‘More Dangerous Than Osama Bin Laden’

Here’s yet another vicious personal attack from a Vlaams Belang supporter, a Belgian blogger named Björn Roose (a VB member and spokesman for the Voorpost), who believes I’m more dangerous than Osama bin Laden. In this one you can see the virulent anti-Americanism that’s part of the world view of these people: De Vlaams Belang controverse.

Translations:

Johnson lives in a country where the original inhabitants have been cleaned of the map and have no problem with a similar scenario repeating itself in other countries. Johnson does not like symbols, and especially not crosses, unless these fit in his hatred against Islam. …

I see Islam as a serious threat, but I see liberalism - as a variant of socialism - as the most serious threat. I view people such as Charles Johnson as more dangerous for the Western world than people such as Osama bin Laden. I consider national socialists, just as communists, to be leftists and I do not want anything to do with any of them. As a heathen, I respect true Christians. I do not see myself as the beginning and end of everything, as individual that is, but as part of the circle of life. I find this to be an honourable position.

A good comment from Yank in the EU.

UPDATE at 12/11/07 11:31:46 am:

Here’s some more factual information on the ideology and anti-Americanism of Voorpost and Björn Roose (the blogger who thinks I’m Osama Squared) from notorious leftist Øyvind Strømmen: The Wonderful World of Voorpost.
