Kansas Community Center Killer Frazier Glenn Miller Is a Longtime Neo-Nazi

Home-grown far right terrorist
Crime • Views: 24,212

The SPLC’s HateWatch blog connects the dots: Frazier Glenn Miller, Longtime Anti-Semite, Arrested in Kansas Jewish Community Center Murders.

Frazier Glenn Miller, 73, of Aurora, Mo., was arrested today for the murder of three people at two separate Jewish Community Centers in Overland Park, Kan. Miller, who was arrested using the alias Frazier Glenn Cross, has been in the movement nearly his entire life. Miller is the former “grand dragon” of the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, which he founded and ran in the 1980s before being sued by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) for operating an illegal paramilitary organization and using intimidation tactics against African Americans.

After subsequently forming another Klan group, the White Patriot Party, he was found in criminal contempt and sentenced to six months in prison for violating the court settlement. He went underground while his conviction was under appeal but was caught by the FBI with a weapons cache in Missouri. He served three years in federal prison after being indicted on weapons charges and for plotting robberies and the assassination of SPLC founder Morris Dees. As part of a plea bargain, Miller testified against other Klan leaders in a 1988 sedition trial.

Miller is a raging anti-Semite who has posted more than 12,000 times on Vanguard News Network (VNN), whose slogan is “No Jews, Just Right.” VNN founder Alex Linder has openly advocated “exterminating” Jews since December 2009. Miller, a close partner to Linder, has called Jews “swarthy, hairy, bow-legged, beady-eyed, parasitic midgets.” Miller is also one of VNN’s largest donors and he printed and distributed thousands of copies of VNN’s newsletter, The Aryan Alternative.

Some Freepers have this all figured out:

So far, all indications are that the shooter was a Klansman, thus an obama-supporting DemonRAT. In contrast, the TEA Party and Conservatives stand for God, life and liberty.

As I wrote elsewhere, after considerable thought, I simply can’t think of a single episode of a mass murder or a political assassination carried out by anyone other than a liberal. And this incident in Kansas gets added to the long list of leftist murders.

Thanks. The hutch was placed in the backyard under my daughters bedroom window so she could peek out at Oreo whenever she wants. However we almost had a major disaster. My dog was going crazy when he noticed the rabbit behind the fencing. After calming him down the landlord stopped by and his dog followed him over. Now I have 2 dogs all excited over the rabbit. As I am helping the landlord put some stuff in the storage building my daughter catches his dog trying to chew a hole in the fencing. If she didn’t see that the dogs would have shared a rabbit dinner within 5 minutes. Oreo is now living in her new hutch in the garage.

He has a website…

Look at his Wiki page and the link is at the bottom. Pretty vile shit.

On his political life:

en.metapedia.org

“He joined the military in 1959, serving 20 years with two combat tours in the Vietnam War. He is married with five children.

“By the later years of his military career, he was denied promotion because of involvement in racialist politics. He was present as part of the Klan delegation at the Greensboro incident in November 1979 in Greensboro, North Carolina where four members of the Communist Workers’ Party were killed in a shoot-out with Klansmen and American National Socialists. “

Note the timing of the Greensboro incident—the same year he would have been “retired” from the military with his 20 yrs in. I’m wondering, also, if he was receiving a VA disability payment? With 5 kids to support over the years, he had to have a steady income of some sort and other than the mention of his driving a truck, I don’t see a pattern of regular employment.

I see a defense in the making.

The Feds are probably going to have to move hard on the Bundy Ranch and militia goons soon, hopefully with criminal warrants. It’s dangerous to let sit the idea they got away with that bullshit. Especially the detaining of federal employees, and militia guys who were photographed “scoping” agents. Those are some felony offenses. Grazing “tax”? No dear, that’s a fee, no different than if Bundy had an agreement to pay a fee to his neighbor in order to graze his cattle on the land.

Rancher’s son: ‘Weapons needed to intimidate’ feds during Nevada cattle seizure standoff

A show of force was necessary to stop the government seizure and sale of embattled cattle rancher Cliven Bundy’s cows, his son said on Sunday, a day after an armed standoff between federal agents and hundreds of Bundy’s supporters.

We were dedicated to opening those gates and peacefully walking through to retrieve those cattle,” Ammon Bundy said in an interview. “The presence of weapons was needed in order to intimidate them.”

