional, stereotypical masculine traits (e.g., the Spartans), then that socirty will not survive. It could be said that Spartan civilization died out because of the masculinization of their social order. This does not mean masculinity is "wrong" or "tainted" or "lesser" or anything else. It just means that the natural, God-given harmony and balance among the sex-related forces in society has been upset to the point where civil society cannot endure.

This has nothing to do with the qualities--masculine or feminine--shown by any individual man or women. Men who completely lack a "feminine side" can be brutish and unreliable.

Blending of gender roles is not only dangerous and but down right stupid. Men are infinitely better at being men; women infinitely better at being women. And there is a difference. Anyone that denies otherwise is a loon.

But I have seen many a courageous woman. Need I remind the Christians that while Jesus disciples hit the road, it was two women who showed the greatest bravery.

Thank you. This is all I mean to say.
Of course I want my men to be men. And the toughest woman I know (who happens to be former AF) is very feminine. Even when she's winning boxing tournaments. :-P
I just really hate the 'feminine=wussified commie bending over spreading their buttcheeks' equation.
I'm not a wussified commie and I would never bend over for our enemies!
Even if I am way into cooking, make-up and hair-care products...

Nicely put. I'm still going to bed, though! ;-)

I subscribe to the notion that girls learn their feminity from their fathers and boys learn their masculinity from their mothers. Keeps it all in balance.

I'm with the Canuck, men and women are different. "Better" is a value judgement and doesn't apply to genders. Both deserve freedom, respect, and opportunity earned through personal responsibility.

Islamic women are large purple elephant in the middle of the male Muslim room - these women are the most populous group of slaves left on earth.

Hirsi Ali has it right: If this group of people would/could turn on their men, the islam problem would stop. dead. cold.

Why do think we sent them to you, Ed?

Mwuhahahaha!

But seriously, this Said Namouh turkey is no more a Canadian than I am Queen of the May. He is a "landed immigrant" which means basically that he is a resident alien, supposedly on track to gaining citizenship. As far as I'm concerned, though, even if he held citizenship papers, he would not BE a Canadian simply because it is self-evident that he has not made one iota of commitment to adopt Canadian values.

For Namouh and his ilk, Canada is nothing more than a flag of convenience; a place to hang his hat whilst continuing to plot the advance of the World Caliphate.

Canada and the USA share a big problem: the refusal, on official levels, to recognize the fact of these bogus "citizens."

Not fighting at all. Just trying to point out to my fellow Canuck -- the one with the thin skin -- that his perceptions of the current atmosphere in one of our provinces is based upon dated and incorrect stereotype.

If he's unable to open his eyes and ears and not willing to accept that he's just possibly wrong and in need of updating his perceptions, then he's certainly free to reveal that to us all, by way of his own succinct choices from his vocabulary.

Just sayin'.

Further to my point about the feminization of European males--they allowed 15,000 of their elderly to die a horribly painful death 3 years ago in a heat wave.

Such a thing could not happen in the US or Canada, where there are still enough real men (AND women) to prevent it.

PBC, I'd suggest to you that it's not feminization of the menfolk that's in play here. I'd prefer to call it infantilism of the entire population, i.e. the people as whole are regressing to a child-like state of expect to have everything done for them by the nanny state. Which, of course, is exactly what the proponents of the nanny state wish to see happen.

B. Living in a country ruled by terrorists and a government similar to the Taliban, and just as brutal and intolerant.

Under which scenario will you be more likely to become a jihadi?

Under which scenario will America be more safe.

/Which scenario is the Democrat party pushing for?

My wish for the people of Iraq is the same for the people of Mexico. both countries have the potential to be as great as the US. They need to see the bs through all of the clatter from the politicians. That's why we as Americans have a responsibility to elect leaders who follow our Constitution. This country was fought for by the blood of our forefathers many of whom were younger than 18 years of age. We have the duty to our founders to rectify the lack of leadership we have experienced for the last 40 years. If we accomplish this task, it will send a message out to countries like Iraq and Mexico to take control of their destinies.

