Al Qaeda Traitor Stars in New Video

Sun, Jan 6, 2008 at 10:01:27 am PST

Some people were speculating that Al Qaeda traitor Adam Gadahn might have gone missing, but he’s back with a new video full of the usual “look at me, the fierce jihadi!” blather: American Al Qaeda: ‘Traps’ Set for Bush.

American Al Qaeda leader Adam Gadahn told his followers to welcome Bush “with bombs and traps” upon his upcoming visit to the Middle East this week.

“The occupied territories are awaiting their first visit by the crusader Bush and the mujahideen are also waiting for him,” said Gadahn, a California native and now an Al Qaeda spokesman. ...

In his newest dramatic gesture, Gadahn tore up his U.S. passport in protest of the imprisonment of fellow al Qaeda followers Abu Zubaydah, John Walker Lindh and Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman.

“I don’t need it to travel anyway,” he said afterwards.

Gadahn made reference to November’s Annapolis conference of Middle Eastern leaders, saying it was a gathering of Bush’s “loyal puppets.” He said the United States has been “unmistakably defeated” in Iraq in Afghanistan and has lost the battle for hearts and minds “in spectacular fashion.”

“They’re about to hand the whole mess over to local proxies who, if they haven’t already, shall soon rue the day they sold their souls and religion to the American devil,” Gadahn said.

Here we see Adam with his special Al Qaeda logo coffee cup:

Laura Mansfield has more, including the full video in WMV format.

Here's to hoping that the video kills the jihad "star." May this video get tracked back to the source and all of Adam's friends and accomplices get picked up for his stunt - and it is a stunt. You're a big man who thinks that it's news that you rip your US passport.

Nope, siding with enemies of the US is sufficient.

Traitor.

Here's hoping that you get what you deserve - in 500 pound increments.

Gadahn converted to Islam from a Jewish-Christian family when he was 17 and a few years later moved to Pakistan. He was previously known as Adam Pearlman and grew up on a goat ranch outside Los Angeles."

This is gonna piss Mandy off a bit, but, yeah sometimes, sweetheart, men have to go to war. I missed that honorable opportunity when I was young enough (I'd still pick up a shotgun against the enemy if I had to).

Anyhow, men need to fight wars. There are several fronts brewing right now. Let's deal with Iran first.

[Gadahn's parents say] the FBI's depiction does not resemble the Adam they knew -- a gentle, conscientious boy who enjoyed rock guitar and classical music, who backpacked the High Sierras and traveled to Sweden with a favorite aunt.

"Adam was a very typical teenager," said his aunt, Nancy Pearlman. "There's no story about his upbringing." Pearlman said the family is declining to comment further for now, noting that FBI officials have not issued any public statement linking Gadahn to the video.

I believe the answer is yes, under most interpretations of Jewish law. But Judaism (unlike Islam for example) recognizes conversions to other religions. I would assume that Adam no longer considers himself Jewish, and I think that's probably fine with the Jews.

Gadahn was born in Oregon and raised and homeschooled through high school by his parents on an isolated farm in Southern California where they raised goats.[1] He played Little League baseball and participated in Christian homeschool support groups. As an adolescent he became very involved in the Death metal community, making contact with fans and musicians through alternative magazines. During the summer of 1993, he formed his own one-man band called Aphasia[1]. Gadahn contributed music reviews and artwork to a zine called Xenocide

Walker is arguably the most damaging spy in US history, certainly in Naval history. He gave the Sovs the codes and software side of the Naval coding system. Walker cooperated with authorities and in a plea bargain, he agreed to submit to an unchallenged conviction and life sentence, provide a full disclosure of the details of his spying and give testimony against Jerry Whitworth in exchange for a pledge from the prosecutors that his son would receive a sentence of no more than 25 years imprisonment.[8][2] All of the members of the spy ring besides Michael Walker received life sentences for their role in the espionage.

"Ok, I dare you to step over this line."

Pres. Bush steps over the new line

ad infinitum, ad nauseum........

You know I was thinking the same thing. Obviously I pray no harm befalls our country or our president, but one would think these threats, constant and empty would eventually make these idiots look impotent.

Why would they continue doing it?

Because they only have to be right once.

Then as when are getting up off our asses (again) people run around yelling "why didn't anyone know" and the answer is they told us but no one was paying attention.

From Wikepedia:

Gadahn's Jewish paternal grandfather, Carl Pearlman, was a prominent surgeon and on the Board of Directors of the Anti-Defamation League; his paternal grandmother, Agnes Branch, was an editor for The Chronicle Christian Newspaper.[6]

Gadahn's father, originally Phil Pearlman, grew up in Orange County, California. He was involved in the counterculture movement at the University of California at Irvine, and before Adam's birth became a self-styled religious Christian. He and his wife Jennifer changed their name to Gadahan, after the Biblical warrior Gid’on or Gideon[1].

Gadahn contributed music reviews and artwork to a zine called Xenocide. Sample excerpts include this from a review of Acts of the Unspeakable by the band Autopsy released on the Peaceville record label:

The Bay Area quartet crank it up to a good fast grind on many of these tunes, notably `Tortured Moans of Agony,` Battery Acid Enema`, Blackness Within` and `Skullptures` ... This is an excellent release from some Death Metal pioneers!

and for an EP released by the band General Surgery:

This is basically a Swedish `supergroup` of death, featuring members of Dismember, Afflicted and Crematory ... Lyrically, the quote on the back cover pretty much sums it up: `Murder is the only way to kill time.`[7]

In 1995, at age 16, Gadahn moved in with his grandparents in Santa Ana, California, where he worked in a computer store and explored the Internet.[1]

A church of England Bishop has publicly stated what everybody knows that certain parts of the UK are no-areas due to Islamic Extremism. The link to the article is here

To quote the article:

Dr Nazir-Ali questions whether elements of Sharia law are applicable in the UK and confronts directly the use of loudspeakers on mosques to spread the call to prayer.

