Reuters Sanitizing Multi-Use Building Shots?
Here’s a Reuters photo filed at 10:50 am ET, August 9:

The caption for the same photo, filed again at 12:26 pm ET, August 9, has a very conspicuous change:

UPDATE at 8/11/06 4:08:49 pm:
And yet, it was also posted a third time at 2:37 pm ET, August 10, with the same possibly misleading caption:

This one was apparently edited to put the “wrecked by an overnight Israeli air raid” line back in, because it’s slightly different from the August 9 original: it’s missing a comma after the word “suburbs.”
I rarely employ acronyms, but wtf?
