When anti-Muslim demagogues Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller want to make sure their explicit enemies list gets seen by as many borderline crazy right wingers as possible, they turn to Andrew Breitbart’s “Big Government” website: The AFDI Threats to Freedom Index - Big Government.

It’s a list of almost every well-known Muslim organization in the United States, plus the Southern Poverty Law Center and George Soros, complete with scary Muslim terrorist shadow picture:

Following the atrocities committed in Norway by one of their devout followers, Spencer and Geller have clearly not spent even one second re-examining what they’re doing. Instead, they’re redoubling the bigotry and demonization of Muslims. And they surely realize that there are more than a few people among their audience who frequently express the desire to deport and/or kill Muslims en masse; just take a look through the comments at Pamela Geller’s site any time and you’ll see them fantasizing about murder, quite openly.

Drawing up lists of enemies is a classic fascist tactic, of course; maybe Spencer and Geller are emulating their European fascist allies.
