My elder son raps. There are groups on line where one can rap about anything. I have Zio-rappers rappers in Hebrew about the glory of Israel and Aborigo-rappers rapping about First Nations issues. The lyrics confront contemporary political and social issues of concern to young British Muslim males, who are ghettoized, segregated, and discriminated against. The song most frequently references the the term "kaffur" in regard to the KKK and National Front, groups which actively threaten the health, safety, and welfare of Muslims, Asians, and other "Black" communities in the UK and Europe. These elements of the song are reflective of the anger that so many British Muslims are forced to internalize from the overt discrimination they are confronted with on daily basis. The rise of Islamic fundamentalism in the UK is more a manifestation of gross racial, social, and economic inequities than it is connection to Islamic terrorist groups.

The song and video also confront contemporary political issues. I teach at school and have a class of about 30 young 11 year olds and they all loved it. It seems to be popular and is being duplicated and passed around to alot of other classes and even other schools i believe.
