ah there we go...

3 rockman  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 10:24:43am

The British Bulldog and the American Dobie look like they ara about to upset the table and come out biting...

4 Emmett  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 10:27:58am

What is it with these guys and the damn dogs playing poker? You see it everywhere.

5 et  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 10:28:17am

There's no poodle. I guess the French aren't in this game.

6 Sharona  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 10:33:58am

Is this some sort of covert signal for the Jihad?! Seems innocuous, but they've used kids before ... either way, the art appreciation classes at PLO universities have a long way to go.

7 Bugs  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 10:34:08am

This magnificent artwork shall lead us to a just and lasting peace.

8 George  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 10:35:37am

Is there some coded reading of the picture, like the greyhound is French, the Bull Dog is English, the little dog is a Zionist, etc? All dividing up the cards of Muslim lands? I wonder if there is some bizarre conspiracy theory behind this painting. I've seen it held up by more than one Palestinian.

This may be something sinister, like Bert & Ernie in Pakistani protests. Bert & Ernie are easily explained by the Sesame Street multi-cultural feel-good hippie message. Obviously Bert & Ernie would be closet Islamo-Fascists. Thank goodness I watched Mr. Roger's Neighborhood instead. His message about always telling the truth, even if it's painful, probably means we needn't worry about seeing Tiger or the King at a Maoist peace rally.

9 el Barto  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 10:46:54am

This has got to be one of the most bizarre things I have ever seen. What is the connection? I suddenly feel the need to go buy aliminum foil. There must be a Zionist/American conspiracy behind this.

10 Barry  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 10:47:12am

Great I've wasted all that money on foil for a photoshoped picture!

13 JND  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 10:50:43am

Uhhh, click the link. It's Photoshopped, LOL...

I must say, though, I like the dogs playing poker much better than the usual drivel these lunatics have on their posters...

Cheers,
JND

Don't worry. You'll be able to sell it at three to four times the price you paid. Remember, you're dealing with idiotarions.

16 JOEY  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 10:54:12am

This is really a pictire of how our friends, the Palestinian people, continue to condemn their children to death. In effect they are announcing to the world, "look out for this kid. One day he will come for you...because that's all he'll know how to do!"

17 gymnast  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 10:55:07am

Having seen the notable Arifish, could some talented photoshopper come up with an Araferrit (no offence to the species intended).

18 kelley B  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 10:56:23am

A pall of sheepish stupidity seeps over the duped, once again!

19 el Barto  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 11:00:55am

After the Zionist occupation of space dupe one would think that LGF'ers would be more cautious.

20 Natalie Drest  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 11:11:51am

I laughed at first...then I looked at that precious, precious young boy and thought about how that culture of death that he is being raised in will kill his young mind before then killing his body in the name of martyrdom.

21 MB  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 11:14:09am

This is a test of the Emergency Black Velvet System. The real black velvet picture of dogs playing poker is in the Smithsonian.

Click the picture...

LGF uses this method for comic relief. When Charles posts the dogs playing poker, we jest at the mock absurdity of the posers.

22 Scott Brooks  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 11:14:25am

#15 - CLASSIC!! Nice work!! LOL!!

23 growler  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 11:21:01am

Does Islam permit gambling?

24 Bugs  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 11:21:43am

Don't worry, Natalie.
After we get done with Saddam, the boy will be able to hold up the real "Dogs" picture and laugh about it with the rest of us.
Every kid deserves a little levity, and not Islamic death cult BS.

25 reaganite  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 11:21:53am

Charles,
I know zulubaby and I promised to come to your defense when you post things like this but don't you think it's funny that after all the previous "dogs of war" photoshop pics peole would catch on??
By the way, let Dr. Jal (#15) do them from now on!

26 velvetelvis  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 11:22:13am

watch your backs Jews

31 maximus  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 11:46:05am

I like #15's photoshopped pic better. Brittany..could be THE weapon to use to turn young arab minds toward things other than jihad. 1 Brittany trumps 72 ugly veiled virgins.

