Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze Reports CPAC Racism, Commenters Go Full-on Neo-Nazi

Bad craziness all over the right wing websites
Wingnuts • Views: 48,541

When the news broke yesterday about the white supremacists who crashed a CPAC panel on minority outreach and defended slavery, I wrote:

What this guy says is no different than the rhetoric you can find in the comment sections of almost any right wing blog or news site.

And today, they’re proving me right. A lot of right wing websites seem to be afraid of the story and are trying to ignore it, but at every site that does cover it, commenters are spewing shocking torrents of outright white supremacism, racism, and antisemitism.

At Glenn Beck’s theblaze.com: Member of All-White Student Union Makes Stunningly Outrageous Comment About Slavery During CPAC Session — and We Talked to Him.

The article is a fairly straightforward account of what happened, but the comments are jaw-dropping.

What George Lincoln Rockwell spoke about 60+ years ago is coming to fruition, this is America’s future when it becomes “48% black & 47% Hispanic”

Let’s pause for a reminder, in case you didn’t recognize the name: George Lincoln Rockwell was the founder of the American Nazi Party.

For over a century, the millstone of white guilt hung around our necks, retribution for slave-owning predecessors. In the 60s, American liberals began yanking that millstone while sticking a fork in the eye of black Americans, exacerbating the racial divide to extort a socialist solution. European Americans made this country the richest and greatest in the world and are the only ones who can save it, if given the chance..

[…]

I don’t agree with the white supremacists, BUT you have to see that your supposed to be embarrassed to say your white and proud of your heritage. This has long passed equality, imagine for a second a group called the National Association for the Advancement of White People, and the outrage that would follow it. Yet it’s acceptable for this group if they are colored. I never owned slaves, nor have any of the black people in America been slaves…

[…]

White heritage is the sum total of all achievements by Caucasoids the world over throughout history, beginning with Indo-Europeans in 5000 B.C. onward.

Caucasoids are a race and a race is a division of humanity that is regarded as an extended family sharing the same basic traits, as well as the same or nearly the same, DNA which sets them apart from other races who do not. Sub groups are identified as ethnicities.

White heritage in America considers the collective accomplishments of all white ethnicities, their victories, trials and tribulations, since they first populated this country.

[…]

The Era of White Guilt is indeed over. Barack Obama showed the country that “his people” are completely racist and bent on revenge. I truly believe this young man was just trying to stick up for himself.

Slavery happened. No one can deny that. Time to move on people. Make a life for yourself. Anyway you can.

If Minorities don’t stop “using” the race card and this history they are going to get the “push back” they deserve.

[…]

Lorianne - Many White Cultures were enslaved throughout history - the difference is the “White” races didn’t feel pity for themselves and try to bilk the system for every penny they could. Even here in America look at what races were forced into labor and belittled - The Chinese, The Irish, The Italians and the Japanese were even rounded up and placed in concentration camps during World War II. My own father was forced to go out to the desert and Witness Atomic bomb blasts that exposed him to radiation. Not once did I hear him complain or feel sorry for himself or demand special treatment. Yes , I am proud of my heritage and anyone who takes offense to it can kiss my Rear End ! I feel no guilt whatsoever ! If that’s Racist then so be it - I have no regrets !

[…]

I will say this about slavery and I will tell you I’m neither white nor a racist. Let’s turn the clock back and ask this common sense question:
If during the period of slavery, if all the slaves had been gathered and given a choice of either staying in this country as slaves or returning to their home land, which one would they have chosen?
I would argue that the majority would have chosen to stay here as slaves.
Let’s look at this hypothesis as it could be proven as well today.
If we travel to every third word nation in the world and made an open offer to their citizens of a pass to come to America in exchange for 10 years of slavery, I guarantee we could not get enough airplanes, boats, buses to bring all the takers.. I would have been thankful to my ancestors for coming here and enduring hardship so I can enjoy the greatness of this nation. A lot of our ancestors endure hardship maybe not slavery but other hardships to come to America so that we can have a piece of the dream.
I wish liberal progressives would stop spinning the past to separate us instead of unite us.

[…]

To all you White “Conservatives” “clutching the pearls” over Scott’s truthful and honest statements - WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? Your deranged reactions to the most normal feelings on Earth indicate the depths to which you have sunk. You’ve become so denatured that you immediately react by rearing back in horror, and denoucing one of your own young men, who is trying to prevent you from destroying yourselves.
This “Conservative” Black Host is the worst sort of Race huslter. He’s telling telling you clueless Whites what YOU want to hear, and attempting to keep the richest mine in history- the White Guilt Mine - open and operating. Why on EARTH you you think you to have anything to do with Blacks, as well as any member of any other Race? Why on Earth do you think you to cossett them, and appease them, and expend all your time, energy, and resources on them - when they only want you to PAY for them? When they attack you and try to kill you off as fast as they can? City after city has fallen to the destruction that Blacks wreak - Detroit, Birmingham, Atlanta, East St Louis, Philadelphia…..you feed and breed them - and they kill you, in gratitude. Why don’t you care about your OWN people, who are being systematically geneocided? What’s wrong with you?

