I had LASIK three months ago. Amazing. Only problems now are some "sparkles" around bright lights at night, and some cloudiness in my peripheral vision when I go from a bright area to a dark area. But it's improving steadily, and should be gone in a few more months.

I think the most interesting and unexpected aspect of it is that it's freed up a whole area of my brain. When you wear glasses or contacts, they're always moving around, have some kind of dirt or debris, and they have a border. Your brain has to constantly re-calculate to compensate for these, but now absolutely no need for that. You don't realize just how much mental work that is, until you stop doing it.

Now that that part of my brain is freed, I can decode the messages from the homeplanet so much quicker. :)

What's the big deal about not being listed as a news site by Google? Let me list the pros and cons as I see them.

1. IMC DOES have news stories
2. IMC DOES NOT have an editorial board, or any of the other journalistic checks and balances a legitimate NEWS SOURCE should have. For this same reason, right-wing sites like LGF and Instapundit are not listed as news sources.

That's really all that matters, folks. It's a simple equation; Think of it this way; if IMC got listed as a news source by Google, then in the spirit of fairness, a large number of right wing sites would be as well. So if IMC got listed, it'd be right along side LGF and Rightwingnews.com in the listing. Why? Because those sights get a LOT of hits.

So count your blessings, understand the simple reasons behind the Google decision, and go about your days.

LGF has been getting a lot of publicity lately. Any spewing of hatred reagrding LGFers from Indymedia is gretly appreciated.

The nitrogen doesn't explode becasue it's an inert gas. Of course, leftists being completely non-scientific by definition would never be able to point this out, but I thought I would lend you a objective hand.
