Indonesia to Israel: Lay Down Your Weapons, Now
Yesterday the Indonesian representative to the United Nations demanded that Israel stop using “weapons and bullets” to defend against the atrocities committed by monsters like Rantisi: Indonesia demands Israel does not use weapons, bullets anymore. (Hat tip: Avi.)
NEW YORK (Antara): The government demanded on Monday that Israel return to negotiations with Palestine and no longer use violence to settle heated disputes between the territories.
“Not with weapons and bullets,” Indonesian representative to the UN Rezlan Ishar Jenie emphasized while conveying the Indonesian government’s stance before an emergency session of the UN Security Council.
The session had been demanded by Arab nations following the assassination of Hamas leader Abdel-Aziz al-Rantissi last Saturday.
“It is very important to stop killings of Palestinians because the action will merely cause revenge attacks,” Rezlan said.
“We convey our condolence to the Palestinian families and people.”