We rented “Gravity” Fri night and about 30 min in, it stopped working. Why can’t people take better care of these things? Because they’re “just rentals”? It wasn’t the money, it was the fucking inconvenience and stymied anticipation of seeing what appeared to be a pretty good movie and we were just the recipients of some person’s unthinking carelessness. Now, we’ll have to take another chance that we don’t get the same disc next time.

State GOP gets to vote on secession at convention

To secede or not to secede.

That will be the question for Wisconsin Republicans at next month’s convention.

Earlier this month, the party’s Resolutions Committee voted in favor of a proposal that says the state party “supports legislation that upholds Wisconsin’s right, under extreme circumstances, to secede.”

A version of the so-called “state sovereignty” resolution was first OK’d last month by one of the state GOP’s eight regional caucuses as an assertion of the state’s 10th Amendment rights. The measure also calls for ending all mandates that go “beyond the scope of the constitutionally delegated powers of the federal government.”

That’s one reason I have a lot of respect for the game wardens in Pennsylvania. Pretty much any interaction they have in the field is going to be with armed people. And probably with a limited ideal of how many they are, what their attitudes are, and potentially how much they have been drinking.

Though they also do get help from locals and hunters who are responsible. Friend of mine’s father spotted where someone was baiting deer, showed it to the local warden, and was in the general area “just in case” when the warden arrested someone for poaching.*

That’s because it does reverse logic and assumes the conclusion while then trying to jigsaw puzzle facts and evidence to support said conclusion. This quickly leads to use of additional logical fallacies, appeals to authority, and the ultimate winning argument - “just shut up*”.

I think the latter is a more widely held attitude than a lot of people let on. My BIL worked for the county for a while and thus has an understanding on how government is an aid to the ranchers and farmers and not simply something taxing them and “blocking” success.

(addition)
And along the lines of the Bundy-thing my BIL understands overgrazing since the land abutting his was overgrazed and essentially has been useless for more than 5-6 cattle for a number of years. It takes quite a while for overgrazed land to recover on its own. And it is expensive to have it plowed and reseeded if possible to do that in any case.

My reading of the Bundy tea leaves:

First, as of right now despite the appearance BLM got what it wanted. That the negotiator was the county sheriff doesn’t make him Bundy’s buddy.

BLM sold a bunch of the cattle they seized. Bundy is getting about half that money back. The rest is being applied against the delinquent fees. The remaining cattle are being returned to Bundy.

Bundy agreed to have his cattle off federal land within 30 days. (A reasonable time, I think). That’s where the tea leaves come in.

See, I don’t think he’s going to follow through on his agreement. I think he really believes he got one over on the federal government and all he has to do is whistle up his supporters and keep doing things his way.

And that’s when it’s going to turn interesting. That’s when various liens get served for what amounts to the interest and added collection expenses. That’s when the de facto probation for kidnapping and threatening federal officials in the performance of their duties expires. If’n I were a betting man I’d happily wager that BLM, NPS (which was also involved), and a few other agencies are drafting a contingency plan for this confrontation to try to avoid excessive bloodshed.

Hopefully I’m wrong about Bundy. Hopefully since it was a (relative) local with whom he made this agreement, he abides by it. It’s just that his behavior for the past 20 years leads me to believe otherwise.

If he reneges on an agreement made via the county sheriff then he pretty much puts the lie to his “sovereign citizen” status claim since IIRC even they generally accept county level governance. And I wonder if at that point he also starts losing any local support he had remaining. (Assuming he had any to start with.)

Agreed, Bundy’s a creature of habit, he won’t abide by the agreement. In 30 days, his cattle will still be trespassing and he’ll still be acting like he’s got a right to the land. And when the Feds show up again 30+ days, he figures he can just ring up his militia buddies, give them his sob story again, and he can push things to the point that he’s given another 30 day extension. But what he doesn’t realize is that this was his one last chance, there will not be another extension.

When the BLM shows up again, it will be with much more manpower and a lot more firepower. And when his buddies try again to intimidate them into backing down, they’re gonna find themselves behind bars or worse. The sheriff won’t be bailing him out again, because even if he tries to negotiate another deal to “keep the peace,” the BLM’s not gonna agree to it.

Yes, the Klan, Obama’s biggest supporters and maybe the Freepers should read up about the KKK in Indiana. The KKK were only monolithically Democratic in their first incarnation after the Civil War. The Klan when it was most successful in the 1920’s was filled of people from both parties.