He writes: "...there has been a worldwide resurgence of the ideology of Islamic extremism.

"One of the results of this has been to further alienate the young from the nation in which they were growing up and also to turn already separate communities into 'no-go' areas where adherence to this ideology has become a mark of acceptability.

"Those of a different faith or race may find it difficult to live or work there because of hostility to them.

Fury over bishop's comments

Mohammed Shafiq, a spokesman for the Ramadhan Foundation, a Muslim youth group, caalled on the bishop to resign. "His article is once again an attempt to whip up hatred against Muslims and cause division," he said.

Ajmal Masroor, spokesman for the Islamic Society of Great Britain, said: "It's nonsense. It's a distortion of reality. I believe our communities are far more integrated than they were 10 years ago. If the Church of England had an iota of fairness in their minds they would definitely take serious action."

Inayat Bunglawala, assistant secretary-general of the Muslim Council of Britain, accused the bishop of scaremongering. "Bishop Nazir-Ali appears to be exercised by what he perceives as the decline in the influence of Christianity upon this country, but trying to frantically scaremonger about Islam and Muslims seems to us to be a rather unethical way of trying to reverse this," he said.

The Pope's comments remind me of OPEC, which has been making out like an incredible bandit, and will continue to do so unless we start shafting them. For example, flex-fuel technology is cheap and bulletproof. We could hurt them. The choice would be a good one, but even making that tech a federal requirement wouldn't be burdensome. That would go a long way toward tamping down the Saudi profit curve.

Or an application to be RP's press secretary.

LOL! Ya just know in some cave on the border of Pakistan...there is a Ron Paul Yard sign.... I just know someday..the military is going to find a cave with a huge cache of weapons, twinkie wrapers and a Ron Paul for President sheet! LOL

NYSlimes is already setting the table for a '08 vote challenge.

Funny no mention of democratically controlled King Co. WA, and 2000 more votes than voters, and finding ballots until the (D) won.

Pope preaches socialism and sobriety.....
Pope calls for 'sober lifestyle'

Pope Benedict XVI has called for people to adopt a 'sober lifestyle' and to commit to the 'equal distribution of wealth' to combat the negative effects of globalisation.
....
'It is clear that only the adoption of a sober lifestyle, accompanied by a genuine commitment to a more equitable distribution of wealth, can bring about a just and durable order of development,' he added

I guess that means the Catholic Church is going to liquidate its stocks and properties and give it all to the poor. Excellent!

They should have pulled the magazine and done a special run so that magazine with so much dated material was not published.

I agree, but as they are a freebie with the Sunday papers, I doubt that they have the financial resources to do this.

I will always remember this classic.

I don't think that this is the first magazine to do this, and the only good thing is that it allowed more to be known about Benazir Bhutto.

I read this, that was published posthumously. Sadly, she very well might have been a real friend to Israel has she lived to be PM.

The only one I think did really poorly was Ron Paul. . . . he has absolutely no clue about the magnitude of Islamic Jihad in the world. This confirms to me that his supporters are totally clueless. The news is out there, but they apparently choose to ignore it. WTF?

It's amazing that in this world of vast instant internet research sources, there are still so many clueless imbeciles who will flock to a snake oil salesman with herd mentality.

Killgore -

The Vatican News service usually does not post on Sundays. I'll watch for the full sermon. From what I gather, this was an Epiphany sermon designed to draw a parallel between present-day Christians and the Magi who brought valuable gifts to the infant Jesus.

As such, a call to service to others in the name of Christ, and ordering one's priorities as to material possessions would be quite in line with Christian teaching. A voluntary call to service and giving is not at all the same as State-decreed income redistribution.

But I'll read the transcript when available. Just my take.

The video of Adam shows him well covered by a tablecloth, as though he wishes to hide his bulk. But the stills show his fingers to be not particularly pudgy.

Is there a chance that the combination of living off the wealth of what ever tribe is sheltering him while doing no work has allowed his muscles to atrophy, leaving him as a 300-pounder,barely able to walk?

This would explain his comment “. . . I don’t need it to travel.”, as he might be able to walk only 20 or so meters at a stretch.

Adam, dude(?), you would do well to skulk away and make your way to US or NATO forces as soon as you are able, as your mighty warrior friends are using women and children as weapons and shields, and if they discover that you can in fact walk, you might be next.

You do realize that, if you live long enough to see your enemy (us) face-to-face, it will be because the brave muji warriors have bailed on you.

Judging by the amount of trouble you had in destroying your passport, your current level of warrior-fu is laughable, and your friends consider you expendable.

We had Adam Gahdan in high school. We used to take his lunch money and hang him up in the girls bathroom `wedgie style`. He ended up getting raped by the freshman debate team after he proposed marrige to his sister and mother (was turned down by both after getting caught in a compromised position with his father). And now he`s getting back at us. I`m skeered. Also, he`s not really fat....he`s carrying an asshole baby from Osama.
Truth is I wish I could spend some time with him one on one, just to beat him to death with my bare hands.

Alternatively, he could loose several pounds, pick up a rifle and lead a squad of foreign muji fighters (and stop molesting the goats, and whatever else, of his hosts).

Failing that, he could at least do a Geraldo, and make his reports from the field (I mean, with such brave fighters as he is with, and more facial hair than The Moustache, . . . ).
