Norwegian Doctor in Gaza Supported 9/11 Attacks

Middle East • Views: 8,858

Mads Gilbert, a Norwegian doctor in Gaza, is all over the mainstream media, claiming that Israel is indiscriminately and purposely murdering civilians. He’s given interviews to the BBC, CBS, NBC, CNN, ABC, the Independent, Sky News, and the New York Times, among others.

And in 2001, shortly after the 9/11 terror attacks, this supposedly impartial Norwegian doctor (actually a radical Marxist member of Norway’s Red party) expressed support for the hijackers.

In an interview with the Norwegian daily, Dagbladet, shortly after the attacks, Gilbert stated:

“The attack on New York was not surprising, after the policy that has led the West in recent decades. I am upset over the terrorist attack, but am equally upset over the suffering which the United States has created. It is in this context that the 5000 dead people must be seen. If the U.S. government has a legitimate right to bomb and kill civilians in Iraq, then there is also a moral right to attack the United States with the weapons they had to create. Dead civilians are the same whether they are Americans, Palestinians or Iraqis.”

When asked by Dagbladet if he supported the terrorist attack on the U.S., he replied:

“Terror is a bad weapon, but the answer is yes, within the context I have mentioned.”

Of course, not a single mainstream media report on the creep mentions any of this.

Dr. Mengele practiced National Socialist medicine. He couldn't separate medicine from politics either.

You know who does separate medicine from politics? The Israelis who send medical supplies to Gaza to treat the murderers who want them dead--and who treat "Palestinians" in their own hospitals in times of quiet when those "Palestinians" are wounded in their attempts to murder Israelis.

He is aware it wasn't Iraqis that bombed us, it was terrorists comprised mostly of Saudis, whom we have supported, not bombed. Or is he saying they were all Arabs and unity and all that type crap?

I am forced by repeated experience to assume that anyone offering "humanitarian" aid to the Palestinians (other than Israel) is in fact on the enemy side. Sad, but that's what the facts point to. Not that there are no exceptions, ever, I suppose; but it's a good working assumption in any given case.

He needs a tee-shirt with the logo 'Useful Idiots For Terrorist Killers'. The more innocents the terrorists kill target, the more jackasses like this will speak up to protect them.

He'd be so happy if anti-terrorist forces just got out of the nations harboring them, so jihadists could more easily grow bigger, stronger and eventually take over those nations - along with the ability to create regular armies, have greater diplomatic clout, and have more global economic blackmail strength.

If the jihadists took over Pakistan, with their nuke capability, the doc would be happiest of all.

Mr. Mad Doctor:

You have to be aware that if the Hamas government cared about their people, they could send the civilians to one part of the country, and the Israeli government would be more than happy to fight with the other half. It's not like it would be a long hike for anyone.*

You know these people are being left in danger on purpose. You know the Hamas government is hoping for dead and bleeding babies. You know, and we know you know. You are either a fool, or evil.

Cross-dressing Dr. Richard Sharpe found dead in cell

The cross-dressing Harvard-educated millionaire dermatologist who murdered his wife in their North Shore home in 2000 was found dead in his cell at MCI-Norfolk last night hanging from his bed, prison officials tell the Herald.

Dr. Richard Sharpe – who was also charged with hatching a plan to escape from jail shortly after he was charged with murder – was found in his cell at 7:26 p.m. last night, said Department of Correction spokeswoman Diane Wiffin.

Sharpe’s cellmate yelled, "Richie hung it up! Richie hung it up!" when he returned to their bunk to see the doctor dangling from the top bed post with a bed sheet wrapped around his neck, a source tells the Herald.

The fine citizens of Gaza held an election and decided that they should be represented by a terrorist organization. Doesn't that make them all responsible for the actions of their government? Every vote cast for Hamas was a vote for a suicide bombing of a pizza parlor or some other civilian target. If ever there was a justification for conducting unrestrained, total war on an enemy, this would be it. In spite of that, Israel has conducted this operation with admirable restraint. The Palis should ask the Germans or the Japanese what it is like to be the target of an unrestrained bombing campaign. They don't know how lucky they are.