At the core, both the KKK and Tea Party fear and despise America being anything that isn’t in their image of what America should be. Part of me looks at the Bundy/BLM situation and hopes that this asshole gets what’s coming to him: a long jail term for repeatedly violating the law that everyone else follows

Part of me also realizes this could easily give the GOP/conservatives/Tea Baggers* the right-wing Jesus martyr they’ve been craving since OMG BLACK MAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE!!!

That’s what makes me concerned: not only is this another Ruby Ridge in the making; but given the general paranoid psychosis that passes for Tea Bag logic, this is the Fort Sumter these fuckwits have been craving.

But, yeah, I’ve got to think the BLM will return with some sizable backup. Tea Baggers are hard cases when dealing with essentially unarmed bureaucrats. I’d like to see how they deal with professional LEOs.

Neither are needed (nor authorized per posse comitatus acts).

The court has (multiple times) given BLM the right to remove and confiscate the cattle found on federal land. (see for example this and this, the two most recent court decisions over the whole mess. Actually, read them so you know some of the extra hurdles the BLM has crossed.)

All that’s required is for BLM to continue taking and selling any and all cattle found on the land. Bundy cannot afford to mount sufficient armed guards over all of them - it rapidly becomes cheaper to use approved land. So just use UAVs to overfly the herds and check for guards. No guards, run in a cattle collection team. Have a delay-strike team on standby for when Bundy tries to play stupid interception games. Plan and prepare an assault team for Bundy trying to turn it all into a shooting match on federal land.

Good News: Israel is making new friends
Israel says close to forging new ties across Arab world

Amongst the countries he was in contact with were Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, Lieberman told newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth - the first such disclosure by a senior Israeli official.

Saudi Arabia denied having any talks with Israel. Kuwait was not immediately available for comment.

Both these states, along with most other Arab nations, have traditionally been highly hostile towards Israel, which has only signed peace deals with two neighbours - Egypt and Jordan.

However, anti-Israeli sentiment was being superseded by a growing concern over Iran’s nuclear programme, Tehran’s regional allies, and the menace of Islamist militancy, Lieberman said.

“For the first time there is an understanding there that the real threat is not Israel, the Jews or Zionism. It is Iran, global jihad, (Lebanese Shi’ite guerrilla group) Hezbollah and al Qaeda,” the foreign minister said.

“There are contacts, there are talks, but we are very close to the stage in which within a year or 18 months it will no longer be secret, it will be conducted openly,” added Lieberman, who is a far rightist in the coalition government.

Yeah, about those plans to arms Syrian rebels……
Arming the ‘moderate’ rebels in the Syrian south

A front page story in yesterday’s New York Times features Syrian rebel commanders and coordinators complaining that weapons and other aid provided by the US are merely “buying time and giving people the illusion that there is aid when really there is not.” While the US has given the rebels over $260 million in “nonlethal support,” the article contends, the aid has not significantly helped or even convinced them that the US wants them to win.

Some caution on the US’ part in arming the rebels is warranted, however.

One of the rebel commanders depicted in the article is Bashar al Zoabi, head of the Yarmouk Brigade. Portrayed sympathetically (he is photographed at home with his young son, in the article’s online version), Zoabi heads a militia that has fought alongside the Al Nusrah Front, al Qaeda’s affiliate in Syria, on several occasions.

The “moderate Islamist” Yarmouk Brigade (or Yarmouk Martyrs’ Brigade) was formed in Deraa in August 2012 and fights mainly along the border with Jordan and the Golan Heights, according to the BBC. In the past it has been linked to the Free Syrian Army’s Supreme Military Council, but the New York Times article does not mention either the FSA or the SMC. In fact, the Yarmouk Brigade (Shuhada al Yarmouk Brigade) was one of 60 groups that defected from the Free Syrian Army in October [see LWJ report, Free Syrian Army continues to fracture as more units defect].

In March and May last year, the Yarmouk Brigade seized UN peacekeepers in the Golan Heights, releasing them only after “tough negotiations.”

Russian jet passes over U.S. warship

A U.S. military official says a Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region.

The official says the fighter flew within 1,000 yards (900 meters) of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet (150 meters) above sea level, saying this prompted ship commanders to issue several radio warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and the passes ended without incident.

Vox: Putin has already won in Ukraine

The hard truth is that Ukraine, while not totally on its own, is sort of on its own. Ukrainian leaders have wisely chosen to avoid a direct military confrontation with Russia, which it would almost certainly lose, and which would give Moscow an excuse to seize even more Ukrainian territory. That leaves the United States and Europe, which clearly oppose Russia’s actions in Ukraine, but are only willing to go so far to stop them from continuing.