Most of our kids are kept in the dark. My 7th grader will be learning about the Nation of Islam this year in Social Studies. One of the parents at Back to School night asked "Is not Islam a religion?" The teacher replied that Islam is a nation. I then asked if she meant the Moors and the Ottoman Empire. Oh, believe me. my kids get a proper education from both my wife and I when we hear about the "truth" that's being taught. the problem is that the state is on a campaign to make us respect other cultures which is fine but don't deride the culture that brought us to the 21st century. My High schooler comes home with stories about how evil our founding fathers were because they had slaves. It's the LLL trying f up a whole generation of kids just like they did in the 60's. In fact, that's who's teaching our kids is the hippie bastards with their happy bullshit. Unfortunately for them, there are a great number people out here who think the same way we do and call Bull Shit! I am afraid the Schools' principals won't like my wife and I very much.

My goodness, what a mess!

...I want the recipe for that cake.

I didn't do apples dipped in honey, unfortunately. At best I am a pseudo-Jew and didn't realize what a tradition it is, and ended up making an apple "torte" (really baked battered apples) instead, plus an experiment with a honey cake recipe from aish.com, and a batch of brownies to be on the safe side. My lady roommate's ulcerative colitis necessitates almond flour for the baked stuff, so the torte came out more like caramelized apple mush, and the honey cake collapsed on itself. They're still edible - the torte was delicious almondy apple goo when it was fresh out of the oven - but so far I'm batting 1 for 4 on Jewish baking.

Best wishes for the New Year to all the genuine Jewish lizards... May your introspection bear fruit, and may the year be sweet for all.

Time to Fight the Religious Right

Posted September 28, 2005 | 09:48 PM (EST)
Read More: Breaking Politics News

Today marks the launch of the Campaign to Defend the Constitution (www.DefConAmerica.org), and what a time for such a campaign. I have no doubt that when historians look back at the late 20th and early 21st century, they will say that the most important development was the rise of fundamentalism. Fundamentalists, whether Christian, Islamic, or Jewish, share remarkably similar views on many issues -- and remarkably similar intolerance. I believe that the greatest threat to liberty in the United States is posed by the religious right, largely comprised of Christian fundamentalists. Across a broad spectrum of issues they want to move the law in a radically more conservative direction, ultimately threatening our freedom.

This spring, I argued a case in the Supreme Court challenging a six-foot tall, three feet wide Ten Commandments monument that sits between the Texas State Capitol and the Texas Supreme Court. Fundamentalist groups filed briefs in the Court arguing that any religious symbol, anywhere on government property should be allowed and that the government only violates the Establishment Clause if it coerces religious participation.

What is frightening is that four Justices agreed with them. With John Roberts confirmation there may now be a fifth vote for that position. Under that view, the government can give any aid to parochial schools even for religious indoctrination, so long as it did not discriminate among religions. The government could place any religious symbol, no matter how sectarian, at its seat of government. Instead of defending the central principle of church and state separation, this view would seek to destroy it.

It is not just in the court where this threat exists. Monday marked the start of a trial determining the legality of the teaching of intelligent design -- creationism dressed up as psuedoscience -- in a Pennsylvania school district. That threat extends far beyond just one county in Pennsylvania, as moves are afoot in state legislatures and county school boards across the country to call established scientific fact into question and to supplant science curricula with ideology. No matter what the label, this is asking science courses to teach a religious theory for the origin of human life, exactly what the Supreme Court declared unconstitutional 20 years ago.

The threat even extends into personal freedom. I believe the Supreme Court got it exactly right in Roe v. Wade: a fundamental right of each woman is to choose whether to terminate her pregnancy. Taking this right away is a central aspect of the religious right's campaign. Likewise, it is the religious right that is leading the fight to keep gays and lesbians from having the fundamental right to express their love and commitment through marriage.

