-RetweetHappy Eid, Osama!

Wed, Nov 26, 2003 at 7:41:05 pm PST

Islamic web sites are providing a much-needed service to their visitors in the Eid al-Fitr holiday season: a simple way to send holiday greetings to Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden. (Hat tip: Ali Al-Beheshti.)

The Web sites, which reflect radical Islamic opinion, opened their message forums for Eid greetings and urged people to send messages to the former Iraqi president and the al Qaeda leader. An Islamist is a supporter of Islamic political rule.

On one site a message addresses Saddam as a "great leader" who refused to be humiliated by the Americans.

"Brave Saddam Hussein, God protect him and give him victory over the Jews and those who worship the cross," the message states.

Another message reads: "Happy Eid to the brave leader, the father of the two martyrs" a reference to Saddam and his sons, Uday and Qusay, who were killed in a six-hour gunbattle with U.S. troops in Mosul, Iraq, in July.

Some messages on this and other Web sites consisted of poems written to bin Laden asking God to help them die for Islam by joining jihad, the fight against non-Muslims.

You mean Osama and Saddam really are in cahoots? Golly, someone better alert the media.

2 Model4  Wed, Nov 26, 2003 5:45:29pm

It's over. Been fun fighting alongside you Infidels (and our mute, invisible moderate Muslim allies). But all has been lost, the final battle decided against us. How else can one interpret the appearance of the Allahu Akbar! thong?!

3 rabidfox  Wed, Nov 26, 2003 5:50:42pm

I LIKE the thong!. What a better place to carry the message of Allahu Akbar.

4 Chris Allen: Abu O'Donnell  Wed, Nov 26, 2003 5:55:01pm

From the story: "An Islamist is a supporter of Islamic political rule." And all a Communist believes is that all property should be owned by the community, right? Uh-huh.

Oh, and it's a shame CNN didn't provide any links to these sites. I'm sure some creative person could provide, ahem, appropriate messages for the occasion (a la Silflay Hraka's call to spam the website of the Saudi religious police)...

Die already.
Faster.
Please.

6 James  Wed, Nov 26, 2003 6:02:17pm

Oh, but these aren't really Islamic web sites. They're great web sites that were hijacked by evildoers.

7 Fay  Wed, Nov 26, 2003 6:08:25pm

Anyway, as this is a happy holiday item, I want to take this opportunity to wish Charles and his family, and all my American friends, a very happy Thanksgiving. I'm madly jealous that you guys get turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy, while I have to wait until Christmas.

Er, what am I saying? Christmas? Duh, Fay you're Jewish, remember?

Ah, behold the Hannukah turkey!

Dear Mr. bin Laden,

So, I understand that you and Elvis share the same flying saucer. He's some nut, isn't he? - what with all the visits to 7-Elevens at 2 AM and all. I'll bet that putting up with the smell of fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches is -- no, on second thought, don't even tell me.

What I would like to know is, who has better donuts, Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts?

Yours in infidelity,

Lewis

"Ah, behold the Hannukah turkey! "

Nu, the turkey has two wings and two legs, each jointed in the middle. That is 8 parts. Eight! What could be more appropriate!

And you have to baste it with oil, too. Eat, eat! Have bread with that...

lol

Only slightly off-topic...I'm launching a bit early (still working on style and functionality) but Ted Rall inspired me to spend a few days with my lap top and I want to share what I've come up with...

Argentina is braced for a terror attack. The British are warning of more attacks in Instanbul, and in Sofia, and in Britain. Al Qaeda claims it will attack again on US soil. Not to mention threats and attacks in Israel, in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya, the Philipines, Australia, who knows, chas v'shalom. Osama, whatever you do let this Eid be your last.

I will, thanks. Now, who was supposed to bring the wine?

Muslims hate non-muslims. That's why they champion those who kill us:

#17 Camel Prophet, this is the horse shit that Malaysian newspapers sell to their masses. You'de be amazed how ignorant your average Malaysian is. In actuality, the majority of the Non-Muslim Malaysians support the Americans whereas the Muslims don't.

