Here’s a video clip from UK television on a Muslim woman convicted under Britain’s new terror laws, who called herself “the lyrical terrorist.”

Had she engaged in the same behavior in the States, she would not have been charged, let alone convicted of a crime. The FBI might have paid her a visit, but that's about it.

However, she wasn't living in the US, but the UK, and the rules there are quite different.

Weather and tides likely to cause coastal flooding for eastern England
Forecasters at the Met Office are providing the Environment Agency with the very latest weather information, ahead of a predicted storm surge down the North Sea.

A combination of north-westerly winds exceeding 50 m.p.h., low pressure and high tides could lead to severe flooding in the east of England. Areas at greatest risk are the Broads and the coast south of Great Yarmouth including Lowestoft and Felixstowe.

People living in the affected areas should call the Environment Agency Floodline on 0845 988 1188 for the latest flood warnings in their area. For advice on how to prepare for flooding, tune into local radio and TV stations and keep an eye on local weather conditions.

Stewart Wortley, Head of Storm Tide Forecasting at the Met Office said: "the height of the surge we are expecting on Friday morning happens around once every 20 years or so. The gale force winds should ease during tomorrow."

Paul Woodcock, Environment Agency Regional Director said: "We are concerned that the current weather and tides could lead to flooding especially in the Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Broads area. We would like people to especially think about any vulnerable neighbours. If we do confirm the risk of flooding in your area later today, please consider how you could help them to prepare for flooding as well."

Flood warnings are updated every 15 minutes on the Environment Agency website which also contains help and advice on how to prepare for flooding.

But what strikes me the most is that this stupid girl with lame writings can get arrested and convicted while actual (or I should say more real) threats like the preachers in Mosques, Political leaders, etc., are left roaming around England spreading their hatred.

Its just seems a bit backwards and could end up hurting the overall fight against Islamists.

Ie: it sort of gives a good claim to the Gov prosecuting "thought crimes" and freedom of speech issues.

Thus, when it comes time (if it ever does in England) to arrrest actual Muslim Terrorists, the LLL are going to scream "this is Islamophobia, etc., just like the Lyrical Terrorists" (or whatever).

I saw put this idoit chick back on the street and round up Gallaway, Livingston, or the numerous "sheiks/preachers" who have an actual following.

Maybe the prosecution kept her from carrying out an attack? I don't know.

WASHINGTON — U.S. defense officials have signaled that up-to-date attack plans are available if needed in the escalating crisis over Iran’s nuclear aims, although no strike appears imminent.

The Army and Marine Corps are under enormous strain from years of heavy ground fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Still, the U.S. has ample air and naval power to strike Iran if President Bush decided to target nuclear sites or to retaliate for alleged Iranian meddling in neighboring Iraq.

Among the possible targets, in addition to nuclear installations such as the centrifuge plant at Natanz: Iran’s ballistic missile sites, Republican Guard bases and naval warfare assets that Tehran could use in a retaliatory closure of the Straits of Hormuz, a vital artery for the flow of Gulf oil.

The Navy has an aircraft carrier in the Gulf area with about 60 fighters and other aircraft that likely would feature prominently in a bombing campaign. I think people should be allowed to practice Islam in this country (which is more than Islam's Head Office allows in Saudi). I just think it needs to be HIGHLY REGULATED. Allowed under the kind of checks and balances that are applied to medicines or nuclear energy.

If Islam goes unchecked, it can kill. If practiced responsibly, it can be as benign as any faith.

It sickens me to think that anyone could get off watching another human being having their head sawed off.