[…]

africa 95% black
asia 95% asian
the middle east 90% arab
and White Countries? Well, “jews” use brown people as cultural, political, economic, and biological weapons of mass destruction to wreck White, Western countries and to further their lust for global communism completely devoid of any Natural Law/Rights.

[…]

We nee to control the Media like the Marxists do. Then we could control the debate..
As much as I disagree with Beck over his shilling for the Jewish people I’d like to see him get a platform on Cable/Sat TV. I view the Jews as extremely dangerous to the Republic however Beck is still far to the right of the Marxist Jewish Media on almost ever issue.

Absolutely horrifying. It goes on and on like this, for hundreds of comments.

…But suppose these facts were false; suppose that blacks and whites were exact equals in terms of civilizational and moral capacities. Or suppose the reverse, that whites were the civilizational and moral inferiors to blacks. Even then, there still is an independent moral basis to white nationalism, indeed, the true basis of all nationalisms: the moral order of God. We are designed to live among our own people, to experience political independence and self-sufficiency, to have a land and nation for ourselves. The races are designed to be “united like the hand, but separate like the fingers,” to borrow Scott’s (borrowed) phrase. This does not involve hatred for other races, any more than a family’s insistence on living in their own household is hatred for other families.

These are normal beliefs. The rapists of history, tradition, and morality are the egalitarians, the ones who glory in a borderless, “multicultural,” mocha-colored paradise, where every human being is a potential citizen of the deracinated American empire.

That is to say: Scott Terry is the normal one, and the rest of you are in the wrong. It is high time that you considered solemnly these important issues, these lofty subjects, and followed the evidence towards the pinnacle of Truth. It is high time that you abandoned your sinful, bestial reactions of pseudo-indignation, and that you instead accepted God at His Word.

Amen to you, Scott. God bless you and be with you. “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest” (Joshua 1:9).

Race doesn’t even exist beyond a social construct, you stupid racist assholes, you know shit about genetics you dumb fucks. You literally devote your hearts and hours of rage to a made-up concept that any sensible person with a basic understanding of evolution knows isn’t true.

Are there genetic differences across populations? Yes. Does variation matter more between individuals than between races? Yes. Learn fucking genetics.

8 Glenn Beck's Grand Unifying Theory of Obdicut  Sat, Mar 16, 2013 5:04:08pm

The GOP’s attempts to reduce minority voting— attempts that are still continuing— form the backdrop to this sort of racism. How can we expect racism in this country to reduce when the GOP is actively politically seeking to disenfranchise minorities?

Using religion to promote racism is disgusting. Using religion to promote any hatred is disgusting. These people are unbelievable.

And the cherry on top is that The Blaze didn’t egg them on this time:

Terry was accompanied by Matthew Heimbach, founder of the White Student Union at Towson University. TheBlaze spoke to Heimbach Friday to verify the statements were in accurate and in context. Terry is also a member of the White Students Union at Towson.

The White Student Union is openly racist and even harbors some seemingly anti-Semitic views. You can read through their blog here. Additionally, here’s an excerpt from a blog post on the blog announcing the student union will be represented at CPAC:

The Republican Establishment will be trotting out only the best and brightest to tell the white socially conservative working class base why they need to support homosexual marriage, corporatism, blank checks for Israel, and amnesty for criminal border jumpers. None of us can be surprised that the GOP Establishment has once again decided to declare that the destruction of our people, our nation, and our industrial livelihoods somehow are what the Founding Fathers wanted.

It seems clear that both Heimbach and Terry attended CPAC with the intention of causing a stir and offending people as they openly admit that they dislike the GOP establishment and the conservative conference.

Heimbach told TheBlaze that Terry was not attempting to spread ideas of “racism” but of “race realism.”

So what they went Buckaroo Banzai over was a fair representation of the facts. Mr. Beck, it’s to take out the ban stick and start swinging it.

Sad to say, but for a lot of folks out there hatred and religion are one and the same. I’m sure there’s still churches in some remote jerkwaters with lily-white congregatons that preach the old bugaboo that the “mark of Cain” was when God turned him into a black man.

