How Terrorists Think

Mon, Dec 1, 2003 at 9:04:29 am PST

At the New York Post, a look at the bizarre, psychotic motions being filed by Zacarias Moussaoui in his terrorism trial: How Terrorists Think. (Hat tip: Michael S.)

He labels Brinkema "little bitch" and "dirty joke" and "daughter of evil." He's furious that she's a woman in what he sees as a man's job. He mocks his Jewish lawyer with various anti-Semitic insults, refers to an Asian-American attorney as "Kamikaze" and calls others of his defense team "fat megalo pig" and "racist."

He barely comments on the prosecutors. These enemies are a fact of life to Moussaoui. Indeed, He wrote of his defense team: "The fact that I do not trust them - unlike the government - prevents me to receive legal advice. Let me be clear that I find them so repulsive as unbelievers that I never even shake their hand."

What disgusts him most are phony pals. Moussaoui believes his own defense lawyers - and the "death judge" - are just as committed to killing him as Bush and the prosecutors.

The same "logic" holds for "fellow" Muslims. In recent motions, Moussaoui has slammed Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad as the "traitor of Golan" and Mohamed VI as the "Jewish King of Morocco" for cooperating with the "wicked Anglo-Zionist persecution" of fellow al Qaeda terrorist Mohammed Zammar.

To al Qaeda, Islam is about death: Just days before the bombings in Turkey, Moussaoui chillingly declared, "Jihad Strike - Ramadan is the Jihad month where all the Mujahids increase their operations (especially suicide ones) . . . no drink, no food, no woman, only blood."

Of course don't expect the "prestige" media to comment or publicize this. If Moussoaui though were a "Jewish settler" who was arrested or a Conservative, it would he trumpeted all over The New York Times et al. Of course the media has to show Islam in only a positive light. RoPMA.

West Bengal bans 'offensive' book

The Indian state of West Bengal has banned a book written by a controversial feminist author from neighbouring Bangladesh.

Officials said they felt parts of the book might be offensive to Muslims.

Earlier this month, a court in Bangladesh issued an order temporarily banning the book pending a law suit against the author, Taslima Nasreen.

Ms Nasreen was forced to flee Bangladesh in 1994 after receiving death threats from Muslim extremists.

State officials decided to take action after Muslim intellectuals¹ in West Bengal complained that parts of the book - Ms Nasreen's autobiography - slandered Islam.

¹ Yes, this is an oxymoron.

We as a country better start waking up to the fact as murderously depressing as it may be that we are in fact in the 21st century engaged in a religious war. And we are fighting a group of people who have a knack for killing people. Islam has no directive to its people about the taking of life...its cool as long as its a infidel. Imagine the chaos a person driven by religious ideals whose religion says its ok to kill us.

We dont have to imagine do we....9/11 Never Forgive.

There is no way you can negotiaite with people like Moussaoui, Yassin, Rantisi and their ilk. You can only physically liquidate them. If you think that that is too hard you have to confront this article of faith, it is either them or us. Let it be war, and let one side (the Freaks) perish.

11 Joel  Mon, Dec 1, 2003 7:27:36am

Moussaoui should be executed and his worthless pigskin wrapped carcass dropped over France where he belongs.

Don't worry Zack, I hate your judge too, after she dismissed your confession. But please, chill on the juvenile omni-hatred, lest Michael Moore fear you're out to usurp him.

#6 PAPADOC: Well, there are some teachings in core Islam against wantonly killing civilians. Of course if that's what one wanted to do, there's plenty that could be taken to support it as well.

These b*ggers always object to women in positions of power. So a real torture for him would be to work for a woman boss.

Wow. Nobody mentioned that Zac suffers from Tourettes Syndrome.

17 PeterS  Mon, Dec 1, 2003 7:35:03am

The Moussaui thing is just stupid. let's just either kill him or drop him into a very deep pit and get on with capturing and killing the rest. I've got holidays to think about.

Speaking of which- if they ever release Moussaui's address, lets all send him hanukkah and Christmas cards from LGF! That would be hilarious. It would be like Miracle on 34th Street with big bags of cheerful kufr mail getting dumped into his cell.

18 dsesq67  Mon, Dec 1, 2003 7:38:01am

I think Moussaoui's mother would be shocked to read such things coming from her angelic child...I mean, isn't that how she portrayed him to the court and media ?

I found this interview enligtening (particularly for the carefully worded responses from Crazy Zack's mom)...[Link: www.pbs.org...]