The US and Europe have three main options for stopping Russia, all of which run into the same problem: Russia, despite Obama’s comments, is a pretty big and powerful country. The first option is targeted economic sanctions on top Russian officials: the US and European Union did this already, but it hasn’t appreciably deterred Moscow. The second is broader sanctions against the Russian economy; damaging the Russian economy would similarly damage Western European economies, probably beyond what they’re willing to accept during their tenuous recoveries from the Euro crisis. The third option is to threaten military retaliation, either explicitly or more implicitly by inviting Ukraine to apply for NATO membership; given that Russia has an enormous military and thousands of nuclear warheads, the risk of total global annihilation is probably higher than anyone is willing to accept.

Nothing quite complicates your life like a federal criminal indictment.

How can this be if you’re an intl fugitive? Even if it is from Canada. Disorderly conduct, my ass.

“Attorneys for Craig Cobb and Kynan Dutton, who planned to take over Leith, N.D. and turn it into an all-white enclave, argued that the men’s guns were legal and asked for the seven felony terrorizing charges against their clients to be dismissed, or reduced to disorderly conduct.”

talkingpointsmemo.com

OTOH, Dutton struck a deal to testify against Cobb, pled guilty to 7 misdemeanors (reduced from felonies) and got off easy.

“Quick said his client was not a white supremacist but was someone who happened to favor the National Socialist Movement. He is a father with no criminal history and a U.S. Marine who served in Iraq, Quick said.

“Dutton moved to North Dakota from Oregon partly because of the prospect of free rent offered by Cobb, and to support Cobb, Quick said.”

“The Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired and the Kansas City community has experienced a great loss. Terri LaManno, occupational therapist at CCVI for eight years, was a victim of the senseless shooting yesterday at Village Shalom. Our deepest sympathies go out to Terri’s husband, Jim, and their two children, Alissa and Gian. Terri was a gracious, generous, skilled, and deeply caring individual who made a great difference in the lives of so many children and their families with whom she worked at CCVI. She will forever be missed by all of us in the CCVI family.”

Not until page 10, that is, where there was a tiny story box about some shooting in Kansas where some people may have died.

SF Chronicle had a small article buried in the middle of the first section that sorta, kinda implied that the shooter may have had some unpleasant views, but not much more that that.

Nothing at all like the Fort Hood coverage, even though the same number of people were killed.

Not quite but close, and yes that’s a tactical win.

Background: the government already sold a large portion of the ~400 head it had rounded up. The total fines and such, excluding interest, are a bit under 200,000. Cattle at this time are selling for $1200 to $1500 per head after commission. (There are exceptions but that’s the current cattle association report, with articles about how it’s high and how long will it last. But I digress).

The number one objective is for Bundy to quit using federal land that he’s destroying. That’s going to take 30 days to determine, but Bundy agreed with the sheriff to get the cattle off the land.

The number two objective is to get the back due moneys. That was accomplished.

So we’ve got the secondary accomplished and (finally) an agreement to complete the primary.

The armed resistance crap? Expect it to have repercussions over the next year or so as people get their collections and licenses investigated by BATF and other organizations. It’s a federal crime to offer armed resistance to federal authorities performing their duties, and it’s another one to kidnap federal agents. (Confine federal authorities while they are in the performance of their duties.) But for both PR and operational reasons avoiding a bloodbath was important.

And the federal government has both time and resources for this to take it in low-violence nibbles.

So yes, I call it a win.

“According to a probable cause statement released by police Monday, Megan Huntsman said that between 1996 and 2006, she gave birth to at least seven babies at her home and that all but one of them were born alive.

“Huntsman, 39, said she killed them immediately after they were born, and put their bodies inside the boxes. The statement said each baby was wrapped in either a towel or a shirt, and placed in a plastic bag.”

Hoax or Arnhem Choudary?
Trojan Horse: 25 schools probed over alleged takeover plot

Anonymous claims hard-line Muslims were trying to take over the running of some city schools were made in a letter sent to local authorities last year.

The 25 schools now being looked at include primaries, secondaries and academies.
The 200-plus reports to the council include emails and calls from staff, parents and governors.

The leader of Birmingham City Council, Sir Albert Bore, said he did not know the full range of issues raised and said it would be wrong to comment on them.

….
Concerns were raised last year when an undated and anonymous letter emerged outlining the alleged plot, dubbed “Operation Trojan Horse”.

Bradford contact

It claimed the plan aimed to make schools adhere to more Islamic principles and had already brought about leadership changes at four schools.