Gilbert is nothing more than a hired hand as a media medical Palestinian sympathizer. Oh the pooor Gazans. Look at what the Israelis are doing....
The whole film coverage is about the wonderful humanitarian work Dr. Gilbert is trying to do because he is working in a makeshift hospital in a real damned war zone! In A Real Hospital! He is most fortunate that he has a building over his damned head with suitable modern equipment and not a military canvas tent.
He has a CT scanner, C arm portable Xray, electronic V/S monitors, Sterile IV equipment and dressings, AND another Doctor at his side as an assistant!
Perhaps he needs to go back to Norway where he can
practice in temp controlled comfort, with automatic ass and brow wipers when he breaks a bead of sweat!
Welcome to the real world of war medicine, Dr. Gilbert.

Well, we did enforce something like 17 UN Resolutions, and that did involve minor air bombing but the problem is bin Laden was responsible two attacks on the WTC. The first was in February of 2003 (the garage bomb the blast from which opened a 100 foot hole through 5 sublevels. Six people were killed and 50,000 other workers and visitors were left gasping for air within the 110 story towers). Pehaps this tool is just confused, cause we know he's stupid and evil.

What Hamas Wants

A thought experiment: Imagine that Hamas announces it will immediately cease and desist from firing missiles into Israel, that there will be no more such attacks in the future, and that it will release Gilad Shalit, the Israel soldier kidnapped two and a half years ago and held incommunicado ever since — with not even the Red Cross allowed to see him. What would happen then?

Moderate Israelis would pressure their government to make a reciprocal gesture: to stop the air attacks on Hamas’s command and control centers, release Palestinian terrorists from Israeli jails and get serious peace talks underway.

But anyone who knows anything about Hamas also knows that such a scenario is implausible. Hamas was created to fight and win holy wars — not to seek peace and sing kumbaya with infidels. Hamas wants a Palestinian state in place of Israel — not next door to Israel. And for Hamas, preventing Palestinian carnage is not a priority. That’s not a slander, it’s a fact. As Hamas parliamentarian Fathi Hamad eloquently phrased it: “We desire death as you desire life.”

In 2005, Israelis undertook a real-life experiment: They said: “The Palestinians have a grievance: our occupation of Gaza and the West Bank — even though we administer those territories as the consequence of a war launched to annihilate us. But if our presence provokes violence, let’s see what results from our absence.” That summer, Israel pulled every soldier and settler out of Gaza. Every house of worship and cemetery was removed. But greenhouses were left behind.

Palestinians might have responded by using those greenhouses to grow flowers for export. They might have built factories, schools, hospitals, and hotels along their Mediterranean beaches. Had that been their choice, moderate Israelis surely would have made further concessions — for example, uprooting Israelis from the West Bank as well, and offering to negotiate a division of Jerusalem.

Instead, of course, Palestinians smashed the greenhouses and put Hamas in charge. Since then, Hamas has done nothing to spark economic development. Nevertheless, it has bemoaned the increasing destitution of unoccupied Gaza — now blaming it on Israel’s “siege” — and demanding aid, not least from Israel, which has given it (as has the U.S.), even as the rockets have fallen

We should understand by now that when Hamas officials vow to fight “occupation,” they are referring to any and all territory on which Israelis now exercise self-determination. Osama Hamdan, Hamas’s representative in Lebanon, said: “Our goal is to liberate all of Palestine, from the [Jordan] river to the [Mediterranean] sea…” Similarly Hamas official Mahmoud Zahar has said: ”We do not recognize the Israeli enemy, nor his right to be our neighbor, nor to stay, nor his ownership of any inch of land.”

/pretty much sums up the truth nicely

re: #205 Noam Sayin'

Perhaps I'm being overly skeptical, but I noticed a good number of those patients in that video lacked what one would consider a "war wound." In fact, from the brief glimpses one gets in that vid, there are some "injured" who don't looked the least bit injured, let alone some sort of dust-up with an Israeli artillery round, 1,000 lb. bomb, or surface to ground missile.

If that's the case, and I have yet no reason to conclude that, this guy is participating in Paliwood Productions.

There are several "levels" (if you will) of injuries sustained in a bombing. Usually categorized into three areas, I call them blasts, burns and bullets (penetrations into the body). It's possible some of those folks were knocked down, and even seriously injured, but they don't even really know it yet.