You have to wonder how many of the Islamists walking around (or in prison) are actually undiagnosed schizophrenics drawn to the magical thinking and bipolar world view that is central to Islam. While this can be seen in other religions as well, nowhere else are followers encouraged to act out their violent fantasies.

In the end, it's gonna be either n-weapons or 1.2 billion doses of thorazine.

I've read articles mentioning mental illness among some of the Gitmo prisoners. This makes sense. You'd have to be half nuts to be a jihadi, or just plain dumb. Wacky Zacky is a bit of both. Still, I'd like to see him swinging at the end of a rope.

23 Rick Z  Mon, Dec 1, 2003 7:52:09am

When I read the article on the train this morning, I thought, "What delusional thinking." Then again, Islam is delusional thinking since its cult status engenders delusional thinking just by having insane people joining up to maim and kill people in the name of 'personal' jihad/Allah/fatwas, not to mention the 72 raisins. It's no wonder we're losing the propoganda part of the WoT: Our leaders are afraid to admit the 'religious' aspects of the war, and how it IS us versus them. And taking prisoners serves no long term purpose for us; we will only catch grief for depriving cultists of their 'right' to kill and maim, while the UN and EU will condemn us for holding these non-combatants in such humanitarian conditions. This while our enemy does not hold those taken prisoner by themselves to the same status we accord those we've captured. The Islamists remind me of the Japanese in WWII when it comes to our people captured/held as prisoners, murderers and torturers posing as jailers, with not a humantiaruan thought in their deformed minds. Delusional thinking, indeed.

Slighty OT:

Has anyone checked out today's NYTimes? It appears they are now the unofficial P.R. agency for Syrian dictator Assad

This one is a gem -

No mention of the occupation in Lebanon, and actually talks about Syria sending in a peace keeping force to Iraq.

This must have come straight out of the Onion.

26 jim  Mon, Dec 1, 2003 8:11:24am

seriously, I think this is one argument for why these proceedings should have been televised. folks need to see how outrageous the Islamists truly are. Generally they are pure abstraction to most Bush critics.

I think keeping them from public view unwittingly leads to a sanitized version or public image of the Islamist, where many perceive them as just normal folks that disagree with us about a few minor things.

In actuality they raving lunatics and filled with a hatred and a worldview that would shock even (some of) the loonies on the left. Let this man talk freely and support for the WoT would soar.

Not so OT:

In an interview this morning on NBC, Hitlery said we seriously need to grovel, spew mewlings to the UN to get them to return to Iraq to give that effort 'legitamcy'.
Apparently she's determined to see more trouble fomented in Iraq, as the citizens there have said they DO NOT WANT THE UN THERE. Also bringing in the UN will guarantee the failure of any attempt at democratization of Iraq. Didn't they just tuck their tails like whipped puppies and run from Iraq? She totally ignores facts and what the citizens of that country have stated they do not want any truck with the UN.

I really hope the next time we have to conduct a serious military operation during Ramadan we can be spared the hooey about its sanctity...since it's the season of "blood."

"Jihad Strike - Ramadan is the Jihad month where all the Mujahids increase their operations (especially suicide ones) . . . no drink, no food, no woman, only blood."

I don't think the U.S. should kill Moussaui, since death is apparently the ultimate reward for the "mujahid". Why give him what he so desperately desires? Perhaps we should keep him alive. Force him to live a long, unhappy life in one of our sterling maximum security federal prisons like Marion, Illinois or Florence, Colorado. Let Moussaui suffer 23 hour lock-downs, minimal human contact, and draconian security measures for the next 50 years. As an added bonus, a life sentence would probably be more cost effective than the death penalty and it's time consuming and expensive appeals processes.

Body Found Inside U.N. Headquarters

A body was found inside United Nations headquarters on Monday, a U.N. spokesman said. U.N. security and the New York police department are investigating the matter.

The U.N. spokesman said the person had been shot, and that the body was discovered inside the building's third-floor lounge at about 11:30 a.m. He declined to give any details on the deceased person pending notification of the family.

The spokesman, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the world body considered the shooting an "isolated incident."

Sources tell 1010 WINS they believe the shooting was a suicide.

Last week, Kofi Annan was telling us that we shouldn't require the diplomats' vehicles entering the UN in NYC to be searched. Umm, so tell me Kofi, how'd that gun get inside the UN? Did whoever bring it in not have to go through metal detectors?

Why did the UN screw the pooch again regarding its security matters?

And why oh why would anyone want such a bass-ackward organization to do anything in Iraq, Afghanistan, or elsewhere when it cannot get its own house in order? (this is only the latest in a long line of failures)