The religious right is the enemy of freedom. That's why the launch of DefCon: The Campaign to Defend the Constitution is so important. It seeks to counter the religious right, to alert the public to the dangers and risks posed by the growing fundamentalist influence in our nation; to build and mobilize an online community of concerned Americans willing to raise their voices; to mobilize concerned scientists, political leaders, and theologians to help Americans understand what is at stake.

My hope is that DefCon will become a premiere voice of Americans who are disturbed by the growing power of the religious right, and who are looking for a practical and meaningful way to fight back. I cannot think of a more important task for those concerned about freedom in the months and years ahead.

395 zombie  Fri, Sep 14, 2007 12:38:09am

My alter-ego "jimjams" (baby-talk for "pajamas") is on a roll over at the SF Chronicle Web site.

The Chronicle just published this article about Yusuf Bey of Your Black Muslim Bakery, and his lifelong career of raping children:

Bey routinely raped them, defecated on them, forced them to drink his urine and semen and threatened them with harm if they ever told anyone, according to the suit the women filed in Alameda County Superior Court in July 2003 that sought millions in damages.

On the comments section for the article, someone brings up the notion that the sexual abuse of children is common in parts of Islam in the form of Female Genital Mutilation. The commenter gets a few details wrong (saying it's happening in Iran, as opposed to where it's really happening [mostly Muslim Africa]), but his basic idea was correct.

Well, in response to that comment, a moonbat comes along and basically defends Islam, saying it's all slander, tossing off passages like

We can all find extremists in every culture including your anglo-centric Utopia...Did you accuse all of white America of being narcisistic, sex-with-cadavers, cannibals when Jeffrey Dahmer was convicted of those acts? If we apply your logic elsewhere then we could say that the Catholic church condones the practice of priests having sex with young altar boys.

So I decided to let him have it.

Keep in mind that this is a mainstream media comments section where the moonbats are free to roam and aren't really used to being criticized. So, bearing that in mind, here are the comments I wrote in response to the moonbat, who goes by the name "commonsensical":

commonsensical, it is vile people like you that are the cause for most of the evil in this world. You KNOW that your arguments are illogical, you KNOW that you are defending the most repulsive practices on earth, yet because of the hatred in your soul you cannot stop yourself. Without defenders like you, the psychopaths, child mutilators and oppressors of this world would be exposed, crushed and defeated. But thanks to you and others like you, misery and horrors continue.

To wit: Jeffrey Dahmer was one person. So you can't tar all of white America with his acts. And 99.99% of white Americans condemn what he did. 1% of Catholic priests were molesters, and they too were roundly condemned by everyone. Yet clitoridectomy is practiced almost EXCLUSIVELY by Muslims, and in African Muslim areas it is nearly UNIVERSAL, and supported by the entire community. You despicable multiculturalists support this hate crime that ruins millions of women's lives. You disgust me.

and

Yes, "fidelity" did get some of the facts wrong -- I'm not saying he was accurate. Female Genital Mutilation is fairly uncommon in Iran; but it is a ubiquitous pratice in Egypt, Somalia, Sudan, and anywhere else in Africa where Arab slavers came and enslaved and forcibly converted the native population. And it is only in some countries where 7-9 year-olds are horrifically mutilated -- in other countries it is done to babies, while in others it is done at the time of puberty. And it's not an "uncle" that usually does it -- more often it is the girl's OWN MOTHER or an aunt or grandmother -- or the local professional genital mutilator.

commonsensical, you set up a false comparison between a unique or rare criminal act (Dahmer, priests) that was loathed and hated by the society at large (America), and a nightmarish universal cultural practice (clitoridectomy) that is performed, accepted and defended by the ENTIRE culture (Muslim Africa). It's like an entire society of Dahmers.