237 Render  Tue, Jan 6, 2009 4:54:01pm

Carl in Jerusalem points out that the reason there aren't any HAMAS/PIJ "fighters" and a shortage of medicine in the al-Shifa hospital is because HAMAS has established a HAMAS only hospital for its "fighters", to which they siphon off the bulk of the imported medical supplies.

Hi DT - from your link:

Al Zawahiri also told Palestinians that they were victims of the Western Crusades against Islam. “Those raids are a gift from Obama to you before he assumes office," he said.

He also attacked Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, calling him a traitor. "At the time when Israeli warplanes are pounding Gaza from the air, he orders his forces to close the border, thus completing the plan aimed at killing Muslims in Gaza," said al Zawahri.

He also assured Palestinians of al Qaeda's support. “With the help of God we are with you in the fight. We target our strikes against the Jewish-Crusader coalition wherever that was made possible.”

[emphasis added, realwest]
I sure hope the "Palestinians" think long and hard about what Al-Qaeda's support of the "freedom fighters" in Iraq wound up doing to the Iraqi people!

I build Nuclear Subs at Mare Island for 20 years...I'll tell you a story about the genius of engineers..One time we wanted to lay a 6" pipe all around the the inside of the outer Hull.. But because of the thickness of the pipe there was no mathematical way to bend the pipe to a 33' radii.
You just can't bend a 6 inch pipe within the outer hull..
I walked in and said just go to the centerline of the boat a weld a 6 foot straight piece of pipe and bend the pipe from there to the top and the other side to the bottom..The math works.. Engineers aren't always very smart.

CNN (right now) reports about the UN's "gotta do somethin'" about Israel actually attempting to protect its citizens (not enough Israelis are dying according to the antisemites), and in the next breath, CNN's "host" reports what al-Qaeda had to say with respect to president-elect Obama. In other words, CNN is the terrorist's mouthpiece -- presenting through Amanpour, the UN, and Al-Qaeda what they all unanimously agree upon -- which is too obvious for words.

All the anti-Israel rallies at which I've counter-demonstrated usually have one or two Marxist and/or communist groups in tow. These communists seem to despise Israel as much as the Jihadis - I've just come to expect their participation in Israel bashing as of late. Curious thing though, is that were the communists have the opportunity to live under sharia law, they wouldn't fair so well. Although the one group that really surprised me with their presence at the DEC 30th San Francisco rally was Code Pinko. There you have aged hippies, some even lesbian, working alongside Jihadis who would rather cover them up or kill them, depending on their orientation. As for this doctor...he's a fool and a creep and a host of other adjectives I won't bother listing here.

Because they don't want to "have a major impact on our sense of security", they want as many of us dead as possible. Remember, they had hoped to kill 50 or 60 thousand on 9/11, it's just that the buildings stayed up longer than Binnie's Boyz thought they would.

Well, the US bombed Iraq after it invaded Kuwait which wasn't legit because the US shouldn't stick its nose into other people's business. Then Iraq fired missiles into Israel which was perfectly legit because Israel is a US ally and because it's always legit to fire things into Israel. Then Al Qaida attacked the US because it bombed Iraq which was perfectly legit because both Iraq and Al Qaida are Arab. Then the US bombed Iraq which wasn't legit because it had nothing to do with 9/11. You should really get your facts straight.

The New Republic isn't utterly schtoopid on the matter of Israeli security, at least not all the time.

Believe me, TNR would be a lot more schtoopid in this regard if Marty Peretz weren't there as a stalwart pro-Israel counterweight to the rest of the [heavily Jewish] editorial staff. (They're all much younger and more liberal than Peretz -- with the exception of Leon Wieseltier, but he's the "arts and culture" editor and I don't think he really has a hand on the mag's political rudder).

During my brief stint there, I lost count of the number of times I heard Franklin Foer (who keeps kosher, at least partially) expressing chagrin at Peretz's "one-sided" editorial support in favor of Israel and against the Palestinians.

On September 18, 2001, Mads Gilbert also said:

I know that the response of the powerful to this disorder-alternating as it does between a dull complacency and, when the disorder spills out of its proscribed confines, a steady, unthinking application of force, of longer prison sentences and more sophisticated military hardware-is inadequate to the task. I know that the hardening of lines, the embrace of fundamentalism and tribe, dooms us all.

I'm sorry; that was Barack Obama on page of his preface to Dreams of My Father.
