UK clothing store ARK may be affiliated with Urban Outfitters (update: they don’t appear to be); their web site looks similar, their models are just as glassy-eyed, and they also sell the symbol of Palestinian terrorism, the kaffiyeh.

Urban Outfitters called their version, with no apparent irony, an “anti-war woven scarf.”

In Britain though, ARK dispenses with the “anti-war” hooey and openly names it after one of history’s most notorious murderers: Ark Arafat Scarf.

Somebody’s watching the referral logs over there. They’ve already changed the name of their kaffiyeh; now it’s the Ark Shemagh Scarf. Same murderous legacy though.
