Here’s a fascinating presentation at Case Western University on evolution and intelligent design by renowned biologist Ken Miller, dealing with many of the arguments of ID proponents (for example, Michael Behe’s “irreducible complexity”). It’s almost two hours long, but well worth watching if you’d like to get deeper into the issue, and understand why scientists are opposed to the teaching of intelligent design. Miller’s a very smart guy, and a good speaker; there’s technical info here, but it’s presented in a very entertaining way. (And he’s a Roman Catholic, if you were wondering.) [Video]