Seriously. I’ve heard that in a sermon. In the Pacific Northwest at a fundamentalist church. Needless to say, I got up and walked out.

We are designed to live among our own people

where are the boundaries of this “caucasian” exclusivism? do anglo-saxons associate with slavs? sicilians? are the catholic irish, who 150 years ago were the targets of racist american nativism, which declared them to be inferior, impossibly foreign, and “unassimilable”, now accepted and part of the white race? or is anybody with a celtic surname still suspect?

are there little color squares you can match your skin tone to to see if you are really white? certificates of racial purity to be issued after verification of your family tree back at least three generations? handbooks explaining who is and who isn’t whatever it is that you-all “white” people claim to be?

i was talking once to a cab driver in NYC newly arrived from west africa, about how in this country even though we have a national theory of Who We Are that is vehemently against racism, yet, well, of course in fact there is still racism

he just laughed and said “where i come from, the people in the hills hate the people in the valley”

racism subdivides infinitely. “white supremacists”, if they ever established their racist utopia, would, i’m sure, soon find this out

Exactly. The city of Milwaukee is one the most segregated cities in the US if not the world. There are parts where it is sub divided by the block as to which ethnic group could live there. Each had their own churches, bars, grocery stores, etc. and all of it kept them in their place, unable to work together to achieve anything. That’s a core lesson of the union and why the right wing hates unions. It’s still remarkably the same & is a huge chunk of why it’s such a dysfunctional mess over there. Of course the rich (bleeps) over in Waukesha like it that way…

Since the song has been stuck in my head I guess I’ve had a chance to think about it more than usual. Politically it’s and interesting hybrib between anti-consumerist lefty and conservative regressive dreams of a past that probably wasn’t that idylic in reality.

Steve Earl is a radical hippie but I have to admit this is catchy, been stuck in my head all day

[Embedded content]

It was my great pleasure to see Steve Earle at the 9:30 club in D.C. about 12 years ago.

About two-thirds into his show, he went into a political rant about the death penalty — which, as I’m sure you can guess, he’s vehemently against.

About twenty or thirty of the yahoo crowd started booing loudly, and I’d guess an equal number of them left.

Their loss.

Is 9:30 Club still there. I was Stanely Clark there back in the 80’s with a fake ID. Good times, great venue.

What was my point? It’s called social commentary. Often the established and entrenched institutions in modern societies are critisized, often satirically. It’s a time honored tradition in open societies.

I left the D.C. area about three years ago, but a quick Google search shows it still to be open.

I saw some great shows there during my NoVa years…David Byrne, John Fogerty, Kasey Chambers, Steve Earle, Chuck Berry…but my favorite may have been the promotion tour where all the actors from A Mighty Wind performed their songs in concert in character.

I may be a cynical bastard, but I can also be an old softie. I love Kiss At The End Of The Rainbow beyond all mortal comprehension.

No, unfortunately. His unhinged stalker blogs are, though.

africa 95% black
asia 95% asian
the middle east 90% arab
and White Countries? Well, “jews” use brown people as cultural, political, economic, and biological weapons of mass destruction to wreck White, Western countries and to further their lust for global communism completely devoid of any Natural Law/Rights.

so “jews” don’t have designs on asian countries? or they just know those squinty-eyed bastards are too clever for them?
///obviously, but gotta do it i guess

And the Dems nominated the mayor of that mess to face Scott Walker.

Twice.

(Sorry, I couldn’t resist.) BBIAB

fair point i think. surely they could have found somebody to knock off a turd like walker. why all the downdings?

This “Conservative” Black Host is the worst sort of Race huslter. He’s telling telling you clueless Whites what YOU want to

This comment from one of the posters is actually true. Believe me when I tell you that most black “conservatives” are just making a buck. In fact I look forward to Dr. Ben Carson hustling the conservative movement in the future. He’s running the same con as Herman Caine.

re: #46 Charles Johnson

This is why he was speaking at CPAC. He’s cool with white supremacists.

K. Carl Smith is the real-life Clayton Bigsby (I know it’s a Chappelle’s Show reference, but bear with me).

Bigsby, being blind, wasn’t aware he was black (and wasn’t told); Smith, on the other hand, is a willing accomplice.

Because the original post was about Milwaukee’s distant past, and how the city developed in such a segregated way.

DF brings up today’s Dem mayor as somehow being responsible for a fucked up situation that was created a century ago.

87 Bunky Bunk  Sun, Mar 17, 2013 4:20:48pm

“Seriously, he wants to consider himself a friend of someone like that?”

I wonder how much he and his brother make to justify the amount of slime they spew. People like him are the black friend in the old “my best friend is a black” defense employed so often by members of the GOP.
