The Israelis are building what amounts to two giant concentration camps and then calling them a Palestinian state. These camps will house the Palestinians behind the “walls” now being built with American money. This is the Zionist’s answer to the question of what to do with so many millions of Palestinians.

It is to be expected that an uprising will be provoked and, using it as justification, the Zionists will send their aircraft, tanks, bulldozers, helicopter gunships and napalm to slaughter Palestinians, all of them. It will be easy. As the massacres will take place behind the “walls” of the concentration camps, the world will not see them.

That’s where this thing is headed, if we don’t stop the Zionists and the building of the wall.

As you well know, this creates an equivalency between civilians unintentionally killed with those who are specifically targeted. So what as the target here? The hummus? Enav also called the last few week as "relative calm" with no mention of the plots foiled by Israel security.

The young Palestinian woman who carried out the bombing timed it for the height of lunch hour when the restaurant, which overlooks Haifa's scenic shoreline, was packed with beachgoers.

"Suddenly we heard a tremendous explosion. We saw smoke pour out of the restaurant," said a witness, Navon Hai. "Families were dead around the tables, there were children without limbs."

The stench of burned flesh mingled with the salty breeze off the Mediterranean. Wires and pipes were left dangling. Discarded shoes and bloody clothing littered the nearby parking lot.

My parents returned two days ago (back to California) from 10 days in Israel. They went for a 70th birthday party of my dad’s aunt. They came back with depressing news. They said that most people they spoke to are anxious and pessimistic. Some of this, of course, might just be my parent’s spin, or the bias of the unrepresentative sample of Israelis that they met with. But if they are right, then Israel might not have the will to fight, and then all is lost. A dictatorship can be just fine with a demoralized populace, but a democracy cannot survive demoralization of its citizens.

What can bring back the fighting Zionist Israeli spirit of the 40s? Israeli LGFers: get your liberal friends to read this site. Make them see that they face an implacable enemy. Understand that the American people, Jews and non-Jews, want you to fight and win.

Hmmm. It's something I thought of more than once, but you're off on a few points. First, I'm neither lazy nor materialistic. Second, I don't think the US is a pagan country. I think (thank God) that it's a Christian country. It's one of the most religious developed countries in the world.

As to moving my family to Israel, you're right -- that would be a big help to Israel. Frankly, I'm not willing to do that to my kids. I'm willing to support them both financially and morally; I'm willing to visit; I'm willing to work for an American gov't that is pro-Israel; I'm not willing to send my kids to school every day on an Israeli bus. Being a murderer is worse than being a slut, something that Islam just doesn't understand.

You may be right about their breeding activies, but I would suspect that is more about affluence. Rich people tend to have less kids, illiterate people tend to have less kids, and non-religious people tend to have less kids. Since most Muslims are poor, illiterate and religious, they tend to have large families. This is the case across the world for almost every demographic group. But I do agree with you that their high birth rate is dangerous, they are breeding new soldiers at a rate faster than we can kill them.

Actually Bob, I am fairly certain that were America to go then Israel would quickly follow. Not saying it would go quietly, but without American money and military support, Israel would be crushed by the sheer number of Arabs, backed by European money. Who else will replace Israeli equipment that is destroyed in the fighting? Who else will loan money and back them up? Israel needs America, and this often threatens Israel in and of itself, as it has to restrict its actions because of American pressure.

Sorry folks but this is more than frightening. Anyone who claims their group has replaced us is only helping to dig our graves.

Charles, I disagree with your take. 'Bystanders' has been used a lot by the press agencies. It implies moral equivalence to Israeli strikes against Arabs, of course: these people were not intentionally killed or anything.

These attacks show that this is a conflict over land, Israel should have given palis the land they deserve. If they only had their land, they wouldn't be attacking jews.

The goal was to kill and maim as many people as possible.

Something for LGFers to keep in mind. The dead and injured weren't bystanders in any sense of the word. Just like the people eating in Maxim yesterday, they were the target.

There are a thousand subtle ways, both conscious and unintended, that idiot journalists change the plain sense of a horrific event like yesterday's massacre. Thinking people need to be ready to scream down the phone to the editors and the talkback hosts and explain to them how wrong they are.
