But what's the context?

2 1 jew indivisible  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 1:23:11pm

The context is that this was the camp play. I remember my camp put on Grease. It was cute, but nowhere near as serious.

3 Militant Elvis  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 1:24:55pm

But won't someone PLEASE think of the children!?!?

4 lip  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 1:28:40pm

What context? Thats the next generation of terrorists we'll have to kill....

5 Frank  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 1:47:58pm

Good. I'd hate it if my children were denied having terrorists to kill.

6 PDM  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 1:51:25pm

Like father, like son.
I couldn't leave this one alone.

Ah, summer.

9 mommydoc  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 2:01:38pm

Once again, PDF, you rule!

10 Bill Herbert  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 2:04:52pm

Great. At least they're lowering their expectations.

They may not be able to destroy Israel, you they'll be damned if they let Fisher-Price Israel remain standing!

11 stifford  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 2:09:30pm

see what happens when you start banning dodgeball? ; )

12 PDM  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 2:24:27pm

Thanks mommydoc. Those little creeps are a glimpse in to the future. Its amazing what people will invest their most valuable resource in. Setting their children up to be killed by IDF has got to be the dumbest thing in the world.

13 Eric the CR  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 2:42:21pm

Those bastards are getting ready to attack the Smurfs!

14 Jeff  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 2:54:47pm

I sent the pic and caption to Mr. Sharman.

It's a remake of "Terror in Tiny Town".

17 Glen Wishard  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 3:22:52pm

I shouldn't criticize this. If I'd had access to real explosives at that age, my sister's dollhouse would be with Allah now. And there'd be a pre-school in Jenin named after "The Martyr Malibu Barbie".

18 J Lichty  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 3:23:42pm

For you Simpsons fans:

What's a diorama?

19 Infidel  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 3:35:58pm

Context? Its just a joke, get it. Ha Ha Ha

20 mommydoc  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 3:46:21pm

Glen (#17)--Hysterical. Of course, Barbie would have become one of the most popular virgins in Paradise! Nah, because she's an infidel. Look at how she dresses!

Teddy (#15)--Great link. I just joined, and will be forwarding this as much as possible. Charles--do you think this rates front page?

I especially like this quote:

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"Those who fill the minds of children with hate, who use the bodies of children as weapons, who exploit the deaths of the young to further their own power-- have as their goal the destruction of peace and freedom."

-Paul Wolfowitz

Deputy Secretary of Defense for the United States.

No apologies, no "yes, but..." Of course, he's probably a Jew and part of the great Zionist conspiracy.

On the subject of the death cult: if you can believe this, the Arab News has an article in tomorrow's edition entitled--wait for it--"Why people commit suicide?"

Evidently, suicides (particularly among young men and women) are on the rise in the Kingdom. And so the author wonders,

"We read reports of suicides in local newspapers almost every day. Some of the people who kill themselves are foreign maidservants.

Why do they go to such extremes?"

The author concludes that the reason many young Saudis are being driven to kill themselves is because their fathers are too insistent on "impos[ing] their will on their sons."

Hmmmm.

22 Dar ul Harb  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 4:58:03pm

Just then, from around the corner of one of the toy apartment blocks came the thunderous sound of G.I. Joe's team opening up with their Multiple Launch Rocket artillery system (rockets sold seperately). The 50-foot splodeydopes were blasted into hamburger.

Barbie, Skipper, and her Israeli friend Rebecca were saved, along with all their un-Islamic wardrobe!

"It'll take a lot of baby wipes to clean up that mess," quipped Joe, squinting at the sizzling ruins.

"Nah, we'll just let the dogs out," said Skipper.

And there was much rejoicing, and hot plastic-on-plastic action later that evening.

23 Dave  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 5:11:11pm

G.I. Yosef, I think, is in charge of that particular team. G.I.Joe is his American cousin, currently mopping up similar giants in Afghanistan...

24 Ernie G  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 5:20:08pm

The late Golda Meier, former Prime Minister of Israel, once said, "There will never be peace in the Middle East until they (the Palestinians) love their children more than they hate us (the Jews)."

They would have to start by loving their children at all.

25 lip  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 5:20:15pm

RE#5 Frank, LOL, but I never want my kids to have to go through the Cr@p I did in the military!! I have no doubts they could handle it but I'd rather not have these people in the world. LIP

26 kathyn  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 5:31:09pm

Yasser AraRat and his fatah are guilty of the destruction of an entire generation of kids. He has stolen their childhood and their souls. He will have a lot to answer for when he meets his maker. Feel sorry for him because he's lost forever.

27 Robert Crawford  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 6:39:23pm

#21:

We read reports of suicides in local newspapers almost every day. Some of the people who kill themselves are foreign maidservants.

I don't give Arab News and Antisemitic Reports hits anymore, so I have to ask: Do they consider that those foreign maids are killing themselves over something that happened in Saudi Arabia? Or is that just a throw-away line in the story?

28 Robert Crawford  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 6:46:26pm

Well, I couldn't stand it, so I went to the Evil Place, and I have to admit -- it's not a bad article.