So far, no reply.

re: #396 Sharmuta

Yes, he was a sick f*ck. Here's the follow-up comment I made about Bey himself:

If a Christian preacher or a conservative did 1% of what "Yusuf Bey" did, the left would be howling in delight as they trashed his name, reputation and career. Yet I hear a desolate silence from the "progressive"s [spit] when the transgressor is black and has adopted an exotic-sounding Muslim name. Ooooh, he's part of the oppressed class! We couldn't possibly criticize him!

Joseph Stevens ("Yusuf Bey"'s real name -- I refuse to grant legitimacy to his fraudulent invented identity) was a psychopath of the highest order. A serial rapist, a life-long child molestor, a sadist, a racist, a megalomaniac -- and probably a murderer. The charges against him in this one case (forcing people to eat feces, repeated child-rape, torture, etc.) are just the tip of the iceberg. Every minute of his life was a crime against humanity. He had dozens of "child-brides" over the decades.

Wait! What's that I hear coming from the Left?

...silence...

re: #399 Sharmuta

Well, keep in mind this is a separate case from the Chauncey Bailey murder case. This case is about the misdeeds of Yusuf Bey Sr., who died three years ago. (So there can't be a death penalty for him!) Some of his victims are suing the county for placing them in his legal custody, even though he only wanted them so he could rape them.

The death penalty may be appropriate for his son Yusuf Bey IV, who proably ordered Bailey's murder. Now all the police have to do is get the evidence.

Observation: by flagging each other's comments negatively we may be unintentionally helping those who hate LGF.

If you wanted to cherry pick quotes for use on an anti-LGF site wouldn't you just scroll down quickly until your eye caught something with a comment rated in red at -5 or -6?

O.T., [Link: www.biased-bbc.blogspot.com...]

Important: The BBC apology that is anything but an apology, or:
Getting to the bottom of the Children's BBC Newsround 9/11 Scandal is proving a tough battle. First we have lots of complaints on September 11th 2007 about the BBC's Why did they do it? page, the one that says:

The way America has got involved in conflicts in regions like the Middle East has made some people very angry, including a group called al-Qaeda - who are widely thought to have been behind the attacks.
In the past, al-Qaeda leaders have declared a holy war - called a jihad - against the US. As part of this jihad, al-Qaeda members believe attacking US targets is something they should do
.

When the attacks happened in 2001, there were a number of US troops in a country called Saudi Arabia, and the leader of al-Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden, said he wanted them to leave.

...which as anyone can see, clearly suggests that the 9/11 atrocities were the result of American foreign policy, rather than, for instance, murderous islamist hatred that stretches back at least several decades to the days of Sayyid Qutb, the foundation of the Muslim Brotherhood and beyond.

I hate eff'in hurricanes! Jayzuz.

Imagine my surprise going to sleep with some little friggin tropical storm targeting the house and waking-up to discover it came ashore as a hurricane 15 miles east(got lucky there) and that we'll probably not get our electricity(outside temporary) back till Monday or Tuesday - maybe, or whatever the current rumor.

It sure coulda been worse.

ugh.

Mornin folks.

re: #406 zombie

A zombie fan just released moments ago this video: a montage of photos from my last report (9/11 Truth march) set to the music of "Let's Get Retarded" by the Black Eyed Peas.

Absolutely without intellectual merit, but an entertaining way to spend three minutes if you're interested!

The music is loud, so turn down your volume and/or put on headphones before clicking:

911 Truth March - Let's Get Retarded

Thank goodness the other side doesn't have zombie!

Good morning dead-thread!

This is off-topic, but I'm guessing now that we've passed 400+ posts, I won't be the first to go off-topic.

