-RetweetSenior Church Leader: Ban the Mosque

Wed, Apr 2, 2008 at 10:29:31 am PDT

A senior member of Britain’s General Synod of the Church of England is just begging for a fatwa.

A senior Church of England member called yesterday for the building of mosques to be banned.

Alison Ruoff said more construction would lead to Islamic no go areas dominated by exclusively Muslim populations living under sharia law.

Mrs Ruoff, a member of the General Synod, the Church’s parliament, added: “If we don’t watch out we will become an Islamic state. It’s that serious.”

Think of the poor four wives at home with the children, all on British welfare.

This is no solution to the inherent problems that ideology poses for all of us.

The rest of us need to be clear eyed & sober.

By the way, Spain is full of wine, dancing, bars & action near all its mosques, yet Spaniards are more cowardly than ever, NOT more pro-Western civilization.

I believe in freedom of religion. Each can practice in their own manner.

The problem with extending that basic "right" to Islam is want that right exculsively to themselves. They are unwilling in to practice religion as equals with other faiths, traditions, and those who practice no faith.

Until they can wholly, willing and without reservation join in the community of faiths. Then restrictions are appropriate, it is not discriminaiton it's self defense.

When he runs into liberals weeping over the demise of Indian culture, he is cold as ice: "Why do you think I believe you care so much about preserving Navaho culture, when you don't give a damn about preserving your own?"
This thread brings to mind something he said recently:
"The same people who whine about a Holiday Inn being built near the Canyon de Chelly seem delighted to have a monstrous mosque in Old London."
Is Western culture worth preserving?

Thus, your freedom of belief is absolute but your freedom of practice is only contingent.

>strong>KABUL, Afghanistan — About 70 Afghan women burned the Dutch and Danish flags during a demonstration Wednesday in the capital against an anti-Islam film and the reprinting of a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad.
strong>The women chanted slogans against the two countries during the protest outside the Ministry of Information and Culture in Kabul. Most wore the all-covering blue burqa.

In a city of 4 to 6 million people this is not even news, it is pathetic. They hired the street beggers for a buck. Shows the whole seething rage about the film clip is a bust. We do better then that in the US when someone kicks a dog.
And the idiot media gives this a headline? They are even more pathetic then the women.

Thank you LindaMarie for reporting from Afghanistan, direct!
(What "information & culture" does that Afghan ministry promote, exactly?)

If Saudi Arabia is funding houses of worship in England, Saudi Arabia ought to ALLOW infidel houses of worship in Arabia.

Won't happen - should but won't. Not the way Islam works especailly when it is Sharia law.

If the Afghan government ministry IS in the business of Sharia, then Sharia is a political instrument and ideology, not a private faith.

Western governments should not allow the establishment of other, mutually exclusive & totalitarian political systems in the GUISE of "houses of worship".

Aaarghhh. Bless you for putting up with that phony double talk in Afghanistan. Information & Culture ministry, my donkey.

Unfortunately, Great Britain is leading Europe in abortions - and nitwits like Ms. Furedi of British Reproductive Care or whatever her organization calls itself, is even supporting late term abortin. The Brits and the other Europeans are aborting themselves out of existence. Islam is now the largest religion in the world because of this.

It is IRoA offically - Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
There is little the US could do about that. All we can do, and are doing, is to let a little light shine into the darkness. A little light goes a long way in a cave after all.

That and up to four wives which has something to do with it. I just realized you can have 4 children in a year and none of them multiple births - shudder. of course it is up to the women to take care of them.
In all honesty - few have more then one wife here and most stay married - unless the wife dies in child birth - which is common and a sure way to paradise. Only the very rich (read corrupt) have more then one wife.

With the film Juno currently on release in the UK, and Britney Spears sister as a role model, teenage pregnancies ( already the highest in Europe) will undoubtedly increase, so there is still hope. But then there is the Uk epidemic of single motherhood and absentee fathers...not really so conducive to creating self-respecting, freedom-valuing, jihad-aware individuals. In fact, this social catastrophe is producing a nation of soap opera, tv chef, reality tv obsessed, depoliticised plebeians who think Mecca is a national chain of bingo halls and casinos.

If she were in America she'd just be blowing smoke. Imagine the 1st Amendment difficulty of tearing down mosques.
But in Britain there is an established church, the CofE. The Queen should fire Rowan right now, and hire this woman as Archbish. Imagine what the jihadis would be thinking as a woman sends in the wrecking balls.

152 mich_in_denmark  Thu, Apr 3, 2008 6:37:08am

Dear #98 roquejew

When you write:

It seems more and more people are beginning to see that Islam is not peaceful and that the ultimate goal is domination. I hope that this kind of thinking becomes an epidemic in Europe before we here in America are forced to yet once again fight for their freedom on their soil. It's bad enough we're already fighting for these ungrateful bastards in other turd world nations.

- I both agree and partly disagree with you:

Yes - more and more people do understand that the so called religion of Islam is extremely dangerous - yet still a just few really fight back.

Yes - We do have a "DEB" DhimmyEpedemicBehavour in Europe.

-but also in basically all of the US media and the vomit provoking Political Correctness in both US, European and other "western" nations or allied country's.

Yes - Some people in Europe are straight forward stupid and ungrateful when it comes to the US rescue of Europe in both WW1 & WW2.

For what it's worth - I deeply apologize for that!

However - Many of us so called "ordinary people" do remember and/or understand the effort and human lives USA has put into fighting totalitarian systems in the past.

And - This is exactly the reason my own country from the start shortly after 9/11 went alongside the US - And have staid there even at times when stupid judgment made some other people and nations turn yellow and/or make stupid remarks about countries like Denmark where just tails on an American xxx - well you know.

Thats why our ground special forces went in to Afghanistan alongside yours and other nations - even before the major US & UK missile attacks started.

Our current Danish troops in Afghanistan are almost all combattroups. - In total around 700 equipped with heavy tanks and other high tech equipment.

And they are totally free from restrictions - they are there to fight!

Around 500 of these Danish troops are stationed in the very center of the battles in the southern Hellman province - and our soldiers fight and die fighting in direct combat with Tali ban - using everything from tanks to guts in man to man in-fight!

- alongside brave men and women from Canada, Holland and the UK !

And they do die for the freedom of all of us - and despite the dhimmy and pathetic remarks made by European politicians.

(If Germany and France were just to match our number of troops, they would have to put 11,200 and 7,000 troops into the fighting)

So far 14 of our Danish soldiers have been killed fighting in Afghanistan (that amounts to approx 1000 US casualties when you consider the size of the nations)

Thus:

Some of us humbly try to repay old war-debts to the US at the same time we fight for our own and others freedom.

And you are so right, RoqueJew.

We owe it to the US - and to ourselves