21 Fay  Wed, Nov 26, 2003 7:18:33pm

RWC, yep I know, I cut and pasted...but it just seems to me that there are far TOO MANY POSTERS lately, that have waaay too many names! For example, I offer you:

Krispy Kreme has the better in they styles they make bud DD has more variety..

Still I'd love to see a KK in Iraq that has a 'Hot Saddam' Neon next to the Hot Donuts sign.

The National Review's Michael Ledeen believes that even "Operation Iron Hammer" won't be effective against Iraqi rogue-humans. I agree. Starve the population of the Sunni Triangle until the people turn over bagged jihadis. And then de-program them from the islamic murder cult:

[Link: www.nationalreview.com...]

24 Devon Hill  Wed, Nov 26, 2003 7:34:55pm

But doesn't this post of Charles essentially tell you all you need to about Islam and how rotten it is to the core and what a lie it is?

In Islam, the end's justify the means...they will pull for anyone that even has an Islamic name...it doesn't matter if that person is a mass murderer of innocents like Osama or Saddam...all it matters is that Islam is established...

And for the morons out there, Osama is not just like by a few fringe muslims...he is beloved by the Ummah from Jakarta to Algiers...

And think about this for a moment for those who are old enough to remember when Anwar Sadat was murdered, the Islamic erupted in Joy...

The one decent leader the Islamic world produces and they loathe him...this tells you all you need to know about Islam...the sooner this murderous ideology is buried, the better not only for humanity, but for those Arabs and Turks and others that have had this cult forced on them...

Some required reading over the holidays from Frontpage:

1) "Campus Rally for Terror" a description of the Ohio U hatefest (formerly scheduled for Rutgers U). What's scary about this story is how on the second day the rally splits into carefully screened workshops on how to destroy not only Israel but Caterpiller Tractors Inc. which sells to Israel and other companies selling products to Israel. It's truly creepy and diabolical and is MUST reading.

[Link: www.frontpagemag.com...]

and some interesting views on Turkey since the bombings: "Turkey Tilting Westward"

[Link: www.frontpagemag.com...]

In this article the author, Ariel Cohen, says that not only have the bombings driven Turkey closer to the US but have made Turkey suspicious of the EU's reluctance to take strong measures against the jihadis. He says that the attacks confirmed what the US has said about Islamofascism and that now Turkey was allied with the US, Britain and Israel.

A pretty formidable foursome!

ISM Chutzpa

By Judy Lash Balint

International Solidarity Movement member Radhika Sainath is getting
ready to leave Israel in a few days. But before she goes she's decided to slap
Israel with a $4,000 lawsuit.

The tactics of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) and its
supporters get more bizarre and brazen every day.

On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, Sainath will file suit in
Tel Aviv against the State of Israel for alleged unlawful imprisonment, negligence and
breach of obligations. The $4,000 is for "mental trauma and agony" she claims
to have suffered at the hands of Israeli authorities during her 30 hour detention.

The legal action arises out of the arrest of Radhika and eight of her
buddies when they joined a group of Palestinian Arabs protesting the construction
of Israel's anti-terrorist wall last November near the Arab settlement of Jayyous.

Sainath had only recently arrived in the country on a tourist visa
when she was arrested. Since then, she's been in and out of Israel four times as
each three month tourist visa expires.

Sainath says she suffered no particular harassment at Ben Gurion
airport on any of her re-entries after her arrest (try entering the US on a foreign
passport after you've spent time in a US jail).

Sainath, an Orange County, California resident and former union
organizer, keeps coming back here to get into trouble. On September 5 at Faroun,
Sainath and her comrades tried to shake down the gate in the anti-terror fence. Last
May she was arrested in Tulkarm for interfering with Israeli Army pursuit of
terrorists in the town.

In a May 11, 2003 Palestine Solidarity report of that incident,
Sainath makes wild unsubstantiated accusations against Israeli soldiers. They "used a
father and his small children as human shields," she relates. Sainath was threatened
with deportation after that arrest but Israeli attorney Shammai Leibowitz came to the
rescue and successfully prevented her from having to leave the country.

Leibowitz is also handling Sainath's current suit against the Israeli
government. He, by the way, was the member of terrorist Marwan Barghouti's
defense team who likened his client to Moses and the Israeli State Prosecution to
Pharoah.