After putting on the waders and slogging through the rank, condescending anti-American bile @ HuffPo, and a discussion centering around Julia Roberts (the quote about 'Republicans' in the dictionary and a long-winded Oscar acceptance speech for Erin Brokovitch where she proceeded to thank everyone BUT Erin Brokovitch) I was glad to see a bunch of shows on both the History Channel and Discovery Channel celebrating blue-collar jobs (i.e. Dirty Jobs, Ice Road Truckers, Lobster Wars, Made in America w/John Ratzenberger, Wildcatters). Not all these shows are my cup of tea, but I find it's a refreshing change from poseur douchebags Like Sean 'where-oh-where-is-that-Glock-and-.38-that-I-left- in-the-glove-compartment?' Penn pretending to be hard-working, sympathetic Americans for 90 minutes.

Any insomniac scaly lizard minions have any favorite shows along these lines?

BTW- would some of these above shows be classified as 'documentary' or 'reality show'?

The Israel Air Force on Friday fired at a car in the northern Gaza Strip carrying members of the al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad's military wing, who were on their way to fire Qassam rockets at Israel.

Palestinians sources reported that an IDF aircraft fired at a vehicle in Gaza City's Sheikh Raduan neighborhood. There were no injuries in the attack

I agree. After the initial fun and playing the day this was unveiled and the novely wore off, I don't even look at these. Seems like we could use this to our advantage by flagging the really thoughtful posts with lots of plusses, and flagging commenters like Xane (who has since been blocked, I think) with lots of minuses. Seems like that could also be helpful to Charles.

By the way, does Charles read EVERYTHING? Or does he have some sort of filter than notifies him whenever certain words (like "Charles") are written? He sure seems to know when someone has addressed him in these comments.

Yesterday, Julie Banderas of Fox reported on that story, and she actually asked her guests what the reaction would have been if Grifin had said, "Suck it, Muhammad!" I couldn't help but chuckle at that. Julie is not a moonbat, and if any anchor would have the stones to say those words, it would be her.

Pretty much what LanceKates said, that people like Grifin are only courageous when trashing Jesus and Christianity, but stay noticeably "respective" when it comes to the pedophile. I think your entire characterization of Alberta is drivel. Stereotyped drivel. The kind if stereotyped crap uttered by those from Ontario, or actually, Toronto to be more precise.

Gonna reveal whereabouts you are now?

Not so fast on the "stereotyped drivel". The StatsCan report on families, released earlier this week, shows that Alberta had a greater increase in marriages than anywhere else. Off the top of my head, it was a 10% increase over 5 years.

That may be explained by the growth we've had over that period, I don't know, but it isn't a sterotype, it's a fact.

Those pics are amazing UFO!

I always wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid. Now I think I'm perfectly happy to keep my feet on the ground.

Hi m!

sorry I post and run and then sometimes it takes a while to get back.

But, I am doing just fine on this fine Friday.

Hope all is well and good with you too!

504 LanceKates  Fri, Sep 14, 2007 10:12:54am

Back from lunch.

What'd I miss?

505 LanceKates  Fri, Sep 14, 2007 10:14:14am

on my blog, in a thread I made about firearms, someone said that your chances of being the victim of a crime were the same as being struck by lightning.

I did a little math, posted a couple links and can now announce that you are approximately 140 times more likely to be a victim of a crime than get struck by lightninig.

The biggest problem we have in Canada is a completely feminized population--just like the UK. We are starting to see US-style crime in our cities, and the natural solution--concealed-carry permits--are not even imaginable here.

Is there a better word for this, than "feminized"? Many Canadians of the feminine persuasion in the military in Afganistan right now.

re: #506 lilith

the term isn't to 'knock' women... but to show the status of men, who are raised to adopt traits that are, socially, viewed as feminie traits.

There is nothing 'inferior' involved... they just aren't the proper traits for a male.

As such, things are thrown out of balance, just as surely as they would be if women were to masculine. (hey, some are)

It is not a knock on women, but on men for not being men.

Web Service Gives Alibis for Adulterers

I couldn't find a girl with a gun for you today, but I did find a girl in the Israeli Defense Forces. Does that count?