If you mean by "shitty little country" (a cliche, how gauche), the good ol' US of A, you have another thing coming to you. Take you and your bigoted big mouth elsewhere before we go Aegis-cruiser on your pathetic a$$.
Sickening.

34 el Barto  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 11:50:26am

Watcher, that would be a shame if the rest of the world acted in a civilized manner to the US and Israel. Go back to the neo nazi hole from whence you came troll.

Awww, shoot, watcher is just packed jam-tight full of $hit AGAIN! We told you about getting more fiber in your diet, dearie... A nice JDAM enema will clear that blockage out again and watcher can go back to be that nice conduit of streaming steaming fecal material that it always has been... damn sub-quality idiotarian material they are sending us lately, ain't they???

42 Crill  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 12:21:50pm

Charles what country does #30 Watcher hail from?

43 Kylaer  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 12:23:18pm

Watcher's not an idiotarian. He's a VNN-style neo-nazi, who can't seem to comprehend that people who don't accept his viewpoint are not necessarily Jews.

As for "[grinding their] country under our feet" I say: "You and whose army?" There're only, what, ten thousand neo-Nazis? Even less than that, if I recall correctly. And, neo-Nazis, you're being watched all the time, because us non-Nazi non-Jews have gotten sick of your rhetoric (see that neo-Nazi who's now in jail for inciting murder).

44 kathyn  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 12:24:04pm

natalie #20; I felt the same thing when I saw the photo of this young boy. He looks about the same age as my grandson and it just makes me sick to think that this young boy probably has no future because of the hate his people are instilling in him. He should be playing soccer with his friends instead of holding pictures of Saddam. I know why the Palis revere Hussein; after all, he's the one who's paying the families of all those homicide bombers. Once Saddam is gone, do you think that Yassir will have to dip into his own millions to pay the homicide bombers? Nah. he'll turn to "charities" for that.

47 Yehudit  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 12:43:29pm

I don't rely on the crdibility of WND, but I also read about this somewhere else.

Arabs Destroy Joseph's Tomb

The sacred Jewish site regarded as the grave of the biblical patriarch Joseph has been turned into a pile of rubble by Arab vandals, according to Israeli officials. "If we would have razed the gravesite of one of the founders of Islam, billions of Muslims would have taken to the streets," said Minister Natan Sharansky. "It's inconceivable that the world should not know about this travesty." The Oslo Accords put the site under Israeli jurisdiction, but on Oct. 7, 2000, then-Prime Minister Ehud Barak ordered a unilateral retreat, based on a Palestinian agreement to protect the site.
48 Charles  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 12:47:20pm

#30 the watcher is posting that garbage from the University of California Center for EUV Astrophysics in Berkeley. And an abuse complaint is on its way to them right now.

49 Pilgrim  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 1:00:52pm

Where do you buy these most beautiful paintings? If I could just get one painted on velvet or as a tapestry I would be supremely happy. Do you think that a person, a businessman, could make a living selling them along the roadside? I am sure that many art loving people would stop and buy them. Perhaps I have found my life's profession. Dealer of fine arts. Allah be praised.

50 Spiney Norman  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 1:00:57pm

Phe-e-e-ew! What's that smell???

Oh, troll spoor, yuck.

Just in case anyone out there wondered what the difference was between a troll and a, ahem, difference of opinion, I kindly direct you here:

#30 watcher

What's worse, Islamofascists or Vanguard Neo-Nazi trash? Or does it matter?

51 Spiney Norman  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 1:07:31pm

Way to go, Charles. UC Berkeley, *snort*, figures.

Oh, BTW nice photoshop... both of 'em

Hmmm, Poker playin' doggies or Britney Spears...

52 reaganite  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 1:15:44pm

Charles,
You're beating your head against the wall. They will send you the standard "he has been made aware of his erroneous ways" speech. Once they blow you off, they will privately congratulate him, assign him a new address, and he'll be spouting his "enlightened" view again, oh, right about now...