[Link: www.arabnews.com...]

They should announce the factors that forced some expatriate workers to end their lives, even if they expose some of our failings.

That would be a good thing, no?

They're oversimplifying on the causes of suicide in the West -- they say it's solely because of neglect. And they're oversimplifying on the causes of suicide in Saudi Arabia -- they say it's solely because of too much family pressure.

Hey, if they'd drop the caricatures of their and our societies, and consider that both causes pop up everywhere, maybe they'd be starting on the road to waking up.

This is just a prep-school for Al Najah University

30 Bossman  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 7:52:35pm

I didn't know Leggo made a Palestinian version.

31 mommydoc  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 9:35:46pm

Ernie G (#24)--Thank you. You just gave me my first soundbite. I'm trying to come up with an idea for a PR campaign that I could present to the local AIPAC that would be issue-oriented in such a way that the general US public would pay attention to. The full-page ads with signatures in the NY Times just don't cut it. The Living2Die campaign is a little to vivid to start off with, but I definitely think it needs to start with how they treat their kids. Maybe then how they treat their women (the girls shoved back into the burning school and the stonings with appropriate quotes would be next). Then I think it could get into a history of the land.

But I think it starts with Golda Meier, God bless her.

32 Joanne Jacobs  Fri, Aug 16, 2002 10:18:02pm

Why are foreign maids killing themselves in Saudi Arabia?

(a) Young women who take domestic jobs in foreign countries are vulnerable to sexual exploitation, since they're poor and isolated.

(b) Women have no rights in Saudi Arabia.

(c) Non-Muslims have no rights in Saudi Arabia.

(d) Women who don't follow the Wahabi code are considered sluts.

Rape would be my guess.

Have you noticed the tank in the middle of the lilliputian town they built? How are they training them to deal with tanks? They are only carrying small weapons. But, they covered their faces nicely.

34 Aaron  Sat, Aug 17, 2002 1:08:39am

PDM #7: That's great, except for one thing. What's this "Ahmed" nonsense? That must be from the people who insist upon "Qur'an." You should use either "Achmed" or "Akhmed," because as you know, it's pronounced
"A[endless gutteral]med."

..and cincerning the United Nations....:o)

Nowhere was the power of the new majority in the General Assembly more evident than in the critical area of finance.

In 1945 the United States was assessed 39.98 percent of the UN budget, while the poorest members were each assessed a minimum of 0.04 percent. Although the U.S. assessment eventually dropped to 25 percent for the general bud- get, that decline is not as large as the decline in America's share of global economic output.

The U.S. share of the peacekeeping budget, which is usually larger than the general budget, remains 31 percent. The UN budget is actually three budgets: regular, peacekeeping, and voluntary contributions (which cover humanitarian and development programs). The total cost comes to some $10.5 billion a year.(11)

Moreover, the General Assembly's financial bias in favor of Third World members has become more pronounced over the decades. The General Assembly reduced the assessment for poor states to 0.02 percent in 1973 and then cut it again to a minuscule 0.01 percent five years later.(12)

By 1992, 79 members were paying the minimum amount to the regular budget while another 9 were chipping in 0.02 percent. That meant that a majority of voting members in the General Assembly contributed less than 1 percent of the UN's general budget while just 14 members contributed 84 percent.

A similar situation prevails with the peacekeeping budget.(13) That fundamental disconnect between power and the purse is the central factor in the corruption of the United Nations and has led to a proliferation of agencies, an oversized bureaucracy, and general irresponsibility.

Is the UN paying for these summer camps....Who is paying.??

NC and Robert:

I wouldn't even assume the cause of death is being reported accurately in many of these cases. Don't forget the story about the Saudi Princess who threw her maid down the stairs.

Columbo doesn't work in Saudi Arabia.

38 Joe-man  Sat, Aug 17, 2002 9:21:50am

Nah....this is just another propaganda photo created by the IDF!! Those aren't really Palestinian children, they are JEWISH MIDGETS!!

IT'S ALL A LIE I TELL YOU!!

...and if you believe that, a have some ocean front property for you in Colorado.

Last words of those kids up there:

"Whoa... those tanks seem a lot BIGGER than what we practiced on..."

40 Brandi in AZ  Sun, Aug 18, 2002 12:03:52am

Robert Crawford wrote, "Do they consider that those foreign maids are killing themselves over something that happened in Saudi Arabia?"

There have been a number of terrorist attacks within Saudi Arabia in the last several months. Western workers are living in fear of car bombs and other attacks, as are other immigrants. I wouldn't be surprised if the so-called suicidal foreign maids were victims either of Saudi men using them and then killing them (being infidels, raping and killing them would not be contrary to the Wahabbi faith), or of internal Saudi terrorist attacks.

Aaron #34:

Wow. Good thing I didn't try to spell Kadaffi...I mean Qadaffi...I mean Qadhafi ... I mean Khaddafi. Well, you know what I mean. Any way you spell "Achmed", that kid is a piece of crap.
This is how I spell To Serve Islam
