Mecca-Cola On Sale in Israel
Israeli Arabs can now slake their thirst with an ice-cold non-Satanic Mecca-Cola—the Islamic cola that supports Palestinian “charities” and whose maker won’t even say the name of “Israel:” Mecca-Cola on sale in Israel.
Up until now, Mecca-Cola has been distributed primarily in Islamic countries.
Mecca-Cola, named after Islam’s holiest site, first hit the shelves in France in November 2002, marketed by Tunisian entrepreneur Tawfik Mathlouthi. Mathlouthi pledged that 10 percent of the profits would go to Palestinian charitable causes in the form of food, clothing, and school and medical supplies, but not money.
Speaking by telephone from Paris, Mathlouthi said he hoped his product’s message could help mobilize public opinion against Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.
“It is logical for me to sell Mecca-Cola in the Zionist entity (Israel) and America,” he said. “I want to shake the conscience of the Jews about the war criminal Sharon and his administration.”