53 reaganite  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 1:18:18pm

Yes, we had a momentary problem; it should be OK now.

61 Charles  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 2:00:18pm

I'm hoping the watcher will keep posting comments, because each time he does it's another piece of evidence for UC Berkeley's abuse team -- who got back to me right away with a note saying that they will investigate, by the way.

62 Spiney Norman  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 2:02:10pm

Ooh, even better: a Hacker Nazi Troll!

Son, you need to get out more. Hell, you might even get laid someday.

63 reaganite  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 2:02:26pm

Cut and paste is a great tool isn't it? I know you couldn't possibly spell "astrophysics" all by yourself!

64 Craig  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 2:06:38pm

Charles,
Thanks for the updates on the system and our Nazi troll #30.
OOOH, watcher (or THE watcher, so much more spooky!) you scare me so! Didn't your grandpappy,
A.Dorf Hilter, shoot himself ca. 1945? Why doncha' do us a favor and follow your fuerher?

BTW, I am not Jewish and I am certain that the large majority of LGF posters are goyim too. But we do recognize quality people, which you are NOT.

Mess with my Jewish brethern and you mess with ME.
Bring it on, you fascist bastard.

65 Ranbutan  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 2:11:08pm

Lame, lame, lame Charles.

The only person I saw laugh at a "Dogs Playing Poker" picture was the retarded son of a guy who had a hunting cabin in Kentucky...and the guy had put the picture up for the kid, who even had a name for each dog. (He didn't hunt, but he loved to skin game)

Now..wouldn't it be better to possibly shift Muslim adoration pictures to St Elvis, David Ben Gurion, Moshe Dayan, Jesus, or GW Bush?

Or, an American symbol like John Wayne, Colin Powell, Babs Streisand, Coca Cola...or the 70's Farah Fawcett Poster?

Or, choosing to be more contemporary, blending in materialism AND sex, the recent Gucci Ad - WARNING! R-rated, but oddly tasteful...as long as the male model who looks substantially short of testosterone is cropped from the Pic in later iterations. (Note: pubic logo by Calle Kass...5'11" Estonian supermodel and non-natural blonde)

Behold, Muslims..the Wonders of the West!

66 Ranbutan  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 2:13:27pm

Errata...that's Carmen, not Calle ...Kass.

67 velvetelvis  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 2:15:02pm

#30, that is some really sick crap. Do you have a membership in any of the following organizations:

Aryan Nation
KKK
PLO
Hamas
Hezballah

Please keep posting so the FBI can wade in on this as well. A professor buddy of yours got arrested for some of his actions. We can only hope that you qualify for the same treatment.

#65 Ranbutan
Come on, even for you this is getting old. Would you please come up with an actual argument that isn't maxing out Charles' bandwidth?
As you said, people long ago stopped laughing at the poker dogs, but come on, why do you come here? you know that most people that post here don't agree with your long winded rants.

71 Craig  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 2:25:29pm

Doc Jal, hook #73's post up! Charles, the dogs have to go!

75 Ranbutan  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 2:56:48pm

Reaganite - just knowing you are flummoxed my my contrarian veiwpoints and fail to rise above the articulation level of a wet sack of cement to any poster that you disagree with is pleasing - but disappointing. I mean...jeez...even in a humorous piece..you can't pose an alternative to something like Islamicists raising a lampshade complete with dingleballs to St Elvis, with his "He Lives" in Black Velvet emblazoned everywhere???

Better to joust with the brainy Mommydoc, the big-hearted Zulubaby who is fascinating and nails me from time to time, and the formidable Ben F - than your limp sort.

Raise your game, try to raise your brains, reaganite. Either say that you love Charle's doggie poker photoshop as a "special needs" dude, present an alternative, or stifle yourself.