In an interview last May, Sainath told me that one of her main goals
was to help people detained by the Israeli Army get through checkpoints. When I
asked how the ISM knew who they were enabling to pass through the checkpoints,
she looked stunned and said she didn't know. "In Tulkarm people who are wanted
by the army aren't going to attempt to walk through a checkpoint. Anyway, it's
not our job to check to see if someone's carrying explosives or not."

Sainath says her US passport was stolen here last year and she had to
go to the US embassy in Tel Aviv to get it renewed. "I encountered a lot of
difficulties because almost everyone who works there is an Israeli-American. They're
all Israelis with US passports. It didn't seem like they'd be helpful..." To someone with
her political views, she implied.

Still, she did get her passport and she did gain entry several times
into Israel. And she did spend by her own admission, more than ten months out of
the past year here in Israel trying to prevent Israel from carrying out its anti-terror
mission.

She's lucky she got off with 30 hours in an Israeli jail.

It's bad enough that Israeli authorities kept on letting her back in
the country to take part in activities that endanger all Israelis, let's hope that the
Israeli government doesn't now give her a farewell present of $4,000 as well.

Thanks, I saw this the other day and wondered what kind of BS ISM was up to. SSDD.

for our buddies at ISM, here is a slogan for ya.

"From the Sea to the River, Freedom for all, Appeasement Never!!!"

29 niall (Abu Ala Peanut Butter Sandwich)  Thu, Nov 27, 2003 4:01:24am

Regarding ISMer: Sounds to me like the "mental trauma" was a pre-existing condition. How else to explain the subsequent behavior?

30 lizzy  Thu, Nov 27, 2003 4:19:06am

hi all!
my eldest daughter Eden and I just had lunch with none other than fellow LGF poster "Selpaw," here in the Hillel Cafe , on Emek Refaim street." Selpaw "is charming gorgeous and lots of fun, and we had a good two and half hour blabby- girly lunch. Any more of you LGF ers who are in Jerusalem, please call , id love to meet you!

31 cba  Thu, Nov 27, 2003 5:33:14am

lizzy--big hugs to you and selpaw!!! I'm glad you connected.

32 Hamanullah  Thu, Nov 27, 2003 5:45:00am

Eid Mubarak, Osama!

33 Jacob0109  Thu, Nov 27, 2003 6:26:53am

I'm certain Messrs bin Ladin and Hussein are both six feet under - well, in Osama's case it'd be more a question of how many cubic feet of Tora Bora rubble that sit on top of his cadaver.

Couldn't we just send someone to take a walk through the premises of al-Jazeera and al-Arabiya to try to find the audio only studios (since there's no footage of these scumbags, sixfeeted as they are) where the couple of trained imitators masquerading as the voices of Osama and Saddam have chosen to dwell and ask them how much they get? We'll double it and get them, posing as bin and Saddam, to order all terrorists to take a hike to hell and stay there.

34 Thom  Thu, Nov 27, 2003 7:03:22am

Can we get #32 deleted and banned ASAP please?

Thank you. And happy Thanksgiving!

35 CCR  Thu, Nov 27, 2003 7:43:27am

I can believe that Osama is dead, but I don't believe Sadam is dead. Voice analysis software isn't that easy to dupe and we know Sadaam was alive when U&Q bit the dust because he mentioned it in one of his audiotapes. Osama may well be recycled audio, but he could be in hiding in the AJ studio for all we know. We should probably check.

36 Thoroughly Modern Hillbilly  Fri, Nov 28, 2003 4:29:05am

On behalf of American law enforcement, we'd be glad to help you die for Islam and meet Allah, Saddam, Osama and your whores with lustrous eyes faster.

You're gonna reap what you sow - f*ckers.

37 Jacob0109  Sun, Nov 30, 2003 5:29:50am

CCR #35, I'd have thought neither Osama nor Saddam would want to miss out on a photo opportunity, much less on a live or canned PR stunt to be relayed by al-Jazeera.
Background could be any heap of rubble - it's plenty where they come from...

But seriously, don't you think that the Arab PR steam engine wouldn't want to present moving pictures of Saddam and Osama, if they were alive (even in walking wounded status), both possibly sporting a current copy of Time Magazine?