515 LanceKates  Fri, Sep 14, 2007 11:23:40am

re: #514 UFO TOFU

eh, knowing she is IDF helps, but it is just another girl barely dressed.

heh. thanks though. *grin*

that issue you emailed me over a while bac... any progress?

516 UFO TOFU  Fri, Sep 14, 2007 11:32:43am

Lance
Let us not be too quick to dismiss; after all, it's probably easier to teach a barely dressed lady to shoot, than to teach a lady that shoots to do so while barely dressed.
Regarding our correspondence, no, progress as come to a stop. I'm not sure why, but it has me somewhat worried.

517 LanceKates  Fri, Sep 14, 2007 11:40:50am

re: #516 UFO TOFU

as for the shooting thing.. It is likely. However, I find women who can (and like to) use firearms MUCH more attractive than ladies in bikinis... it is all a matter of taste.

As for the other deal... don't worry. It'll happen.

Would it be inappropriate to ask what your online schooling is costing? If so, no problem. My brother-in-law is studing here. He seems to think highly of it, but I balk at the price tag.

I hear ya. I hadn't read completely through the thread when I posted, and I agree that there are "proper traits for a male".
It's about moderation. It's a problem when men become too "feminized". or lose male characteristics.
It's also a problem when men are socialized with real insecurity about their masculinity. In order to deal with that supressed sexuality/tension/shame(whatever develop a society that completely controls and shrouds women i.e.Islam. No empathy at all, seen as too wuss.

I pay quite a bit less than that. per semister, based on an averate 12 credit semister, your BiL pays just shy of 4 grand.

I pay around 2700 or so every 6 months.

They offer a large number of degrees, but I believe many are geared towards becoming a teacher.

522 LanceKates  Fri, Sep 14, 2007 12:17:34pm

re: #520 lilith

yup. a man doesn't need to be able to win fistfights to 'prove' that they're a man.

but there are times that a man needs to be a man and fight to defend their family.

the trait of being the protector is a positive masculline trait (one that women can and often do develop as well).

However, with the feminist movement, schools have basically punished kids for having masculine traits... and have even gone so far in some cases as to remove games like tag... Kids that fidget or have energy are medicated. Kids are taught that you 'don't fight' and that there 'is never a reason to fight!" . .. well, there is.

masculine traits are taught as negative qualities, whereas the femine traits are taught as being positive qualiites.

Sometimes I do wonder how badly we've screwed up our society with the feminist movement (which isn't to create equality, but female superiority)...

men and women are equal... but they are not the same, nor should they be.

I just got the bill, $8,400 in repairs to the engine before they scattered it. And we're still tightening clamps and fasteners that they missed. At that rate, quality repairs become priceless.

524 LanceKates  Fri, Sep 14, 2007 12:41:48pm

re: #523 UFO TOFU

wow.. I am, by nature, kind of cynical... so my first thought is "How much of what they billed you for did they ACTUALLY do and how much are they just trying to get from you to make up for having to fix their mistakes?"

If it were my car, whatever costs had been associated with the repair BEFORE they broke it would be considered free, to make up for the inconvience of having to keep my car all those extra days to rework it.

But, i imagine things are different in the business world. heh.

What a crock though... screwing up your bus, making it unavailable for your needs, then charging you 8 grand for the experience.

I've often wished that I was better at repairing cars... i'd want to open up a shop that was fair and honest.

There seem to be far too few.

530 LanceKates  Fri, Sep 14, 2007 2:09:19pm

I'm kind of suprised... I put up a post on my blog and it received 73 views.

3 are from me (1 view when I made the post, then it counts each time you post a comment as a view)

so 70 people looked at my post. Feels kind of odd. heh.

heh, so I'm searching for the martial arts program I am in.

The acronym is S.W.G.M.

Not thinking what else it could mean, I searched for that.

Apparently it has a VERY different (and unrelated to martial arts) meaning.

heh. oops.

ok. off I go.

have fun all. *shrug*

Hope you have a great weekend!

see ya Monday