My hopes are that Muslims will embrace the Martyrdom of Elvis...gone too soon...because he failed to party hardy, didn't drink, smoke, take enough drugs...or eat enough banana & peanut butter sandwiches, and he spent too little time in Vegas.

VIVA LAS ELVIS...the new MUSLIM ICON

Or, let them worship Estonian Gucci fur, over the Kaaba.

As I said, long winded rants. But the fact is, Elvis went home. Where have you been?
Honestly, I do like Charles' dogs photoshop pics just to watch reactions. I for one, know they are jokes. You on the other hand, insist on your long winded droning responses.

79 nik  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 3:11:24pm

He's from Berkeley? Say it ain't so!

Hey watcher. Want to meet up some time on campus? Wanna try saying 'kike' to my face? Let's see what a brave man you are.

Charles

If you find the fucker's name or address, send me an email. I'll send a complaint to the dean. Although I suspect he's just some dirty bum on a public machine (boy do we have a lot of those here).

80 Ranbutan  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 3:13:31pm

#71 - Craig, I understand your Baltic pride in that the women there are fabulous AND one primo gal from Estonia was even selected to be a Gucci standard bearer of sorts!

Well done! National pubic pride!

Maybe the "G" wouldnt translate well in the realm of "Peaceful Islam"

How about a "J".

Better yet, advertise for a really hairy Pal gal who can managed to be shaved into the Arabic..."There is no God but Allah, Mohammed is my Prophet".

It may take interveiwing 20,000 naked, hopefully freshly bathed, ululating Fatimas, with moustache trimmers ready...but it would be for a great cause - to move Charles past his insipid "Doggie Poker" pics.

If they don't cut it as potential shaved Gucci purses, maybe the trimmer could be used on their actual moustaches.

81 Ariel  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 3:37:38pm

Hey Ranbutan,

Given that we're about to go to war, and the "palestinians" seem to be siding with the enemy, does that pose you any problems of conscience? Or is the friend of your enemy your friend?

82 The Viking  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 3:51:33pm

Pals and Art.

I wonder how many real art museums Arafat has instituted in his misruled self-rule authority.

I only know of one Palestinian "art" museum. It was a gruesome representation of the scene of a "martyrdom" operation against Israeli civilians, with mock limbs and blood all over the scene.

83 mallory  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 3:54:05pm

85 Ranbutan  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 5:26:38pm

Ariel -

Hey Ranbutan,

Given that we're about to go to war, and the "palestinians" seem to be siding with the enemy, does that pose you any problems of conscience? Or is the friend of your enemy your friend?

The Pals did that last time! And got boned big time. No one is saying the Pals have their act together.

No, what is incredible is that the Turks are tapping us for 20 billion to "permit us to " destroy their enemies as part of a 100 billion +expenditure while the Israelis only get 12 billion from US Taxpayers for promising not to screw up the war that defends the Israelis.

Could it actually be that the Turks "out ME haggled" the Jews in getting the monetary wallet-picking of American working stiff dupes?

If Israel tought Turkey how to play "American cow milking", a real bow to the Masters!

86 zulubaby  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 6:01:17pm

Ranbutan,

You have a fan! (see post #84). Please e-mail mallory privately so that I don't have to put up with your baiting on a daily basis, which by the way is getting worse. What is up with you lately? Are you looking for attention?

That Gucci ad was in the British Vogue. That's what Gucci does best: Sexy as hell. If you want to see the entire campaign, go to the Gucci website and click on trova gucci. It's all sexy.

87 Q  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 6:25:43pm

88 zulubaby  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 6:27:19pm

89 Q  Fri, Feb 28, 2003 7:05:35pm

Groovy, baby ;-)

90 The Comedian  Sat, Mar 1, 2003 4:36:34am

It isn't just "Dogs playing poker", the actual title of this painting is "A Friend in Need".

I leave the interpretation of any shades of meaning to be drawn from the title of the painting to more knowledgable posters.