The letter was apparently penned by someone in Birmingham to a contact in Bradford.

He added that the city council had spoken to local authorities in both Manchester and Bradford.

“There are certainly issues in Bradford which have similarities with the issues being spoken about in Birmingham,” he said.

I’m sure you’re familiar with the Greensboro Incident, or Massacre as it’s also known, but for those who aren’t here’s the Wiki, and here’s a video.

Parts of my Declaration of War. Copies of the 2-page declaration were mailed to White Patriot Party members, other White groups, and to the media, politicians, and national and state law enforcement officials, in April 1987.

“I warned those federal SOB’s. I told them repeatedly that if ZOG (Zionist Occupation Government) framed our leaders that we would wage war against them because war would then be our only hope for the survival of our Race.”

“All 5,000 White Patriots are now honor bound to pick up the sword and do battle.”

“I, Glenn Miller, this 6th day of April 1987, do herewith declare total war against ZOG.”

“I ask for no quarter. I will give none.”

“Together, we will cleanse the land of evil, corruption, and mongrels. And, we will build a glorious future and a nation in which all our people can scream proudly, “This land is our land. This people is our people. This God is our God, and these we will defend — One God, One Race, One nation.”

“And so, fellow Aryan warriors, strike now. Strike for your homeland. Strike for your Southern honor. Strike for the little children. Strike for your wives and loved ones. Strike for the millions of innocent White babies murdered by Jew-legalized abortion, who cry out from their graves for vengeance. Strike for the millions of our people raped or assaulted or murdered by mongrels. Strike for the millions of our Race butchered in Jew wars. Strike brothers and sisters for all the outrages committed against our people.”

“Let the blood of our enemies flood the streets, rivers, and fields of the nation in holy vengeance and justice.”

‘Those of you who refuse to fight will face the wrath of the God, who orders me.”

“Strike the SOB’s.”

“And, let the battle axes swing smoothly and the bullets whiz true.”

“If I fall, bury me in the Old Miller graveyard near Dillon, South Carolina in my Patriot uniform, with my arm raised in the White Power salute, and play the following songs over me, The Old Rugged Cross, Tomorrow Belongs to Me, Ride of the Valkyries, and Dixie.”

“I’ll see you in Valhalla.”

Leader, White Patriot Party

Lots of herpty derp on FB today about the Russian jet that buzzed a US warship. Cue the outraged cries of:

The world doesn’t respect or fear us anymore!

The US military is the weakest it’s ever been!

Reagan would’ve started WW3 over this but Obummer’s a coward!

Is there something in the water that makes conservatives act dumb like this? WTF.

BUSH WOULDN’T TOLERATE THIS!1!!

Oh, wait…

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and laws of the United States of America, and in order to provide for establishment of appropriate fees for the grazing of domestic livestock on public rangelands, it is ordered as follows:

Ronald Reagan

The White House,

February 14, 1986.

Send in the zombie Reagan!

He would have stood at Hitler’s right side, no doubt.

Sorry, Miller, but you and your ideology is not what this country is about. Learn that, or pay the price.

Parts of my Declaration of War. Copies of the 2-page declaration were mailed to White Patriot Party members, other White groups, and to the media, politicians, and national and state law enforcement officials, in April 1987.

So what’s he been doing since 1987? Was he in jail?

So I checked out my local paper’s coverage of the event this morning and found … nothing.

My copy of the SF Chronicle says “Suspect with Racist Past Arrested in 3 Gun Deaths,” and goes into detail in the body text about his racist past. Much more than an implication. (I was out of town for the Fort Hood shootings, so can’t compare them.)

So who’s supposed to pay for the custom casket, hmm?

Eh, just break it off and point it in the general direction.

I get the Kindle edition, so perhaps they’re different.

They could just skip the casket and help him become worm food all the quicker.

The right’s armed resistance meme moved from fantasy to reality at the Bundy ranch.
I think the FBI made the call to pull back as soon as they had enough video and other evidence to eventually indict the nuts who made threats or pointed weapons. The next step will be a roundup, not of cattle, but of gloating RWNJs.

I can’t wait to see the competing accounts of what was discussed in the call.

Yep. Those nutjobs were probably so high on the idea that they were taking on the big bad Gubmint, they didn’t realize that they’d all been ID’d.

Imagine their surprise when they’re arrested back in whatever shithole town they came from, after thinking they ‘won.’ I’d pay to see video of the arrests.

I don’t think it qualifies as a Godwin at that point.
